Bad Dream Chapter 2

Lily was fast asleep, crying due to the events that transpired just 25 minutes prior. In her dream, she found herself in a dark place devoid of windows and doors; an absolute void. "Hello, is anyone there?" Lily called out, but no response came. She repeated her plea, yet silence prevailed. Growing increasingly anxious, Lily was about to call out once more when suddenly, she heard a sound.

"We hear you," a voice said. Lily turned to see her family—Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Jr., Lucy, Lana, Lola, and Lisa—standing there. She ran up to them and began to speak. "Guys, what happened, and where am I..." Before she could finish, Lynn Jr. punched her in the face. Lily fell to the floor and saw not only Lynn but all her sisters looking at her with a mix of anger, disappointment, and faint disgust. Frightened, Lily began to cry. "Look, guys, the crybaby is crying again," Lynn Jr. mocked. "That's an ugly face when she cries," Lola added with disdain. "Why do you guys hate me? Aren't we family?" Lily asked through her tears.

They gazed at her, and Lori was the first to speak. "Family? Ha! Don't make us laugh. We're not a family, and we don't love you. Every 'I love you' has been a lie. We've always despised you, right from the moment you were born. If you want to know why we hate you, we'll tell you."

Lori: You're weak

Leni: Pointless

Luna: Lacking talent

Luan: Not funny

Lynn Jr: Loser

Lucy: Not cool

Lana: Overweight

Lola: Unattractive

Lisa: Intelligence

The Loud sisters accused, "You are nothing but a troublemaker. We despise you, your friend despises you, and everyone despises you." After the outburst, Lily retreated to a corner and protested, "That is not true."

Indeed, it is true.

Lily glanced to her left and noticed her friends Clyde and Ronnie Anne walking to her and have same face just like her sisters. They approached her and began to speak. "We don't care about you," Clyde said. "What do you mean?" Lily asked, confused. "What do you mean 'what do you mean'?" Ronnie Anne retorted. "I'll tell you why you're the worst friend we could ever have. You made me cry at lunch by calling me mean things. Plus, you got mad at me for spending time with your sisters during a sleepover and inviting some classmates," Clyde added. Lily looked at them, recalling her actions.

Seconds later, the ground began to tremble, and two hands emerged, grasping Lily's arm. Unsure of what to do, she could only scream loudly, "Help! Someone help me!" Lily cried out in fear. "Oh, shut up, you're annoying," Leni said. "Why do you guys hate me so much?" Lily asked through tears. Everyone looked at her and spoke in unison, "If you want to know why we hate you, okay, we'll tell you," as they spoke together and handed her a pouch.

Lori: You always cause trouble, literally. /Punch Left eye

Leni: Who's Lily? We don't have a sister with a name as silly as that. / Punch Left arm

Luna: Dude, no one's ever going to love you. /Punch Left arm

Luan: You know the difference between you and us? You're the root of all trouble. /Punch in Face

Lynn Jr: You're the perfect target for my bat. /Swing bat to her stomach

Lucy: You don't deserve to live, you're worthless. /Punch where her heart at

Lana: You're too fat/ Step on her left foot

Lola: You're too ugly./ Step on her right foot

Lisa: Do you realize how stupid you are?/ Punch in the face.

After that, Lily whimpered in pain from being punched and kicked, but even worse, her family said mean things to her. She looked back at her sister; what she said scarred her for life. They tore into pieces and transformed into her parents. "Mom, Dad," Lily said in pain. They walked towards her and said something that broke her heart. "We never even wanted you," Rita and Lynn Sr. said.

"YOU ARE A MISTAKE THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN BORN."

After hearing that, Lily screamed loudly, causing her to wake up in fear. She looked around and saw she was back in her room. "It was just a dream," Lily said with relief, but she couldn't help but shed tears as she remembered her dream and what her sisters and friends had said. But what her parents had said...

Lily: "Am I a mistake?"
