Sonic: I'm Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog! Guess who showed up to stop us from saving the Raft. Our old pal, Green Goblin. He was still butthurt from losing his new universe and tried taking it out on us. Keyword: Tried. But then we were hit with a bombshell. Our dimensions fused by a Convergence? How did that happen? Of all the weird stuff I've been through over the years, this easily takes the cake.

Volume 1 Issue 3: S.T.R.I.K.E. Force
S.H.I.E.L.D. Command Tricarrier, New Vale City. Unified World. (Day of The Convergence)
BGM-Marvel's The Avengers OST-Helicarrier
The SHIELD Tricarrier floats amidst the clouds above a New Vale City that was just saved from multiple supervillain attacks. Iron Queen retreated to the shadows and the Prison Raft breakout was contained. There are still many loose ends, but for the moment, the Unified World is calm. No better time for the heroes to strategize their next move.
Multiple Quinjets fly around the titanic aircraft. All of them ignored by Team Scarlet JNPR hanging out on the flight deck in broad daylight. The huntsmen, Mary Jane, Harry, Hummingbird, and Xiaoyu enjoying a funny conversation. Dark Pit and Blaze brooding in solitude. Scarlet Spider doing the same, with the addition of Tiki sleeping on his lap. And Nature Goddess Viridi being the first to notice the arrival of a particular Quinjet about to touch ground. The hatch opens to reveal the Dimensional Avengers walking out of it, much to the joy of their friends that see them coming.
"You guys made it!" Jaune smiles big at them.
"Thank god you're okay." Mary Jane runs up to Spider-Man to share a big hug with him, while most of the reunited friends exchange comforting greetings.
"I'm sorry, ma'am. Are civilians allowed to be on the Tricarrier?" Amy teased the redhead and Harry.
"Personnel will ignore you if you tag along with Scarlet and his scary face." MJ smiled, glancing a teasing look at the annoyed Scarlet Spider.
"I keep telling you to smile." The awakened Tiki teased him too.
"I'm wearing a mask!" Scarlet retorted.
"Take it SHIELD called you guys too for this meeting. We just got done cleaning up Rykers and Prison 42." Pyrrha informed the heroes.
"There's a good reason for all of us being here." Ruby responded.
"I'll say. You guys took your sweet time." Viridi snarked upon walking up to her old allies.
"Didn't know you were helping us too, Viridi." Pit said to his divine frenemy.
"Reluctantly. Whatever happened on this world seemed to have affected mine someway. Lost sight of everyone for a moment and it took a while to get here." Viridi replied, explaining why she's on the Unified World.
"You were worried about us. That's nice of you." Sonic smiled with no hint of teasing at all.
"Absolutely absurd! Shut up!" Viridi retorted in a blushing fluster.
"Take it you guys fought my dad." Harry noticed the battle damage on the Dimensional Avengers after they won their fight over Green Goblin.
"Are the burn marks that obvious?" Spider-Man quipped.
"Sorry." Harry apologized.
"It's okay. We took care of him no problem." Spidey assured his best friend.
"Guy lost a lot of his edge while in prison. Nowhere near as scary as Scarlet's grumpy face." Yang joked.
"You better shut up about my face now!" Scarlet snapped angrily.
"Still, I feel bad. Felt like I sic him on you. Last we talked didn't end so great." Harry expressed his guilt over his father's insane actions.
"Your father made the choice for revenge and betray your love for power. His sins are not yours to bear. Only presents an opportunity to set things right." Jin advised his new ally.
"Trust him. He knows what it's like having a terrible family." Xiaoyu quipped, noting how similar both Jin and Harry in regard to having evil fathers.
"Hope I never meet any of them." Harry snarked, eliciting a smirking scoff from Kazama.
"Should've saved me a piece of Osborn. You know how I feel after what he did to Ben Reilly. I would've beat him up myself if I wasn't held up in the Negative Zone." Scarlet said to Peter, expressing his disappointment in missing that epic battle.
"Don't worry, I made sure to give him your two cents right in his face." Spidey assured him.
"Guess I'll accept that for now." The cross-armed Scarlet scoffed.

"So I'm assuming this emergency meeting is about how to fix the dimensional distortions?" Blaze questioned the Dimensional Avengers.
"Hopefully. The situation is more complicated than we thought." X responded.
"How so?" Blaze questioned with a curious look.
"It's, uh…best you wait and hear it with everyone else." X frowned somberly. An expression shared with the rest of his team as they are still reeling from the horrific news of the Convergence.
"This is worse than everything else we fought against, isn't it?" Dark Pit deduced.
"…Yeah." Weiss admitted sadly.
"I see. Let's get this over with then." Dark Pit expressed stoically, leading the unified party inside the Tricarrier.
BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-Earth's Mightiest Tower
Both parties walk into the War Room where the meeting will take place. The moment they made it in, most of them are amazed by the massive assembly of heroes from different dimensions. The Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four of Earth. The Freedom Fighters, Team Dark, and the Chaotix of Mobius. Beacon Huntsmen and the Ace Operatives of Remnant. And lastly, Lucina's New Shepherds from her future. All of them here to discuss the Convergence.
"Oh wow. Haven't seen this many heroes packed in one place in a while. This is definitely crisis time." Spider-Man joked.
"Dimensional Avengers! You made it!" said by Doctor Jemma Simmons, smiling upon approaching her dimensional friends.
"Dr. Simmons! Good to see you're still okay." Spidey replied, greeting her with a friendly handshake.
"Who is she?" The curious Blaze asked.
"Doctor Jemma Simmons. She's a scientist at Stark Industries that was kidnapped by A.I.M. a few days ago, but we rescued her." Spidey answered, recalling that rescue mission.
"Why did they kidnap you?" Hummingbird asked the scientist.
"They were interested in a multidimensional positioning system and scanner that I was working on." Simmons answered.
"Can you explain it in English?" Dark Pit snarked.
"Roughly speaking it involves observing and gathering data from other dimensions. AIM was using it to capture and control people from other worlds." Tails simplified.
"And SHIELD called you here to research the distortions." Ren said to the scientist, having deduced why she's here.
"Yup. Now I'm glad I didn't major Biochem. Been up all day studying the anomalies that have affected our worlds. Haven't seen data this crazy since the Incursions." Simmons responded.
"The situation is really THAT bad?" Jaune retorted in shock.
"Not even close. At least not yet. We were affected by a unique phenomenon never experienced in any other dimension in this infinite multiverse. Very fascinating, if a bit morbid." Simmons assured the blonde huntsman.
"Why is it always OUR worlds that get the special treatment?" Knuckles complained through a growl.
Simmons's eyes then spot Nick Fury and Maria Hill entering the room, prompting her to wrap up this conversation. "Meeting's about to start. I'll explain things further later. See ya." She waves her goodbye to the heroes before they all make themselves comfy in this war room.

"Looks like everyone's here except for Tower and Ironwood." Maria Hill reported to her superior.
"They'll arrive for the most important announcement." Nick Fury responded confidently.
BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-3 Black Noises (Revival; Space Colony ARK ver.)
"Can we get this over with, Fury? Most of us were kinda in the middle of something." Iron Man quipped without his faceplate on.
"Then I'll cut right to the chase. Everyone, pay attention!" Fury demanded with a commanding voice that silenced all of the multiversal heroes. "Some of you have figured out what happened, while the rest of you are clueless in how we're suddenly together. It's because of The Convergence. That's where this ALL began, and how it might lead to our end. Some cosmic force threw everything into chaos again, and the worlds of Earth, Mobius, and Remnant were merged into one from their ruins." He announced with grimness infused to both his expressions and tone.
As expected, all the heroes present does not take this news well at all. The sudden revelation of their Unified World causes them all to react in states of absolute shock that verges on horrified, starting with Sally Acorn exclaiming, "SAY WHAT?!"
"No way!"
"Our worlds are dead?!"
"Our dimensions fused!?"
"How did that happen?!"
"I cannot believe this!"
"Ridiculous!"
"This is a new world?"
"This is the sickest joke I've ever heard!"
"Guys, is this true?!" Jaune gives the Dimensional Avengers a surprised stare that request confirmation of this inane reveal. The entire team is too disheartened to answer him, let alone look at him. Leaving it up to Spider-Man to confirm everything with a simple, grim nod.
"Oh my god…!" MJ gasped in horror whilst Harry and Team Scarlet JNPR just stand there petrified.
"How bad is the damage?" Sally asked the SHIELD Director after calming herself quickly.
"Bad." Fury answered.
"World governments are in pieces. The parts that are still working are trying to take a census. Looks like a third of the population perished during the dimensional fusion. And that's only accounting this planet." Hill informed the heroes.
"That's insane! THAT many people died?!" Vector the Crocodile retorted angrily.
"This is a nightmare." Captain America frowned.
"I've had better nightmares." Ozpin remarked with a similar, sorrowful expression.
"So the spatial boundaries between universes were distorted to the point of shattering and allowing multiple worlds to cross over into the same reality. Usually when that happens, those worlds are doomed to collide with one another and be destroyed." Mister Fantastic said, keeping a levelhead while using his supersmarts to figure out how the Convergence came to be.
"Yes, those were the Incursions. But I thought when we restarted reality, we prevented disasters like those from ever happening again." Blaze commented.
"This may have been another side-effect of The Pulse we didn't account for. A rare Incursion that instead of destroying worlds, they were born anew as a singular." Reed theorized.
"Thought that phone company got cancelled." Spidey quipped.

"Uh, is it my turn to speak now?" Doctor Simmons awkwardly announces her presence to the heroes.
"Of course, Doctor. Apologies. What do you want to add?" Reed politely asked her.
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite OST-Title Screen & Main Menu
"A lot of things. Many of you don't know me, but I'm a Chief Researcher at Stark Industries that specializes in dimensional observation. And from what I discovered several minutes ago, the Convergence did more than just merge three worlds. It interconnected them with several others." Simmons pulls out her tablet to project a massive hologram for everyone surrounding it to stare at intently. A map that firstly displays the Unified World while she talks about it, "This is what I'm calling my Convergence Map. Not only this will help identify the merged regions of this universe, but also assisted me in analyzing this newly-formed subsection of the multiverse."
"Since when did the multiverse have sections?" Hawkeye questioned.
"Since the beginning. Celestials like to keep their creations organized. But this was never part of their design. There are seven universes in total in this subsection. With this one being this world." Simmons explained while her map displays the seven interconnected worlds that are represented by their color, with the Unified World signified with the color green.
"Wait a second. I recognize this world." Palutena steps forward with a curious look at the yellow holo-world, "Is this Skyworld?"
"And the one over here…This is my Earth!" X recognizes the purple world.
"As this one is to me." Tiki approached the red world.
The stern Simmons nods, "Yes. Your Earths and their known timelines have become part of this subsection. Alongside the Sol Zone." Which is represented by the blue color. "The Makai World." Represented by the turquoise color. "And an Earth that's been proven complicated to study." She talks about the white world with a sheepish expression. "I want to call these worlds 'Cross Spaces'! And the entire verse itself to be the Crossverse! Seven individual dimensions that, while located in separate parts of the multiverse, are systematically connected by some unknown force." She lectured the dimensional heroes.
"So we're officially neighbors! That's cool I guess." Xiaoyu joked.
"The Seven Cross Spaces. Reminds me of the Nine Realms and Yggdrasil." Thor commented.
"Have any of them suffered damage like this world?" Jin asked the Stark scientist.
"Besides some minor random anomalies, no. This isn't like what Ultron Sigma did by having one world directly affect the other. This is a non-threatening step up." Simmons assured him.
"Good job, Doctor. Knew it was a good idea to hire you." Stark complimented his employee.
"Thank you, Mr. Stark!" Simmons nods happily to the compliment.
"Just what he needs. Another boost to his ego." Glynda Goodwitch snarked dryly.
"None of that still explains who or what caused the Convergence!" Viridi commented with an irritated expression.
"May be the Beyonder again. This does feel Battleworld-esque." The Thing suspected.
"Gotta be the Masters of Evil." Scarlet Spider spoke out his stoic suspicions.
"I dunno…" Spidey responded unsurely.
"Who else would do something this stupid? You've seen what they've done to other worlds." Scarlet argued.
"They're a suspect, yes, but past months have proven there are more dangerous enemies out there. And it wasn't that long ago when we were warned about the most dangerous of them all." Lucina refuted the clone's argument.
"Is that so?" Shadow the Hedgehog remarked curiously.
"A woman by the name of Ingrid gave us the intel. Told us some Ultimate Evil was awakened by this multiversal war and has been on a killing spree destroying dimensions until it finds us and the Exo Stones. Even Doctor Doom has been worried about this thing." Captain Marvel briefed everyone.
"If he's worried, then we should all be worried." Human Torch quipped.
"Didn't you also receive a vision about this, Sonic?" Stark reminds the hedgehog of his Genesis Visions.
"Oh yeah. Recall worlds colliding in that too. Didn't know it meant the Convergence." Sonic remarked, now realizing what a part of those visions warned him about.
"The Pulse, the Incursions, and now the Convergence? This has to be the worst cosmic calamity trilogy we have ever experienced." Stark quipped.
"I still don't buy the relation between the Convergence and our mystery punk." Scarlet Spider said stubbornly.
"Just admit you hate being wrong." Severa snarked at him.

"If this Ultimate Evil really is behind this catastrophe, then the Convergence was just a preemptive strike to weaken our forces." Winter Schnee hypothesized, standing beside Sally and Captain America.
"Overly extreme but effective. It could take us months to years to gain even a semblance of control over this new world, and by that time it'll be too late." Sally commented, in the midst of thinking their next strategy.
"What we need now is a strategy to contain the worldwide chaos before we hunt down whatever is responsible." Captain America suggested.
"Not to worry, Captain. We have a solution."
BGM-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 OST-Heroes & Heralds' Menu Theme
The man that has captured Steve Rogers's interest is the no-nonsense commander of the Guardian Units of Nations. Abraham Tower of G.U.N. has joined the meeting. And he brought a friend. Both the Headmaster of Atlas Academy and the General of the Atlesian Military. James Ironwood has arrived, with both military men here to lend the heroes some much needed aid. "Commander Tower and General Ironwood?" Captain America recognized them.
"Bout time you two showed up." Fury greeted his dimensional counterparts.
"Skies are more dangerous these days. Perfect opportunity to activate our contingency." Ironwood smiles a quip at his friend.
"Contingency?" The confused Spidey questioned the military men.
"Told you before I was working on a new initiative to expand our dimensional operations. This is it." Fury reminded him, before glancing at his second-in-command, "Hill. Activate S.T.R.I.K.E.!", who responds with a stern nod.
"S.T.R.I.K.E.?" Ruby commented, as now she's the one left confused.
A golden hologram of an eagle dashing down diagonally like a striking arrow is projected for all the dimensional heroes to realize that this is the insignia of this new task force. "Stands for 'Special Tactical Reserve for Interdimensional Key Events'. Something that's been in the works since the war with Green Goblin. This division is all about dealing with interdimensional threats. The kind of stuff even our militaries or heroes are not equipped to deal with." The GUN Commander briefed the superheroes.
"So I'm assuming this qualifies?" Sally commented.
"Definitely." Tower stated.
"Already lost respect for the Dimensional Avengers, huh?" Sonic snarked, since his team was formed for a similar purpose.
"We're HELPING you! This is a war we ALL must to fight together!" Ironwood retorted glaringly at the jokester quickster.
"Our most powerful and dangerous criminals are on the loose causing chaos. Some made stronger because of the Convergence. And we're the only ones who can stop them. The Tricarrier will act as our main base. All agents will have access to our most state-of-the-art interdimensional technology. From a tactical perspective, STRIKE is broadly divided into four teams: Team Alpha, led by Captain America, will work on containing criminal activity. Team Beta, led by Sally Acorn, are tasked with searching and rescuing civilians displaced by the distortions. Team Gamma, led by Winter Schnee, must focus on infiltrating enemy territories in order to gather intel on who or what caused The Convergence. And lastly, Team Delta, will be researchers composed of our smartest to study anomalies caused by the emergence of this Crossverse. They will be headed by Mister Fantastic and Doctor Simmons." Fury explained their tasks as Agents of STRIKE.
"No Team Omega? This is ridiculous." E-123 Omega criticized.
"I think I'm getting it…By protecting this world, we can protect all worlds. Including the one I'm from. Right?" Xiaoyu summarized.
"Yes. Our ultimate goals are to figure out why the Convergence happened and how to reverse it. And we can't possibly do it alone. That's where you come in. All of you will join a team, but don't stress about it. We allocate members with different capabilities where they are most needed. It is a crucial aspect of our real-life operations." Ironwood assured.
"Y'know this sounds really fun! I wanna go on STRIKE!" Pit smiled.
"Me too! Me too!" Charmy expressed excitedly.
"That's the spirit!" Elm Ederne of the Ace-Ops smiles with approval of their attitude.
"Not like we have much of a choice." Wolverine frowned with folded arms, as it seems all the heroes from the Three Dimensions and beyond have decided to join STRIKE.
"Glad you're all on board. We'll have missions for you shortly. Standby until then." Fury ordered, concluding this emergency meeting.

Scarlet Spider walks away immediately after the meeting finished. He looks disinterested to everything and everyone around him. Including Blake while walking past her. "Where are you going?" She asked him.
"Houston." Kaine responded, still walking.
"Are you going to help us?" Blake asked him another question.
"We'll see. For now, I gotta check what the Convergence did to my city. Since I was DRAGGED outta there against my free will." Scarlet stops, just to shoot an annoyed glance at the embarrassed Team JNPR. "I'm already in a bad mood. If my…home got destroyed…" He pauses while clenching his fist in rage. Infusing it with his hellfire that he struggled to control for an odd moment.
"I understand. Go." Blake frowned, feeling sincere sympathy for her friend.
"We'll come with you! Houston's my home too!" Hummingbird said, running up to her mentor alongside Tiki.
With just a grim nod, Scarlet accepts their company before they return to Houston. "Scarlet has the right idea." Spider-Man said to his dimensional friends, "We need to check in on our families. Make sure they're safe before we help STRIKE."
"This is NOT how I imagined our second year at Beacon would start." Pyrrha sighed in tiredness from that bombshell of a meeting.
"Says you. This is way cooler than doing math homework." Xiaoyu quipped, voicing her disdain for math.
"Can we count on Oscorp to lend a hand?" Knuckles asked Harry.
"Already devoting all resources to world peace." Harry quipped while whipping out his cellphone. And then something caught his curious eye upon looking through his company data, "Oh. When did we get rebranded as OzSchnee?"
BGM-Tekken 5 OST- Destined Interlude ~ Comical
"SAY WHAT?!" Weiss immediately snatches her boyfriend's phone to confirm this horrific news herself. She compares his data with the Schnee Dust Company's in her Scroll. And lo and behold, and adding to the absolute terror in her face, both databases now belong to the merger of both companies. "Our companies MERGED?! WHY did they merge?! Why US?! This is ludicrous! A nightmare! Absolutely mortifying!" She humorously freaks out about this.
And adding insult to injury, a text message from one Jacques Schnee pops up on Harry's phone. "Aaaand looks like your dad wants to talk to me. He does know you're dating the Green Goblin's son, right?" Harry asked his girlfriend, who stands there sweating bullets. "…Right?" He asked again with more worry, with Weiss again responding with more sweat.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Laughed by the combined forces of Sonic, Amy, Yang, Nora, Viridi, and Palutena. All of them way too amused by the couple's predicament.
"THIS ISN'T FUNNY! STOP LAUGHING!" Weiss shouted all her fury at them, which is nowhere near enough to stop the over-the-top laughter.
"Welcome new world." Mary Jane chuckled sheepishly, while Peter comforts his sighing best friend with several shoulder pats.

Latveria, Unified World.
BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance OST-Castle Doom (Ambience)
It is a beautiful night at one of the few nations that survived the Convergence. Some Latverians did perish from the sudden merge, but it was a necessary sacrifice that'll aid in fooling the heroes until the Masters of Evil complete their master plan. Speaking of, Hydra is having a meeting with its leader outside Castle Doom. Madame Viper and Crossbones stand before their forces, with the former talking proudly to the monarch that's hiding in the shadows. "The Raft assault was a spectacular success. If I do say so myself. Thanks to Hydra, there will be bedlam in the streets of New York." Viper reported to her client.
"Or whatever it is they're calling that city now. Heard our dimensions merged or somethin'." Crossbone quipped, unaware that it was the Masters that caused the Convergence.
"And the list?" Doctor Doom asked, walking out of the shadows like the intimidating monarch that he is.
"Yes. The entire list. But I can't help but wonder…M.O.D.O.K., Wizard, and I believe Eggman was interested in a 'Mammoth Mogul'…what does the Masters of Evil gain from their freedom?" Madame Hydra asked him, suspicious of his true plans.
"And with this, we end our transaction." Doom shuts her up by handing her a small device that Hydra requested in exchange for causing the breakout.
"This…is it?" Madame Hydra comments with a curious stare at it.
"This technology exploits a flaw in Tony Stark's security system among others alike." Doom proclaimed, goading her to use her new toy on other tech companies. Like the new OzSchnee Industries for instance.
"Well, then. Hail Hydra. Madame Hydra said, kneeling respectfully to the Latverian King that's returning to his castle.
"Begone." Doom ordered, not wanting any more guests as he will be busy furthering his multiversal conquest from the shadows.

KFX Here: A somewhat shorter chapter compared to others. With this one introducing S.T.R.I.K.E.! Adapted straight from the popular mobile game, MARVEL Strike Force. They will be the main hero faction of this remake.
Myriad Hopes: The Tekken characters in this story are based on their Street Fighter x Tekken/Project X Zone incarnations. At this point, Jin had his war with Shadaloo. He hasn't encountered Azazel yet. As for Naoto, similar to the Tekken characters, any BlazBlue character that appears in this story are based on their BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle incarnations. Since they're spinoffs and not canon to the main story, it gives me more freedom to write about them and their world.
