BAZ

Dylan seems happier today when I see him at breakfast. When he sees the bacon and toast I've laid out for him his eyes light up. Snow's never looked at me like that. Why would he when he's got Wellbelove? But Dylan? Dylan is new here. He's got nobody. Probably. What if he's got himself a bloke back in America? He might. It's very possible. Someone this cute and smart is a rare find. And to expect someone like that to be single? I'd be mad.

Dylan sits down and smiles at me. One of his front teeth is chipped.

"Hey, Baz. Dev. Niall," he nods at each of us.

Dev and Niall look between each other, then back at Dylan. "Morning, Dylan. What's got you so chipper today?" Dev asks.

"Found out something awesome last night. Then decided to grace my roommate with my presence and we actually had a nice conversation." Dylan smiles down at his bacon. "And I got three friends who already know what I like to eat."

"Pfft," Niall goes. "Like it's that hard. You've eaten bacon and toast every day since you got here. We'd do the same for Baz if he ever ate in front of anyone."

Dylan laughs. It's a beautiful sound. He throws his head back into it, and laughs so hard he snorts. That gets the rest of us laughing. Heaven's snakes I am weak for this man.

"So, what's the good news you heard?" Niall asks.

Dylan sits up straight and looks around, as if he's trying to make sure nobody around us is listening. "It's a secret. C'm'ere and I'll tell you." He beckons and Niall complies. Dylan cups his hand around Niall's ear and whispers something to him. Niall's eyes go wide. Jealousy stabs at my undead heart. I want him to whisper to me like that. He doesn't. He just sits back with this pleased expression on his face like the barmy bastard he is.

Niall sits back down with wide eyes. "You're mad, you know that?" He asks Dylan.

"I know," Dylan winks at him. Fuck. Me.
