SmackDown Filming: December 22, 2009
I stop Teddy Long as he passes me in the hall.
Teddy looks at me. "Need something, Playa?"
"Yes, Teddy." I take a deep breath. "I need a match against Mickie James tonight."
"You just faced Mickie last week. Are you sure you want to face her again?"
"Mickie won that match. I can't move past that until I face her again."
"How about you versus Mickie in a Lumberjill match?"
"Works for me."
"Then, it's official, Marissa."
"Thanks, Teddy."
"No problem, Playa."
I walk to mine and Randy's locker-room. I open the door. Randy smirks at me.
"You're back already?" Randy asks.
"Teddy immediately approved." I answer. "And he made it a Lumberjill match."
"Good, less of a chance for Mickie to pull any shenanigans."
"I'm really excited. This is good for me."
"You should be. This should work in your favor."
"You know what else?"
"What?"
I grab him and kiss his lips. He wraps his arms around me. I let him pull me onto his lap. He returns the kiss.
"Rissa, sweetheart…" Randy says as we kiss. "You're so good at this."
"You are too." I mumble.
"Too bad I can't do this with you on Christmas."
"Don't worry. I have an early Christmas present for you that should satisfy your needs."
"If that is the early present, I can't wait to see what the actual present is."
"You'll love it." I tell Randy as we stop kissing. "I can't believe we made it through a whole makeout session uninterrupted."
"Me either."
"Where's everyone at anyway?"
"I don't know. I actually don't."
"Oh."
"Are Stephanie and Paul going to be at your dad's for Christmas too?"
"Yep, Shane and his wife are too."
"Are they all bringing their kids too?"
"Yep. Everyone is bringing their kids."
"I can't believe Shane's wife is coming. She's almost ready to give birth."
"She isn't gonna let that stop her."
"If it was you, you wouldn't either."
"Exactly."
"So what are they naming their kid?"
"I don't know honestly."
"Oh, well, if we ever have a son, I want him to be named after me."
"That's gonna take a lot of convincing, Randal."
"I know, but I can make it happen."
Maryse and Ted open the door.
"Rissa…" Ted turns to be. "Your match is next."
I kiss Randy on the cheek and pat Ted's shoulder as I go to leave. "By the way, I'm taking your girlfriend with me."
Maryse and I leave the locker-room and run into Eve.
Maryse grabs Eve's arm. "Come on, Eve! Let's go!"
We make it just in time to see Mickie walk out of guerilla to head to the ring.
All the ladies tell the fellas
We can do what they can do
We can do it even better in broken heels…
"And her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Maryse and Eve Torres, from Saint Louis, Missouri, she is the WWE Women's Champion, Marissa!"
Ding! Ding! Ding!
I grab Mickie and throw her into a corner. I start unloading punches on her. I'm tired of this bitch attacking me and knocking me out. The referee pulls me off of her. Mickie hits me with a Thesz Press.
"Are you wondering where Michelle is?" Mickie asks.
"Michelle can handle herself." I respond
"I knocked her out. Not sure she can handle herself."
So that's why I haven't heard from Michelle. Something snapped in me. I shove Mickie off of me and put my foot on her neck. I could stomp on her neck and end her career right now, but I decide not to. I throw her into the ring ropes and use the momentum to her with the Chaotic Ending. I pin her.
1...2...3!
"Here is your winner, Marissa!"
I grab a chair from ringside. I line it up as Mickie gets up. I hit her with the chair. When she's out cold, I continue to hit her with it. Maryse and Eve have to pull me off of Mickie and drag me backstage.
We rush to find Michelle in the trainer's room. I sit at the edge of the bed that she's been laying on. Michelle looks at me.
"It's obvious Mickie doesn't want me in the championship match...you kicked her ass, didn't you, Rissa?" Michelle asks.
"She may have been dumb enough to tell me during our match." I shrug.
"Well, she deserves it. Thanks "
"That's what friends are for. Are you doing okay?"
Michelle nods. "I'll be fine, but I know Mickie won't be."
"She won't. We both owe her some comeuppance. She'll get what's coming to her."
"I know. Royal Rumble can't come soon enough."
"You're telling me."
"So we're approaching your dad soon?" Maryse asks as she, Eve, Michelle, and I are sitting at the hotel bar together.
I nod. "Yeah, within the next couple weeks. Creative isn't budging. I gotta do what's necessary."
"We gotta do what's necessary." Michelle corrects.
"Yeah, we."
"I'm surprised you didn't get heat backstage for complementing Michelle and breaking character when you accepted your Slammy award, Rissa." Eve comments.
"At this point, I don't care. We had something great going. I'll complement Michelle whether people backstage like it or not."
Michelle smiles. "Thanks. Right back at you, Rissa."
"People might think you're using your last name though if we're speaking to your dad, Rissa." Maryse tells me.
"I don't care about that either. To be honest, my last name might be what gets him to consider. That's all I'm asking for, consideration."
"And we'll get that." Eve adds.
"We will. Shit, maybe we could talk about it at Christmas."
"That's not a bad idea. We're all going to be there, and it's not at work."
"Exactly, we have a great chance to talk to him then. Let me ask Shane and Stephanie for a good idea on approaching this, but this will be good for us. It's a great chance."
"It is. I can't believe you're talking to your dad about work on Christmas though, Rissa." Michelle comments.
"My dad is constantly thinking about things in the company." I shrug. "This won't be weird for him."
"You're really sounding like a McMahon there."
"Well, we know it's in my blood. It's gonna show sometimes."
"Well, it's really showing right now." Maryse jokes.
I roll my eyes. "Whatever. You three should be grateful."
"We are, but we still plan to pester you about it."
"I can tell." I finish my drink. "It's probably about time I go join Randy in our hotel room."
"You're giving up already?" Eve asks me.
"Randy wants to leave early in the morning. I can't be hung over or anything."
"He'll be driving anyway."
"Still don't want to be hung over. See you guys in a couple days."
