Goodbye, Kalos
After Nazz has obtained the title of Grand Duchess; everyone makes their way back to Lumiose City where they head over to Professor Sycamore's lab where they see him waiting in front of the door.
"Hello, everyone." said Professor Sycamore.
"Hey, Professor!" said Nazz in an excited voice as she and her friends run over to the man who got them started on their Pokemon journey.
"Congratulations on winning the Kalos League, Jonny." said Professor Sycamore.
"Thanks." said Jonny as he hugs his first place trophy with the arm that wasn't holding Plank.
"We've had a blast at the Lumiose Conference!" said Kevin.
"Rolf also enjoyed himself." said Rolf.
"It was awesome!" said Nazz.
"I'm glad you all enjoyed your journey here." said Professor Sycamore. He then reaches into this lab coat's pocket and pulls out four airplane tickets.
"What are those?" asked Kevin.
"Plane tickets for flights back to Peach Creek." said Sycamore.
"Right on; we're going home!" said Jonny.
"Yeah, it's gonna be rad to just chill out in my own room again." said Nazz.
"Rolf is looking forward to seeing his livestock." said Rolf.
"Now kids; I know this isn't going to easy for you to hear." Professor Sycamore started to say before looks of sorrow appeared on the kids' faces.
"Let me guess; we have to leave our Pokemon here." said Kevin.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" shouts Jonny.
"Not cool!" said Nazz.
"Rolf is most unpleased!" said Rolf.
"You know that the Eds had to do so as well before they left the Sinnoh Region months ago." said Professor Sycamore.
"Yeah, we know." said Kevin.
"There are no Pokemon Centers where we're from for if our Pokemon get hurt." said Nazz.
"Rolf is heartbroken at having to say goodbye to his Pokemon." said Rolf.
"Plank and I are upset, too!" said Jonny.
"This must be how the Eds felt before they left Sinnoh." said Kevin.
"Your flight leaves tomorrow morning." said Professor Sycamore. "I suggest using this time to spend as much time with your Pokemon as you can."
"I guess that's a good idea." said Kevin.
The kids head to Aquacorde Town and have lunch at a small restaurant there with their Pokemon.
"This is where we started our journey; Jonny and Rolf." said Kevin.
"Rolf remembers when he got Fennekin." said Rolf.
"Chespin was so cool." said Jonny.
"I remember arriving here the day after you three and me catching Floette back when she was a Flabebe." said Nazz.
"We all had an awesome adventure." said Kevin.
"Rolf can't believe it's over." said Rolf.
"I was hoping it would never end." said Jonny.
"Let's just focus on having fun with our Pokemon for the rest of the day." said Kevin.
The group used their Fly abilities to visit all the places that they've been to in Kalos. While in Shalour City, Jonny and Korrina spent as much time as they could together before sharing one more kiss and promising each other that when Jonny was old enough, he and Plank will return.
They also stopped by Geosenge Town and looked at the massive hole left by the weapon that Lysandre was after.
"Team Flare was a bunch of dorks." said Kevin.
"I'm just glad we were able to stop them." said Nazz.
"Right on." said Jonny.
"Rolf is pleased those scoundrels have been defeated." said Rolf. The group then went to the Battle Chateau due to Nazz requesting to see it one final time; when they got there, they see Charlotte walking out the doors with an excited look on her face.
"Hey, Nazz." said Charlotte.
"Hey, Charlotte; what's up?" asked Nazz. She then notices the Grand Duchess cape Charlotte was wearing. "Hey, did you..."
"Get promoted to Grand Duchess? You bet." said Charlotte.
"Congratulations, dude." replied Nazz.
"Now that I've become a Grand Duchess, I can now focus on travelling the world with Teddiursa." said Charlotte.
"Hope you have a fun time, Charlotte." said Nazz.
"Thanks; listen, I know we started off on the wrong foot when we first met, but I want you to know, you were a worthy rival." said Charlotte.
"Thanks." replied Nazz; she then extends a hand. "See you around, Charlotte." Charlotte grabs Nazz's hand and shakes it.
"See you around." replied Charlotte. She walks away from the group; after Nazz takes a long look at the Battle Chateau, the group then walked towards Lumiose City.
Soon, a new day started, something the group hope would never happen. They were outside Professor Sycamore's lab; Nazz was looking at her team with tears in her eyes.
"See ya, Corsola." said Nazz before returning Corsola to her pokeball. "See ya, Dedenne." She returns Dedenne to her pokeball. "See ya, Gardevoir." She returns Gardevoir to her pokeball. "See ya, Pyroar." She returns Pyroar to her pokeball. "See ya, Farfetch'd." She returns Farfetch'd to his pokeball. She then turned towards Florges; she thinks back to all her times with her; catching her by accident when she was a Flabebe, with the Great Ball she found on the day she arrived in Kalos, their battles together, Flabebe evolving into Floette, using a Shiny Stone to evolve her into Florges, their battles at the Lumiose Conference, as well as the Battle Chateau, and finally, their battle with Anastasia's Florges that earned Nazz the Grand Duchess rank. She runs to Florges and hugs her, tears streaming down her eyes. "I hope to see you again someday, Florges." She looks into Florges tear filled eyes before returning her to her Great Ball.
Rolf was looking at his team with a look of sorrow on his face.
"Goodbye, Gogoat." Rolf says to his Gogoat before he returns him to his pokeball. "Goodbye, Blastoise." He returns his Blastoise to his pokeball. "Goodbye, Beedrill." He returns his Beedrill to her pokeball. "Goodbye, Pidgeot." He returns Pidgeot to her pokeball. "Goodbye, Diggersby." He returns Diggersby to his pokeball. He then turns towards his Delphox with tears in his eyes as he remembers all his adventres with her; getting her when she was a Fennekin, her evolutions, all their battles together including the ones at the Lumiose Conference; he hugs her with all his might. "Goodbye, Delphox." He returns her to her pokeball.
Kevin looks at his team as he uses one of his sleeves to wipe tears from his eyes.
"Later, Tyrantrum." said Kevin before he returns him to his pokeball. "Later, Golurk." He returns it to its pokeball. "Later, Venusaur." He returns him to his pokeball. "Later, Vivillon." He returns her to her pokeball. "Later, Talonflame." He then returns him to his pokeball before he looks towards Greninja; he thinks back to getting him when he was a Froakie, all his evolutions, all the battles he had including the ones with Team Flare and in the Lumiose Conference. "Later, Greninja; I hope we meet again someday, dude." He returns his first Pokemon to his pokeball with tears in his eyes.
Finally, Jonny was standing in front of his team with teary eyes.
"Bye, Clawitzer." said Jonny as he returns Clawitzer to his pokeball. "Bye, Krookodile." He returns Krookodile to her pokeball. "Bye, Ninjask." He returns Ninjask to his pokeball. "Bye, Charizard." He returns Charizard to his pokeball. "Bye, Linoone." He returns Linoone to his pokeball. Finally, he looks at his fully evolved starter Pokemon; he thinks back to receiving Chesnaught back when he was a Chespin, the battles they had, him evolving, winning the Lumiose Conference. Tears streaming down his eyes, he runs to Chesnaught and hugs him, who hugs him back.
"I'm going to miss you most of all, Chesnaught!" cried Jonny. After several seconds, they broke their hug. He then returns Chesnaught to his pokeball. The group put all their pokeballs on a cart Sophie was holding. "Please, take good care of our Pokemon."
"I promise you they'll be well taken care of." replied Sophie. The group watched as Sophie wheeled the Pokemon into the lab. Professor Sycamore walks to the group.
"You did an excellent job training your starters, Kevin, Rolf, and Jonny." said Professor Sycamore. "The Eds taught you well."
"They sure did." said Jonny, wiping tears from his eyes.
"And everything the Eds taught them, they taught me." said Nazz.
"If it'll make you feel better, you can keep the Mega Rings as souveniers." said Professor Sycamore.
"Thanks, man." replied Kevin.
"Shall we get going to the airport?" asked Professor Sycamore.
"I guess." replied Nazz. The group and Professor Sycamore walk to his jeep and climbed aboard. Several minutes later, they arrived at the Kalos International Airport; the group climbs out of the van.
"Bye, Professor." said Kevin.
"Goodbye, you four; hope you have a safe flight home." replied Professor Sycamore. As he drives away, the Cul-De-Sac kids look at each other and lets out sighs of sadness.
"This is it, guys." said Kevin.
"Rolf will always remember his adventures of Kalos. Rolf will pass the tales on to his children who will pass them to their children who will pass it to..." Rolf starts to say before Kevin puts a hand over his mouth.
"Yeah, we get the idea, dude." said Kevin.
"Plank and I are gonna miss Kalos." said Jonny as he holds Plank tightly.
"So will I, dudes." said Nazz.
"Let's go." said Kevin as he and his friends enter the airport and make their way to the terminal where their flight to Peach Creek is. Half an hour later, the group were in their first class seats, watching the scenery pass them as the plane starts heading down the runway.
"Hey, guys; look!" said Nazz as she points out the window, making his friends look to see Professor Sycamore and their Pokemon waving from the side of the runway.
"They came to see us off." said Jonny.
"Rolf is happy to see them one last time." said Rolf.
"Dudes, when I'm old enough, I'm coming back here." said Kevin.
"So will I." said Nazz.
"Rolf promises he will as well!" said Rolf.
"I promised Korrina that I would also." said Jonny. The Cul-De-Sac kids wave to Professor Sycamore and their Pokemon right before their plane takes off, their destination: Peach Creek.
