Raw: December 7, 2009
"TLC is in six days, and I finally got us a Divas match." I tell Michelle. "I didn't even talk to Mark Cuban. I spoke with my dad and got our Women's Championship match made."
"I want a Divas Championship match." Maryse comments.
"I can see why. You are the rightful number one contender. You could talk to my dad too."
"Maybe, we could have a Divas Battle Royal as well." Eve adds.
"Haven't had one of those in a while. You might want to go talk to my dad too."
"It has been a while."
"So what's on the agenda tonight?" Michelle asks.
"I face Maria, and you're gonna help build up hype for our Women's Championship match."
"Sounds like a plan to me."
Eve turns on the TV in the locker-room. "So why doesn't Mark Cuban like Randy?"
"Randy hit Mark with an RKO over six years ago at Survivor Series 2003." I answer. "Mark is still pissed about it."
"That's dumb." Maryse comments.
"Tell me about it."
We all go silent to listen as Mark Cuban appears on the TV. He proceeds to announce that he is adding Emily O'Hare to mine and Michelle's Women's Championship match this Sunday at TLC.
"No!" I shout. "Why?!"
"Cuban is an asshole!" Michelle adds.
"She doesn't deserve a shot!" Eve comments.
"He must hate us or something." Maryse mutters.
"No, this isn't about us." I tell the others. "Why did he have to put her in our title match, Michelle? He did it because I'm Randy's girlfriend. This is exactly why he did it."
"Wait a second…" Michelle turns to me. "Cuban has a flaw in his plan. Think about it for a second"
"Oh…there's no disqualification in Triple Threat matches. Ha! This is awesome."
"Emily isn't making it through the match. We can take her out first, and then, the best woman wins."
"Agreed, I believe Mark is supposed to be in the crowd all night."
"I heard that too. Why are you bringing that up?" Maryse asks.
"Because I'm not going to stand by idly while he is petty towards me." I smirk as I stand up. "I've got something in mind. I need to go find Randy."
Randy has been pissed all night long. I don't blame him. Mark Cuban is being an asshole towards both of us.
I walk into our locker-room. "Hey, handsome, I've got a question for you."
Randy looks at me as I close the door. "Yeah, what's up?"
"Do you remember how last week, after I helped you get your hands on Kane, you told me you owed me one?"
"Yes, why?"
"Can I cash in on the favor you owe me tonight?"
"What do you have in mind?"
"Let's call it a little role reversal. I want you to come manage me tonight when I wrestle against Maria."
"This is part of some sort of scheme. I can tell. Keep going."
"Well, I'm sure you saw that Mark Cuban already took it upon himself to add Emily to my Women's Championship match at TLC this Sunday."
"I did see that. What does it have to do with your match against Maria tonight though?"
"Well, Mark Cuban is sitting in the front row of the crowd by ringside all night tonight. Quite frankly, I don't trust him not to pull any funny business while I'm out there. That's why I want you there. If he comes over the barricade, he's fair game for you. I'm sick of his shit already. Once my match is over, I'm gonna grab a microphone and call him on his shit."
"That's all?" Randy asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, that's my plan." I answer. "Did you expect more or something?"
"Well, I figured you were gonna ask me to do something I wouldn't want to do if you were cashing in on that favor I owe you already."
"I wasn't sure how willing you were going to be. Does this mean you're on board?"
Randy laughs. "Absolutely, hell, I won't even count this as the favor I owe you. You can have another favor from me whenever the time comes. I'm more than happy to help you here. Mark is pissing me off too, and if he decides to get involved, I'm more than happy to let Survivor Series 2003 repeat itself. Plus, if the crowd doesn't like it, we're both still considered heels, so it'll be okay."
I know I want that girl so bad
I lie awake at night
And think of all the things that I would do
With a girl like that…
"This is a Divas match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Randy Orton, from Saint Louis, Missouri, the WWE Women's Champion, Marissa!"
Here she comes again, like good medicine
every step she takes, my blood is flowing.
Her legs go on and on for days...
"And her opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, Maria!"
Ding! Ding! Ding!
I run at Maria with a Thesz Press. I unload punches on her until the referee pulls me off of Maria. I hit Maria with a Clothesline. After that, I climb up on the top rope and hit Maria with a Missile Dropkick as she gets up. I pick her up and hit the Chaotic Ending. I pin her.
1...2…
Mark Cuban pulls me out of the ring. The referee calls for a disqualification as Cuban smirks at me. Randy and I share the same look on our faces, a look of anger. I grab a bucket of popcorn from a person in the crowd and dump it on Cuban. Randy turns him around and hits the RKO. I smile and kiss Randy before walking over to where Lilian Garcia was sitting at ringside and grabbing a microphone.
I walk back over to where Mark was lying on the ground with the microphone in my hand. "Listen up, Cuban, I've got some things to say to you. Before tonight, you and I had never met at all. We've never spoken, we've never seen each other in person, and we've never interacted. However, you decided to hold a grudge against me. You make my Women's Championship match this Sunday at TLC at Triple Threat match, adding Emily O'Hare in to take away my champion's advantage. Here's the thing though, Mark, I don't need the champion's advantage to retain my Women's Championship this Sunday, and we both know that's true. I think that's why you took it upon yourself to cause a disqualification in my match tonight just now, so I wouldn't get the pinfall victory over Maria. However, that showed you didn't learn your lesson. You're holding a grudge because Randy hit you with an RKO at Survivor Series 2003, and because you couldn't stay out of my business, history repeated itself. I'm not sorry about it. So stay out of my business for the foreseeable future or Randy will be the least of your problems."
I drop the microphone on Mark Cuban before grabbing Randy and heading back up the ramp.
