And so there came a day like no other. When the very fabric of three universes began to unravel and collide. And yet the cause of this disastrous occurrence was not a natural one. Rather, it was the result of a most unholy alliance, as villains from those three very different worlds united with an eye on conquering them all. Their vile scheme would throw all realities into chaos, by meddling with forces they could not even possibly comprehend. By manipulating the powers of infinity, they have created the Crossverse. A subsection of the multiverse that is supported by the Universe Tree. The roots and branches of the tree each connect a different dimension: The Sol Dimension. The World of Awakening. Skyworld. The Versus Earth. The Makai Kingdom. An Azure Earth. And finally, a newly-born and mysterious Unified World.

Beyond the ancient Mystic Ruins, there lies a massive metropolitan area trapped in the shadows underneath an ominous dark thunderstorm. This city heavily resembles New York City, yet changed in a way that is too unbelievable to describe. Thunder keeps roaring before lightning illuminates the grim skies if for a moment. One lightning strike happens near a skyscraper to reveal the Amazing Spider-Man lying on its rooftop. Motionless. Paralyzed. In a state between life and death with an eye-twitching face that is left too stunned in trying to comprehend what just happened to him. He sees a vision of a man offering his hand, wanting to help him stand up. The vision is blurry yet he senses the man is familial. An uncle that he lost long ago to an irresponsibility. Just seeing him gives Spidey strength to reach out with his own hand. But it wasn't enough, as Spidey whispers, "No…", before his arm collapse and the vision disappear from his sombering sights.

The body feels weird and sluggish as Spider-Man persists through it all to stand up with his own strength. He regains access to his suit's communication system, quickly using it to contact anyone that he can reach and might be in worse shape than him, "Spider-Man to Dimensional Avengers…To ANYONE! Are you okay…What's happening…?"

But amidst his struggles is trouble forming across from his position on the same rooftop. A pack of Beowolves, Creatures of Grimm, have their monstrous sights on the weakened wallcrawler. Led by an Alpha Beowolf that claws the air several times before unleashing a demonic, "RRWWAAAAAAAAAWWWR!", to the illuminating lightning storm.

"Cuz things are looking Grimm from where I'm standing…" Spider-Man panted, weak but still strong-willed enough to confront the monsters with jokes and glares that's ready for a dimensional showdown.

"Bout time you're awake! Things have gotten VERY CRAZY while you took a snooze!" Sonic the Hedgehog quipped through the comms while being pursued by jetpack-wearing AIM Agents that literally showed up out of nowhere. Their high-speed chase takes them all across Speed Highway Zone, now apart of this merged city instead of Station Square. All the tall skyscrapers they zoom past are connected by a massive intertwining network of roads that Sonic uses to his advantage to stay ahead of the scientists raining laserfire on the highways. One AIM Agent fires a large beam that the cool hedgehog counters with a massive backflip that leads into a Homing Attack chain that knocks out all but two goons, with Sonic riding one to crash into the other. As the speedster skydives with a smile, he is ambushed by a brutish AIM Monstrosity that erupts from the side of a building to grab and smash the hedgehog through a Chao in Space billboard.

That same rooftop with the broken billboard is where Ruby Rose is walking around after awakening in this new world. She sees herself alone but can't shake the feeling that she isn't. Her gut instinct saved her life from a shuriken thrown by one of several intimidating ninjas from Iron Queen's army. "Whoa!" Ruby exclaimed, quick to defend herself from their ninja weaponry with her Crescent Rose. Her scythe deflects swords and sais and slices through nunchucks, swiftly tapping into her Petal Burst Semblance to evade bo staffs while saying through the comms, "Mobian ninja people?! Can SOMEONE tell me what's going on 'cause I have never been so lost in my life!"

'Sounds like you're fighting the Iron Dominion! What are they doing on Earth? We ARE still on Earth, right?' Sonic responded, just as the cornered Ruby stands determined to defeat the Iron Dominion ninjas herself.

"Not important now!" Lucina retorted from somewhere else in the city, in the midst of locking her Parallel Falchion sword with an E-1000's arm cannon near the From Dust Till Dawn shop. She is assisted by Mega Man X and his trusty Buster that blasts the Badnik away to give themselves room alongside Pit, as all three Dimensional Avengers found themselves fighting against a threatening horde of E-1000s. "Focus in routing the enemy!" Lucina ordered her friends.

The Badnik Horde launch a relentless laserfire assault that Pit fends off with his own hail of explosive steel bullets from his Bullet Blade while X and Lucina find cover behind a car. "Mavericks everywhere!" X grunted whilst equipping himself with his Ground Hunter special weapon, firing a stingray drone that slides under the car to surprise several badniks with its explosion. Swiftly followed up by Lucina crashing down onto enemies with a spinning sword slam and shredding more of them with her Dancing Blade technique in a blink of an eye.

More E-1000s come to surround the back-to-back trio, prompting the confident Pit to equip his Samurai Blade and declare, "They're surrounding us! Let's combo 'em!", before both he and Lucina blitz into hyperfast dashing slashes that are assisted by X's charged Tri-Thunder that utterly decimate the Badnik Horde. At the same time, Sonic is still being hunted by AIM forces that are getting closer than ever into blasting him to kingdom come. He strikes a sharp turn with enough speed to conjure a turbulence that finally blows them away. And humorously Lucina's group when he didn't realize they were nearby, causing them to crash into different parts of the merged environment.

"Warn us next time!" X angrily scolded the reckless hedgehog.

"Sorry!" Sonic smiled sheepishly, before knocking that AIM Monstrosity higher into the air with a Spin Dash. "Rubes, here's a warning!" He shouted as he sent that brute to where Ruby is holding her own against the Iron Dominion.

The Red Huntress blows back the ninjas with a mighty swing of her scythe right before hitting the flunged AIM brute with a backflip axe kick that sends him into eating concrete. The citywide battle is starting to calm, but not the storm as Ruby takes a worrisome moment to comment with a frown, "It's getting bad. Spidey, how're you holding up?"

Across the city on a rooftop, underneath the increasingly terrible lightning storm, is Spider-Man flipping away from the ravenous Beowolf pack. One by one he dodges their lunges with graceful style, quipping to the huntress, "Through stress and angst and questions on why the universe has it out for me! So, the usual way how I live my life.", before webbing one Grimm to rodeo onto and destroy the others. But suddenly the Alpha Beowolf grabs ahold of him for a ferocious headbutt that sends the webslinger rolling across the roof, angering him into scowling, "That's it!" The Alpha goes for a roaring lunge just as Peter taps into his Battle Focus Semblance, blocking its claw strike with an arm shrouded by scarlet energy. With his great power heightened for just one attack, Spidey unleashes it through a jaw-breaking uppercut on the Alpha Beowolf, exclaiming, "PLAY DEAD!", before launching the beast high into the air as it dissipates into nothing.

At a glance this battle looks to have been won by the Dimensional Avengers. But judging from the concerned stares at the storm from both Sonic and Ruby, this is far from over. The lightning bolts are starting to harm the city. Streets are struck and buildings burst into flames. Countless civilians are panicking away from all the chaos reinforced by the disastrous actions of AIM, the Iron Dominion, the Badniks, and the Grimm. "This can't be real…" Spidey muttered in horror from his rooftop, asking himself, "How did everything get so bad so fast?" The Webslinger is so distracted by the chaos that he failed to notice a Manticore Grimm ready to ambush his behind. It would've got the drop on him, if its head wasn't decapitated by the sudden cross slash from his two friends from two different worlds: Sally Acorn of Mobius and Qrow Branwen of Remnant.

"That was a close call. Are you okay, Spider-Man?" Sally asked her old friend from Earth.

Surprised by their sudden appearance, Spidey retorts, "Sally?! And Qrow? I-I'm fine, thanks, but…What are you doing here?"

"We've been asking ourselves the same question." Qrow quipped, scratching his feathery hair and saying, "One minute we were hanging out with friends in our own worlds, then next thing we knew we're in the middle of a warzone. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that?"

"Not really. I was just having fun at the Unity Festival. I think I do remember two planets about to crash into mine. Think those were yours somehow." Spidey answered.

"Is this the Incursions again?" Qrow frowned.

"If that was the case, we'd all be dead." Sally refuted. "This is something else entirely. We need to coordinate, manage this crisis and get some answers." She said to them.

"Let's start by saving the city. There're people caught in the crossfire. AIM, the ninjas, and the Badniks shouldn't be an issue compared to the Grimm. They'll keep running rampant as long as there's negativity in the air." Spidey suggested.

"Good idea. Some of Beacon's huntsmen and my Freedom Fighters are here to help. You lead search and rescue while I help in keeping enemies off your back. Qrow and the other huntsmen will focus on the Grimm as they're the most experienced against them." Sally ordered.

"Got it." Spidey acknowledged.

"Let's not waste any more time." Qrow retorted, joining his two otherworldly allies in leaping off the rooftop to continue their efforts in saving this merged city.

Elsewhere…

There is a mansion that is home for gifted youngsters that humanity despises as mutants. This species is born with a special gene that grants them access to superhuman abilities. Some that are harmless, while others are a dangerous threat to the entire world unless they can be mastered. That is the purpose of this institute, to train young mutants in controlling their powers. And there is one young man that has come a long way to control his own devilish gene.

This man is quiet yet a prodigy in martial arts. Prefers flames and solitude while in his room dressing himself for his next battle. While his eyes are focused in changing, his ears does pay attention to the emergency news being talked about by a female newscaster on television, '…Truly shocking reports from Manhattan. We have J.J. Jameson in the studio today to make an important announcement about the incident in Manhattan. Mr. Jameson?'

Joining the broadcast is the loudmouthed Publisher of the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson, as he furiously slams his hand on his desk ranting, 'A.I.M. putting civilians in danger?! Demon animals rampaging on the streets?! And now reports are coming in that some "Iron Queen" controlling a whole pack of robots and ninjas has been spotted in the vicinity! It's almost as if all of them are working together! But who's to blame for this outburst in criminal activity? That menacing Spider-Man and his costumed friends, of course! But where are these "Heroes" now? Nowhere, that's where! If these "Heroes" don't clean up their mess RIGHT NOW, the Daily Bugle will be putting out a reward for the apprehension of any costumed vigilantes who are brought to us alive!'

'You heard it here first, folks. If the Heroes don't intervene soon, the Daily Bugle will-.' The Newscaster was then silenced by nothing but the martial artist's disinterest as he has heard enough. The mystery student returns his full attention back to his unique outfit that was started by him wearing dark gray pants. The blackish-gray hoodie he wears sports black and red flame designs on the hood. He then puts on the finishing touches in the form of shoulder-length red gauntlets that has a golden devil mark on one of them. His fated outfit is complete, expressed as his clenched right fist discharges red electricity.

While the young man contemplates his fist, he is visited by an X-Man. The best mutant there is, Wolverine. "C'mon, kid! The Professor wants us all in the city! It's gettin' bad out there! A good time as any to test your new control over that power." Wolverine told his guest.

"Agreed." The martial artist acknowledged. "I felt a strange change in the atmosphere. We need to figure out what caused it and stop it at the source. Time to teach our enemies the meaning of fear." Declared by the Fatal Lightning himself, Jin Kazama. Head of the Mishima Zaibatsu that has come from another Earth with the devilish power to manifest tattoos and a third eye on his face.

Back in the Unified City…

BGM-Super Smash Bros. Brawl OST-Menu (Super Smash Bros. Melee)

The fusion chaos is still endangering everything and everyone everywhere. Part of a building broke apart and causes several civilians to fall screaming. Lucky for them, dimensional heroes Dark Pit and Bunnie Rabbot fly to their rescue, which they do by grabbing a person and the slab with other civilians on it respectively.

The Dimensional Avengers. The Freedom Fighters. Team Scarlet JNPR. Huntsmen. Lucina's New Shepherds. All of them are here, united by their mutual goal of aiding citizens and putting a stop to the villains spreading this chaos. A police officer was caught in a chokehold by an AIM Monstrosity until Knuckles the Echidna delivers a flying punch to his disgusting face, followed up by Scarlet Spider webbing the brute, to make it easier for Nora Valkyrie to hammer him into the back of a police truck as if she was playing golf. Fires are burning everything, including skyscrapers that leave civilians trapped and terrified for their lives. The Goddess Palutena comes to their aid with the Power of Maelstrom, raining water to douse the flames so Divine Dragon Tiki could fly the people down to safety. Both Grimm and Badniks are on a rampage and would've kept making a mess if they were suddenly suspended in midair by Glynda Goodwitch's Telekinesis Semblance, allowing comrades like Weiss, Blaze, and Owain to bas them into submission.

"MAYDAY MAYDAY! WE'RE GOING DOWN!" A Helicopter Pilot screamed for his life while his damaged vehicle is on the verge of crashing into a populated area.

In spectacular fashion, Spider-Man zips in to grab and swing the pilot to safety. He then shouts, "Catch, Big!", and leaves the helicopter to be caught by the Feline Freedom Fighter.

"Hummingbird, who else needs help?" Jaune Arc asked the nearby Aracely in her superhero identity.

"Over there and over there and over there! Everywhere! So many people are freaking out it's hurting my head!" Hummingbird retorted in distress, floating in the air and using her telepathy to help in coordinating rescue efforts.

"Calm down. Deep breaths. One at a time. Just point us in the direction of those that needs help the most." Sally advised her.

"Okay!" Hummingbird complied.

Ordinary people like Mary Jane are also playing a role in rescue efforts, guiding people to safe zones while her superpowered friends protects them. "This way to Brooklyn Bridge, people! Hurry and remain calm!" MJ shouted at the fleeing citizens. One mobian male is spotted by her about to be taken to the skies by a Nevermore Grimm. MJ thinks quick and grabs a nearby gun, using it to shoot the Grimm enough into forcing it to let go of its hostage. The Grimm screeches while flying to kill the brave redhead, who ducks in time for Ling Xiaoyu to smash her foot in its skullface with a flying kick.

"Nice timing." MJ smiled at the otherworldly Chinese martial artist.

"You were awesome back there yourself." Xiaoyu smiled back with an additional thumbs up, complimenting her bravery.

"I don't recall this many mobians and faunus in New York." said Lie Ren, working alongside Tails and Rotor the Walrus to fend off multiversal enemies.

"City's looking a bit like Station Square to me." Rotor noticed, still oblivious to the dimensional fusion.

"This is definitely the result of some dimensional anomaly. Dr. Light, can you look into it?" Tails asked the Dimensional Avengers' A.I. navigator.

'Acknowledged. Nicole of the Freedom Fighters is also here to help.' Dr. Light responded.

'We'll get back to you once we finish analyzing the dimensional data. I've never seen anything like this before.' said Nicole the Holo-Lynx, the A.I. member of the Freedom Fighters.

'How did you and your team ruin the universe THIS week, Spider-Man?' Scarlet Spider blamed through the comms, in the midst of Jaune and Pyrrha Nikos beating on AIM Agents.

'Don't be a Jameson and blame us for this. I don't know what happened! You knew better than to come to New York any day of the week.' Spider-Man quipped.

'I knew that! Arc's team are the idiots that dragged me here!' Scarlet retorted angrily.

"Yeah, we were idiots." Jaune acknowledged, pushing back an AIM Agent with a shield bash.

"Not the time for 'I told you so's', Scarlet! Focus in saving the city!" Pyrrha scolded, following up her leader's shield bash with a flippy sword slash that knocks out the scientist.

The united heroes' efforts are starting to make headway through this chaotic nightmare. As Spider-Man swings around looking for anyone else that needs help, his best friend Harry Osborn calls him out for assistance lifting massive debris that has people trapped underneath, "SPIDEY! Need a little help here! Goblin strength ain't enough!"

The Webslinger zips to his side to combine their superhuman strength to lift the debris and save the civilians, including their fellow classmates, Flash Thompson and Liz Allan. "Spidey! Yeah! Knew you'd come to the rescue!" Flash happily cheered at his favorite superhero.

"Harry! So happy to see you're okay! Everyone thought you were dead. We didn't know you were sick in Europe." Liz exclaimed whilst happily hugging the former Green Goblin, who lied about his death upon his recent resurrection.

"Well I, uh, do feel dead on the inside. I put together the Unity Festival so we could have the best day ever before school. Then this happened and so many people got hurt…" Harry frowned, after being a bit flustered by her affection.

"Don't do that to yourself, Harry. No one saw this coming." Liz retorted.

"She's right. You had everyone's best interest at heart. Don't be ashamed of that. We'll get through this together." Spider-Man assured his best friend.

"Okay. I'll do my best to help in any way I can." Harry nodded with renewed resolve.

"Same here!" Flash declared, just as determined to help Spidey save the city.

"Spidey! Come up here! Ya seein' this?" Bunnie shouted at him from a nearby rooftop, wanting to show him something worrisome.

Spidey then web-zips to the rabbit's location so he can sigh in slight shock at what they're staring at. "As if this day couldn't get any worse…" He joked, as a giant, six-legged war machine sporting AIM's colors is devastating the merged city with its lasers from afar. "That's one of AIM's new Warbots." He recognized the massive robot.

"Who are they again?" Bunnie asked.

"Your typical group of scientists that want to conquer the world. Was only two days ago when I shut down their dimension tech. Were there backups I missed? Whatever the case, AIM MUST know what's causing this mess." Spidey replied, suspecting AIM to be the cause of this dimensional disaster.

"Let's get answers by wreckin' their lil' wrecking machine." Bunnie expressed.

BGM-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge OST-Clash of the Outcasts

Suddenly, immediate danger triggers Spidey's Spider-Sense and causes him to shout, "LOOK OUT!", while tackling Bunnie away from mystic bolts from a familiar foe from her world. That enemy being the crimson-dressed Iron Queen, hovering above the duo with her magitek controlling her technological boots.

"You peasants won't be going anywhere!" The smirking Iron Queen taunted them.

"Iron Queen! Forgot we were fightin' here." Bunnie scowled whilst confronting the human witch.

"I don't even remember meeting her." Spider-Man quipped.

"So you're the Spider-Man that rivaled Sonic in that racing tournament. I am Regina Ferrum, the Iron Queen! Ruler of the Dragon Kingdom and the Iron Dominion!" Iron Queen introduced herself to her newest enemy.

"That's great. Can you go to jail now? We're in the middle of dealing with a crisis." Spidey snarked, annoying her by not taking her seriously.

"I can see that. I don't know how I crossed to this world…" Iron Queen said, whilst turning her interested smile toward the AIM Warbot in the distance. "But that machine looks to be my ticket into ruling it." She announced her intentions to conquer this new world by flying to conquer the Warbot first.

"Gonna need a permit for that!" Spidey quipped, swinging alongside Bunnie's flying as they chase down the witch.

Iron Queen is proving to be pretty speedy and staying ahead of the two heroes pursuing her over the streets. They cut corners and travel over flames and bridges until the techno witch fires a powerful ice beam from her staff. The heroes dodged it, annoying her into using her magic to take control of Bunnie's cybernetics and force her to fire lasers at her spider-friend. "Watch where ya firing that thing!" Spidey grunted after being struck by her attack.

"It's not me, it's her! She can use technomancy to control tech!" Bunnie retorted, struggling to fight against Regina's control.

"Really? That's so cool!" Spidey commented.

"SPIDEY!" Bunnie shouted angrily, while her out-of-control laser nearly decapitates him.

"Right! Sorry! Habit!" Spidey responded.

"Your technology is not safe from me either, insect." Regina smirked, using her magic on Spidey's Advanced Suit and force it to electrocute him into paralysis, "Oooh, such impressive technology. This new world has so much promise."

"I'm flattered!" Spidey quipped, right before the controlled Bunnie uppercuts him out of the sky. As he falls to his doom, he finds Beacon Headmaster Ozpin in the middle of evacuating civilians from the area and gets his attention by screaming, "Professor! Could use some help!"

"This should be enough." Ozpin responded, tapping into his own magic to temporarily create an energy barrier for Spidey that dispels Regina's magic.

"Thank you!" Spidey retorted, regaining control of his suit to continue his web-swinging pursuit of Iron Queen.

"My magic was nullified? How can that be?" Iron Queen exclaimed in shock.

"Thank the Wizard of Oz!" quipped Spidey, landing a Web-Strike strong enough to break her hold over Bunnie's cybernetics.

Reaching her limit, Iron Queen flies up a skyscraper to a position to land a seemingly surprise mystic beam at Spider-Man. She laughs while assaulting his smoke cloud with numerous mystic bolts, only to sense too late of Bunnie appearing beside her with a morphed arm cannon that stuns her for the unscathed Spidey to blitz her with a flying double kick that sends the queen flying to a nearby rooftop.

"Curse you, Spider-Man! If you had just behaved, I would have allowed you membership in the Gossamer Clan." Iron Queen grunted, weak on her knees while refusing to admit defeat.

"As awesome as being a ninja would be, I'm at home being a crimefighter. Gives me the chance to dethrone wrinkly royal hags." Spidey quipped, upon Bunnie and him confronting her on the rooftop.

"I am NOT that old!" Iron Queen snapped back.

However, while they are distracted, a new foe joins this citywide battle against the heroes. He snuck onto the rooftop possessing a sword empowered by his Moonslice Semblance, causing his hair, mask, and markings on his attire to glow red. In a blink of an eye, he fires off a large sword blast that knocks down both Spidey and Bunnie. Spidey tries standing up only for his chest to be stomped and pinned down by a bullheaded enemy he fought in the past. "You really should show your superiors more respect…" taunted Adam Taurus, the raging renegade that desires absolute control over the White Fang.

"Ugh…goody. The first ex-boyfriend." Spidey quipped, also recalling him as Blake's first love.

Iron Queen doesn't know about Adam nor does she care. At the very least, she appreciates his intervention so she can continue flying off to conquer the Warbot. Likewise, Taurus couldn't care about her intentions. He just wants revenge on the superhero that embarrassed him too many times in their shared history. He prepares to stab Spidey. But in a flash, he finds his blade clashing with Blake's, having arrived to save Peter by pushing Adam away from him. "Adam." Blake scowled at her old villainous partner.

"Blake. It's you. This day just keeps getting surprising." Adam remarked with a taunting smile, kicking her away and forcing her to retreat across the city. "Running away as usual. You haven't changed a bit." He insulted before giving chase. Which was part of Blake's plan so Spidey and Bunnie can recover.

The heated reunions between old partners takes them across many rooftops. Their fight is intense, caused by Adam's ferocious attempts to land fatal strikes on Blake as she diverts his attacks and uses her Shadow Semblance to leave clones and avoid hits at the last second. As she locks blades with Adam, she glances at Iron Queen reaching the Warbot and begin using her magitek to turn its control over to her, almost giving her rival the opportunity of striking her down.

"Leave me alone!" shouted Blake, switching her Gambol Shroud in its kusarigama form and throwing it to swing from building to building as her foe gives chase.

"Why, when the universe wants us together? It is the only reason why the worlds collided. Our fates are forever intertwined." Adam claimed, launching his Wilt sword to shoot down Gambol Shroud midair, throwing her off.

"You're delusional!" Blake retorted.

Adam had then leapt into the air to try and strike her down. But this time, he is intercepted at the last second by X and his flaming, "SHORYUKEN!", who swiftly grabs and throws Blake so she may crash their enemy through the window of a skyscraper with a fierce diving kick. "You okay?" X asked his fellow dimensional teammate.

"I'm fine. Forget about Adam! We need to stop Iron Queen from controlling that Warbot!" Blake urged, now joined by X as they continue their retreat from the irritated Taurus.

"Stop running!" Taurus shouted before continuing his chase of them. "No matter how many friends you make, you'll just remain a cowardice huntress that will never change the world!" He taunted Blake whilst targeting his enemies with his Blush rifle.

"You're just like Vile! Allowing hatred to consume you! The entire city is in chaos! This is not the time to fight!" X pleads with him to surrender, with himself leaping and Blake swinging with incredible efforts to evade his explosive shots.

As a new mysterious mercenary enters the battlefield, Taurus's rage is getting the better of him. He fires off more Moonslice blasts in midair that are seconds away from striking X mid-jump. But teamwork makes the dreamwork as the swinging Blake intercepts by catching and throwing him above the attacks, allowing the Maverick Hunter to hit their pursuer with an explosive Charge Shot. That did little to derail Taurus, who rockets out of the smoke scowling, "Fools! Haven't you realized it yet? It's too late to save anyone!", with a cryptic tone.

"Never. As long as we never give up." Blake argued determinedly.

BGM End

X and Blake look to be close in escaping Taurus's sights for good. They leap across the air together to the ruined site of the World Unity Festival. And just when they're about to be in the clear, they cross the sights of that mysterious mercenary on the rooftop beside them. A dangerous man with a skull mask and a crossbones insignia painted on his chest armor. It's Crossbones, Earth's Deadliest Mercenary. And just as the heroes' eyes widen in shock at his sudden appearance, they are blasted far over the streets by his energy cannon.

"Bullseye." Crossbones said coldly.

BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite OST-Theme of Venom

Taurus express little gratitude to the human that assisted him, but he does laugh at the opportunity to finally finish Blake off. His taunting is immediately silenced when a scarlet blur flies past him with enough frightening force to blow him away. Whatever that blur is, it caught both X and Blake as seamlessly as it throwing them onto a web-net of its own making before rocketing for Taurus. Adam sees it coming as a demonic Spider-Man shadowed in menacing flames, with his gasp interrupted by him grabbing his mask and dashing toward the roof where Crossbones is positioned at. From a single web-zip he smashes the faunus onto the mercenary, burrowing both through the skyscraper with ferocious savagery as it collapses atop of them. The savage spider backdashes away from the collapsing building, just as his rescuees recover for him to tell Blake, "Belladonna! Are you alright?"

One look at the scarlet-colored rescuer and Blake responds with smiling relief, "Scarlet Spider!"

The grim Spider-Clone, Scarlet Spider, has joined the battle. Using his cold eyes to glare at the two villains liberating themselves from the rubble with Adam's Semblance. "Was in a Mobian prison for a minute and I find myself here fighting a weirder spider." Crossbones grunted, revealing where he has been since his arrest during the Spider-Virus incident.

"So the dimensional distortions even brought back Crossbones…" Blake noted, grunting as she's still in pain from that earlier ambush.

"Keep an eye on her. I'll handle these punks." Scarlet Spider ordered X, wanting to fight both Adam and Crossbones alone.

"'Handle us'? You may have beaten me in the Grand Prix, bug, but you're mistaken if you think you can beat me in an actual fight." Taurus taunted, recalling his defeat by Scarlet's hands during the DX Multiversal Grand Prix.

Then in a startling instant, Scarlet appears between the villains with the spine-chilling declaration, "I KNOW I can destroy you!" He ruthlessly kicks Crossbones out of his sights before vanishing right before Adam's slash connects. He reappears in the air where the faunus quickly follows to strike him down, only for the clone to recover whilst bouncing off a building to land and counter Taurus's blitzing slash with a brutal punch that sends him flying. A Web-Strike is followed up and misses Adam, who would've decapitated Scarlet with a downward slash if he didn't back away in time.

"I warned you what would happen if you went after the cat." Scarlet reminds him of the threat he made to him during the Grand Prix. A threat he has every intention to carry out by web-throwing a car at his rival. Adam cuts it in half and believes himself of having the advantage when he senses Kaine appear behind him, only to be caught off-guard completely when he suddenly moved to his front to knock him high into the sky with a vicious uppercut. Then he taps into his first X-Semblance power, his Hellweb, to infuse this next attack with the flames of hell itself. "I don't share Spider-Man's taste for mercy. I'm sending you straight to hell!" Scarlet rises into the air by ricocheting between buildings at lightning-fast speeds to use his Maximum Spider technique on Taurus, ensnaring him in a series of webs before his furiously flaming dropkick sends him rocketing past the recovered Crossbones.

"Eat lead, Spider-Freak!" Crossbones taunted, firing his assault rifle at the unfriendly webslinger.

Scarlet easily evades all of his bullets before appearing behind Crossbones for an attack. But the mercenary nearly surprises him with his second rifle that would've land a headshot if the anti-hero didn't slide under him. In the instant he got up, he is forced to pop his wrist stingers to parry a sudden Adam's spinning slash right before Crossbones lands a painful roundhouse kick that knocks the clone onto the building. Their double team caught him by surprise but it won't anymore. Not after his webbing reflects Crossbones's grenade to knock him back so his flaming fury can solely focus on Taurus. Four organic spider-limbs erupt from his back thanks to the other half of his X-Semblance, his Spider-Out, before infusing them and his stingers with his hellfire. Kaine then rockets forward with the intent to kill Adam. Likewise, Adam taps into his Semblance to create afterimages to counter Scarlet's power with a unified energy slash. Both angry men roared at each other right before their clash ends in an intensely explosive stalemate, knocking both away from each other.

"Such a monster…How can Blake tolerate you but not me?" Taurus snarled with jealously over his friendship with his former lover.

"Like I know or give a shit." Scarlet sassed dryly.

Scarlet Spider becomes consumed by reckless vengeance as he runs at Adam to finish him off. But then something unexpected prompts him to stop. He looks up to find a missile fired at the battlefield and explode between rivals, ending this battle in a draw that results in Adam being knocked back to Crossbones's side and Kaine crashing into Blake and then both through a window.

"Blake! Scarlet!" The concerned X shouted, now alone against the two supervillains. And against something massively robotic marching its way to the ruined festival grounds.

It is the AIM Warbot. Now under the full control of Iron Queen as she stands boastingly atop her new weapon of mass destruction. "What is the meaning of this, human?" Taurus scolds her for interrupting his battle.

"Just play along with my new toy. It'll make destroying them that less of a hassle." Regina proposed to them a temporary alliance. Taurus scoffs, but nonetheless, both he and Crossbones agree to her terms for now as this might be their one chance to annihilate the unified heroes.

Their first target is X blasting his Buster shots at the Warbot's thick armor. Iron Queen easily paralyzes the reploid with her magitek before Crossbones guns him down. Adam rushes for the kill but is suddenly blocked by Lucina. More dimensional friends arrive to the fight, like Ruby forcing the faunus to leap back from her scythe slash, Pit disarming Crossbones before being kicked away, Spider-Man webbing Regina's face, right before Sonic pushes back the Warbot with a powerful Spin Dash. "So you all have come." Regina grunted, ripping off the webbing to see the heroic reinforcements assemble next to the recovered X.

"You and your pals are finished, Iron Queen!" Sonic declared at his old enemy.

"Sonic the Hedgehog." Regina scowls vengefully at her arch-nemesis. "Even here, you wish to interfere with my plans. Not this time. This is a new world with no rules that I intend to write to my benefit. This is the site of a…World Unity Festival?" She glances at the ruined festival signs, "How fitting it was celebrated on the day our worlds collided…and you all perished together.", before commanding her Warbot to ready all its weapons in order to destroy the Dimensional Avengers in one deadly onslaught.

However, a red lightning bolt from the dark heavens slams itself on the Warbot. It packed almighty electrifying force to not only pin down the giant mech but also electrocute all three dimensional villains at once. "The hell…?!" Crossbones exclaimed amidst his paralysis.

BGM-Street Fighter X Tekken OST-Mid Boss Battle TK

The Dimensional Avengers are surprised by this intervention. Moreso when they found out who caused it. The hooded martial artist that was with Wolverine earlier lands between heroes and villains, announcing to them all, "Sorry to keep you waiting."

"What is this? Who are you?!" Iron Queen demands him to reveal his identity before she kills him.

The Martial Artist then takes off his hood, revealing his spiky black hair as well as his infamous name. "I am Jin Kazama. Head of the Mishima Zaibatsu." Jin announced to allies and foes alike with a stoic demeanor.

"Like that matters." Adam scoffed with indifference.

"What are you doing here, Jin?" Spider-Man asked, surprised to be reunited with the anti-hero since their teamup against Ultron Sigma.

"I'll explain later. For now, I'll help you fight." Jin replied.

Behind his mask, Spidey smiles, "Much appreciated. Okay. Let's get this show on the road!", before all seven Legendary Multiversal Heroes strike their battle poses for one last fight against Iron Queen's group.

The dimensional showdown at the World Unity Festival begins between Jin and Crossbones. Both martial artists furiously charge at each other with cross-countering punches to the face that leads to skilled blows being exchanged at great speeds. Crossbones finds the chance to headbutt his foe and nearly smack him with a roundhouse punch. Jin ducks under it by striking his Mental Awareness stance that aids him in lunging a Left Drill Punch, sliding the mercenary back several feet.

"A Kyokushin master, huh. How quaint." Crossbones mocked upon recognizing Jin's fighting style.

"More than enough to beat you." Jin snarked.

Their duel continues with Kazama running to throw a punch that Crossbones blocks with just an arm, then proceeds to ruthlessly throw him through several tents and stalls. "How 'bout I make it difficult for ya." The Hydra Mercenary then whips out twin assault rifles that showers the arena with bullets. Jin flees from his bullet storm until he manages to kick solid debris through it all and almost hit the villain, who is then disarmed by the young man's Spinning Flare Kick. Getting annoyed, Crossbones gets tricky with a knife play, wielding one to slash Jin before whipping out another for dual-wield mayhem. Jin then decides to end this by deflecting his double knife strike with his Power Stance, surprising the mercenary into exclaiming, "What?!", before overwhelming him with a Soul Rage 8 Hit Combo that ends with Jin defeating him with an electrifying Avenger punch.

Meanwhile, the other battles are favoring the heroes thanks in part to their transcendent teamwork. Like the fight against Adam Taurus. Lucina engaged him in an intense sword clash that Taurus wins with the explosive use of his Semblance. But in a blink of an eye, his sword is kicked away by Sonic, forcing him to fight him with Blush. The superfast smirking hedgehog taunts him by narrowly dodging his bullets before kicking out a sudden wind blast that disarms him of his rifle as well. This leaves him open for Lucina's Critical Hit attack, unleashing a roaring full-powered dashing strike that sends the faunus flying with a destroyed Aura.

All that is left is Iron Queen and her AIM Warbot. Spider-Man keeps his distance swinging away from the mech's lasers. At the same time, Ruby duels with the magitek witch herself atop of her stolen robot. She lands a decent strike that pushes back Regina, who retaliates with a fireball barrage from her staff that the huntress keeps dodging with her Semblance, which doesn't save her from the Warbot's missile redirected by the cunning queen. Pits lends his friend a hand with an aerial arrow assault, completing distracting Regina from the Warbot that has revealed its numerous vulnerabilities to the heroes.

"Its vents are overheating! Target them!" Spidey ordered X.

X complies to his leader's commands and dashes around blowing up the vulnerabilities with Buster shots. One by one in rapid succession, the Warbot is weakening and tries finishing this with an all-out missile barrage. X blows up most of them, swiftly before Spidey web-throws the rest at the remaining vents and cause the gigantic mech to start collapsing. Iron Queen is baffled by this, shouting, "No no no!", before Ruby slashes her into the air, where she is met by Pit's slamming axe kick that crashes her onto the Warbot's eye and in X's line of fire.

"Charge Shot!" X expressed, yelling, "GOOOOO!", while firing a massive explosive blast that utterly dominates both Iron Queen and the Warbot's eye.

BGM End

The Warbot has endured enough. Flames burst from its exploding body and the electricity it's discharging is doing further harm to it. Its legs can no longer uphold its weight as the gigantic robot finally topples into decommissioned scrap, ending its threat on the merged city. As for the three multiversal villains. They struggle to embrace their defeat, glaring at the victorious heroes as Iron Queen growls, "This is not over!"

"Yeah, you say that every time. But you're always wrong." Sonic mocked her.

"You won't be so lucky next time. You have no idea how much the game has changed." Crossbones claimed cryptically, sneakily slamming down a flash grenade that blinds the heroes so they won't see the villains retreat from the area.

"They're gone." Ruby grimly noted.

"Good riddance!" Pit expressed with a more victorious tone.

"GUYS!"

BGM-Namco X Capcom OST-Because It's The Right Path

The heroes turn around to find Tails flying to their area alongside the rest of their massive group of multiversal friends that survived this sudden attack on the city. "Is everyone okay? How are we doing?" Spider-Man asked in relief from seeing them well.

"Good. I don't have as much info as I'd like, but it looks like the worst of the dimension chaos is over. We might have a minute to recoup." Sally responded.

"Where's Adam?" Blake asked her second ex-boyfriend.

"Gone. Along with Iron Queen and Crossbones." Spidey answered.

"Cowards. And that punk wants to be the leader of the White Fang." The cross-armed Scarlet Spider scoffed, disappointed that he didn't finish his fight with Taurus.

"If they show up again, we'll deal with them." Jin assured, grabbing the clone's stern glare.

"And you are…" Scarlet said, suspicious of the Iron Fist Prince.

"Jin!" Xiaoyu happily chimes in, confirming Kaine's suspicions as she reunites with her old friend, "There you are! I was so worried about you! Where did you run off to this time?"

"The Xavier Institute, training." Jin revealed.

"You're an X-Man?" Mary Jane commented.

"No. But they have been teaching me ways to control the power that I've been cursed with." Jin elaborated.

"The Devil Gene." Spidey noted, aware of that genetic abnormality that grants his friend demonic power. "Right. You are basically a mutant. If anyone can help you with that thing, it's them." He said to Jin, encouraging him to continue trusting the X-Men.

"Who cares about that? We have a situation in our hands! Our dimensions are in trouble again!" Dark Pit said, rudely switching topics.

"This is the crisis the Sol Emeralds warned me about. But what exactly is the problem?" Blaze wondered.

'From what Dr. Light and I gathered, some cosmic force just shattered the dimensional walls. Specifically the borders that separated Earth-616, Mobius, and Remnant, leading to that distortion we just experienced. We're still looking into the full extent of its effects.' Nicole informed the multiversal party.

"The borders are destroyed? Who's behind it this time? AIM?" Sonic remarked.

"We interrogated some of them. They claim to not know anything about this." Glynda reported.

"That's terrific." Knuckles shrugs sarcastically.

Just then, a curious shadow is casted on the heroes that prompt them to look up at the sky. It is a massive mobile headquarters powered by interdimensional technology and sports the SHIELD logo on the side of the ship. "Whoa. S.H.I.E.L.D. Tricarrier coming in low!" Yang recognized the base of Earth's peacekeeping organization.

Alongside the Tricarrier are several other airships that aren't as big but just as intimidating, with one sporting a stylized "G" logo and the others being a heavy escort of smaller dropships from an advanced kingdom. "And are those…G.U.N. and Atlesian ships?" Tails recognized the ships belonging to SHIELD's dimensional counterparts, G.U.N. of Mobius and the Atlesian Military of Remnant.

"We're definitely in trouble if those three are working together." Qrow noted grimly.

BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST- Revolution Starts Here (Battle Theme)

One Atlesian Manta ship descends to park next to the heroes. Its hatch opens to deploy both Atlesian and GUN Soldiers onto the field to help the city, with the operation being led by Deputy Director Maria Hill of SHIELD. "Things are looking bad, team. I'm assembling EVERY hero I can get a hold of. The other Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men have already been dispatched." The stern Maria Hill informed the heroes.

"Whaddya talking about, Hill? We just saved the city." Spidey responded.

"You thought New York was the only place affected by that dimensional distortion? The entire WORLD is under chaos! There are multiple attacks across countries from multiple supervillains and Grimm. This is bigger than anything we've ever faced this summer." Hill scolds him for his ignorance.

"Thought today couldn't get any worse…" Weiss sassed.

"Where do you need us?" X asked the deputy director.

"The Raft among other major prisons are in the worst shape. Supervillain breakouts from all of them. What makes the Raft special is that Hydra were gonna cause the breakout themselves right before the distortions made things easier for them." Hill briefed them.

"Then is Hydra behind this?" Sally inquired, now thinking Hydra is the cause of the dimensional distortions.

"Possibly. Fury wants the Dimensional Avengers and Jin Kazama to handle the Raft. I have assignments for the rest of you." Hill ordered.

"Fine." Jin stoically agreed to the mission.

"If we don't hustle the breakout at the Raft could be catastrophic. Think about all those criminals on the streets again." Spidey commented.

"Then get your ass into the Manta pronto! Don't let any of them escape!" Hill gestured, albeit disrespectfully.

"You sure know how to encourage a fella." Spidey snarked.

Jin joins the Dimensional Avengers as they enter the Manta. Tails takes the helm and flies the ship off the ground and into the air. Before their multiversal friends watching knew it, the Manta takes off at high speeds to deal with the situation at The Raft. "Wait!" Suddenly, Harry Osborn confronts Hill as he has something important to ask her, "You mentioned other breakouts. Is one happening in Prison 42?"

"Yeah. And I know what you're getting at. That's why I want some of you to the Negative Zone immediately! The last thing our worlds need is for THAT maniac to run loose again!" Hill retorted, being vague about the mystery villain should still be imprisoned.

"Who?" The confused Nora commented.

"Harry, you don't mean…?" MJ gasped in horror upon realizing the person her best friend is talking about.

Harry gives the ground a frowning stare as it takes him a moment to reveal their shocking identity. "…My Dad." He proclaimed with a terrible feeling in his blood.

Meanwhile in Prison 42…

BGM-Spider-Man: The Movie Game OST-The Green Goblin

Dimensional rifts are wreaking havoc throughout the Negative Zone. Prison 42 isn't safe from them either as the chaos it's spreading is either causing many prisoners to escape or put them in grave danger. SHIELD Agents were already deployed to contain the breakout, with two of them rushing to a certain Osborn's cell. "Roger that. Closing in on Norman Osborn's cell now. No way we're allowing that psycho loose." SHIELD Agent #1 said stoically through a comlink.

Both agents made it to Norman's cell, where there are not surprised to find it empty and ruined because of the distortions. "Prisoner escaped his cell! I repeat, Norman Osborn is gone! We need info on his location stat!" SHIELD Agent #2 exclaimed, as both soldiers remain cautious while investigating the cell for any clue on Osborn's whereabouts.

"Try looking behind you." said by a certain madman standing creepy behind the two agents.

Just as they turn around, their faces are caught by the superstrong hands of Norman Osborn. He lifts them up while feeling his body mutating into what he deems perfection. All but his pants burst into shreds as his white-skinned body bulks into a hulking green. His face becomes demonic with a wicked smile and his eyes ignite with orange flames, with such power boiling from his fingertips that have stabbed themselves deep into the agents' horrific faces. Before they knew it, their whole bodies burst into chaotic flames that get them yelling, "WAAAAAAAAAAAGH!", in absolute agony.

"FREEZE! Put 'em down!" Another SHIELD Agent demanded in front of his large squadron that all have their weapons locked on the revived Green Goblin.

"If you insist!" quipped Green Goblin, using his flaming hostages as makeshift pumpkin bombs that he throws to obliterate the squadron and blow a large hole in the wall for his escape. This gets him mad cackling, "Hehahahahaha! AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!", as he cannot believe his fortune. The dimensional distortions are what caused this breakout, but he could care less about any of that right now. To the Green Goblin, revenge is important. And there is only one singular person that he hungers to murder with all his raging flames. Spider-Man.

BGM-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 OST-Gallery

KFX Here: The Green Goblin is back in time to close off the opening arc of this story! Jin Kazama has also returned to the series, now in his Tekken 7 attire. Xiaoyu will remain in her Tekken 6 outfit. Both Tekken characters will star alongside Scarlet Spider in the new special arc I mentioned in the Overview. Appropriate since Tekken 8 got released around the time this is published. I'm thinking of getting the game since I want to start getting into fighting games, but who knows. And if parts of this two-parter feel reminiscent of what happened at RWBY Volume 3, then yeah, that was intentional.
