In the streets of Paris...

Kirishima looked at the list that Marinette had given them with a confused look. Him, Jirou and Bakugo walked along a bridge as they looked at their lists. Bakugo stared at the ground as he kicked a pebble around.

"This list of ingredients is so confusing," Kirishima said to Jirou as he tilted it in his hands, "It's not like, an actual ingredient. There are just riddles. I don't even know where to begin."

Jirou could see how he'd be a little confused. She looked at her list and started reading off some of them. She looked up at Bakugo to find him not even paying attention.

"I can see what you mean. Something that can't be used until it's broken...? That's a bit of a weird way to look for an ingredient--"

"It's an egg."

Kirishima and Jirou looked up to see Bakugo looking out at the view of the bridge. They both looked back at the list and realized he was right.

Jirou quickly wrote it down, and they looked back at him. Kirishima even slid closer to him with his arm around his shoulder.

"Hey, Bakugo... So can you help us with the next one...?" Kirishima asked him with a big smile.

"No way," Bakugo grumbled, "You're on your own with this one."

"Oh come on, man. Marinette, Adrien and Midoriya need our help with this recipe," He said to Bakugo, "At least help with one more maybe."

Bakugo pushed out of his arm and took the list out of his hand. He looked at it for a good while as Kirishima and Jirou followed him. They waited for Bakugo to say something, but he just kept looking through it.

Jirou and Kirishima shared a look, wondering what Bakugo was thinking. It looked like he was writing something down on the list.

After a good few minutes of walking around, Bakugo stopped in his tracks. He turned around and gave Kirishima the list back a little harshly.

"Here. Now we can get this over with," Bakugo said to them.

Kirishima looked at the list and noticed it was all filled in with answers to what they were looking for. His eyes widened and looked up at him. He smiled and turned to Jirou.

"Jirou, where do you think we should go first?" Kirishima asked her.

Jirou looked at the list and noticed one of them standing out.

"Something rare but gives you good luck. Bakugo wrote down a four leaf clover, but I don't know if we'll be able to find that," JIrou said to him.

As they kept walking, Kirishima noticed a field of clovers around by the park. He noticed a couple of kids picking out flowers and clovers and smiled at them.

"We could try over there," Kirishima said to them as he pointed to the kids, "Looks like there's some left. It can't hurt to look."

Jirou looked like she was embarrassed to be picking flowers with some kids around, but Kirishima was able to get her to help out. They both walked up to the kids, and they looked so happy to see them.

Bakugo looked like he really wanted no part of it. He sat on a bench with his hands in his pockets as his friends looked through the flowers. One of the girls even put a flower in Kirishima's hair.

Jirou smiled at how precious Kirishima looked with the kids, even if they hadn't found the four leaf clover yet.

Bakugo side glanced them and noticed how calming it was around here. When there weren't any akumas around, it was really peaceful and quiet.

It was really refreshing.

"Katsuki...?"

Bakugo heard a familiar voice and almost ducked out of the way. He turned around to see Chloe standing there. She looked like she wasn't expecting him to be in the park.

Bakugo didn't expect to run into her, either. Chloe noticed Kirishima and Jirou hanging out with the kids and was a little confused.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Bakugo asked.

"We-Well, I-I was just on my way back home when I noticed you here," Chloe said to him.

An image of Queen Bee popped up in his head and felt his cheeks warm up a little. He tried to shake it off inconspicously as she walked up to him.

"Ca-Can I-I sit with you?" Chloe asked him.

Bakugo avoided eye contact and moved over enough for her to sit down. She subtly smiled and sat down with him.

It was quiet as they sat together a little awkwardly.

A breeze picked up all around them as it swayed Chloe's braid around. Bakugo caught a glance of her, and she looked less annoying and more beautiful.

Chloe noticed him looking, and he looked the other way.

"So... did you like the chocolates?"

"Huh...?"

"Th-The chocolates that I gave you... Did you like them...?" Chloe asked him.

Bakugo stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked at Kirishima and Jirou. They didn't even notice that Chloe was sitting with him.

For a while, Bakugo didn't say anything. He just watched his friends looking for a four leaf clover.

He looked back at Chloe and noticed that she was waiting for an answer.

"I might've tried one... and two... They were fine... I prefer spicy food though..." Bakugo said to her.

"Oh, really?" Chloe said to him, "You should stop by my daddy's restaurant at the André Le Grand Paris Hotel. He has a couple really spicy dishes you might like..."

Bakugo looked back at her, shocked to hear her mention that. He even noticed that she had scooted a little closer and didn't notice it. His heart began racing as he locked eyes with her.

"Oh my gosh... Did she just... ask me out...?" Bakugo thought out loud, "On a... date?!"

Bakugo felt his face turn bright red and almost ran out of the park. He stuck around since she was quiet. She was watching his friends interacting with some kids.

Bakugo had never really seen Chloe outside of the school in a long time, so it felt better to be away from that for a while. He watched her rummage through her purse and was putting on some lip balm.

Something glinted in her purse and shined in his eyes.

It was a small mirror.

Bakugo remembered something on the list he had found. It said, Something that shines like the sun off of the sea. It seemed like it might be a mirror like hers.

"Chloe..."

Chloe looked up to so eagerly, not expecting him to say her name like that. Her eyes met his, and she couldn't look away.

Bakugo knew he had to go about this a certain way without it seeming weird, so he showed her the list of ingredients.

"Ladybug is looking for these ingredients for a... special project. One of the ingredients is actually a mirror. I was wondering if I could borrow yours," He asked her.

Chloe looked through the list, and she seemed to understand. She reached into her purse and gave it to him.

Bakugo was actually surprised that she did that.

"Ladybug can keep it. I've got plenty of these back home," Chloe said to him.

Bakugo held the mirror in his hands and noticed the back of it was bedazzled like a bee. He almost felt himself chuckle at the design.

Then he noticed a ladybug land on his hand. It crawled on his hand, not even bothered by his sweat or anything.

It flew off and landed on Chloe's nose.

Bakugo let out a chuckle, and Chloe blew on it very gently. It flew away and landed on the flowers towards the kids and his friends. One of the kids noticed the ladybug and looked over at Bakugo and Chloe.

She stood up and made her way over to them with a flower crown.

Bakugo tried not to pay attention to her, but then she looked straight at him.

"Hi! You're the guy that is a hero in training, right?" The little girl asked him.

Bakugo noticed Chloe watching him and didn't want to yell at the kid, especially with her around.

"Ye-Yeah... I am..." Bakugo said back.

"You're um... Izuku, right?" She asked him.

Bakugo almost looked like his veins were bulging out of his head as he shook his fist at her.

"No! I'm Katsuki!" Bakugo yelled at her, "Don't mistaken me for that damn nerd, little girl!"

The little girl didn't even flinch as she blinked her eyes at him. She even smiled back at him.

Bakugo noticed Chloe laughing at him, and he pulled back a bit. He relaxed a little, and the little girl tried to give him the flower crown.

"I made this for you, Katsuki!" She said to him.

Bakugo could tell that Chloe was really enjoying this.He felt embarrassed to have this kid giving him something he definitely didn't want to wear. Then he noticed the girl give him the puppy dog eyes with a pouty lip. He couldn't yell at her now, not with people watching.

Bakugo gave the little girl a fake smile, and it took a lot to not yell at her.

"Fine. You can put it on."

The little girl smiled with shining eyes, and he bent over to help her out. He sat up with the flower crown sitting on his spiky hair.

Chloe almost burst out laughing, and Bakugo glared at her.

The little girl looked at both of them and had a curious look on her face. Bakugo noticed and looked annoyed.

"What're you looking at?" Bakugo growled at her.

"Is she your girlfriend...?"

Both Bakugo and Chloe turned bright red, but Bakugo was the one who tried to avoid the question.

"Umm... uh, I-I do-don't have to tell you anything!" He yelled at, feeling really flustered.

Soon enough, the little girl's mom showed up and walked her out of the park. Bakugo noticed that the little girl's mom looked like someone on TV.

"Bakugo! We found it! We found the four leaf--"

Kirishima and Jirou ran over to him when they both spotted Chloe sitting with him. Then they saw Bakugo wearing a flower crown, and Jirou almost burst out laughing.

Bakugo looked at them with his fist at the ready for an explosion.

"Chloe? What're you doing here?" Jirou asked her.

"Well, I saw Katsuki sitting here and thought to see what you guys were up to," Chloe tried to explain without being flustered about what the little girl mentioned.

"Hey, Bakugo! Nice flower crown, man!" Kirishima said to him with a laugh.

Bakugo gave him a piercing glare, but then Chloe tried to calm him down. She placed her hand on his shoulder, and he felt himself jump away from her. Chloe looked a little upset and felt like it was time to leave.

"Alright well, it was nice seeing all of you," Chloe said to the others, "I'm glad I could help Ladybug with her special project. Please let her know that I'd like to help her with anything if she needs it."

Bakugo, Kirishima and Jirou watched Chloe leave the park. Bakugo could tell that she really wanted to help Ladybug somehow, but she didn't know about Marinette and Adrien being the Parisian heroes.

He looked back and noticed Chloe was already gone.

"Bakugo, what did you and Chloe talk about?" Jirou asked him.

Bakugo thought about it for a moment without realizing it and felt a blemish form around his cheeks. He held the mirror and handed it to her.

"Here. Chloe said we could have it for the recipe."

Jirou and Kirishima looked at it and realized that they had two ingredients already. Kirishima held the four leaf clover in between his fingers, happy to help Ladybug.

Before they could talk to Bakugo, he was already on his way out of the park. Kirishima and Jirou ran after him, ready to keep looking.

They both laughed, realizing that Bakugo left with the flower crown on.

Another amazing chapter!

This one was really fun to write! I really wanted to write a chapter that was more between Bakugo and Chloe, so I thought this was a good time for that! Chloe helped with one of the ingredients!

That little girl might've been Manon! Bakugo is not someone she should meet! LOL! She thought Bakugo and Chloe were together!

Bakugo and his friends already found two ingredients!

What's going to happen next??

More to come soon!
