"You think we'll make friends at camo, bro. Since maybe they don't know about our dads or us or be mean to us like some of the kids at school." Timmy asked Tommy. It was a few nights after the last day of school but the brothers Nook were packing early for summer camp which impressed Tom as he was checking on them as they'd been quiet which had made him nervous only Tai had told him, to go check on them just in case knowing their excitement fir camp stunned they'd been packing making him secretly anxious aboht this idea even though Tai knew it would be goidfir the boys sighing.
"Hey daddy everything okay, you want help with the Cranny or with something.," Timmy asked. "Or wondering what we were doing as we're being quiet." Tommy added impressing Tom by this as he was shaking his head in reply.
"Nope I was just curious about what you were doing and yeah, I could use your help, before you go to camp." he told them seeing them nodding at him. "Sure daddy since you're being chill about us going to camp." Tommy told him unaware Tai was listening to this sighing as he was leading him downstairs so they could talk but he was making them tea which made Tom confused as they normally drank coffee seeing Tai shrug his shoulders at him.
"We're just trying something new, to help you relax since you run this island and take care of things. Please don't try to talk the boys oht of going to summer camp as they're excited about it, and excited about making new friends." Tai told him making Tom nod drinking tea as he was explaining his anxiety involving the boys and protective since he'd adopted them which Tai got placing a paw gently on his furry shoulder.
"What'll happen when our boys het old enough for follege and you are too anxious to let them go even if they really want to, offer them jobs at Nook Inc just so they'll stay on the island. I know you're protective of them only you have to let them try new things or they'll miss oht on cool things like summer camp." he told him seeing Tom thinking as he sipped tea guessibghis soulmate might be right.
"You have a pount honey, and ohr boys are excited. Inguess I can be okay with it." he said making Tai relieved to hear this hearing Tom's phone go off answering it as it was the summer intern at the Nook's Cranny needing help making him sigh hanging up seeing Timmy and Tommy there as they'd sensed something bothered their dad wanting to help as they helped run the store for him relieving Tom. "Something weird is going on at th3 store and freaking the intern oht." he told them exchanging a look knowing they could help making Tom smile as they were leaving the Nook house making Tai hope things were okay at the store knowing how much it meant to Tom taking deep-breaths excited to hear about it when they got back.
At the Nook's Cranny, they noticed the summer intern looked frazzled concerning Timmy and Tommy wondering what on the island was happening unaware it was a kid from theur class, Brock who was a pircupine kid surprising Tom but saw his boys exchanging a frown making Tom confused hearing Brock laugh at them saying they were crooks especially their dad which Tom sensed was one of the kids that were mean to his boys at school guessing Brock's dad encouraged this frowning saying he would talk ti his dad aboht this seeing him run off hearing Timmy and Tommy take deep-breaths.
"Yep, Brock's one of the kids who's mean to us. He's good at Gym but not good at the stuff that matters and sometimes, we have to help him." Timmy said seeing Tommy agreeing at what his brother had just said while helping their dad tidy up tge mess which Brock had caused relieving Tom along with the summer iintern who felt bad this had happened and had to get them. "It's fine as you didn't know what to do so askibg for help was a good idea. No bother to us at all." Tom tell her.
Tai was surprised that early evening hearing what had happened at the Nook's Cranny while he, Tom akong with Timmy and Tommy were having a cookout in the backyard or that itvwas one of Timmy and Tommy's classmates that had did it. "I hope nobody at camp is like Brock but we can handle it if that happens." Tommy told them.
"Don't worry boys, we know you can deal with bullies, even if they're at camp." Tai told them seeing them nodding eating and drinking soda hoping their dads were right and that Brock's dad was talking to him after what had happened earlier making Tom nod hoping so so the kid wouldn't do that again. A bit later, they were going back inside having hit cocoa before going tombed as they needed sleep especially Tom abd were going upstairs to their rooms.
