Raw: December 28, 2009

"Bret Hart is next week's guest host." I tell Randy.

"Awesome!" Randy responds.

"I need to make this Raw amazing tonight!"

"It's the last Raw of 2009. You'll make it a memorable one, sweetheart."

"I will."

"Good."

"Can you believe that ECW will be gone soon?"

"It sucks. Kinda thought having a third brand would last longer than this."

"I think I need to make one more ECW appearance."

"Maybe you can make one last appearance on ECW soon."

"Yeah, maybe I can."

"Who's your opponent tonight?"

"Emily, if she wins, she is in my match in the Rumble."

"Beat her. Beat her good."

"I will. Who's your opponent tonight?"

"Evan Bourne."

"Evan is pretty cool. Will you tell him I said hi?"

"I will do that."

"I'm ready for a fight."

"Good. You should be. Don't let Emily off easy."

"I don't plan on letting that bitch off easy."

"Kick her ass, Rissa."

"I will."

Randy kisses me. "Did I ever tell you about the talk with your dad and Shane during our Christmas festivities?"

"No, you didn't say a word about it."

"Well, they told me if I hurt you, they hurt me."

"I'm not surprised."

"And that's it."

"Really?"

"Really, that's all."

"Wow, I would've expected more from them than that."

"Me too but that was it, I was surprised too. I thought I would've gotten more than that."

I shrug. "Maybe it's because I've known you longer than I've known them."

"Maybe, I mean I have been stuck knowing you for fifteen years now."

I raise an eyebrow. "Stuck?"

"Kidding, I'm kidding."

"You better be. I should be expecting an appearance from Mickie tonight."

Randy nods. "Yes, you should, especially after what happened between you two last Tuesday."

"She had it coming."

"I'm not saying she didn't, but we both know she'll have it out for you even more now because of it."

"You're right." I look at the time. "I need to get going. My match is soon. I need to be in guerilla."

"Okay, good luck and come find me when you're done."

"Thanks."

We kiss, and I leave for my match.

I know I want that girl so bad

I lie awake at night

And think of all the things that I would do

With a girl like that…

"And her opponent, from Saint Louis, Missouri, she is the WWE Women's Champion, Marissa!"

Ding! Ding! Ding!

I throw Emily straight into the ring post. She bounces right off the turnbuckle to turn into a Clothesline from me. I then pick Emily up and hit a Chaotic Ending. I pin her.

1...2...3!

"Here is your winner, Marissa!"

I celebrate and turn around to come face to face with Mickie. We stare each other down for a moment, without either of us moving a muscle.

Granted I did get my hands on Mickie last Tuesday, that felt more like comeuppance for her attacking Michelle backstage that night. In my eyes, Mickie still had some comeuppance that she deserved for her multiple previous attacks on me. Tonight was not going to be like those other nights when Mickie got one over on me. Tonight was going to be different.

Mickie goes to hit me with a Clothesline, but I duck and hit her with a RKO. I stare down at her as she lays on the ground. I know better than to turn my back on Mickie.

Mickie starts to stir and is struggling while trying to get up. I kick her in the ribcage before hitting her with the Chaotic Ending before tossing her out of the ring.

I grab a microphone. "Mickie, I know you've pulled one over on me multiple times recently, but that time has come to an end. I'm the WWE Women's Champion and the Queen of Chaos. Letting you pull one over on me and not getting my payback is not how I roll. We've still got time until the Royal Rumble, and I'm going to let you get all that payback during this time. I'm gonna be the one in control now, not you."

I drop the microphone and exit the ring, walking past Mickie who was still laid out on the ground. I was in my zone again. I could feel it.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the WWE Women's Champion, Marissa." Josh Mathews says before turning to me. "Marissa, earlier tonight after you defeated Emily O'Hare, you came face to face with Mickie James in a confrontation that ended with you laying Mickie out and throwing her out of the ring. You did also make some comments in the ring after doing so. Would you please elaborate on those comments?"

"Josh, ever since TLC, Mickie James has pretty much been constantly pulling one over on me every chance she gets." I roll my eyes. "And as much as I would like to blame it all on her, that isn't the truth. This is partially on me too. I let my guard down too easily, and I paid for it. With that realization, I also came to the conclusion that it's up to me changing how I've been behaving to stop this from continuing. I was prepared tonight, and I meant what I said. When it comes to things between Mickie James and I, I'm the one in control now."

"As nice as that sounds, you're forgetting something, Marissa." Michelle remarks as she walks up to me. "You and Mickie aren't the only ones in that match at Royal Rumble. I'm gonna be there too."

"I didn't forget that, Michelle. I'm well aware of the fact that it's a Triple Threat at the Royal Rumble, but quite frankly, right now, you aren't involved in the personal issues between Mickie and I. Tonight wasn't about the Women's Championship. It was about the personal issues between Mickie and I. That's all, Michelle."

"If you say so, I'm just making sure you remember. It would be such a shame if you lost your Women's Championship at Royal Rumble because you were too focused on Mickie."

"My head is in the right place, Michelle. The WWE Women's Championship isn't going anywhere any time soon. I do respect you, but if you don't stop pushing with me, things are gonna get personal between us again real quick."

"We'll see how things go at Royal Rumble." Michelle smirks before walking away.

I narrowed my eyes at Michelle to end the segment. Man, I hated acting like this with Michelle on TV.
