Onward to Anistar City
In their room in the Dendemille Town Pokemon Center, Kevin, Rolf, and Nazz were laying on their beds, relaxing after their adventure in the Frost Cavern while Jonny was sitting on the side of the lower bunk he was sleeping on, looking at the pokedex.
"Hey, guys; according to his, in Charizard's Mega Form, he has the Drought ability." said Jonny. "That ability changes the weather to intense sunshine."
"Radical; that would make Charizard's fire type moves stronger." said Kevin. "What does that say about Mega Venusaur's ability?" Jonny looks up Mega Venusaur on the pokedex.
"This says Mega Venusaur has the Thick Fat ability, which cuts damage done by fire and ice moves in half." replied Jonny.
"Awesome." said Kevin.
"What about Mega Gardevoir?" asked Nazz. Jonny uses the pokedex to looks up Mega Gardevoir.
"Mega Gardevoir has the Pixilate abiltiy." said Jonny. "It not only strengthens her normal type moves, those moves become fairy type."
"Cool." replied Nazz.
"Rolf wishes to get some sleep." said Rolf.
"Yeah; after what we went through with Team Flare today, I could use a rest." said Kevin.
"Okay." said Jonny. He puts the pokedex in his backpack and climbs under the covers with Plank. Minutes later, everyone fell asleep.
The next morning, after the group had breakfast, they exited the Pokemon Center in their winter attire, and began to walk east until they exited through the eastern gate. Upon exiting the gate, they were greeted by a strong blizzard.
"Whoa!" exclaimed Kevin as he shielded his face with one of his arms.
"What's with this blizzard?!" asked Nazz.
"Holy cow!" exclaimed Jonny, pointing forward. The others looked to see the entire area had deep snow all around.
"How the heck are we supposed to get though all that?!" asked Kevin. A man walked to the group.
"Excuse me, but you kids will need to ride Mamoswine there to be able to get through all this snow." said the man, pointing at a large, brown, Pokemon with long tusks.
"Hey; isn't that the Pokemon that Double D fought with Empoleon back at the Lily of the Valley Conference that belonged to that Mel jerk?" asked Nazz.
"Yeah." said Kevin. Jonny pulls out the pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Mamoswine, the Twin Tusk Pokemon, and the final form of Swinub. Its impressive tusks are made of ice. The population thinned when it turned warm after the ice age." said the pokedex.
"Mamoswine can plow through the snow; you should all be able to get to Anistar City with its help." said the man.
"Thanks, man." said Kevin. The group all climb onto Mamoswine with Kevin carrying his bike. Once they were on, Mamoswine begins running towards the snow. "Hang on, guys!" Mamoswine then bursts through the snow.
As they travelled, they had Mamoswine stop to take a break so they can train their Pokemon to prepare for their next gym battle.
Jonny's Chesnaught learned Bulk Up, his Krookodile learned Foul Play, and his Clawitzer learned Smack Down.
Rolf's Diggersby learned Bounce, his Pidgeot learned Roost, and his Beedrill learned Endeavor.
Kevin's Greninja learned Substitute, his Talonflame learned Acrobatics, his Venusaur learned Synthesis, and his Vivillon learned Quiver Dance.
Nazz's Farfetch'd learned Feint, her Dedenne learned Play Rough, and her Corsola learned Aqua Ring, and Power Gem.
During the training, they were approached by a red and white, birdlike Pokemon that was carrying a sack.
"What's that?" asked Jonny as he takes out the pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Delibird, the Delivery Pokemon. It carries food all day long. When someone is lost in the mountains, it shares that food." said the pokedex.
The Delibird walks to Rolf's Diggersby; it reaches into its sack and pulls a rainbow-colored ball of light and gives it to Diggersby.
"What is that this Pokemon is giving to Rolf's Diggersby?" asked Rolf.
"No clue, man." said Kevin. The ball of light begins to shine brightly and explodes, knocking Diggersby to the ground, making Delibird laugh.
"Okay, that was so not cool!" said Nazz. Rolf glares at Delibird.
"Rolf will teach this Delibird a lesson it will not forget!" said Rolf. "Delphox, assist Rolf!" Delphox steps forward. "Delphox, use Flamethrower!" Delphox takes out her branch and points it towards Delibird, a stream of fire comes out of it, and it hits Delibird, dealing super effective damage and making it fall to the ground. Rolf pulls an empty pokeball out of his backpack; he throws the pokeball at the Delibird and hits it; it gets sucked into the pokeball and after it wiggled around a few times before it clicks. "Rolf has captured Delibird."
"That'll teach it." said Kevin. Delibird's pokeball vanishes and is transported to storage. Jonny looks up Delibird's information on the pokedex.
"This says Delibird's a boy, he only knows Present, and he has the Vital Spirit ability, which prevents him from sleeping." said Jonny.
"Come on, guys; let's just get to Anistar City so we can get out of this blizzard." said Nazz.
"Good call, Nazz." said Kevin. They returned their Pokemon to their pokeballs and they climbed back on Mamoswine. They continued riding Mamoswine who continued plowing through the snow; several minutes later, they reach the gate to Anistar City.
"We're here!" said Jonny. They climbed off Mamoswine; Nazz walks to it and pats it.
"Thanks for the ride, dude." Nazz says to Mamoswine, making it smile in response and nuzzles her, making her laugh.
"Okay, guys; let's get to the Pokemon Center and get our Pokemon treated while we have lunch." said Kevin. "After that, we'll go to the gym."
"Okay, Kevin." said Jonny. They walked, or in Kevin's case, biked, and found themselves in Anistar City.
The group walked around Anistar City until they found a Pokemon Center; they walked inside and walked to the nurse.
"Oh my; you kids looked like you had a difficult trip." said the nurse.
"It wasn't too hard; we had Mamoswine's help." said Nazz.
"Well, why don't you kids let me treat your Pokemon while you have yourselves a warm meal." said the nurse.
"Sounds great." said Nazz. They gave the nurse their Pokemon and they went to the cafeteria; they were soon having a warm meal.
"So, what kind of Pokemon do you think the gym leader here uses?" asked Jonny.
"Don't know, man." said Kevin.
"Guess we'll have to face this gym leader to find out." said Nazz. Minutes later, the group finished eating; they then exited the cafeteria and went to the nurse to pick up their Pokemon.
"Your Pokemon have been treated." said the nurse.
"Thanks." said Kevin as he and the others took their Pokemon back. After that, the group exited the Pokemon Center. Soon after, they found themselves standing in front of the Anistar City Gym. "You guys ready?"
"You bet, Kevin." said Jonny.
"Rolf is also ready." said Rolf.
"Let's do this." said Nazz. The group walked towards the gym with the intention of challenging the gym leader to earn their seventh badges; will they succeed?
