Together with newcomers, Ms. Marvel and Naoto Kurogane, we stopped their plans, but Hood still escaped. Good thing we know where he's hiding. I am curious about why Naoto is here. The Masters of Evil have been laying low since they merged their dimensions and want to keep it that way until Thanos invades. They're the only ones on the planet aware of his inevitable arrival. So in the meantime, they have planned to spend the next few days doing whatever it takes to counter his deathly power.

Eggman is in charge of weapon development. His trio of lackeys, Metal Sonic, Orbot, and Cubot, aid in the upgrades of the Masters Air Fleet. The Egg Emperor himself is in his workshop typing on his computer, drawing out a blueprint for a new cannon-like weapon until he was interrupted by Jedah Dohma. "Jedah! Where the heck have you been? I needed those Makai-enhanced ISO-8 30 minutes ago!" Eggman angrily scolded the shinigami.

"Apologies, Doctor. I just couldn't resist a brief inspection of this new wonder we had crafted." Jedah answered, accompanied by his humanoid Soul Bees that were tasked in collecting ISO-8 and delivering them to headquarters.

"Impressive, isn't it?" Eggman grinned.

"Indeed. Merged dimension, linked worlds, new awakening, and cross-pollination of souls…Here I am needed more than ever. The Convergence rid countless of their souls and entangled the energies of this Crossverse's Death Realms. Can't leave their salvation in the hands of beings like Dormammu and Mephisto. Though I suppose it doesn't matter since Mistress Death claims them all in the end." Jedah explained.

"Surprises me you're not working with Thanos." Eggman said, returning his focus to his blueprinting.

"I seek equilibrium between life and death. The Titan just desires death. It would be unfair if two Grim Reapers stood against you." Jedah snarked with a teasing smirk.

"That wouldn't mean anything against my latest project!" Eggman smirks back all arrogant upon revealing his blueprint to him.

"What is this?" The curious Jedah observed.

"My Particle Disruption Beam! Designed for use against targets of unfathomable power." Eggman answered.

"Interesting. You believe it will be enough to cease Thanos?" Jedah questioned.

"Don't underestimate my genius, Jedah. This wouldn't be the first time I went to war with an alien overlord. Thanos won't know what'll hit him!" Eggman claimed before breaking into a maniacal laugh.

Octavius is in charge of research. In his laboratory studying the results of the Convergence with his lab assistant Mecha Spider-Man, who was placed in charge of creating a new Sinister Six that can handle an alien invasion. "No sign of the scattered Exo Stones?" Albert Wesker asked his fellow doctor upon entering his lab, taking a short break from his B.O.W. experiments.

"In due time." Octavius replied vaguely, too busy standing before his holographic map of the Unified World. "Regardless, the test data is looking promising. The Genesis Convergium has exceeded our expectations. It truly is a new universe with its inhabitants born anew. The unique unified energies of both the Chaos and Nightmare Stones permeates the atmosphere, altering everyone's energy signatures through their radiation. No wonder Grimadoom mentioned he felt different. All of our strengths and weaknesses were rebalanced for a fairer competition between the masses." He informed his ally.

"This could mean Thanos was weakened and our forces grown stronger." Wesker pondered, thinking they can use this phenomenon to their advantage.

"Perhaps. But I advise you express extreme caution against the Mad Titan. I have witnessed what he is capable of even without infinite power. His weakest can still doom us all…" Ock frowned with great grimness in his voice, warning his ally that Thanos is dangerous no matter what state he's in.

Then there is Doom in charge of the ultimate countermeasure. A mysterious, yet familiar device that is being worked on with the procured technology of Abel City and Ultron Sigma in a hidden pocket dimension. This secret superweapon may be the key in defeating Thanos if things go south. This plan will have to be put on hold for a moment, however, as a Doombot politely interrupts its master about something. "Excuse me for the interruption, Lord Doom. Mistress Salem request your presence outside the castle. She wishes to introduce you to her guests." The Doombot reported.

"On my way." Doom responded, stoically while exiting the pocket dimension.

At the courtyard outside of his castle, Doom meets with Salem and her three distinct guests that he can tell were from Remnant with an indifferent glare: A tall muscular man that maintains a calm composure. A male scorpion Faunus that has the eyes of a serial killer. And a scientist that dresses like a gentleman but radiates arrogance. "Who are these three?" The Latverian King asked his sorceress partner.

"Old subordinates of mine. Let me introduce you. Victor, this is Hazel Rainart. Tyrian Callows. And the smartest Atlas scientist, Arthur Watts." Salem introduced him to members of her old Inner Circle.

"An honor to meet you, Doctor Doom. Our Mistress just finished telling us of the wonderful hospitality you have shown her during our absence." Arthur Watts greeted.

"I was told you three were murdered by Norman Osborn." Doom recalled their deaths during the Goblin War.

"Certainly didn't felt like it. Must've passed out from the dimensional displacement because we found ourselves awakening outside of your kingdom. We asked around where we are, and after Tyrian here was so 'polite' to one civilian, we learned Salem was living with you." Watts explained.

"You assaulted one of Doom's subjects?" Doom coldly glares at the sadistic scorpion.

"Not at all, my Doomsie. All I did was give him a soft pat to the back with my tail. Gratitude must've made him ill. Next thing I heard he was coughing up poison." Tyrian Callows snarked with a sadistic grin that more than implies him murdering the Latverian civilian.

"You would do well to restrain yourself within this kingdom, Tyrian. Victor is the leader of our new inner circle and deserves our utmost respect." The calming Salem scolds her assassin.

"Y-Yes, Your Grace." Tyrian responded, quick to frown in sadness from displeasing his master.

"Listen to your trainer, dog, if you wish not to return to your grave. A side-effect of the Convergence is responsible for your revivals. Nonetheless, you may prove useful to the Masters of Evil." Doom threatened, unaware that it was the Lifeline Tablet that revived these three villains.

"What do you want us to do?" Hazel Rainart asked his new leader.

"The heroes of our worlds have formed an alliance named S.T.R.I.K.E. to quell the chaos that is spreading throughout this Unified World. My forces were deployed in distraction efforts to keep them guessing of my true plans. You three are tasked to do the same. Assist various factions and keep STRIKE busy." Doom ordered them.

"Yes, sir." Hazel acknowledged.

"Dismiss." Doom said calmly, with him and Salem leaving their newest members to their tasks.

"I'm liking him already." Tyrian commented with a crazed smile that Watts rolls his eyes at.

Port Elizabeth, Jersey Docks.

Ms. Marvel and Naoto Kurogane are the latest heroes to join S.T.R.I.K.E. in the middle of pursuing The Hood. They journeyed with the Dimensional Avengers to a rooftop overlooking the criminal's secret headquarters. A major port outside of Jerseyopolis where they hope to finally capture The Hood and take back the Lifeline Tablet.

"What is this place?" Lucina asked her friends.

"Welcome to Port Elizabeth. Been hearing rumors of this place turning into a cesspool for thugs and criminals and I wasn't sure why. Until today, I guess." Ms. Marvel informed the party.

"This must be where The Hood is building his new empire." Spider-Man proclaimed.

"Using a magic tablet that can turn him into a god. Is that right?" Naoto questioned in casual disbelief.

"Yup." Spidey nodded.

"Your world is nuts." Naoto snarked.

"Already was before the Convergence." Yang quipped.

"There's a lot of criminal activity here. I'm having trouble triangulating his exact location." Tails said, scanning the area with his Miles Electric handheld.

"Leave that to me. He's the boss with a magic cloak, right? Which means he has the highest numbers for me to see." Naoto suggested vaguely.

"Numbers?" The confused Pit remarked.

"It's called the Eye of the Hunter. Allows me to see the lifeforce value of any person. The higher the number, the more life they have." Naoto briefs his new friends on his unique ability.

"You can sense power levels. Know anyone that's over 9000?" Spidey quipped.

"A few. Especially this guy." Naoto points out the confused X, "Your numbers might as well be infinite. Which is weird since you're a robot."

"Actually, I'm a reploid. Maybe that's why." X replied, forever oblivious to his limitless potential.

"Whatever you say." Naoto shrugged, having no idea what a reploid means.

"Even if we find Hood, it's gonna be a pain pinning him down. Dude can teleport to the next country in a blink of an eye." Sonic frowned.

"Leave that to me." Palutena claims to have an idea to limit Hood's power. A simple plan that has her pointing her staff at the sky and casting an invisible barrier all around Port Elizabeth. "His power is derived from dark magic. Entrapping his territory in a barrier of light should cut off his escape routes." She explained.

"Then we can rip that stupid cloak off him." Knuckles commented.

"Good plan. Naoto, take the lead. Let's capture him as fast as possible." Spidey ordered, with the group determined to bring The Hood to justice this time.

BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-Apocalypse #2

Lots of thugs are hanging out at this port. Doesn't matter their species. Human, Mobian, Faunus, dozens of them are all working for The Hood. The once small-time crook is that determined to build a new criminal empire capable of dethroning Wilson Fisk as the Kingpin of Crime. He meets with two of his nameless underlings, one a Mobian and the other a Faunus, at a hidden area of the port. He watches them unload several boxes from a truck, smiling, "You guys been busy."

"Sure have, boss. Look." The Mobian Thug opens one case containing various energy sources stolen from this merged world, "ISO-8, Rings, and Dust up the wazoo. Gonna make a killin' with this."

"Are they here yet?" The Faunus Thug asked his boss, being vague about a certain party coming to visit.

"They're around." The Hood answered. "Once we're ready, we're gonna raise hell on Fisk's territory. Him having a cyborg army doesn't change the fact that the Convergence weakened his empire and is scrambling to regain control. With what we have now he doesn't stand a chance. His days as the Kingpin of Crime are about to be numbered." He rallied them with grinning confidence, thinking no one can stop him now.

BGM-Spider-Man: Web of Shadows OST-Gang War (Red Suit)

Out of nowhere a Schnee Glyph surprises the gang by freezing both henchmen before Hood himself is webbed to a shipping container. Spider-Man and Weiss reveal themselves before the rest of the Dimensional Avengers in a swift fashion, alongside Sonic taunting the cloaked criminal, "You should consider hanging up the cloak yourself. Doesn't look like your gang's gonna last long."

"You punks just don't know when to leave me alone." Hood grunted, growing frustrated with their constant interference in his plans.

"You attacked my city and stole a dangerous tablet. We weren't just gonna forgive and forget." Ms. Marvel retorted.

"Give it up, Hood! You're not slipping away from us this time!" Jin declared with fierce determination glaring straight at him.

"Pretty easy to do!" The Hood uses his signature cloak to warp himself out of his webbed binds and appear atop the container, using his dual guns to fire magic bullets that keep the heroes at bay before teleporting to someplace else in this massive port.

Acting quickly, Naoto activates his Eye of the Hunter power. He sees Hood's numbers are high above his head. More importantly, he finds where he has retreated to. "Over there!" He gestures his friends to follow him in pursuing Hood.

The commotion alerted the rest of Hood's massive gang into the conflict and supporting their boss with everything in their disposal. While Hood flees, his thugs fight. Their bullets act as his cover that doesn't stop the heroes from chasing him throughout the dock. Both Naoto and Lucina keep running and knocking out all goons in their way, evading bulletfire before the flying Pit grabs and throws the gunner at a crowd. X accompanies Weiss on her Queen Lancer summon, sniping gunmen that were making it difficult pursuing Hood who is fleeing atop containers. A Buster blast from him is avoided by his teleportation. Same goes with Kamala's enlarged hand trying to catch him. And Tails's Spin Dash. Even Palutena's power of caging fails to cage him for even a second before he retaliates with bullets and the hot pursuit becomes led by Spider-Man.

"Listen to me, Robbins! The Lifeline Tablet is too powerful for anyone to control! You could risk destroying yourself and your new gang, not just Kingpin!" Spidey tries reasoning with him, while struggling to web him up.

"I got these boots and cloak from Dormammu and I'm handling them just fine. The tablet's nothing to worry about." Hood quipped, easily warping away from his webs.

"Thought so. His power came from the Dread Lord himself. That explains why he felt comfortable with the Grimm." Palutena commented amidst her flight.

Suddenly, Palutena is ambushed by a Boarbatusk Grimm that spindashes her off the air. More Grimm are summoned by Hood to assist in dealing with the heroes, prompting Blake to leap into the goddess's support and kill the boar demon. "Speaking of Grimm! Looks like he adopted some as his guard dogs!" She joked, switching to her gun to shoot others caught by her sight.

The chase of The Hood continues on, with the crimeboss running atop one container and Sonic running across another parallel to him. The hedgehog jumps across to kick him but misses because of his teleportation. Again and again he struggles to land a single blow, growing more irritated with each attempt. Just when it seems he's about to land a definite strike, Hood warps away as instantly as a Nevermore charging at the shocked Sonic. Ruby then tags in, using her Teleportation Cross Art to even the odds. Both combatants engage in a fearsome teleport clash all over Port Elizabeth, sharing blitzing bulletfire that scratch the other. "Can tell you're still a newbie teleporter! You'll never best me!" Hood mocked, surprising the huntress with a teleporting kick from behind.

"Try your best then! Running away is what you're good at." Ruby retorted, firing shots that force Hood into retreating toward the edge of the port. He would've teleported away from the docks completely if it wasn't for Palutena's barrier, violently repelling him with light magic that causes him to crash down.

"Smart. You locked me out." Hood grunted, struggling a bit to stand back up.

"You're stuck in here 'til you surrender the tablet." Spidey demanded, just as the whole team regroup to confront the criminal.

Suspiciously, Hood smirks, "Am I trapped in here with you, or are you trapped in here with us?"

Gravity is then manipulated out of nowhere to crush the heroes with agonizing force. Electric blasts and a giant rolling armadillo both collide with them, knocking them back and leaving them bewildered by what just happened. They see the smiling Hood being joined by his underlings. But not ordinary henchmen. Supervillains. Several of them. Among them being Graviton, the electrifying armored crook Shockwave, and the mutated Armadillo.

"That's a lot of supervillains." Kamala joked worriedly.

"Meet my most powerful members. The recent breakout may have left most of them free but they were struggling to get by, so I gave them some money and a new home. I'm not just planning to become the new Kingpin, but the new leader of all supervillains." Hood explained just how he formed this gang.

"You're no Masters of Evil. Just a bunch of C-Listers that are going right back to jail." Spidey snarked.

"Who are you calling a C-Lister? I took on Hulk!" The metallic Ironclad scowled.

"We just stole some ISO-8. That'll make killing you easier." taunted Razor-Fist, a martial artist with steel blades for hands.

"Yeah? Just try!" Naoto taunted whilst striking his fighting stance.

All the supervillains let out mighty roars as they charge into an epic showdown with the Dimensional Avengers. Everyone has someone to fight and everyone is displaying good performances. The flying Shockwave fires painful electric blasts at Ms. Marvel that she retaliates by enlarging her hand to grab his leg and smash him onto a container. The surgically-altered Griffin swoops at Yang and fails to catch her before she mounts him, forcibly taking control of his wings and having fun by crashing him through numerous thugs facefirst. Palutena is pinned strong onto a container by Graviton's unbreakable power but was able to warp away from both his grasp and the debris he threw at her, hitting him with Explosive Flame that knocks him down. Armadillo overpowers Sonic's Spin Dash with a Spin Dash of his own, then fails to claw him when the hedgehog jumps over his attack to kick him across the face. Knuckles felt good upon landing a strong attack on Nitro, a living bomb that quickly makes the echidna regret being so close to his self-explosion that sends him flying across the dock. The mutant Mandrill strikes an advantage over Weiss by using his pheromones to control her mind and force her to fight her own friends, until an electric web shot from Spidey snaps her out of it and enables her to get her revenge on the terrified baboon. Lucina and Razor-Fist duel with their respective blades for a fierce moment, resulting in the princess exalt literally disarming him before kicking him in the face. Amy's hammer doesn't even tickle Ironclad before his fist hammers her. The gaseous Vapor catches Ruby with her poisonous gas which nearly kills her, until she used her Semblance to tornado both her poison and the gassy girl into the sky. The radioactive X-Ray fires blasts that endanger X and turns invisible to avoid his counters, prompting the Maverick Hunter to think smart by attacking with Soul Body to disrupt his energy field. Then there is Vermin, a man mutated into a human-sized rat that pins Jin down with his snarling savagery before the young devil manage to throw him aside.

In the midst of holding his own against Vector's psychokinesis, Spidey glances at Hood retreating from the fight with his teleportation. "You four!" Spidey shouts at Naoto, Blake, Tails, and Pit, telling them, "Go after Hood! We'll take care of everything-!", before being humorously flung through the sky by his opponent's powers, "HEEEEEERRRRRREEEE!"

"Spider-Man!" The concerned Blake shouted.

"Your turn to fly." Vector threatened them, only to be interrupted by the returning Spidey and his web-zipping kick across the face.

With his Hunter Eye, Naoto leads his small squad in a final pursuit of The Hood. They chase him to the north and into a large barge. This is his hideout. Giving off a foreboding aura that smells like a trap. Not enough to worry the heroes in the least. They advance deeper into the ship and bust through countless lackeys that failed as the last line of defense. Because before the four heroes knew it, they have cornered their target.

BGM End

Demonic energy burst in what appears to be his chamber of everything he has stolen throughout his career. The Hood emerges from the energy with his guns equipped and his eyes sharing threatening glares with the heroes that have arrived to arrest him. "Nowhere else to run." Naoto taunted him.

"Fine by me. I'll take you down in here while my gang finishes off your friends outside. The good ol' divide and conquer plan." Hood smiled, feeling overly arrogant.

"You underestimate us. That's why you'll never beat Kingpin." Blake retorted coldly, striking a nerve that causes him to lose his smile and replace it with an irritated frown.

"You punks are the real idiots. Wastin' your time with me when all I want is to be the best." Hood argued, being cryptic with those words. The heroes don't have time to think about that however. Not with the cloaked criminal threatening to kill them with his dual pistols. "That's gonna cost ya." He joked with a smile that expresses cockiness yet determination to defeat the heroes once and for all.

BGM-Spider-Man 2: The Game (2004) OST-Hairy Legs

The Hood starts this final battle off with a relentless gun barrage targeting the heroes. Both Blake and Naoto jump aside while Tails and Pit take flight to dodge his bullets, the latter two countering with their own projectiles that push the criminal aback. Blake uses this chance to launch herself from a wall for a blitzing slash. Robbins saw this coming and teleports away from it, as quickly as Naoto surprising him with a powerful punch that sends him crashing into his stolen goods that all pile atop of him. The Bloodedge Kindred rushes to continue the assault while he's down but is caught by surprise when Hood's not found underneath the rubble. Only his active grenades that blow away the high schooler. The teleporting Hood appears above the other three, spiraling down in midair while firing his guns that force them away. Pit flies but is quickly struck by Hood's bullets, causing him to crash and hurry to cover alongside his friends.

"Ah! Magic bullets hurt." Pit grunted in pain.

"We need to disarm him, the guns and everything!" Naoto suggested, rushing back into the fight to distract Robbins.

"You're gonna have to goad him! Use your Semblance!" Tails ordered Blake with his quick-thinking plan that might weaken their enemy.

"Okay!" Blake nodded with acknowledgement.

Naoto starts their counterattack by charging headfirst for Hood. The cloaked crook fires his guns at him, who ducks under them in time to manifest a blood lance and thrust it forward into cutting a piece of Hood's namesake when he tried dodging it. Annoyed at that close call, Robbins goes for a teleporting, point-blank headshot that was avoided by Tails flying his friend away at the nick of time. "You'll never become the Kingpin, Robbins." Blake returns to the fight with rapidfire bullets of her own that force her foe to teleport to the shadows. "Doubt anyone will respect you even if you did. You were a two-bit punk when you started out. You're a two-bit punk now and forever." She taunted him, which is all part of the plan.

Blake stands in one place and pretends to be oblivious when Hood teleports behind for a sneaking attack. "Things can change." He then shoots at what is really her Fire Dust clone, causing an explosion and smoke that gets him into a coughing fit. The real Blake uses this opportunity to disarm him of his guns before Tails smacks him to a position for Pit to take advantage of. Bombarding him with multiple blasts from his Palutena Blade before landing a powerful charged shot that causes the crimeboss to collapse onto a knee.

"Booyah! Direct hit!" Pit expressed.

Unfortunately the heroes are about to regret pushing Hood to his limits. Unstable dark energies are radiating from his cloak and causing its owner to struggle containing it. "Noooooo…! What did you do…?" Hood grunted in pain.

"Hey, uh, are you alright? You're not looking too good." The concerned Pit asked.

"His numbers…They're skyrocketing!" Naoto sensed, looking at his lifeforce mutating into something corruptive.

The dark power begins to overwhelm Robbins, causing him to go, "I have to…Can't…losing…control…", until he transforms into something else entirely. His evil magic has warped him into a monstrous creature with gaping jaws, roaring, "GRAAAAAAAARRRR!", that frighten the heroes. He targets Pit first with a demonic lunge that pins him down to the ground and savages him with his new deadly claws. Blake rushes to his rescue only to be knocked back by the transformed Hood throwing the angel at her. His rampage doesn't stop. Reaching deep into his granted power, Hood casts out an arc of chaotic lightning that smashes Tails then Naoto through the chamber.

"What the hell just happened?!" The pained Naoto grunted from surviving that rampage.

"He lost control of the cloak's power and it transformed him. Must be because of Pit's attacks." Tails claimed.

"Wish I knew about that earlier!" Pit quipped, clashing against Hood's claws with his dual blades.

"Palutena said as much when we got here! This is what happens when you get your powers from a devil." Blake retorted, reminding him that Hood's darkness is weak to light magic.

"Hope Jin never turns out like him." Pit remarked.

"Just keep hitting him!" Tails advised.

"Keep HIM still!" Pit snarked, before he too is zapped by dark lightning.

Blake tags in to support Pit, tricking Demon Hood into striking her Ice Dust clone that freezes his arm in place and makes it easier for Pit to target him. Didn't last once he frees himself with a burst of demonic fire, dodging Pit's arrow and uppercutting Blake so she can be used as a flail to assault the angel and Tails until he's bored with the faunus and throws her aside. "Warned you. Made a big mistake crossing me." The transformed Hood mocked them.

The others have taken a beating and need a moment to recover. Only Naoto volunteers to give them that as he confronts the demonic criminal with a determined stance and a threatening glare. "Pit, get ready! Gonna get you that opening to hit him with everything!" Naoto ordered the angel, before returning his full attention back to his enemy. "You wanna get serious, you long-tongue bastard? Okay! I'll play by your rules! Bloodedge, Full Drive!" He proclaimed fiercely.

BGM-BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle OST-Jaeger

For the first time since arriving in the Unified World, Naoto is going all-out with his Drive. Amazing energies burst from his right arm upon unleashing the full power of the Bloodedge. Power so incredible that it causes his hair and eyes to change color, white and red respectively. His new friends are amazed by this overdrive. Moreso when they see it in action.

A vicious lunge from Demon Hood is swayed back by Naoto, who counters with a punch that leads to his Grim of Phantom technique. He knee-kicks him into the air and forms a giant battle-axe of blood that smashes his opponent. The transformed teenager continues to pummel the demon with fists and kicks until he sends him flying onto a wall, enraging Robbins into firing wild lightning bolts that confuse him and rocketing from his position to grab the hero by his face, smashing him onto another wall. Hood was about to claw out his face when Blake knocks him aside followed by Tails binding him with an energy tether gadget. The criminal frees himself with his teleportation, but this time Naoto's heightened senses helps him sense his movements, shouting, "Got you! Slash Kaid!", and hitting the reappearing Hood with a bloody reap-slash.

Hood is down on his knees and too exhausted to continue fighting. This is their chance to finally defeat him. "Now, Pit!" Tails shouted at him to take the shot.

"Let the light purify you!" Pit fires a charged arrow shot from his Palutena Bow that stabs Robbins in the heart.

Light is leaking from his chest and Demon Hood is roaring in excruciating agony. Too much in pain to notice Naoto preparing his finisher. "You're done! DIVINE SMASHER!" He charges himself at his enemy with a powerful straight punch covered in a large surge of blood. He punches him so hard in the light that he purifies him, returning him to his normal form whilst being smashed out of the cloak's demonic grasp. Hood is knocked unconscious. And both his boots and cloak are sealed within an Interdimensional Orb by Tails to prevent them from corrupting anyone else again.

BGM End

"You've been uncloaked." Pit punned at their enemy's defeat, which didn't amuse the others much besides Naoto.

"Clever." Naoto laughs whilst deactivating his Drive.

Meanwhile…

The rest of Hood's Gang is being taken down by the other Dimensional Avengers. One by one they fall to their superior power and teamwork. Jin kicks down Vermin. Weiss freezes Mandril. Sonic spindashes Armadillo. Yang overpowers Griffin. Ms. Marvel claps Shockwave. Palutena blasts Graviton. Lucina slashes Razor-Fist. Knuckles punches Nitro. And the U-Foes are beaten by the combined powers of Amy, Ruby, X, and Spider-Man. All 12 supervillains are piled atop each other. All lying unconscious before the victorious heroes.

BGM-Project X Zone 2 OST-Because It's The Right Path

"Is that it? That everyone?" Ms. Marvel wondered.

"Yup. We cleaned house. Didn't know taking out gangsters would be so thrilling." Sonic smiles at their victory.

"What about the rest of our friends that were pursuing Hood?" Lucina voiced her concerns.

"Give me a sec." Spider-Man taps into their comlink to get in contact with Tails's squad. "Tails, this is Spidey. Everything okay?"

'We're fine. We just took down Hood and searching through his stuff. We're not seeing the Tablet anywhere so far.' Tails reported.

"Keep searching. He must have it somewhere." Spidey ordered.

"How about we leave the rest to STRIKE. Call them for cleanup and interrogation. Maria Hill wouldn't mind." Palutena suggested to her leader.

Spidey chuckles, "No. She'll love to be rough on him. Okay. We can take a break on the Tricarrier."

"Awesome! This day just keeps getting better and better!" The excited Kamala smiles as she always wanted to visit the Tricarrier.

"Let's be happy that we took down a criminal empire before it got too powerful. And recaptured more prisoners that escaped from the Prison Raft." X smiled.

"Yeah. This team is getting more incredible every day." Weiss grinned proudly.

"Let's keep up the momentum. This way could lead to Kingpin's downfall." Jin hoped with a small smirk.

"Can't wait for that day to come." Spidey smiled, taking pride in their accomplishments so far.

BGM End

Later at the S.T.R.I.K.E. Tricarrier…

"This STRIKE thing must be serious business if you guys get to hang out in a giant flying ship." Naoto said, hanging out with the Dimensional Avengers in a break room after a tiring day of shutting down the Hood's operations.

"Has to be considering what we're up against." Amy responded, sharing drinks and snacks with anyone that wants one.

"Is Hill done interrogating Hood yet?" Sonic asked impatiently, lying down on a sofa.

"Be patient. We'll learn something soon." Weiss scolded, taking a sip from her tea.

"You showed off some impressive power, Naoto. We couldn't have beaten Hood without you." Blake compliments the otherworldly high schooler.

Slightly embarrassed, Naoto smiles, "Y-You're welcome. Just wish I could be that useful in finding the person I'm searching for."

"Have any clues who they are?" Tails asked, wanting to help.

"Just that they're an old friend of my friend, Raquel Alucard, and that they're some kind of warlock." Naoto said.

"Warlock? We know plenty of wizards. Could you be talking about Doctor Strange?" Yang wondered.

"Strange is a sorcerer." Lucina corrected her with a deadpan look.

"What's the difference?" Yang retorted humorously.

"I think he's talking about Adam Warlock." Ms. Marvel chimes into the conversation.

BGM-BlazBlue: Continuum Shift OST-Premonition

"THAT Warlock? Now that's a name I haven't heard of in a long time." Spider-Man retorted, expressing great interest and slight shock at that familiar name.

"You know this guy?" The curious Knuckles questioned him.

"Yeah. First met him when I got rocketed to the moon. He's like some kind of wandering sage that explores the universe. Honestly I don't know much about him, except that he's really powerful and has helped save my universe from its greatest threats." Spider-Man explained, reminiscing his first meeting with the cosmic guardian.

"Where was he during the Incursions then?" Weiss asked him in annoyance.

"How should I know? I don't follow him on Twitter. I don't think he even has one." Spidey quipped.

"What made Warlock so powerful?" Lucina asked.

"It's all thanks to the Soul Stone he likes to stick to his forehead." Spidey gestured, pointing at his own forehead.

"One of the six Infinity Stones?" Palutena expresses her shock upon hearing this.

"Yup. Guy's mysterious but seemed to know a lot about the universe's secrets. If there's anyone that might know what's going on, it's him." Spidey claimed.

"Why does Raquel want me to find a guy like him? Can you call him?" The confused Naoto requested, wanting to meet Warlock personally.

"I'll try. Like I said, we're not exactly close, so I'll have STRIKE get the message out." Spidey replied, accepting his request.

"Thanks." Naoto smiled gratefully.

After that interesting talk about Warlock, Maria Hill enters the break room. "Agent Hill. Did Hood confess where he's hiding the Tablet?" X asked her.

"Yes, and you're not going to like it." Hill snarked.

"Ooooh no, what did he do?" Spidey responded worriedly, having a bad feeling about this.

"Ask him yourself." Hill replied.

BGM End

Hill leads the heroes to the interrogation room. In there, it is quiet and bland. There is nothing except for The Hood dressed as a prisoner and strapped onto a chair. He notices the heroes with his bruised face, gifted to him by Hill's interrogation tactics. "Here to rough me up some more?" The Hood joked at them, even in the tense situation he got himself in.

"If you don't start talking. Where's the Tablet?" Jin demanded with a cold threatening expression.

"Simple. I sold it." Hood answered, both truthfully and casually.

"You did WHAT?!" Spidey freaks out, with the rest of his friends looking just as flabbergasted from hearing the all-powerful Lifeline Tablet was sold off.

"When?!" The surprised Weiss asked.

"Last night." Hood answered.

"Seriously?!" Sonic facepalmed in disappointment.

"You would've become a god with that thing! Why did you sell it?!" The astonished Pit asked.

"Money's better." Hood snarked.

"Son of a…" Yang shrugs out her frustrations, trying so hard not beat him up for making such a stupid decision.

"All this time we were on a wild goose chase?!" Naoto realized they've been duped.

"Told you so but you didn't listen." Hood mocked the heroes.

Suddenly, Hood is fearing for his life when Lucina brandishes her sword so close to his throat. "We're all ears now. Tell us who you sold the tablet to." She threatened him with both a scary voice and an intimidating glare that will make him talk if he knows what is good for him.

"Alright alright! Everything went down at Madripoor! Or what they're now calling 'Mistripoor'…" Hood complied as he begins to recall the night he sold off the Lifeline Tablet.

Last Night…At Mistripoor.

Mistripoor. Fusion between Earth's Madripoor and Remnant's Mistral. About as wretched a hive of scum and villainy as anyone can imagine. Atop a skyscraper under a full moon there is a Hydra squadron waiting for something, or someone with something to give them. "Madame Hydra?" A Hydra Soldier turns to his superior, growing impatient with all this waiting.

"Wait for it. He likes to make an entrance." said Viper, the current Madame Hydra.

Suddenly, The Hood teleports in front of the terrorists that quickly point their weapons at him. "No, no! Everybody settle down." Viper gestures her men to not fire as Hood is the person they've been waiting for, "We're here to do business. Isn't that right, Mr. Robbins?"

"You have my money?" Hood asked with his guns locked and loaded.

"Do you have the Tablet?" Viper retorted.

It was just a short while ago when Hood stole the Lifeline Tablet from the Dimensional Avengers. All this time he had made a deal with Hydra. To steal for them ultimate power in exchange for ultimate money. The cloaked criminal takes the relic out of his cloak and hands it over to the terrorist leader, who smiles at it, "Well done."

"And now, it's my turn." Hood said.

"It is." Viper replied.

"You have something for me?" Hood asked for his money.

"I do." Viper responded with an ominous smile.

BGM-Bleach OST-Storm Center

Some Hydra Soldiers active their jetpacks as the whole squadron surround and threaten the lonely Hood with their advanced weaponry. "I KNEW you were gonna try and pull something." Hood scowled, unsurprised by the betrayal.

"Sure you did." Viper snarked.

Countering her snark with his confidence, Hood smirks, "Actually, I did. That's why I always have a backup plan. That's why I brought The Hand.", then teleports away just in time to give room for a band of immortal red ninjas to flood the rooftop.

A vicious clash between Hydra and The Hand. The sudden attack from the latter caught their enemies by surprise and they were quickly overwhelmed. Their swords make mincemeat of them. Their kicks mess up their faces. It is a losing battle that Viper is trying to flee from with the Tablet, only to be blocked by the beautiful leader of these ninjas, Elektra Natchios.

"Elektra." Viper threatens her with her gun.

"Madame Hydra." Elektra threatens her with her famous twin sai.

The duel between the two ladies is brief, with Viper's shots missing and Elektra disarming her with her sai before forcing her to drop herself and the tablet with a kick. Viper tries to reclaim it but both the master assassin and a returning Hood made her rethink her choices, deciding to retreat by jumping to be caught by a flying Hydra Soldier. "GO!" Viper shouted, flying into the night and forcing Hood to cease his bulletfire at her.

BGM End

"Do we have a deal?" Elektra asked Hood for what they offered each other in secret.

"The Tablet is yours, Elektra. Sold." Hood smiled, officially selling the Lifeline Tablet to The Hand.

Back in the Present Day…

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Fu's Plot

"…and that's who has the Tablet now." The Hood sighs after telling his tale to the Dimensional Avengers.

"You sold it to The Hand?" Spider-Man retorted, completely dumbfounded that he sold the relic to an even more dangerous enemy.

"Yep." Hood answered casually. "So while you pretty boys are here dancing with me, they're out there making this new world in their image. So the question is, how long are you gonna stand here staring at me?" He taunted the heroes with his smirk as they now need to hurry and stop The Hand from using the tablet to conquer the unified world.

KFX Here: Hey everyone. Just want to spend this moment to mourn the recent loss of manga legend, Akira Toriyama. He died on March 1st and it was made public on March 8th. He was the creator of Dragon Ball, my favorite anime series of all time. When I first heard about his death, I was both shocked and in immediate denial. It's no secret that Dragon Ball has a great influence on my stories, even after I toned it down in recent years. But if it wasn't for Toriyama, I may have never become a fanfic writer. So thank you, Toriyama, for inspiring me and countless other fans around the world. May your legacy shine as bright as the Dragon Balls.
