{Takamiya Stars Arc}

30th of May, 2010.

Today was the day Mio would appear. You may be wondering "what's my role in this?" Simple. To just simply watch over her like a guardian angel and watch for any DEM movements.

I would be walking around Tengu City in a casual outfit consisting of Levi 501 jeans with a sapphire blue t-shirt to blend in with the crowd while I waited for the spacialquake (or spatial quake, whatever one) to happen.

"If I remember rightly, Mio would make her entrance during the afternoon. Once the explosion goes off, I simply go to the source. I will make sure Mio and Shinji get their happy ending." I thought to myself as I explored the stalls in Tengu City.

A couple of hours would pass and I was standing ontop of one of the buildings as I waited for Mio to appear. I then saw the very man Mio would come to love.

Shinji Takamiya.

As I was about to watch Shinji for a bit..

*BANG.*

I quickly turned my head and saw that the spatial quake had started, quickly dawning my astral dress to protect myself from the effects of it. It was like experiencing a nuclear explosion, but just without the horrible fallout that comes with one.

"Well holy shit." I thought to myself as I now looked around at the damage that's been caused; it was substantial. Buildings were ripped out of their foundations, countless windows were destroyed, powerlines were damaged and you can probably imagine the rest.

As the smoke cleared, a light blue aura emitted from the centre of the crater the explosion had caused. Yep, you guessed it, this is the very girl that starts this series.

Mio Takamiya, the Spirit of Origin.

"That's Mio.. her power is rediculous.. Ain, Ain Soph and Ain Soph Aur.. 3 truely terrifying angels." I thought to myself as I then turned to Shinji, who walked up to Mio and putting his jacket over her to cover up her naked body. To see this with my own eyes only made my desire to keep these 2 from being seperated by life and death stronger.

Shinji then started to escort Mio back to his residence as I followed from up in the sky, using my reiryoku to have flight. As I kept watch for any DEM movement during the trip, I couldn't help but wonder to myself.

"Love.. the very thing that split my heart in 2, is the very thing I'm trying so hard to preserve for others.. guess I'm not as dark as I once thought I'd be. But.. even if I do find a partner again, it'll be a long time before I can completely open up." I clenched my chest as I thought that.

Shinji and Mio the arrived at the Takamiya residence, making their way inside the house as I then landed gently on their roof to be on guard duty. I took this opportunity to experiment with one my angel's abilities.

"Eon." I recited, causing a car nearby to be effected by an electro magnetic pulse or "EMP" for short, rendering it completely broken and useless.

"So "Eon" has the ability to jam electric devices... could be useful for helping Shinji and Mio escape from Westcott." I muttered to myself, somewhat happy with the discovery I made; I'm really starting to like Excelsus already.

As I was bathing in the sunlight, I'd hear Mana Takamiya, Shinji's sister enter the house from her kendo training.

"Alright, I think DEM isn't showing up for now. I shall get to the outskirts of the city to leave those 3 be." I thought to myself as I then took flight, heading to the outskirts of the city for the day.

A few days would pass since Mio appeared. It was now the day of the date between Shinji and Mio, meaning this is the day everything begins to change.

"Excelsus." I recited, making my katana appear.

"I'll have my angel on me at all times during this day. It's like I'm being a bodyguard for VIPs, and it makes sense, I am protecting most probably the 2 most important people in the Date A Live story." I thought as I dawned my spirit armor.

I then took flight and hovered high in the sky as I kept tabs on Shinji and Mio. I honestly found it beautiful to watch them act so innocent around each other. Neither of them have experienced love before and it was touching to see they were so understanding of one another.

I then tailed them as they made their way to the beach by train. I got to take in the scenary on the way and it made me realise that life's much more precious than what people make out to believe.

"Life's not a right, but a privilege... That's what my father told me before I passed. I'm now starting to get what he meant by what he said. Living isn't an entitlement, but rather, a reward for doing good for yourself and others." I thought to myself.

Shinji and Mio then arrived at the beach, taking off their shoes to go play in the ocean water. I don't know whether it was because of the connection between them or the simply the beauty of the scene unfolding, but my heart skipped a beat.

"Shinji and Mio... you're such innocent souls regardless that you're spirit and human.. mark my words, I'll make sure Westcott doesn't lay his filthy power lusting hands on you." I thought to myself as I watched them dance together in the water before they had their intimate moment.

We remained at the beach until the evening, Shinji and Mio having fun together and me being their guardian angel in the sky. Honestly, even if I was the 3rd wheel in all of this, I enjoyed just bathing in the sunlight and more importantly, I had something to fulfill.

I then tailed Mio and Shinji back to Tengu City. As I did, I spotted jet black cars with smoked out windows. I knew for a fact that those cars belonged to DEM, which meant it was time for me to spring into action.

I jumped among the tall buildings, looking down upon the city as Mio and Shinji began to run from the DEM agents and Westcott. The shouting from the DEM agents as they chased the couple were loud as hell, admittedly.

"I shall wait until they run into Westcott during dark. That way, my entrance will be valid." I thought, chasing after the 2 parties back and fourth until dark.

It eventually got dark, and I got ready to do my part. I saw Mio and Shinji run into Westcott and 2 of his lackeys. I then saw Shinji grab Mio and run away with her and that was the moment... that everything will change.

"So it would be way better to stay with me and shore up our position!" Shinji shouted before the gunshot was fired. In the series, Shinji would've died, but not here.

0.5 seconds before Westcott fired.

SLASH.

"What the...?" Shinji and Westcott said in unison.

I then appeared before everyone present, holding Excelsus. I stood Infront of the couple, protecting them.

"Wait... you're... like me..." Mio said in surprise.

"You two, there's no time. You need to run as far away from here as you can. Go, now!" I said with urgency.

"Right!" Shinji said, taking Mio's hand and they ran like their lives depended on it. I then telepathically communicated with Mio, since we were spirits.

"Can you hear me, Spirit of Origin?"

Mio: "Yes, I can. Thank you for helping us. Once this is over, come and meet us."

"I'm going to make the place go completely dark, make sure you and the boy get out safely before the backup power goes up."

Mio: "Okay! Me and Shin will try and get to the outskirts. We'll meet there and head outside of the city together.

"Sounds like a plan."

"How dare you! She is MINE and MINE alone!" Westcott said angrily.

"I don't think so. She belongs to Shin, body and soul. Now, time for you to suffer." I said, before holding my katana up.

"Eon." I recited, putting a lot of reiryoku into it which causes a massive EMP across the entire city, making the city fall into darkness.

"What the?!" Westcott cried.

"What's going on?!" An agent exclaimed.

"I can't see shit!" Another agent screamed.

"Our cars aren't working!" Another agent preached.

"You DEM scumbags can suffer for a while. I shall take my leave." I said before disappearing from the scene to the rendezvous with Mio and Shinji.

I then got to the outskirts where Mio and Shinji were waiting. I landed Infront of them, tucking away Excelsus.

"Sir, thank you for saving my life and saving Mio from those guys. It truely means a lot." Shinji said with gratitude.

I smiled at his words, happy with the outcome.

"What's your name, boy?" I asked.

"Shinji Takamiya. This here is Mio Takamiya, a girl me and my sister took in. Speaking of my sister... those people in suits have her in their hands." Shinji said cheerfully before it turned melancholic in the second half of the sentence.

"I know.. and there's nothing we can do about it. If I would of known your sister was in trouble, I would've helped her before I came to the scene." I said with a melancholic expression.

"It's not your fault. After all, you saved me and Mio. Now, tell us about yourself." Shinji said a smile.

"My name.. is Scara Tojo. I'm a spirit, just like Mio here." I said with a straight face.

"So you are like me.." Mio chimed.

"So I'm in the presence of 2 people that have powers.. anyways, that aside, who were those people that tried to take Mio?" Shinji asked with conviction.

"Those guys work for D.E.M or 'Deus Ex Machina Industries.' Their goal is to utilise spirit power for themselves to wreck havoc on the world, hence why Mio exists...well, until now." I said assertively.

"So those guys made Mio exist just to experiment on her?! Unforgiveable!!" Shinji exclaimed.

"Shin... thank you." Mio said gently.

"Mio?" Shinji asked, tilting his head.

"You have given me so many precious things.. and helped me learn how to live like you.. and there's also.. the fact you taught me how to favour someone romantically." Mio said, smiling at Shinji with a blush.

"Shinji, Mio. Things are going to get difficult for a while. DEM will be hunting us like we're worldwide criminals. So we will have to be evasive with how we live our lives for now." I said assertively and calmly.

"I have an idea Scara... I could create a home in an alternate space for all 3 of us and you go and grab any necessities we need.." Mio suggested.

"Sounds good to me. Oh, and Mio?" I said with curiosity.

"Yeah?" Mio asked, tilting her head.

"Make sure you and Shinji live happily together." I said with a smile. I must of landed a critical hit because both Shinji and Mio blushed HARD.

"I've been thinking about asking Mio to be my girlfriend.. but I didn't know how to say it." Shinji added.

"Shin... I want to be with you, forever and ever. I love you.." Mio said with conviction, a heavy blush appearing on her face.

"Me too Mio.. I love you too.." Shinji replied with the same conviction as Mio.

I smiled at the scene unfolding before my eyes. I really did just help these 2 get together and not lose each other. Mio and Shinji hugged each other tightly for a bit.

"Alright, should we get to our new home? We don't have much time before the backup power kicks in." I said assertively.

"Leave it to me." Mio said, now putting us in critical space, constructing a house for all 3 of us to live in.

"Woah! Your powers are so cool Mio!" Shinji said in excitement.

It wouldn't even be 3 minutes before the construction was complete. We then all headed inside, taking it in and checking out our rooms.

Shinji then cooked us some dinner, making curry and rice. He should be a chef cause his cooking was spectacular.

"Yummy!" Mio cried out in pleasure.

"This is actually so good.." I preached.

"Thank you guys!" Shinji exclaimed happily.

"Now.. I should probably say that I'm a vigilante spirit. Which means I fight for what I believe is right. But.. I'll pledge my katanas to you two." I said with conviction.

Mio looked at me approvingly, nodding before saying:

"We'd love for you to be our friend, Scara."

I looked at Mio with a smile.

"If you two end up in any kind of trouble, I'll come to your aid." I said with conviction as they both nodded at me, smiling at me.

We then finished dinner and headed up to our rooms to sleep for the night after a long day.

A/N: The chain of events have been set in motion! Shinji and Mio have been saved from Westcott by Scara. Scara, Shinji and Mio all become close with each other, especially Mio and Shinji who have ended up as a couple! WOOO!

Now, there WILL be a lot of time skips in this fanfic, simply because of the amount of PLOT I want to include. I wanna go ALL the way to where Westcott dies in the final battle.
