Demon Village, Makai Kingdom. Crossverse. (2 Days Since The Convergence)

The Makai Kingdom is one of the seven Cross Worlds in this Crossverse. Your average demon realm that is home to many supernatural beings like the Darkstalkers. No one sane would dare to visit here, unless they are trying to solve the mysteries of the Crossverse. One person is taking that risk after emerging from a star-shaped portal that brings her to Demon Village, a graveyard set within a dark forest and next to a river of blood. She appears to be a beautiful long-haired Latin-American woman, wearing an American-styled jacket and black hot pants that totally makes her out of place in this demon world.

"Made it. Another demon dimension. My favorites…Now to figure out why this part of the multiverse feels off." The Mystery Alien that is no stranger to spouting sarcasm closes her eyes to be serious on her hyper-cosmic awareness. This gives her a metaphysical insight to the goings on of the multiverse and it might help her understand the Crossverse better. "Oh god." She then opens her stern eyes after that, "It's worse than I thought. This world has become connected with six others by a…tree of stars. That one dimension in the center feels mashed together. That's new. This has the Star Stone written all over it. What did the Star Killer do this time?" She muttered, voicing her knowledge of the Exo Stones. "Doesn't change my plans. Gonna find him, punch him in the face, take back the Star Stone, and return everything to normal. I won't let my people's death be in vain. He WILL pay for what he's done." She scowled with a raised clenched fist, expressing vengeance on a mysterious enemy that sounds to be in possession of the Star Stone.

BGM-Darkstalkers 3 OST-Iron Horse, Iron Terror

The Latina woman was about to make her dimensional exit when she is interrupted by the local inhabitants. Soul Bees, a race of humanoid insects that only hunger for souls, and they have come to feast on her unique spirit. "Look…A human." A Soul Bee said innocently while her kind surrounds the lone woman.

"I get that a lot. I'm actually a Fuertona." The Mystery Alien quipped.

"Fuertona? Are you…Nutritious? Poisonous? Delicious?" Another curious Soul Bee asked.

"All of the above. Come closer and I'll give you a serving of these hands." The Mystery Alien smirks amidst her taunt, palming her fist that is oozing with confidence and the dimensional power to end them quickly.

BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-New Stark City

Things are a bit calmer now that the gang war was stopped. Kingpin is in jail. Gorgon and The Hand are beaten. And the Iron Hydra Empire will be taking it easy until they unleash their next dastardly scheme. With them out of the way, S.T.R.I.K.E.'s Delta Team can focus more on their Convergence research, and they are making progress thanks to the agents being led by some of this merged world's smartest scientists. Mister Fantastic and Doctor Jemma Simmons are in charge of this team, overlooking the likes of charts and the Convergence Map. Uncle Chuck and Doctor Light are studying the Convergium Particles and their unique variants. And Tony Stark is working with a Solkarian scientist that has the last name of Polendina in developing new interdimensional technologies that can measure and detect cosmic anomalies. A very busy day, made easier by a surprise visit from Sonic, Spider-Man, and Ruby.

"Dimensional Avengers! Good to see you." Mister Fantastic smiles at his young visitors.

"So you're the Dimensional Avengers. We finally meet. Heard you've been good friends with my daughter." Doctor Polendina said, greeting them on his advanced robochair.

"And who would that be?" The confused Sonic asked.

"Penny. I'm her creator. Doctor Pietro Polendina. Was invited to S.T.R.I.K.E. to help with the Convergence research." He introduced himself to them.

"Oh yeah. I do remember Penny mentioning you. So nice to finally meet her dad. What's Penny doing?" Ruby happily smiled, shaking hands with her android friend's father.

"In the middle of testing her upgrades. You'll meet her soon. Congrats in defeating the Kingpin last night. Heard he was quite the menace." Pietro said, leading them to the rest of the science team.

"In overeating." Spider-Man quipped. "All in a day's work, Dr. Polendina. Thought we stop by and get an update on Operation: Reverse Convergence." He revealed his intention for coming here.

"Unfortunately, we haven't begun formulating a decent method around the reverse half." Reed frowned, holding his holographic tablet.

"But we have amassed a fascinating amount of data detailing the Convergence itself." Doctor Simmons told the heroes.

"Let's hear it!" Spidey exclaimed.

"Look at this…" Reed projects from his tablet recorded footage of Earth, Mobius, and Remnant merging during the Convergence for his guests to look at. "Every Earth or Earth-like planet from every dimension has a different frequency, see? But when those worlds converged, the frequencies got all mixed up together. And because of whatever cosmic force that's upholding the Crossverse, those frequencies were all rebooted. The universes were remade into one stabilized dimension, which gave birth to new environments and resources without shattering all of spacetime. Which is great." He stated whilst turning off the footage. "But if my theory is right, it had another not-so-great effect on the residents of this Unified Universe…" He then projects footage of other heroes feeling different. Like Captain Marvel feeling weaker and Qrow Branwen feeling stronger. "It either weakened or strengthened us, without us even realizing it. It differs from person to person, sure, but the data isn't lying. The longer we're on this Unified World, the more our energy signatures are altered…"

Processing this new information, Spidey comments, "Let me get this straight. We know how Convergium Particles exist in this merged dimension to give heroes and villains an additional superpower in the form of Cross Arts, to make things fairer between us. But you're saying the Convergence itself rebalanced everyone in the general sense. Adjusted our base speed and power like we're fighting characters in a video game that downloaded the latest patch update."

"That about sums it up." Uncle Chuck quipped.

For a moment, Spidey taps into his X-Factor to feel how different it is in this unified world. "Now that you said it, my X-Factor and The Other inside me do feel weaker than normal. And…Green Goblin was different too when we beat him. I want to keep thinking it's cuz he got rusty." He jokingly recalled.

"I feel stronger and faster than ever before. I seem to have more Aura than I did in Remnant. Yang did mention that our natural energies have reached a new form of harmony that gives our Semblances a bit more 'pizzazz'." Ruby commented.

"That's the result of the Convergence. Our general science and magic were reprogrammed to be accessible to all our reorganized residents. For instance, we discovered Dust is now capable of functioning outside the planet's atmosphere. Not to mention some Mobians developing X-Genes and some Faunus transformed into Human or Inhuman." Tony informed the teenagers.

"Crazy." Sonic remarked in slight awe.

"Think that is, check this out." Pietro hands Spidey a vial container sealing an unfamiliar purple crystal resembling a blooming lotus flower. "A crystalized form of Convergium energy that our research teams have discovered. We're calling them Convergium Crystals, and here's a test of one powering our little new experiment over here." He then leads the teens to a special device powered by a Convergium Crystal to create something new from rockets and a pair of sneakers. "They are capable of separating particles and then fuses them together in new ways. In essence, they simulate Convergence to create new hybrid equipment." The device fuses the two items together into something unexpected. A pogo spring, much to the teens' confusion and Pietro's disappointment, "Final results may vary, but fortunately nothing's exploded on us yet."

"Oh, can I fuse my Crescent Rose with Iron Man Armor?! I can see it now! The Ultimate Iron Rose Armor that can scythe hundreds of Grimm in a blink of an eye and snipe 'em from halfway around the world!" Ruby excitedly proposed to the scientists.

"That sounds awesome! Let's try it!" Tony fully supports her idea.

"Later once we can safely predict the final outcome." Doctor Light sweatdropped in his hologram form.

"For the most part, this world is well-made. No way a natural disaster could've created this. Someone is definitely behind the scene of all this. Someone smart enough, powerful enough, and crazy enough to create the Convergence without anyone realizing it." Spidey noted sternly.

"Has to be someone with the Star Stone. We don't anything about it or where it is, but when looking back at the recent pattern of an Exo Stone nearly destroying all reality each week, it must be playing a role." Chuck commented.

"Maybe Nu-13 might know something. She's obviously working for someone and we know zilch where she's from." Ruby proposed.

"Actually, we just traced her energy signature back to her home dimension. It's one of the Cross Spaces that I have named 'Azure Earth'. Out of all of them, it's the only world we're not too familiar with." Simmons proclaimed, displaying an holo-image of the mysterious Azure Earth.

"What have you called the other Cross Spaces?" Spidey asked.

"Lady Tiki suggested we'd designate her Cross Space as 'Archanea' and I have named mine 'Arcadia'. All of them are in the middle investigating any anomalies as we speak." Dr. Light answered.

"Still don't have a name for this Fused World." Sonic casually realized.

"In the meantime, we'd better investigate Azure Earth to find Nu and find anyone there that wants to help. Anyone going?" Ruby inquired.

"A group from Gamma Team is about to head out." Reed responded.

"Great, I'll join them. Dimensional Avengers are ambassadors after all. It's how we're already friends with the other Cross Spaces." Ruby decided, before smiling at her two best friends, "You two coming?"

"I'll pass this time. Wanna explore more of this merged world at my own pace." Sonic denied her off.

"Spidey?" asked Ruby, turning her curious look to him.

"No thanks. I'll be in the city if anyone needs me…" Spidey declined with subtle depression as he's ready to head out.

"Okay. See you later, Docs!" Ruby smiled, waving goodbye as the Dimensional Leaders exit the laboratory.

"Stay safe, kids!" Reed retorted.

BGM-Mega Man X7 OST-Suffering

'So, not only I'm weaker than usual but normal folk were transformed in ways they never wanted to become. How "perfectly" balanced.'

The sarcastic Peter is out of his costume spending his break from STRIKE brooding on the sidewalks of his reluctant new home. He minds his own business walking past people that are experiencing their own brand of weirdness, like a former New Yorker that resembles Stan Lee unlocking a Semblance. The hidden vigilante is lost in thought as he still struggles to accept this Unified World that he feels guilty about bringing into existence. 'The more I learn about the Convergence, the more I keep kicking myself for not seeing it coming. I messed up. I deserve to be punished. Not all our worlds. There's no balance for EVERYONE feeling miserable from losing their homes and loved ones.' One family that catches his eye proves his point. A father and his little daughter, mourning the loss of their apartment building and the death of the wife and the big brother, all because of the Convergence. Peter feels guiltier, handing them a flyer about F.E.A.S.T. before continuing his sorrowful walk. 'I'm glad we beat Kingpin, but we're still nowhere close in cleaning up this merged mess. There's Nu and the Iron Hydra Empire to worry about now. And who knows what the Masters of Evil have been up to. I told myself I must remain optimistic for everyone's sake. Madame Web mentioned I need kindred spirits to help me get through this, but who out there understands how I'm feeling? Blake maybe? Might be a bit awkward to talk to her after the breakup. I want to doubt Web, but I've learned the hard way she ends up being right about this stuff. But how can I find these people? It'll be like finding a needle in a haystack. And what if I don't like 'em? Guess that WOULD defeat the meaning of "kindred spirit".' He wondered.

Feeling depressed is about to make him feel embarrassed when he doesn't see who he's going to bump into. Peter accidently walks into a handsome young man's back that shares his age and almost causes him to let go of his beautiful female friend's wheelchair. "Are you okay?" The concerned Young Man asked the hidden hero.

"I'm fine. Sorry about that. My fault for not paying attention. I have a lot on my mind." Peter apologized sheepishly.

"It's okay. At least no one is hurt." The Young Man smiled.

"Hey quick question. Are you from Earth?" The Paraplegic Woman asked while scanning him with a highly advanced handheld.

"Huh? Yeah, my name is Peter Parker. Sounds like you two are from one of the other two worlds that were caught in the Convergence." Peter introduced himself to the two otherworldly teenagers.

BGM-Sonic X OST-Encounter With Chris

"Yup. Both of us are from Mobius. My name is Chris Thorndyke, and this is my friend, Helen." greeted Christropher Thorndyke, a kind young genius that is the son between a famous actress and a wealthy businessman.

"Nice to meet you, Peter." smiled Helen, a computer expert that has spent much of her life on a wheelchair.

"Right back at ya. So how did you know I'm from Earth? Is it because of that device?" Peter pointed out.

"Kinda. It's our prototype Phase Meter designed to measure the cosmic energy anomalies in this merged world. We've been using it to study the changes in everyone's energy signatures." Helen explained their invention.

"I've heard. Before we all had distinct energy signatures that identify which dimension we're from. Can I see?" Peter request for her Phase Meter, which she gladly hands him to interact for a moment, "Wow, this is some advanced tech. If you want, I can share you my notes of what I learned. Turns out we became part of a whole new multiversal cosmology."

"For real? Amazing! This is bigger than we thought. We're on our way in getting that Nobel Prize." Helen joked amidst her amazement, eliciting a laugh from both Chris and her new friend.

"Take it you're studying into becoming a scientist one day." Chris said to Peter, sensing a kindred spirit in him.

"If I don't keep missing my classes." Peter quipped. "A friend and I actually were about to open our own little science program called the Worldwide Engineering Brigade. Or W.E.B. for short, wasn't my idea. We have a high-tech facility downtown with the purpose of bringing together the world's brightest and youngest innovators to create new technologies for the public. But with everything that's happened, we had to put those plans on hold." He told his new friends about his science program.

"That's terrible." Chris gasped in shock.

The guilty Peter frowns, "It's my fault. If I had opened sooner, we could've developed the tech that would've detected the Convergence and prevent it from happening. But I didn't…and we're all paying the price for my ignorance."

"Don't blame yourself. No one could've seen this coming." Helen frowned, trying to reassure him.

"But I have…peers that warned me something like this would happen and I thought I was ready. My mistake was underestimating the threat." Peter argued somberly, expressing his issues to these strangers while hiding his secret identity.

"More like overestimating yourself." Chris refuted, "Even if you did know of the Convergence coming, there was no way you could've stopped something like this. You're just being too hard on yourself. Can't take responsibility for every problem."

"Kinda have no choice. I have great gifts that're supposed to make me a great leader to account for all of that. It's this kind of disaster is the reason why I formed WEB in the first place. To inspire everyone to be greater and help each other." Peter contested.

"Nothing wrong with that. But it's clear you lost certainty and you're doubting yourself. Being a man of science is no picnic. My grandpa and I can attest to that. My advice is to just have friends put their faith in you." Chris advised with an encouraging smile.

"Really? Even if I end up messing things up?" The curious Peter remarked.

"Everyone has a limit. We're only human. There is no shame in accepting your limitations and be grateful that you're still alive to try again. Take advantage of the scientific method. You've already observed what the Convergence did and want to know how to fix it. The only way to come to that conclusion is with research, hypothesizing, experimenting, and analyzing the data. Even if the result isn't what you wanted, at least you can be proud you gave it your all." Chris elaborates on his words of encouragement.

"That's…not a bad idea. I might do it." Peter replied, resonating with his grateful advice that makes him note that he did his best against the Convergence and must try even harder to reverse the damage, if possible.

"No need to wait. Let's start now! How about we use WEB to help clean up the city? There's no better opportunity." Helen happily suggested.

"Great idea, Helen. Guess I can give you two early access. Follow me!" Peter gestured, feeling a little better about himself thanks to his two new friends that share his love for science and responsibility.

Gamma Desert.

BGM-Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST-Dusty Desert (Quicksand)

Gamma Desert. A haunted desert surrounded by many ancient Egyptian ruins and scarred by gamma radiation. Another new location created by the Convergence after fusing Mobius's Hidden Base Zone with Earth's Los Diablos. There is a lot of space for a superfast speedster like Sonic to enjoy as he runs through the canyon carefree and explorative during his break from STRIKE missions. "Oh yeah, I'm feeling much faster than I was on Mobius! This Convergence ain't so bad after all! Woohoo! Wooooo!" He expresses his enjoyment by making fun noises and stretching out his arms like he's a kid pretending he's an airplane. The hedgehog runs through the ruins of an abandoned military base that reminds him of something, "According to the Convergence Map, they're calling this place the Gamma Desert. This's what you get for merging Eggman's old pyramid base with Los Diablos. Hear that's where the Hulk was born. No wonder the air here feels strong. Whole place is saturated with gamma energy."

Upon approaching a massive crater, Sonic brakes at its outer edge to whistle in amazement at the site. "Convergence did nothing to fix this crater. That Gamma Bomb must've been huge. Banner was tough before he ate green." Sonic commented.

Sonic slides down to the crater's center for curiosity's sake. He can feel the ambient gamma energy in this spot but he's not worried he'll Hulk-out. His curiosity grows stronger as he pats the sand with his foot to feel anything else, any deeper meaning. Instead, he gets a headache that retriggers his visions about the Ultimate Evil and his looming threat over the multiverse. "My head…It's those Genesis Visions again. Guess it's not healthy standing in the center of a radioactive crater." He joked after his pained grunt. But then he's hit with a new, horrifying vision. Of that Ultimate Evil invading a paradisal dimension with his unstoppable alien army. They destroyed everything and everyone, just to claim what looks to be an Exo Stone. "What the…? That guy…The Alien…He destroyed a whole civilization to steal something. Was that the Star Stone?" Sonic wondered, sporting a grim frown as he says, "Okay. I should take these visions more seriously. Gotta find the meaning behind 'em if we want to stop the creep that wants the Exo Stones."

Right after that, Sonic hears loud sounds coming from within Eggman's old pyramid base. It sounds like a battle, which piques his interest. "Hm? What's going on in there? Better check it out." He expressed by speeding toward the pyramid.

BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite OST-Theme of Captain Marvel

Sonic races into the pyramid base to find a cave-sharking battle happening between two unexpected parties. As quickly as he got near, a defeated Soul Bee was smashed onto the head of a large Eggman statue. The shocked Sonic looks up to find the mysterious Latiana woman flying around fighting a horde of hungry Soul Bees. Whoever the mysterious Latina is, she is both extraordinarily fast and deadly powerful, dodging stingers from multiple angles and countering one Bee's attack by grabbing her wing and spinning her whole body around before sending her flying like a rocket that nearly hits the spectating hedgehog.

"You're one mean beekeeper. No one told me pyramids are giant beehives." Sonic joked, getting the mystery woman's attention.

"They're not. You're a Sonic the Hedgehog, right? Mind lending a hand?" The Mystery Woman retorted, punching a Soul Bee in the face.

"A Sonic the Hedgehog? I'm THE Sonic the Hedgehog! Ain't no one like me 'cept me." Sonic snarked.

"You're a Sonic the Hedgehog alright. Hurry up, Speedy, before I take all the fun from you." The Mystery Woman snarks back whilst her invulnerable arms deflect the barrage of stings from another Soul Bee.

"That wouldn't be nice." Sonic smirked, deciding to join in on her fun.

The Blue Blur jumps high to assault several Soul Bees with his Homing Attacks that stokes the ire of one Bee that dashes her stinger at him, only for the cocky mobian to handspring off her stinger and come back down with a flying kick that knocks her away whilst he lands on a rail to grind through the pyramid alongside the Latiana's flying. "You seem to know me. What's your name?" Sonic asked his newest friend.

"America Chavez. But I don't mind being called Miss America." She introduced herself to him.

"Any relation to Captain America?" Sonic quipped, switching rails to avoid Soul Bees darting at him.

"Besides the red, white and blue, not a thing." America bantered, punching through bee hordes wanting to get in her way. One surprise Soul Bee manage to dive a stabbing sting at the Latiana, who quickly smacks her through a wall, "Wouldn't mind his shield against these stingers though."

"Got no vibranium, but my Insta-Shield should be good enough." Sonic retorted, leaping to her aid against another Bee's sting by performing a midair rapid spiral that creates a temporary shield. This deflects the insect aback so America could kick the spinballing Sonic onto her and her kin, sending them flying through the pyramid cave and past startled Boo ghosts until Sonic smashes the insects onto a wall. "You bees look cute, but Charmy can put up a much better fight." He mocked them.

"Round up the rest and I'll send 'em flying!" Miss America ordered him.

Sonic complies by creating a tornado that gathers all the Soul Bees in the area in time for America to show off something awesome. Her eyes glow with electrifying dimensional energy unlike anything Sonic has encountered before. Her star tattoos on her anterior wrists also glow, and with one mighty punch at nothing, she cracks open spacetime in the form of a star-shaped portal. "Back to the Makai with you!" America taunted, punching the gathered bees into the Star Portal before closing it and allowing them to threaten this dimension again.

"Did you just PUNCH open a portal?" Sonic asked, astonished by her dimensional power.

"Back to their home dimension? Yeah, it's a thing I do." America sassed. "Didn't mean to bring the fight here. Whatever happened that connected these worlds left behind rifts for anyone to cross through." She explained how she ended up here from Makai.

"I've noticed." Sonic responded, recalling how Naoto and Heihachi ended up in this dimension from their own.

"So you're the Sonic the Hedgehog of this universe. You're a bit different from the ones I've met." America conversed.

"By being faster?" Sonic quipped.

"Talking about your lifestyles. Met one that's a king, another part of a sibling rock band, and one that was so green and mean I enjoyed kicking his butt 'cause he was so annoying." America snarks, revealing to have met Sonics from other dimensions. Then she inspects herself upon noticing something, "Now I'm starting to feel a little different. My powers feel readjusted and I think some weird particles got inside me."

"That's the effect of the Convergence." Sonic said, noting she has become infected with Convergium Particles. "So why are you here, Star? You from one of the Cross Spaces?" He asked, wanting to get to know her better.

"No, I'm from outside the neighborhood. Sensed something happened here and thought I should investigate. Think of me as a superhero that goes around protecting dimensions." America smiled, briefing him on her origins.

"Join the club. My friends and I been dimensional defenders for a while now. I assume you have a clue how the Convergence happened. We could use some leads." Sonic replied.

"I have my suspicions. Top of my list is that this was caused by a Stone of unimaginable power that puts the Chaos Emeralds to shame. An ancient artifact that can control the existence of parallel dimensions. Removing the barriers between them could make it possible for worlds to merge." America shared her suspicions with him.

"That sounds a lot like the Jeweled Scepter from Blaze's World. Wait…Could you be talking about the Star Stone?" Sonic wondered.

"How do you know about that?" America retorted, quick to react in both shock and suspicion.

"My team and I have been collecting similar Stones across the multiverse to prevent some bad guys from using them to conquer reality." Sonic answered.

"The Exo Stones. That means…You're one of the Dimensional Avengers that's been fighting the Masters of Evil." America realized, aware of their multiversal legend.

"Yup, that's us." Sonic smiled while his inflated ego makes him wipe his nose.

Now knowing she can trust him, America turns around to punch open another Star Portal that leads to an unknown dimension. "Whatcha doing?" The confused Sonic asked her.

"Sígueme." America sternly ordered him in Spanish.

"English." Sonic sassed.

"I said, follow me. Want to show you just the kind of threat we're up against." America claimed before disappearing through her portal.

BGM-Marvel Future Revolution OST-A.I.M. for the Future

Curious yet intrigued, Sonic wastes little time in following his new friend through the Star Portal. Just a step through the portal and he already finds himself in another dimension, standing with America on some ghostly grey hills that are only lit by the nightly moonlight. "What is this place?" Sonic asked.

"You don't recognize Green Hill?" America snarked.

"This is Green Hill? Never seen it so dark before. Whole Zone looks dead." Sonic retorted, reacting in shock from learning they ended up in an alternate Green Hill Zone.

"Same can be said about the sky." America said, enticing the hedgehog into looking up at the night sky to find nothing but the half-broken moon. Nothing else at all, which bothers him into asking another question.

"Where're the stars?" Sonic inquired, noticing they're not out this night.

"They're gone. Along with all life in this universe." America proclaimed grimly.

Appropriately, Sonic is horrified from hearing that as he immediately retorts, "What?! How?"

"The Star Stone. The monster who stole it used it to extinguish the stars one by one until nothing remained. His alien army has been on a warpath across countless dimensions, destroying everything and everyone that had the smallest scent of life like they did to this world. Heroes from other worlds threw their damn best when he invaded their realities. Wasn't enough. Even your counterparts didn't fare any better against the Obsidian King." America explained, reminiscing the horrors this mystery villain unleashed on the multiverse.

"The Obsidian King …That's who's behind this?" Sonic sternly noted.

America replies, "Yes. Leader of the Cull Obsidian, the Midnight Slaughter. Though I never had the honor to punch him in the face. Spent a lot of time fighting his armies. The Obsidian King is the most despicable villain in all dimensions, and I've visited a LOT of them with their fair share of nasty baddies. "No need to finish. I understand. He won't get away with this." Sonic vowed, "Why not join me in STRIKE? We could use your help."

"Sure. Don't wanna miss any opportunity to punch his lights out. Been a long time coming." America claimed, expressing her casual vengeance for this Rabum Alal.

"Take it this is personal for you." Sonic noticed.

"You have no idea. I lost a lot to him…" America frowned in sad remembrance of the two important people her nemesis took away from her.

"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. Just when you feel like it." Sonic said solemnly, expressing empathy for his new friend.

Officially befriending the hedgehog, America smiles, "Thanks, Sonic. Let's head back.", and punches out a Star Portal that'll return them to the Gamma Desert in the Unified World.

"Gotta know. I'm the fastest Sonic you've met, right?" Sonic casually asked her while they head for the portal.

"Will you whine if I say no?" America snarked.

"Maybe." Sonic quipped.

7th Hierarchical City of Kazamotsu, Azure Earth. Crossverse.

BGM-BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger OST-Hollow

Azure Earth. The 7th Cross Space that was never explored by the Dimensional Avengers until Ruby decided to join Team Gamma in their investigation. A futuristic world that was once saved from total annihilation by Six Heroes and relies on the special fusion between magic and science to live. Gamma Team's investigations led them to a Lakeside Port, made impressive by its tropical trees and the gorgeous lake that Ruby is staring in awe at from afar.

"Wow, this place is so pretty! And there are so many delicious-looking shops! What kind of city is this?" Ruby smiled, while being approached by the Invisible Woman of the Fantastic Four.

"Kazamotsu, according to the townspeople. Apparently, this is one of 23 Hierarchical Cities built atop mountains after some great war polluted most of the planet with a toxic particle substance." Invisible Woman briefed her on.

"Any relation to Convergium Particles?" Ruby asked.

"Minor similarities, but that's research for later. Where're the others?" Susan remarked, as this Lakeside Port is meant to be their rendezvous point.

"Should be here shortly." Ruby responded.

"We are back, my fellow S.T.R.I.K.E. Agents!"

Reuniting with the girls is Owain, Lucina's eccentric cousin. And with him is the detective duo, Vector the Crocodile and Jessica Jones. "What have you learned?" Susan asked her fellow Gamma allies.

"That I'm not liked here very much. Some people think I'm something called a 'beastkin'. Humanoid animals. Which I guess is pretty spot on." Vector replied.

"I wouldn't like you either if my detective agency suddenly fused with yours and I'm forced to pay your bills." Jessica snarked, revealing that she and Vector are in charge of the new Chaotix Investigations, the merged company between Alias Investigations and the Chaotix Detective Agency.

"Work was hard to find on Mobius!" Vector snapped.

"Found anything on Nu-13?" Ruby asked, regaining their focus on more important matters.

"No. Whatever foul villain she is, she is not of the public type. Everyone we asked don't know anything about her. Just rumors of her being a secret superweapon either created by the secretive Sector Seven or the tyrannical Library." Owain answered in typical theatrical fashion.

"You mean the Novus Orbis Librarium. The NOL. We heard they're the military that polices this world, kind of like SHIELD. Think it's time we have a meeting with them." Susan suggested.

"Don't think that's a good idea. People been telling me they're ruthless and have been wrapped up in their own problems lately. If they find out we're not from here, they'll kill us." Jessica argued.

"We're not looking for a fight. We just want to talk. Besides, I hear their new Imperator is kind and more understanding than their last one." Susan responded.

"Wouldn't it be better we talk to Sector Seven?" Owain suggested.

"I say we find one of this world's greatest heroes. If my experience in other dimensions taught me anything is that teaming up with them will end up helping everyone. One of them deserves to know who we are and what we're dealing with. Wouldn't be polite to keep trespassing in their home." Ruby recommended instead.

"The big heroes I heard of are with the NOL. Guess we have to take the risk." Vector said, reluctantly agreeing to follow Ruby's idea.

BGM-BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle OST-Bullet Dance

The atmosphere became intense by the sudden shouting of a single woman that surprised the heroes. Two handguns target them right before they take notice of their wielder, a petite girl with green eyes and blonde hair that falls to her upper back. Assisting her in surrounding the heroes are two of her best friends: A redheaded woman that looks professional and skilled with both the sword and shield in her possession, and a human-looking squirrel girl that is eager to brawl with a cheerful smile.

"Dangit! We're in trouble!" Vector scowled, huddled back-to-back with his friends.

"Stay still! We don't want to cause a scene!" Susan ordered her team.

Despite the tense situation she found herself in, Ruby can't help but gush over the weaponry these mysterious soldiers possess. "Oh wow! So this is what the weapons of this world look like! I've never seen anything like them!" Her starry eyes then focus exclusively on the blonde girl's weapon, "And those handguns, they look so cool! What can they do?! Can they transform into anything?!"

Flustered by her surprising compliments, the blonde girl replies, "Oh, uh, thank you. Actually, Bolverk can-."

"Noel, focus! You know better than to reveal secrets to strangers." The squirrel girl reprimands her best friend. The Azure Successor, Noel Vermillion.

"Right. Sorry, Makoto." Noel apologized, sheepishly to the Unfaltering Beastkin, Makoto Nanaya.

"Wasn't expecting this world to have its own Squirrel Girl." Jessica snarks at the demi-human.

"I assume you three are soldiers from the NOL?" Invisible Woman asked the redhead.

"That is right. I am Tsubaki Yayoi of the 4th Division. We have been given orders to hunt down and destroy all dangerous anomalies that emerged from the cauldrons." said Tsubaki Yayoi, the Scarlet Wings of Justice.

"Anomalies? What do you mean?" The curious Susan remarked.

"Don't play dumb. For days now, portals to other worlds are opening worldwide unleashing all manner of chaos. The NOL is trying to deal with them, but they pop up too fast. We suspect something or someone sabotaged our cauldrons to cause this phenomenon." Tsubaki informed them.

To better emphasize the dire situation, Tsubaki uses a form of magitek to project holographic video footage of the various disasters that have struck her world. Disasters that look oddly familiar to Gamma Team as they resemble enemies from other Cross Spaces. Like Outrealm Fiends from the World of Awakening and Mavericks from the Versus Earth. "Those enemies…They're from the other Cross Spaces." Ruby recognized in shock.

"These cauldrons you mentioned. Could they be gateways to other realities?" Susan questioned.

"An accurate assumption." Tsubaki answered sternly.

"I think I understand what is going on. Besides our world, this world was distorted the most by the Convergence's aftereffects. Its energies must have destabilized your cauldrons, causing rifts to the other Cross Spaces to appear and allow marauders to threaten this world." Susan claimed.

"Convergence? Cross Spaces? Yeah, I have no idea what you're talking about." The eyebrow-raising Makoto quipped amidst her confusion.

"We'll explain everything at someplace private, if you'll allow it. My name is Doctor Susan Richards and we're from another world that is too suffering anomalies. Perhaps we can work together to find the solution that will save all our worlds." Susan kindly proposed to the stern NOL soldier.

"Please, Tsubaki. I know we just met them, but I feel like we can trust them. They don't look as evil as the other people we fought and we need all the help we can get." Noel pleads to her friend to consider trusting the unified heroes.

"And it has been a busy few days. We could use the break." Makoto joked, deciding to trust the heroes as well.

Tsubaki stood hesitant and suspecting at first as trusting strangers can be risky. Trusting her two best friends is another story as they helped her arrive at a more beneficial decision. "…Alright. My friends seem to believe you like I believe in them. We'll take you into custody and see what Major Kisaragi and Colonel Mutsuki has to say." She decided whilst putting down her blade.

"Thank you." Susan smiled.

NOL Building, 6th Hierarchical City of Yabiko.

BGM-BlazBlue OST-Lakeside

"Did we HAVE to be thrown in jail? What, the NOL too cheap to afford decent waiting rooms?" Vector joked deadpannedly, as Team Gamma wait inside a cell until their meeting with the mysterious Colonel Mutsuki is arranged.

"Sorry, Mr. Crocodile. I promise this won't take long." Noel apologized, being their unofficial jailer.

"This doesn't feel like your standard cell. What powers it?" Invisible Woman inquired, touching and noticing the bars being powered by a strange energy.

"We call it Ars Magus. A power created by fusing magic with science and requires grimoires utilizing seithr to access it. It was developed during the Dark War to save humanity from being destroyed by the Black Beast. After the war, the NOL was created to manage grimoires to prevent their power from being abused." Noel briefed her guests on her world's energy source.

"Interesting." Invisible Woman remarked.

"Is that what you used to build your weapon?" Ruby asked her dual handguns called Bolverk.

Smiling, Noel unsheathes her guns from her hip holsters saying, "I didn't build these. It's a Nox Nyctores, one of 11 that are considered the most powerful form of Ars Magus. I sorta found it by accident a long time ago. What about yours?"

Ruby replies by whipping out her Crescent Rose from her waist and says, "It's nothing fancy. Just something I was required to make in the academy."

"You attended a Military Academy too?" Noel retorted in amazement.

"Still in one, but we're not military. I'm training to become the world's best huntress." Ruby announced proudly.

"Well good luck. I know you'll be great." Noel smiled, befriending the scarlet huntress.

"Thanks. By the way, have we met before? Your face looks familiar." Ruby asked, noting the confusing resemblance between Noel and another girl she encountered not too long ago.

"I don't think so." Noel answered honestly, with a little mix of confusion herself.

"Excuse me." Approaching the cell is another resident of Azure Earth and a friend of Noel. A towering crimson giant that didn't mean to intimidate the interdimensional visitors with his devil-like presence.

"Whoa! Who is this Red Devil? Perhaps this is a trap and he is our executioner." The shocked Owain exclaimed.

"Nonsense. My name is Tager. A pleasure to meet you all. Are you the agents that work for S.T.R.I.K.E.?" asked by Iron Tager, the Red Devil of Sector Seven, who appears gentler and more intelligent than they initially thought.

"Yes, but, how do you know that?" Invisible Woman remarked in shock.

"Professor Kokonoe will explain everything. Follow me." Tager said, whilst Noel opens their cell so the first meeting between STRIKE and Azure Earth's heroes can begin.

BGM-BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger OST-Mirage

Noel and Tager lead their new allies to the main office where the meeting will take place. Tsubaki and Makoto are already there waiting for them, as well as two high-ranking leaders in the NOL. "These are the intruders?" The calm and collected NOL Major in blue asked.

"That's right, Jin." Tsubaki responded to Jin Kisaragi, the Hero of the Frozen Blade.

"Less with the intruder talk and treat them more like honored guests." The Black Knight quipped, before following in love with the sight of Susan Storm. "Especially with this blonde beauty." The black-haired gentlemen is quick to shake hands with Susan and introduce himself, "Hi. The name's Kagura Mutsuki. Handsome head of my family and the fine-looking supreme commander of the NOL's forces. Welcome to my world.", before kissing her hand as a sign of affection.

"Thank you for agreeing to this meeting. I know my husband appreciates it." Susan glared, already annoyed with his flirting.

Just then, a pink-haired cat/human hybrid that loves eating lollipops enters the scene to reprimand the Black Knight, "Enough with the damn flirting, Kagura! We have no time for that! The entire multiverse is in peril!"

"Just wanted to make our new friends feel welcomed." Kagura snarked.

"Being disgusting is accomplishing the EXACT opposite." Makoto sassed.

"You're Professor Kokonoe?" Ruby realized they are in the presence of the Half-Beastkin Kokonoe Mercury.

"That's right. I work with Sector Seven, a scientific organization that wants to return the world back to the way it was before Ars Magus. Naturally this puts us at odds with the NOL, but Kagura and I make exceptions whenever the whole world is in deep shit." Kokonoe replied with her foul tongue.

"The Convergence." Ruby stated grimly.

"Is that what STRIKE's been calling it? Eh, about as appropriate a term as Possibility Entanglement." Kokonoe snarked.

"And just how long you've been spying on our world?" Jessica Jones sasses at the cat.

On behalf of the professor, Kagura responds, "We took notice of your Fused World as soon as these rifts started wreaking the place, trying to find a solution. According to Kokonoe, something's gone wrong with the Boundary, the space between dimensions where seithr resides and can only be accessed by the cauldrons. It changed somehow. Which is probably the cause for all these rifts."

"Where I'm from we call that space the 'Superflow' and we discovered that every universe has one designated to them. The Convergence must've merged the Superflow of all the Cross Spaces to form a unique space that is encompassed by the Crossverse while creating an outer Superflow that'll allow us to keep in touch with universes beyond." Susan theorized.

"You get any of that?" The confused Makoto asked the crocodile mobian.

"No." Vector shakes his deadpan head.

"Right so far. But I also discovered there's a self-observing system in there that's managing our entangled worlds with your world stuck at the center. Acting as the cosmic nexus using the energies of Anti-Convergium." Kokonoe claimed.

"Anti-Convergium? What's that?" Owain questioned.

"The complete opposite of what you know about Convergium Particles. It eats away spacetime just enough to create rifts for this mystery system to connect with the Crossverse. All our worlds have been infused with enough Anti-Convergium to create a few natural and hidden gateways to the neighboring dimensions. It is also what's isolating seithr to only power this Cross Space. The initial process must've encountered side-effects, hence why we're flooding with unstable rifts until the system stabilizes itself." Kokonoe explained, clarifying a little more about the Crossverse.

"With STRIKE, I know we can develop methods to close the unstable rifts and get a closer look at this self-observing system." Susan proposed an alliance with both the NOL and Sector Seven.

"I'll consider that. After you tell us exactly why you've been snooping around our world." Kokonoe sternly requested.

"We have intel that there is a hidden force out there that caused the Convergence as part of their grand plan to conquer all reality using the Exo Stones." Susan informed the Azure Heroes.

"Exo Stones?" Tager questioned with curiosity in his voice.

"Eight cosmic stones of infinite power. We suspect one of them, the Star Stone, is responsible for this mess but we have no idea where it is." Ruby answered sternly.

"A power that rivals the Azure…And there's eight in all?" Noel remarked in both horror and amazement.

"I find that hard to believe." Jin said in calming disbelief.

"The arrogance in this kid." Jessica sassed the NOL Major, "Trust us, those Stones have been a pain in our asses for months. If our mystery enemy finds all eight, we're toast."

"And you believe this enemy is hiding in this world?" Kagura questioned the STRIKE Agents.

"We encountered one of your people that is working for them." Susan said, then projects a mini-hologram of Nu-13 to show the Azure Heroes, "It's this girl. Nu-13."

BGM-BlazBlue OST-Premonition

"What?!" Kagura shouted, with a look of absolute surprise that he shares with his fellow NOL soldiers and Sector Seven allies.

"It's her!" Tsubaki exclaimed in recognition of that foe.

"The 13th Prime Field Device…" Noel remarked nervously.

"What the hell is the Murakumo Unit doing in your world?!" Kokonoe quickly asked.

"We're not sure. All we know that she's under orders to destroy me and my own team as well as the Masters of Evil." Ruby answered.

"That Prime Field Device is a loose cannon that was born from a cauldron with the sole purpose of fusing with a specific grimoire in order to become a Black Beast. Only the most powerful evils have ever been able to tame her and the ones we know of have been taken care of. If she's working for someone capable of merging dimensions, then the threat we're facing is unimaginable." Tager explained, briefing his new friends on Nu's origins.

"But why target your team? And these Masters of Evil?" Makoto asked Ruby.

"Dunno. Maybe they see us as a threat?" Ruby replied, which is scoffed at by Jin.

"Regardless, Nu running amok is a bad sign of what's coming. We need to find her and capture her and bring order to the Crossverse. Noel and Jin, be the kid's bodyguards while you help out STRIKE with anything in their world. Kokonoe and Tager will assist them in researching the Convergence. The rest of us will stay behind handling the rifts." Kagura ordered everyone, as the Azure Heroes officially join STRIKE in their mission to save the multiverse.

"…Fine." Jin reluctantly accepts this multiversal task.

"Let us both do our best, Major Kisaragi!" Noel told him confidently.

"Quiet, scum!" Jin angrily shuts her up.

"Okay…" Noel retorted, quick to frown from his harsh words.

"You can't treat her like that! Show some respect!" Vector scolds the major for his rudeness.

"Only to those that earned it!" Jin snarked.

"I've been in your shoes before. He'll come around." Ruby cheers up Noel, recalling her initial frosty relationship with Weiss. The huntress meets the soldieress face-to-face and offers her a smirking handshake, asking her, "Ready to go?"

With renewed confidence, Noel also smirks, "Ready!", and accepts the handshake of her new dimensional friend as Gamma Team is ready to return to the Unified World.

BGM-Mega Man Battle Network 5: Double Team DS OST-Scientific Forefront

"How we lookin'?" Peter asked, walking into the science room that his new friends, Chris Thorndyke and Helen, are hard at work developing new W.E.B. technologies to help the city.

"Awesome! Just finished writing a program that monitors water pressure for nearby buildings. Anything goes wrong and an alert is automatically sent out to the city's maintenance teams." Chris reported with a proud smile from his computer desk.

"Great!" Peter complimented.

"Hey, ever think about the cell phones we all carry in our pockets?" Helen asked the WEB leader.

"When I'm hungry for a pizza." Peter quipped, interacting with a sophisticated device.

"Pretty simple for a rouge agent to weaponize them and get you the wrong order. I'll get to work in building a station that monitors the cell tower network for potential vulnerabilities." Helen said, typing on her computer.

"What're you working on, Pete?" Chris asked.

"Just putting samples from F.E.A.S.T.'s garden into the gene splicer. Have lots of homeless that needs feeding." Peter answered. In the midst of doing an excellent job modifying specimen, he receives an urgent S.T.R.I.K.E. notification from his phone that requires his spider alter-ego. "Ah man…" Peter frowns before turning to his friends with an excuse for why he's about to leave suddenly. "I-I need some more samples. I'll be back soon! You guys take care of yourselves." He said whilst rushing out the door.

"You too!" The smiling Helen shouted.

"Take care, Pete!" Chris waves him goodbye.

'That was a nice break from the action.' Spider-Man thought in the midst of swinging away from WEB HQ. 'Chris and Helen know their stuff. And give some good advice. Maybe I was overestimating myself and thought I could foresee infinity. The multiverse is vast. Can't predict every danger and how they'll be unleashed. Gotta stop thinking about saving it all but to save one person. The people I love. I know they're counting on me and I won't fail them again. Just need to keep heroing and researching like the superhero scientist that I am.' He reflected, before looking back at the message he received from STRIKE, 'And it looks like Charles Xavier could use one right now. STRIKE's a little short-handed cleaning up after all the damage done by the villains who escaped the Prison Raft, so I don't mind lending a hand.'

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-Strategy

Amidst his swing, a Star Portal surprises Spidey and prompts him in time into avoiding Miss America as she emerges out of it just mere seconds before meeting with Sonic on a rooftop. "Cannot wait to outpace your portals." Sonic smirked, implying the two new friends raced each other to New Vale City with their signature skills.

"Dream on." Miss America retorted cockily.

"And where did you two come from?" Spidey asked upon meeting them on the roof.

"Oh, hey Webs. America and I are racing each other to the Xavier Institute. Wanna join?" Sonic invited.

"Your name's America?" Spidey questioned the newcomer to his dimension.

"America Chavez. Not from this universe. Heard your weird name is Spider-Man. Nice to meet you. Never met your kind in all the universes I've visited. You're a lot less spidery than I thought you'd be. Do you shoot webs out of your butt?" America asked, in the midst of greeting her new ally with a handshake.

"No. But I have tried." Spidey replied.

"Gross." America quipped.

More surprises arrive in the form of a sudden STRIKE Quinjet hovering over the trio and a familiar huntress speaking to them through the loudspeaker. 'HEY, GUYS! HOP IN!' Ruby told them.

Inside the Quinjet with Ruby is not only the pilot but also Noel Vermillion and Jin Kisaragi. And all four of them give a look of shock at the Star Portal that allows Spidey's group to just casually board the airborne jet. "How did you do that?!" Ruby exclaimed.

"How DID you do that?" The amazed Spidey asked America about her power, who just teases them with a chuckle.

"One of your friends is a spider-beastkin? I don't like bugs!" Noel said nervously to Ruby, expressing her fear of insects.

"He's not that. He's a lot dorkier behind the mask." Ruby assured her before introducing everyone to each other, "Sonic and Spider-Man, meet Noel Vermillion and Jin Kisaragi. Our new friends from Azure Earth."

"Sup." Sonic smiled, greeting the NOL soldiers with a friendly wave.

"Enough introductions. Take us to the Xavier Institute." Jin ordered coldly, more interested in completing his mission than making friends.

"Aren't you cold?" Sonic teased the major.

"Sounds like we're all heading to the same place. Wonder what's going on with the mutants that needs this much help? Better go find out. TO THEM, THE X-MEN!" Spidey announced with great enthusiasm, as the Quinjet flies the Dimensional Avengers to their next big mission in this united universe.

BGM-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 OST-Gallery

KFX Here: America Chavez of Marvel, and Noel Vermillion and Jin Kisaragi of BlazBlue join STRIKE. The main purpose of this chapter was to go more in depth of the Crossverse, which required a brief tour of the BlazBlue World since the Dimensional Avengers didn't explore it beforehand. Maybe one day. Sorry this chapter took a while to arrive. Creating your own lore is not as easy as it sounds. Shouldn't be a problem for the next few chapters. A new mini Mutant Arc is set to begin to explore how the Mutants, Mobians, and Faunus are handling themselves in the fused world.
