Majnun and Pulse walked side by side.

Pulse couldn't help notice how suave and boastful Majnun's body movements were. He walked with such a confident gait that it screamed just how much cooler this Pokémon was than Pulse.

It irritated him.

"So, why do you want to kill my sweet Izar's family?" Majnun wonders with a grin on his face.

Pulse growled as he looked away.

This Absol was already prying into his private life. It was annoying.

He didn't want to tell him anything.

"None of your business, Magenun." He growled.

Majnun rolled his eyes.

"I know it isn't, but I'm curious and I thought you would tell me. Unless you have no reason, and are just grumpy and annoyed at these Pokémon."

He didn't comment on the name.

"I just..." Pulse began.

"It's fine, you don't have to explain it to me. I just want to take advantage of that cute Jolteon. I want her to be mine before I take everything from her."

What the fuck?! Pulse had a weirded expression on his face. That's genius. Why didn't I think of that?

He then looked at the ground, growling slightly.

The Absol thought of everything first.

Well, he barely knew the Absol, but the Absol seemed to know something he didn't.

Pulse thought some more over it as they continued to walk.

"I know it's weird, but why should I be tied by love if I can love as many women as possible and then be free? My father always told me women always restrict you. That's why I'm like this." Majnun blamed with a whisper.

Pulse rolled his eyes.

"I really don't care. Can't you be quiet? I don't like listening to your annoying voice anymore. Arceus, I already have one annoying motherfucker who I have to deal with right now, I can't deal with another. Why Arceus?! Why me?!" Pulse snarled as he dramatically fell over, putting a paw over his eyes.

"Sheesh. What an emotional Pokémon. Why you?! You're the ones who growling every few seconds. Look, once this is over you can go back to your own life, and I'll go back to mine. I don't want to be friends with you anyways. I just want what I deserve, which is kits with that Jolteon." Majnun hissed as he jumped over a log.

"Do you think if I 'save' Izar from you, would that make her like me?"

Pulse huffed with irritation.

Is all this fool can think of is who he's going to have kits with?

It seemed like the young Absol was in some hurry to grow up, and to become a reject like his father.

He did mention his father divorced his wife for his 'freedom.' Whatever freedom that may be.

Pulse jumped on the log, feeling his breath slightly escape him before scrambling to climb on top of the piece of wood.

He grunted as he jumped to the ground, falling flat on his belly.

Majnun laughed ahead of him. "You're so slow!"

Ugh. Pulse thought, his nostrils flaring with anger and his mouth opening.

He shot a quick ember towards a nearby tree which caught on fire.

Pulse stalked behind Majnun, ignoring the screams of a nearby Pokémon.

Whatever it was, it wasn't his problem. He had more important matters to tend to.

Majnun was racing ahead of him with a happy smile on his face.

Pulse scowled.

How can you be smiling? We are going to be destroying a Jolteon's whole family.

This Pokémon was surely strange to him.

Pulse was wondering how any Pokémon could be fine with someone else destroying their family, and then lying to them.

Well, he lied before.

And I almost got away with it if it wasn't for Paarthurnax. My mother would have kept it a secret because I threatened her, but the stupid starter had to get in my way!

Pulse roared with fury as Majnun showed him the way.

Majnun didn't make any comments about the roar, but he seemed bored of how Pulse acted.

Pulse's feet stomped the ground, causing the grass and leaves around them to burst into flames.

Pulse could finally see the forest's exit.

He sighed in relief.

That forest last forever. He thought as Majnun stopped just shortly in front of him, using his horn to sense for something.

"What are you doing?" Pulse sneered.

Majnun's horn glowed and his eyes were closed.

"This way!" He exclaimed suddenly, running off.

Pulse sighed.

What was up with the Absol anyways?

His horn was glowing. Good to know. But why was it glowing?

Pulse hasn't studied Absol enough. He only knew they were a dark type, and from what he could see they can breed with Eevee and it's evolutionary line.

I hope that when I go back, that I can at least finish school. I think studying might help me. If this older Absol knows more than me, then that's bad. I want to know everything I can about being bad.

Which brought Pulse the question of whether Majnun's father had trained Majnun or taught him anything useful.

His dad was more useful than mine, that's for sure. That good for nothing...

Pulse shook himself.

He had other things to focus on.

Maybe I shouldn't get so distracted or so mad. Majnun seems at least calmer. Ugh. Why does he act like he's better than me at everything?

Pulse noticed Majnun was in the distance.

He was so distracted by whatever his horn was leading him to. He didn't look back, that's for sure.

Pulse wanted to groan.

The Absol was becoming a speck in the distance.

Pulse started to run.

This Absol, while annoying him to death, was the only Pokémon who could lead him to the family.

Actually, he just wanted to make sure the Absol wouldn't tattletale on him.

He seems like that sort of shady guy.

Pulse figured he could find the house on his own, but he figured he could also do this Pokémon a favor while also getting rid of an annoyance or two.

He found he didn't want to kill Majnun at this point.

The reason why was they were similar in a way, but still different in a way that annoyed Pulse to his very soul.

Plus there was something sinister about the Absol. Despite being a Pokémon who usually senses danger to go warn, this Absol was absolutely fine with him killing his crush's parents.

A normal Pokémon would probably call the cops on something as simple as that.

I shouldn't put my trust in him, though. He still annoying beyond belief. He can get what he wants with ease while I have to work my tail off to get this done. Pulse thought with a sigh as the dark type who was leading him to the house—he hoped—disappeared into a thicket of houses.

Pulse was forced to use his sense of smell to help him find the other male.

He sniffed the air, finding Majnun's orange scented pelt had turned a different direction.

Agitated at the sudden change of direction, Pulse followed the scent, finding it poisonous to smell the oranges.

Who even eats oranges in the Pokémon world anyways?

There's plenty of apples anyways. Oranges tasted like acid.

Pulse stuck out his tongue and wretched at the thought of oranges.

He gazed around the place.

He was sure this was some sort of little town specifically designed for Pokémon such as Eevee and its evolutions because there was some sort of mayor house in the shape of an Eevee.

Ugh. Even the eevees have it better than me. Though, I do suppose that's because they're popular as fuck in Poketown. I'm just lucky to have what I have. My parents...as mean as they are, told me they worked their tails off in order to afford our house. I suppose that's one place I can always go back to, but who knows how long I can stay anyways.

There were houses in the shapes of every Eeveelution in this town.

There were even shiny versions and this place looked relatively newer than the other Eevee towns or Eevee villages.

This just made Pulse slightly more angry, but he continued to sniff the town for this Absol who was still hidden within the town. The town was huge.

It was almost as big as Poketown, but it appeared to be just slightly smaller than the populous town.

Finally, Pulse stopped as the disgusting scent of oranges got closer at a house with Flareon's ears approached.

Pulse squinted slightly as he spied the dark-type Pokémon's horn glowing, and his eyes excitedly staring at the house.

Pulse approached slowly.

"You're finally here. My horn tells me something bad is about to happen here...great! I suppose it's warning me of you, but that doesn't mean I am going to stop you. I can't wait to save my sweet, sweet Izar from you! You'll play along won't you?" Majnun wondered, bouncing on his paws, his claws digging slightly into the nice stone path that lead into the house.

"So, how am I supposed to get in? I think the door might be locked." Pulse barked.

Majnun tried his luck with the door, pulling on it and pushing on it as hard as he could. The door was made out of some kind of dark brown tree.

Pulse could hear shocked exclamations can be heard from within the home after Majnun toggled with the doorknob.

"W-what's that, dad? I hear voices. Are they intruders?" The small voice of Izar wondered as paws scrambled inside the house.

"I'll get it! I'm sure they're just travelers looking for help." The excited voice of Dwight's exclaimed as the scrambling turned into soft walking.

"Dad, don't answer that! No Pokémon would try to bust in the door like that! Just stay back here. We can call the Pokémon Police, and they will take care of things from here." Izar barked urgently.

Her voice then turned soft.

"If you open that door whatever is outside might hurt you, or worse, kill you. Just please stay over here."

The walking stopped.

Pulse thought for a bit in a panic.

He wanted to get inside, perhaps pretending like he's a traveler or a Pokémon in distress might make that lovey dovey, yet friendly Pokémon open the door.

Acting like this might be my only way to killing, and getting away with stuff. Dad, this is all your fault. Pulse thought as he sighed.

"Ive got this." He whispered to Majnun.

Majnun gave him a inquisitive glance.

He then smirked.

"That's good, I was thinking I would have to take the lead."

Pulse ignored his comment to the best of his ability before trying to send him away with his paw.

Majnun seemed to understand that was meant for him to get out of the way and hide.

Majnun strutted off to a bush and hid, shaking intensely with excitement.

"I can't wait to mate with her!"

Ew! I do not want to hear that!

Pulse tried to keep himself from making a face at that comment, sighing before putting on a fake face of distress.

He then knocked on the door.

"Hello? Is anyone there?!" He called, making his voice sound as distressed as possible.

He had to step harshly on his injured paw in order to make it work, though.

"You see, the Pokémon just needs help! He sounds like he's in pain. We've got to help him."

Pulse almost snickered.

This was almost too easy.

"I suppose so." was all Izar woofed.

Pulse imagined she was shrugging, as he tried to seem as pathetic as possible, even going to the length of scratching himself and giving himself some deep wounds.

The paw steps to the door continued, and the door opened.

"Oh! It's you! What's wrong?" Dwight wondered as he padded around the Houndour before gasping.

"What happened?"

"I got attacked by some Pokémon in the forest. I managed to escape, but I didn't know who would help me, so I thought why not the nice Sylveon and Jolteon who Hasira and I talked to in the forest!" Pulse tried to bark cheerfully.

Ugh.

"Oh, well don't worry! I think any other Pokémon in this village would love to help you out, but please come on in! We'll tend to your wounds. Now have you met my wife?"

Pulse smirked as Izar gave him a suspicious glance.

This was going better than he thought.
