Also my brother is thinking about writing another story but he's not sure but I'll keep you guys updated. Now then without anything else to say lets begin.
Stitched Kitsune: Chapter 41
Kiri (3 days after arriving); in the country side: With Naruto, Hinata and Fubuki
"Have you see this guy" Naruto asked as he held up a rough sketch of Utakata the six tails jinchuriki towards a group of men.
"Um Naruto" Fubuki said and Naruto looked at her.
"Yeah what's up" Naruto said and Hinata spoke up next.
"They won't tell you anything" Hinata said and Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"What? Why" Naruto asked and Fubuki pointed at them.
"Look at them dumbass" Fubuki said in frustration; Naruto turned towards the group of 10 bald men between the ages of 12 to 70. They all wore blue and white robes, prayer beads and six black dots tattooed on their foreheads.
"What; just because they have cancer doesn't mean they can't talk" Naruto said and Hinata sweat dropped and Fubuki slapped her forehead.
"They don't have cancer dip shit; they're Buddhist monks" Fubuki said and Naruto went wide eyed "they take a vow of silence at like ten; they literally can't talk because of their vows to god".
"Oh really" Naruto said looking at the group of monks "I'm so sorry about that"; Naruto took out a piece of paper and wrote down 'Yes' and 'no' on it. "Ok then; just point to your answer" Naruto said; Fubuki came up and hit Naruto in the back of the head "Ow Fubuki; what was that for" he whined.
"Stop it you idiot" Fubuki hissed as she dragged Naruto away "leave those men of god alone"; Naruto was pulled away from the group of monks by Fubuki and Hinata ran up and dug into her pocket.
"I'm terribly sorry about him; he's not exactly well mannered, but he means well" Hinata said and the leader of the men bowed and smiled at her; Hinata took out her wallet and retrieved 5,000 Ryo (about 30 dollars USD). "Please take this donation" Hinata said holding out the money and bowing "Give, even if you only have a little" Hinata said quoting Buddha .
The monk took the money from Hinata and took off his prayer beads and handed them to her; Hinata gripped the beads and looked at the monk who just smiled politely. The other monks all bowed to her and Hinata smiled.
"May the light of Buddha guide your path to Nirvana" Hinata said with a smile as she turned and walked towards Fubuki who was chastising Naruto like he was a child.
……
Naruto, Hinata and Fubuki were all waiting on the side of the road outside a nearby town as Tsunade went in to see if anyone had seen Utakata; she wanted to go alone because she said that she works faster alone.
"Geez, what's taking Tsunade so long" Naruto said as he leaned up against a tree "I swear she moves so slow I should start calling her 'granny'".
"Naruto; it's only been two hours" Hinata said "please be more patient; I mean it took you a while to find her"; Naruto nodded and groaned.
"Yeah I did; it also didn't help that I got ambushed by two S-rank ninja's and Yugito" Naruto said and he crossed his arms "I'm glad Sasori killed that Itachi guy; although I wonder what he did with the body".
Meanwhile; In snow country: With Sasori and Toka
Sasori and Toka were both in the work shop with Itachi's corpse laying on a table; Itachi's eyes, brain, heart and other organs were in jars full of orange liquid and his body was cut open. Sasori took a I.V bag full of the orange liquid and replaced the one already in Itachi's arm; Sasori tossed the empty bag into a bio-hazard bin and looked to his daughter
"Ok Toka, we've pumped the body full of the preservative fluid for six days; now what do we do" Sasori said and Toka tapped her chin for a few seconds.
"Oh, I know; we start putting in weapons" Toka said excitedly and Sasori nodded.
"Very good honey" Sasori said "now put on your gloves and we'll get started"; Toka nodded and ran over to another table where she put on an apron and some rubber gloves and walked back over. "Ok sweetie; which one do you want to do first" Sasori asked and Toka smiled.
"I want to do the senbon launcher in the mouth" Toka said and Sasori nodded.
"Very well then" Sasori said as he grabbed the senbon launcher and some screws "ok sweetie; lead the way, I'll help you if you get stuck".
Toka nodded and went to a step stool by Itachi's head; Toka reached out and popped off the top off Itachi's head revealing the hollowed out skull. "Ok Mr. Itachi; please hold still" she said as she picked up the launcher and began to finesse it into Itachi's holler out head.
Sasori looked on as his daughter installed the weapon and smiled at the sight 'they grow up so fast' he thought.
Back with Naruto and the others
Naruto, Hinata and Fubuki waited for a few more minutes until they saw Tsunade walk up the road towards them; Tsunade walked up and spoke to them.
"No one has seen anyone matching the description of Utakata" Tsunade said and everyone sighed "how did your search go".
"It went ok; saw some sights, harassed some monks" Fubuki said and Tsunade raised an eyebrow "you know the usual".
"Uhh… what" Tsunade asked confused.
"Naruto tried to get some answers from some Buddhist monks" Hinata said and Tsunade looked at Naruto who was blushing in embarrassment "he didn't know about the 'vows of silence' they take".
"Hehehe; yeah that was my bad" Naruto said and Tsunade sweat dropped.
"My god you're dumb" Tsunade said and Naruto got a tic mark "well then, since there is nothing for us here lets get moving; we can make it a few more miles north and set up camp". "That way once the morning comes we can be near the next town" Tsunade said and everyone nodded.
"Alrighty then; lets get going" Naruto said as he and his group began walking north.
Later that night; at camp: With Naruto
Naruto was sitting on a log near a fire as three tents were set up; Naruto volunteered to be first watch while Tsunade, Hinata and Fubuki all slept. Naruto was alone with his thoughts as he wondered what this Utakata guy would be like.
Naruto has met 3 other jinchuriki and they're personalities due to their Biju has varied; he's met Fu (obviously since they're dating), Gaara and Yugito, and so far two of them have attempted to kill him.
Fu obviously was by far the best one he met so far as not only did she befriend him but fell in love with him; Fu has a gentle and bubbly personality that was cultivated by Chomei. While she lived a hard life she never became evil or cruel; sure she did mercenary work and has killed several people, but she has never done it out of malice or pleasure.
Yugito was kind of a middle ground as she did try to kill Naruto but forgave him… sort of; Matatabi was an aggressive biju that didn't hesitate to engage in combat or support Yugito in getting payback. However Yugito did not intentionally target innocent bystanders nor did she intend to hurt anyone except Naruto; the only reason her friend Samui tried to kill Kurenai was because Kurenai butted into the fight.
Gaara however was a different story and the kind Naruto wouldn't want to meet; Gaara was ruthless, bloodthirsty and completely insane and if he an Naruto fought one of them would surely be dead by the end of the battle. This was in no doubt because of Shukaku's influence; the insanity from the Biju no doubt turned Gaara into a killing machine who only wants battle and death.
Naruto thought about everything and sighed 'best case scenario he's friendly like Fu; but hopefully he doesn't fall in love with me like her' Naruto thought with a chuckle 'second best is that he's like Yugito; not friendly but not trying to kill me… at least not anymore'. Naruto clenched his fists as he thought about Gaara 'Worst case scenario… if he's like Gaara' Naruto thought 'I'll fight him and hopefully kill him; but I'll tell the others to go… no reason for them to die for me'.
"Thinking hard over there" Fubuki said snapping Naruto out of his thought.
"Hey Fubuki; what're you doing up" Naruto asked as Fubuki walked over and sat down next to Naruto.
"Can't sleep; I don't sleep that much anyway" Fubuki said "what were you thinking about"; Naruto sighed and spoke.
"About how finding Utakata will turn out" Naruto said "I just hope he isn't like Gaara; if he is I'll have to kill him before he kills us". Naruto then looked at Fubuki and spoke "hypothetically, if I did have to fight him; would you let me fight him alone" he asked and Fubuki looked shocked.
"What? Hell no; I'd be there right beside you" Fubuki said and Naruto nodded.
"Even if I asked you to go" Naruto asked and Fubuki nodded.
"I'd still stay dummy" Fubuki said with an annoyed look "you know I like you, and I don't want anything to happen to you". "I haven't even become one of your girlfriends yet either; and I'm not giving up on that" Fubuki said and Naruto blushed.
"Why do you like me anyway" Naruto asked "I mean… we've know each other for years for sure; but, why me".
Fubuki looked at him and had a smile on her face "simple; because you're a great guy" Fubuki said and Naruto looked at her "you saved Fu and Karin from their villages and didn't ask for anything in return; when they confessed to you you were worried about being able to love them equally". "Any other guy who had more than one girlfriend would think that they were hot shit; but not you" Fubuki said "you just don't go after any girl with a nice rack or bats her eyelashes at you; you genuinely care about the girls and their feelings". "I mean hell; you traveled across the water to help your girlfriend bring her masters body back without hesitation" Fubuki said "yes, you do some bad things; but you are a good person deep down and you do what's right for those you love".
Naruto hearing this looked at Fubuki and smiled "you know it's funny; Fu, Karin, Haku… their love is what I treasure the most" Naruto said "money is money, it's something i need to live; but their love… is something I can't live without". "I guess you can say I'm greed for love; and I want all the love I can get" Naruto said and Fubuki chuckled "is that corny".
"No" Fubuki said as she reached over and gripped Naruto's hand; Naruto and Fubuki looked into each other's eyes and both of them leaned forward. Naruto and Fubuki both kissed each other for a few seconds before they both pulled away "I think it's sweet, and show you have a heart" she said and Naruto chuckled.
"Well I do technically have four of them" Naruto said and Fubuki rolled her eyes "so are we a couple now".
"I believe so" Fubuki said and Naruto smiled.
"Great, I'm glad to have you; and I'm sure Fu's going to be happy too" Naruto said and Fubuki nodded.
"She's going to flip when she hears the news" Fubuki said and Naruto nodded.
"Ok then, now I have something else to tell you; and please don't be shocked or mad" Naruto said and Fubuki looked at him seriously.
"What is it" Fubuki asked seriously; Naruto took a deep breath and spoke.
"I found out about two weeks ago that Hinata likes me" Naruto said; Fubuki went wide eyed and Naruto nodded "I know, shocking right".
"Yes it is" Fubuki said surprised "you are such an idiot"; Naruto got a tic mark at this.
"Hey" Naruto said insulted.
"I already knew that dumbass" Fubuki said making Naruto go wide eyed "Haku knew it, Fu knows it too; so does Karin, Sakura, Mie, Toka, Kakuzu and everyone else that has half a brain cell". "How the hell could you not tell" Fubuki said "Hinata is as easy to read as an open book test".
"Well I only saw her as 'Hinata, my long lost childhood friend who I got skinned alive over'" Naruto said "not as 'Hinata, my long lost childhood friend who loved me for god knows how many years and lived in agony at my absence'". Naruto buried his face in his hands "oh god… why is this so difficult; I already have four girlfriends, so why is Hinata so different" he said and Fubuki shrugged.
"I don't know; maybe you loved her all along" Fubuki said "maybe Hinata was your first love and when you finally reunited you realized it".
"That… makes to much sense to not be right" Naruto said as he dragged his hands down his face; just then there was some beeping coming from Hinata's tent and they both heard yawning.
The tent unzipped and Hinata got out wearing her chakra armor body suit as pajamas and rubbing her eyes "ok Naruto; I'm on watch now" Hinata said as she opened her eyes "oh Fubuki, you're up; did you have a good sleep".
Fubuki nodded and spoke "yeah, I, uh" she stammered before reaching for Naruto's hand "me and Naruto have officially became a couple"; Hinata hearing this went wide eyed.
"Oh, well, that's great to hear" Hinata said slightly saddened; Fubuki seeing this got up and walked over.
"Yeah, but now I'm gonna go to bed; goodnight" Fubuki said before she leaned in hugging Hinata and whispered in Hinata's ear "you might wanna confess now while you're alone". Hinata went wide eyed and blushed as she realized Fubuki knew about her feeling towards Naruto "ok then; good night you two" Fubuki said as she entered her tent and zipped it up.
Naruto and Hinata were both alone and blushing as they looked at each other "so, Hinata… um" Naruto stammered out as Hinata looked at him.
"Y-yes Naruto" Hinata said awkwardly as she poked her fingers together; Naruto looked at how bashful Hinata was being and began to feel tight in his chest.
"I-I just want to say" Naruto stuttered out as Hinata looked at him "have a good shift; I really appreciate and care about you" he said quickly. Hinata was about to speak until Naruto rushed forward and gave her a big hug "y-your doing a really good job" he stuttered as he went to his tent "see you in the morning; nighty night". Naruto got into his tent and collapsed onto his bed 'aww man, stupid, stupid' Naruto thought as he hit his fists against his head 'why did I chicken out; she's probably feeling super bad right now'.
'N-Naruto's thinking I'm doing a good job' Hinata thought with a blush and a smile 'h-he appreciates what I'm doing'; Hinata turned around and sat be the fire summoning out her bow and looking around. 'I won't let Naruto down; he believes in me' Hinata thought with determination 'I will watch over everyone and ensure no harm comes'.
'Damn it; things were just getting good' Tsunade thought sitting in her tent, sipping sake and hearing everything that just happened for the past ten minutes 'I wonder when Naruto and Hinata will end this whole 'will they, won't they thing'; if this was a soap opera I'd totally ship them'. Tsunade took one final sip of sake and laid down 'damn, looks like I'll have to wait a little longer' she thought before closing here eyes.
The next day: With Naruto, Tsunade, Hinata and Fubuki
Naruto and the others walked down the road towards another village in their search for Utakata; Naruto looked over to Hinata with a slight blush on his face "S-so Hinata; how was your watch last night" he asked and Hinata looked at him.
"It went well; I was alert all night" Hinata said with a smile "I wouldn't let anything harm you, Lady Tsunade or Fubuki".
"Thanks Hinata; I appreciate it" Naruto said before looking away 'damn it'.
"So Lady Tsunade; where are we heading to next" Fubuki said and Tsunade looked at her map.
"We will be arriving at a place called Tsuchigumo village" Tsunade said "It's near Mount Katsuragi and is home to the Tsuchigumo clan; a clan that was allied with Konoha". Naruto and Hinata went wide eyed at this and spoke.
"What! You're taking us to a village that's allied with Konoha; are your crazy" Naruto shouted before Tsunade 'bonked' him on the head.
"Stop shouting you idiot" Tsunade said as Naruto nursed his bump and Hinata checked his head " I said 'was allied with Konoha'". "Since sensei is dead that treaty is pretty much dead; also along with that there is only like ten to twenty members or so" Tsunade said "if we do have to fight, you, me and Fubuki can handle them no problem". Tsunade looked at Hinata "I'm sure Hinata here wouldn't want any unnecessary killing" she said with a reassuring smile and Hinata nodded.
"I'll only use violence as a last resort" Hinata said and the others nodded.
"Ok then, let's check this place out" Naruto said as they continued down the road.
3 hours later: Tsuchigumo village
Naruto and the other all walked through the gates of Tsuchigumo village and looked around; this village was very small, even smaller than the village in wave country. There were multiple buildings and stalls selling everything from trinkets to fresh produce but other than that the village looked very small and poor.
"Wow… this place is pretty small" Naruto said as he looked around "this village looks like maybe a thousand people live here".
"Yeah I'm not keeping my hopes up for this place" Fubuki said as she looked around.
"Come on you two; we haven't even looked yet" Hinata said and Tsunade nodded.
"She's right, lets look around" Tsunade said "Naruto, with me, we'll head to the market; Hinata and Fubuki, go check any bars or restaurants for any information".
With Naruto and Tsunade
"Ok one apple, one orange, a bag of beef jerky and a bottle of watermelon juice" a vendor said to Naruto as he and Tsunade stopped by a stall "that will be eight hundred fifty six Ryo please".
"Damn this place is cheap" Naruto said as he pulled out his wallet and opened it and began to fish for money; Tsunade looked down at Naruto's wallet and looked at it. It was a Kamen Rider wallet and Tsunade spoke.
"A Kamen Rider wallet" Tsunade said and Naruto looked to her while handing the vendor the money.
"What's wrong with it" Naruto asked and Tsunade shrugged.
"Nothing, nothing; just never thought I'd see someone with as much money as you have a wallet like that" Tsunade said and Naruto grabbed his bag of produce and began to walk away with her.
"It was a gift from Mie; for my tenth birthday" Naruto said and Tsunade nodded "she saw it in town and bought it for me; I've been using it ever since". "I may have money but that doesn't mean I waste it on designer cloths or other useless crap" Naruto said as he and Tsunade walked through the crowd "I like things with sentimental value, not monetary value".
Tsunade smiled at this "well it's nice to know where your priorities are" she said.
"Besides I only spend money on the girls" Naruto said making Tsunade raise an eyebrow "Me and Fu have a manga collection, Karin likes to play video games with her sister and me and Haku likes to garden and make the house look nice". "Heh… now with Fubuki as one of my girlfriends I'm gonna have to keep up with her chocolate addiction" Naruto said with a chuckle "they get me stuff too, collectibles, trinkets; heck Fu likes to polish my leather jacket so it lasts longer". Naruto touched his jacket ad despite it being over five years old at that point is still look good "it's the little things that matter the most" he said.
Naruto turned his head to the side and saw another stall "speaking of little things" Naruto said as he walked over; there was a stall filled with hundreds of hand made jewelry. There were jade necklaces, rings, silver lockets and earrings and even wooden object too; Naruto walked up and saw a girl also looking at the stall.
"Excuse me miss, mind if I get by" Naruto asked the girl; the girl turned and looked at him. She had wavy blonde hair, fair skin and green eyes. She wore a violet Kimono top with a black obi, black shorts with a skirt covering it, violet arm warmers and black sandals; Naruto looked at her and thought she looked kind of cute.
"Oh, sorry about that" the girl said as she looked towards Naruto and Tsunade 'huh… never seen them here before; probably mother and son passing through'. The girl looked at Naruto and cocked an eyebrow 'wonder why he's covering his mouth with that mask' she thought.
"Hey buddy, before I buy, can I ask you something" Naruto said as he pulled out the sketch of Utakata and held it open towards the vendor "have you seen a guy named Utakata around here".
The vendor looked at the sketch and shook his head "sorry kid, he's not local; if he was I'd recognize him" the vendor said.
Tsunade was looking on and studied the vendors body language; he was calm and speaking evenly so he was telling the truth. However she then looked over to the blonde girl and saw something that peaked her interest; the girl was wide eyed and looking away from Naruto. She held her groceries close to her chest and her fingers began to tremble.
"Damn really; crud" Naruto said as he held his head down; Naruto looked around and found a jade butterfly necklace and picked it up "I'll take this; I'm sure Fu would like it". Naruto then looked over to the girl and spoke "and I'll buy her something too; for cutting in line" he said and the girl went wide eyed.
"N-no it's ok; I should get going" the girl said.
"Oh come on Hotaru; the boys being nice" the vendor said "one butterfly necklace and one wooden spider ring "twenty five hundred Ryo for the necklace and five hundred for the ring".
"Man I love how cheap everything is here" Naruto said as he pulled out some money and handed it to the vendor; the vendor took the money and gave Naruto the jewelry. "Here you go Hotaru; have a great day" Naruto said as he handed her the ring; Hotaru took the ring and smiled.
"T-thank you sir; you're too kind" Hotaru said as she bowed and left; Naruto was smiling with a hint of happiness as he and Tsunade began to walk away.
"Look at that; I just made her day" Naruto said as he turned to Tsunade; Naruto saw the look on Tsunade's face as it was laser focused on Hotaru who was hurrying away from the area "what is it".
"The way she reacted to the picture and you saying 'Utakata'" Tsunade said "she knows something". "We should tail her" Tsunade said and Naruto nodded.
"Ok, lead the way" Naruto said as they both disappeared into he crowd.
Hotaru left the marketplace and began to run as fast as she could to the eastern village gate 'I have to warn lord Utakata' she thought as she rushed through the gates and out into the country side.
10 miles east of the village: With Naruto and Tsunade
Naruto and Tsunade were running through a forest, hopping from tree to tree as they were following Hotaru's trail; as they ran through the tree's Naruto was looking around for anything suspicious.
"Dang that girl moves fast" Naruto said "I guess trying to save a friend really puts a pep in your step".
"Yeah, most definitely lit a fire under her ass" Tsunade said as she ran beside Naruto; as they both jumped to another branch Naruto and Tsunade saw something coming towards them. It was two bubbles floating in the air.
"Huh… bubbles" Naruto said as he reached out and was about to poke it; Tsunade went wide eyed and shouted.
"Naruto, don't" Tsunade shouted as she pushed him away before jumping to the ground; both bubbles exploded blowing the tree branch into splinters. Tsunade landed and Utakata ran out from behind a tree going through hand signs.
"Water Style: Wild Water Wave" Utakata shot a stream of high powered water at Tsunade who put her hands together like a spear point; the water hit her hands and spread off into two different directions before dying down.
Tsunade now soaking wet looked at Utakata who spoke "I'm not joining you; you can forget it" Utakata said "I will not be a slave to Yagura anymore".
"Calm down down damn it" Tsunade shouted as she raised her hands "I'm Tsunade Senju; I'm here on a mission"; Utakata hearing this went wide eyed, he was no fool, there was no way he could take on a sanin. "Mei Terumi is now the Mizukage; Yagura has been dead for a while now" Tsunade said "please, all I want to do is talk".
"How do I know you are telling the truth" Utakata said; Tsunade sighed and Utakata blinked for a split second. The next thing he knew Tsunade tapped her finger on his forehead and smirked "If I wanted to kill or capture you; I would've done so already" she said and Utakata gulped.
"I see" Utakata said "well then; lets go and get Hotaru and head back to my home". Just then there was a loud scream and both Tsunade and Utakata looked over "that was Hotaru; come on" he said as they both ran over.
(One minute prior):With Naruto
Naruto fell to the ground hard as Tsunade pushed him off of the tree branch he was on; as he hit the ground the bubbles exploded and shoot the area "holy hell" Naruto shouted as he jumped to the side as wooden shards rained down.
As Naruto got to his feet he heard rustling next to him and turned just in time to see Hotaru jump out of the bushes with her fist cocked back "I got you now" she shouted as she threw a punch.
Naruto in a panic hardened his body as Hotaru's punch connected with his cheek; there was a loud crack and Naruto's head was cocked to the side. Naruto felt no pain and turned his head and nearly gagged at what he saw.
Hotaru's arm was broken about 3 inches below her wrist as her bone was popping out and her hand was dangling; her bone did not break through the skin and Hotaru looked at it. Naruto knew that punching him with his hardened body was the equivalent to punching a brick wall; people like Kakuzu, Tsunade, Zabuza and Sasori could do it easily, while Fu, Haku and Hinata could do it with a little difficulty. But to those like Karin, Sakura or anyone else that isn't proficient in taijutsu, the results will be devastating if they hit him bare handed.
Hotaru looked at her broken arm and as the adrenaline wore off she began to breath heavily and screamed at the top of her lungs as the pain registered to her head.
"MY ARM, MY ARM" Hotaru shouted and Naruto panicked.
"Holy shit; sit down, sit down" Naruto shouted as he grabbed Hotaru and sat her down on the ground and looked at her arm "oh man, oh man, oh man". "TSUNADE; GET OVER HERE" Naruto shouted; he didn't have to wait long as Tsunade and Utakata ran up and Utakata went wide eyed.
"Kami above" Utakata said in a panic as he ran up and knelt beside Hotaru "Hotaru; what happened, are you ok". Hotaru had tears running down her face and spoke.
"I-I punched him in the face like you taught me; but when I hit him I b-broke my arm" Hotaru said in between gasps for air.
"WHAT" Utakata shouted as he looked at Naruto who spoke.
"It was my body hardening technique; it hardens by body using earth chakra" Naruto said trying to defend himself "I put it on out of reflex; I'm sorry". "She essentially punched a brick wall full force with her fist; if I didn't use it I'd probably be knocked out by now" Naruto said.
"I'll deal with you later" Utakata said and Naruto nodded "Lady Tsunade; can you help her"; Tsunade nodded and got down onto her knee and looked to Hotaru.
Tsunade smiled at Hotaru "let me see your arm ok" Tsunade said and Hotaru nodded; Tsunade gently took her arm and looked at it "a displaced about three inches below the wrist; I'm going to have to set it and then splint it". "Once I do that I can heal it" Tsunade said and Utakata and Naruto nodded "Naruto, go get two long pieces of wood and come back here; I'm going to need your threads".
"Ok, I'll be right back" Naruto said as he got up and began to look around 'aw man, I just broke the poor girls arm; she may have attacked me but she didn't deserve that'. 'Oh man this sucks' Naruto thought.
3 hours later; Utakata's house: With Naruto, Tsunade, Hinata, Fubuki, Utakata and Hotaru
Naruto, Hinata, Fubuki and Utakata were all in the sitting area waiting for Tsunade and Hotaru to come out of the other room; as they waited Utakata was glaring daggers at Naruto for good reason.
Naruto was looking down at the floor awkwardly as he tried to not make eye contact 'ok… so he's not the friendliest guy in he world; but he hasn't tried to kill me yet' he thought; Naruto cleared his throat and spoke.
"So exploding bubbles; that's kind of cool, how do you do it" Naruto asked nervously.
"How about I show you and blow your head off" Utakata said and Naruto winced "I'm all Hotaru has and she wants to be a ninja; if her dream is destroyed because of a broken arm"; Utakata got up and got into Naruto's face. "I'll see to it that you pay… personally" Utakata said with anger and Naruto nervously chuckled.
'Oh man… I fucked up' Naruto thought.
"Please, Mr. Utakata; I can assure you that Naruto didn't mean to hurt her" Hinata said making Utakata look at her "Naruto may be a mercenary, but he's also a kind person; he would never hurt anyone out of malice". Utakata looked at Hinata and was about to speak when he heard a voice in his head.
"You'd be wise to listen to her" the Rokubi said in Utakata's mind "I can tell that her words are honest and heart felt; do not hate the boy for an honest mistake". Utakata sighed and sat back in his seat.
"Very well; I'll take your word on it" Utakata said making Hinata smile before turning back to Naruto "but I will not forget this that easily; and you must apologize to Hotaru".
"I will do that as soon as I see her" Naruto said.
"It's ok, I forgive you" Hotaru said coming out of a room with Tsunade and her arm wrapped in bandages but seemingly fixed "Lady Tsunade told me about you and I know that you are not a malicious person".
"Oh yeah what did she say" Naruto said and Hotaru spoke.
"That you are: slightly stupid, ill mannered, you curses a lot, are trouble maker, hard headed, possibly dyslexic and a polygamist" Hotaru said and Naruto got a tic mark and both Hinata and Fubuki chuckled and Utakata raised an eyebrow at the 'polygamist' part. "But you are also a well meaning, honest person who cared about others" Hotaru said and Naruto looked at Tsunade.
"You couldn't lead with those things first" Naruto said and Tsunade shrugged "ok screw it, lets just do what we came here to do"; both Hotaru and Tsunade nodded and walked over. Hotaru sat down next to Utakata while Tsunade sat next to Hinata "ok so here's the deal; Yagura is dead and gone, there is a new Mizukage named Mei Terumi in Kiri" Naruto said and Utakata nodded. "Our mission is to try and convince you to come back to Kiri and take up a position to become the villages Jinchuriki again" Naruto said and Utakata nodded.
"And why should I go back; I'm a deserter" Utakata said looking at Naruto "I abandoned the village because of what I was forced to do in the war; I don't want to be used like a weapon again". Naruto nodded and spoke.
"I know how you feel" Naruto said "I'm the Jinchuriki of the nine tails; I was treated like shit by my village and was seen as nothing more than a living weapon"; Hotaru hearing this was shocked but Utakata was unfazed.
"I knew you were a Jinchuriki; the Rokubi told me he sensed it inside you" Utakata said "there is nothing you can do that can surprise me".
Naruto chuckled at this and stood up "wanna bet" he said; Naruto took off his mask, jacket and his shirt revealing his face and body making both Utakata and Hotaru go wide eyed. "This… is the result of Konoha torturing me; for being friends with her" Naruto said as he pointed to Hinata; Hinata took off her helmet revealing the trademark eyes of the Hyuga clan.
"I'm Hinata Hyuga; former heiress of the Hyuga clan, I'm listed as M.I.A" Hinata said "Naruto was tortured for associating with me; my clansmen did that to him… when I found out he was alive I ran away with him".
"Her clan skinned me alive for hours" Naruto said as he sat back down "if you want to see something worse we can head into the next room; below the belt it looks even worse". "I was six when it happened" Naruto said and Hotaru was horrified.
Utakata was speechless at this; he knew Jinchuriki were despised, but to attack one, a child no less. Utakata clenched his fist at this as anger rose to the surface; before he could speak Hotaru spoke up.
"Oh my goodness" Hotaru said as she got up and gave Naruto a hug surprising Hinata and Fubuki "I'm sorry to hear that; it sounds so terrible". Naruto was wide eyed at how she just hugged him; a few hours ago he broke her arm and now she's hugging him, and to make it even more strange Naruto hasn't even put on his shirt yet.
Upon breaking the hug Hotaru spoke "I feel your pain Naruto" she said making Naruto raise and eyebrow; Hotaru turned around and opened her shirt and allowed it to drop enough to see her back. Naruto and company saw that there was an implant in middle of her back; it was like a purple sphere in the middle of her back with several veins going towards it "I was implanted this when I was younger; and I never wish to use it" she said.
"What the hell is that thing" Fubuki asked and Hotaru spoke.
"It's a weapon for a powerful jutsu; enough power to destroy an entire village" Hotaru said as she pulled her shirt back on and covered herself "and I never want it to fall in the wrong hands".
"I have been training her in how to become a ninja" Utakata said "so far she's about genin level but has no combat experience and has only sparred with me".
"Well you better get her up to speed; because we have something else to tell you" Fubuki said and both Utakata and Hotaru looked at the group in worry.
"There is a group called the Akatsuki; they are hunting down Biju and Jinchuriki" Naruto said dropping the bomb on Utakata "they are all S-rank ninja, they came after me a few weeks ago; killed one of my friends, Zabuza Momochi". Utakata hearing this went wide eyed.
"Zabuza… the Zabuza" Utakata said "he was the leader of Kiri's anbu and a master swordsman… he was killed". Naruto nodded at this and spoke.
"Yeah and we killed one in return; Itachi Uchiha" Naruto said and bot Utakata and Hotaru were floored hearing this. "Look, I'm not trying to scare you; but if you won't come back with me at least hear my warning" Naruto said "they are hunting you down; and these guys are strong as hell, it took an S-class ninja and another jinchuriki to take Itachi down".
"Really who" Utakata said and Tsunade spoke.
"Sasori of the red sand and Yugito Nii of Kumo" Tsunade said "I wasn't there for it but I saw the evidence; Itachi Uchiha is dead".
"Wait so you have another jinchuriki in your group" Hotaru asked and Naruto nodded.
"Yeah but not Yugito; she was trying to kill me for ruining her life" Naruto said making everyone sweat drop "her name is Fu, she's one of my girlfriends and the Jinchuriki of the seven tails".
Utakata hearing all this was at an impasse; he could either go back to Kiri and be a weapon again, or stay put and wait for the Akatsuki to come. He was trying to decide what was best for both him and Hotaru "I don't know-" he began until there was banging at the door.
"Lord Utakata; it's an emergency" came a voice; Naruto put his cloths and mask back on while Hinata put her helmet back on. Utakata ran over and opened the door revealing the vendor of the jewelry stand "oh thank god you're here" he said.
"HEY" Naruto shouted as he got to his feet and pointed "you lying sack for shit; you did know him, I should kick your ass"; Naruto began to march forward until Tsunade and Fubuki grabbed a hold of him.
"Naruto, shut up" Utakata shouted "what's going on".
"To the west, in Shimazu village; the renegades are back and raiding the village, there's maybe a hundred of them" the man said "they are killing, looting and raping; we need your help".
"Who are these 'renegades'" Tsunade said as she walked over.
"Hold outs from Yagura's army" Utakata said as he ran to his room and grabbed his bubble pipe and his ninja tools "these guys don't know that the war is over; they just go around robbing and hurting people". "Hotaru, with me; gather your gear" Utakata said and Hotaru nodded as she ran to her room; Utakata looked at Naruto and his group "I know I have no right to ask this; but please help me". "If you do I'll head back with you and speak to the Mizukage" Utakata said and Naruto nodded.
"I'm no stranger to getting my hands dirty" Naruto said as he took off his jacket and threw it on a seat "lets kill these fuckers; lead the way". Utakata nodded as Hotaru came back into the room with her kunai pouch and shuriken holster.
"Follow me" Utakata said as he, Naruto and the others all ran out of the house and headed west to help out the village in need.
