I lead Ladybug over to the couch, making sure she can feel the heat from the fire. She stops crying as we sit, her arm looped through mine, leaning her head on my shoulder. For awhile, we both stare into the fire, for right now, no words are needed. Just being in each other's is comfort enough.

A Guardian comes over, and Ladybug quickly raises her head. "Guardian Crumb!" She stands up to hug the older man, and introduces me. Apparently, he was her mentor while I was oversea for awhile, and I'm glad she had someone to confide in.

"Lovely to meet you, Cat Noir," he says. Crumb has a long gray beard and blue twinkling eyes. "Ladybug, we'll be sure to get a note off to your parents as soon as possible." Ladybug takes a deep breath, squaring her shoulders. "Thank you."

"Now, you two must be hungry, otherwise we could do a small tour if you prefer?" "A tour sounds wonderful."

Crumb leads us around, showing us the classrooms, gardens, and finally the dorms. "The boys have a dorm, as do the girls, and you'll meet your roommates later." Roommates, huh? Hopefully they like cat puns!

"Ah, Cat Noir, you may not have to wait as long as I thought," Crumb smiles as we reach a large gray boulder with a blue haired boy sitting on top, strumming a guitar. "Cat Noir, meet Hydra, your new roommate."

"Awesome to meet you," I smile up at the boy. "I use to play the keyboard for a band called Kitty Section back in Paris." To my surprise, Hydra gives me a bored look. "The guitar is better any day, and I beat you in a piano competition with my eyes closed," he boasted.

Crumb wears a worried expression and motions for us to follow him down the path. "I'm sorry, Cat, Hydra never acts like that. I wonder what could be wrong with him." "You haven't had any suspicious activity around here have you?" Ladybug lowers her voice. "Any new visitors besides us?" Crumb strokes his beard thoughtfully. "No, you don't supposed he's been akumatized, do you?"

Before either of us can respond, Hydra jumps down from the rock. "Oi, you talking about me? Are you jealous of the best guitar player in the world?" "Hydra, what has gotten into you?" Crumb asks, his voice stern.

Hydra smiles, but it isn't pleasant. "My name isn't Hydra, its Pride. Now, let me show you what the master can do!"

Pride strums his guitar, the melody is so beautiful, I want to follow it. Ladybug yanks on my arm, hard. "Cat, he really has been akumatized! Plug your ears with these. Crumb, make your way to safety!"

I roll and stuff some fuzzy green leaves in my ears. Pride gives another strum, but the pull isn't as strong. "Cat, hold on, we're going to make a plan!" Whirling her yo-yo, Ladybug aims for the first high tree branches and we launch forward into the trees.

"We're do you think the akuma is?" I ask, when we're safely tucked away in the trees. "His guitar or pick. But what could could we do to free it?" "Make him angry enough he'll smash his guitar," I shrug. "And with a little luck, we'll have my new roommate back in no time!" "Lucky Charm!" Ladybug calls, and we have duck out of the way as a small keyboard drops into my hands, but Ladybug is confused about the second item. "A sprig of berries? What I'm supposed to do with this?" "You'll figure it out. You always do," I give her a quick kiss. "Time for Plan A!"

"Cat, wait! You didn't tell me what Plan A was!" Ladybug calls, but her voice is already faint. But I trust her, and she'll find a way.

Finding a pile of smooth rocks, I set my keyboard down, and start playing a piece from a real master, Bach.

Just as I predicted, Pride comes crashing through the trees. "You call that music? Let me show you how its done!"

A cacophony of sound fills the air, and though I want to cover my ears, our plan is working as Pride seems to be growing angry. "Stop playing, your making my perfect sound turn sour!" "Ah, your a sour grape, aren't you?"

Pride finally loses it, yelling and smashing his guitar to the ground. Sure enough, a small black butterfly flutters out and Ladybug's yo-yo is right there to capture it. My next thought is: What about the berries?

"I'll take peace and quiet any day," she smiles, letting the now purified butterfly fly free. Just then, the boy drops to the ground, no longer angry and wearing gaudy colors. "What happened? Is my guitar okay?"

I help him up slowly. "Just take it easy. You were akumatized, but its all okay now. I'm Cat Noir." Hydra's face now splits into a huge grin. "Off the chain! I've always wanted to meet you!" "Bugaboo's here, too!" "Kitty…." Ladybug groans, and Hydra laughs. "Well, whatever happened earlier, I'm sorry. So, Cat, I heard we're going to be roomies?" "You bet your meow."

A faint sound fills the air, Hydra cocks his head towards it. "That's the dinner bell. I was out here strumming when a small butterfly landed on my guitar. Next thing I remember is fuzzy. Boy, am I hungry!"

"Here, we can eat these on the way back!" Ladybug divides the berries between the three of us. Hydra shows us the way to the dining hall where students chat at wooden tables or stand in the food line.

"Follow me, and grab a tray. Ladybug, have you met your roommate yet?" Hydra asks. "Not yet." We fill our trays with food which consists of dumplings, steamed carrots and a square chocolate cake and follow Hydra to a middle table.

A small girl sits by herself, eating her food quietly, her hair in pigtails like Marinette does. "Hi, I'm Ladybug," Ladybug smiles and the girl lifts her head, her mouth dropping open.

It seems like M'lady has a fan.
