SmackDown Filming: December 29, 2009

I had arrived at the arena not too long ago and was trying to find my locker-room. I was going through the hall, checking every nameplate to make sure I didn't miss mine. After going past Rey Mysterio's locker-room, I notice Randy standing in the doorway of the next one.

"I take it that this one's ours?" I ask Randy.

"It is. I've been waiting on you." Randy responds.

"Don't act like this isn't close to my usual arrival time. You've been alright waiting on me." I comment as I make it over to him.

Randy smirked at me as he, without saying a word, pulled me into our locker-room. I look at him curiously as he closes the locker-room door.

"We've been separated since six o'clock this morning." Randy tells me as he holds me close. "I missed you, sweetheart."

"I missed you too," I responded. "But what's the real reason you pulled me in here?"

"To kiss the hell out of you, I've been waiting all day to do that."

Randy starts to kiss my neck. I move so he can just go ahead and kiss my lips. Randy takes the opportunity I give him and does just that.

"You know, we both know that you don't have anything to do on TV tonight." I whisper. "I'm thinking that maybe once I get what I have to do done, we can go ahead and go back to the hotel."

"And what all do you have to do tonight?" Randy questions.

"Good news for you, I've just got promo time with Mickie and Michelle. It won't take me long, and I won't need to put on gear and won't get sweaty."

"That's not very bad at all. I'm thinking you're onto something with this hotel idea too." Randy comments as we pull out of the kiss

"I mean the sooner we get there, the sooner we get to spend quality time together if you get what I'm saying." I wink and smirk at Randy.

"You really know how to get to me, huh?" Randy whispers.

"We both know that's not a surprise." I lean in to kiss Randy again.

We get interrupted by John walking in.

"Rissa," John gives me a serious look. "Your promo got moved up significantly earlier in the show. Michelle asked me to let you know."

"Oh, I guess I should probably go get my hair and makeup done now, huh?"

"Probably."

"I'll get going. See you later, Randy."

I know I want that girl so bad

I lie awake at night

And think of all the things that I would do

With a girl like that…

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the WWE Women's Champion, Marissa!"

"On Sunday, January 31, I am defending my Women's Championship in a Triple Threat match in Atlanta at Royal Rumble." I tell the audience. "And who am I facing? Well, for those of you who don't already know, I will be facing Michelle McCool, a very talented woman who deserves an opportunity to face me once more, and Mickie James, a very evil, manipulative bitch who knew, in my anger, that I would allow her in the match. But I can guarantee that I will still be the WWE Women's Champion after Royal Rumble."

("Obsession" plays)

Mickie enters the ring while giving me a dirty look. "Marissa, you won't be walking out of Royal Rumble as WWE Women's Champion because I will."

"What makes you think you can win?" I question. "I've beaten you before, you know."

"I've held one more championship than you have. That means I'm more successful than you. Therefore, I will beat you easily. And…"

You're not enough for me (Oh no no)

Just another man in love with me (Just another man ooh)

Gotta open up your eyes and see (hey, hey Oh well)

You're not enough for me (oh no)...

Michelle enters the ring with Layla behind her. "Mickie, it seems you've forgotten about little ol' me. I am Michelle McCool, your other opponent at Royal Rumble, and I'm not to be overlooked. As for what you just said, the fact you've had more championships doesn't mean that you're gonna beat either of us."

"She has a point, Mickie." I add. "None of us have the advantage in a Triple Threat match."

Mickie rolls her eyes. "You two are pathetic. I'm tired of dealing with the two of you and can't wait to take you both out of the Women's Championship picture. The only reason you two are even still relevant are the men that you two are in relationships with."

"Randy and John aren't making Michelle and I relevant, but since we're apparently going there, at least we don't sleep around. Don't you know something about that, Mickie?"

Michelle laughs. "Yeah, you're the last one who should be bringing up who people are with."

Mickie slaps me and goes to slap Michelle, but Michelle blocks and punches her. Mickie turns around to walk away, but I block her path. She looks around for a way to escape. Layla cuts Mickie off and makes sure that doesn't happen.

Mickie goes after Layla, but Michelle and I pull Mickie down by her hair. Michelle picks her up and hits a Faithbreaker. I then hit Mickie with the Chaotic Ending. Michelle, Layla, and I look at each other before, instead of fighting, breaking kayfabe and hugging.

I didn't care. I wanted my girl back, and honestly, Layla was a good friend too.

Randy looked at me as we arrived in the hotel room. "So do you think you're gonna get heat for breaking kayfabe with that hug tonight?"

I shrug as I change into my pajamas. "Maybe, but I honestly don't care. I've not hidden how I've felt about having the Divas of Domination split up. I'm gonna keep fighting for that, so I probably have heat backstage already."

"You aren't worried then?"

I walk into the bathroom to start washing my face. "I'm not worried about it, are you?"

Randy walks into the bathroom doorway, so he can look at me. "I support you. I just know having heat can be pretty rough sometimes."

"I know that too, but I'm far too stubborn to let that keep me down."

Randy chuckles. "Yeah, you are pretty stubborn."

"Hey, I must've picked it up from you." I smirk at him.

"I don't know. It might've just come to you naturally." Randy stands behind me. "You know, I think 2010 is going to be a good year for both of us."

"You think so?"

"I do. I think you're going to get your group back together, and your popularity is going to keep rising. I plan on doing the best I can with Legacy and winning back my WWE Championship."

"I think that'll happen sooner than later." I finish washing my face and turn to Randy. "Maybe you're right. 2009 was great for me. Who knows what 2010 has in store?"

"I'm sure it's many wonderful things. Seeing as you're done washing your face and getting your makeup off, I believe I was promised some quality time doing a certain activity."

"You were, and I promise you that I'll keep my word. I've just got thoughts running through my head right now since you started talking."

"Like what?"

"What else do I want to do in 2010? I mean getting the Divas of Domination back together is my first priority, but I think I need to set other goals."

"Well, you're already Women's Champion."

I nod. "I am, but I doubt that lasts all year, even if I don't want to lose it. You know, even though I'm not thrilled about that thing looking like a Barbie accessory, I think 2010 might be the year I start going after the Divas Championship."

"Even though it looks like that, it is considered the equal to the Women's Championship. It does make sense that you'd want to add it to your accolades."

"I think I do. Plus, technically, the Women's Championship is supposed to be for SmackDown. I know I'll honor obligations and be on SmackDown too, but I'm a Raw Diva at the end of the day. Unless I get drafted, I don't think Teddy Long is gonna let me be in the Women's Championship picture forever. If I don't move rosters, I think the Divas Championship might be in my near future."

"And there's nothing wrong with that. I think you'll achieve whatever you decide you want."

"Me too, and I definitely would like to spend some more time as your manager in 2010 too."

"Well, I won't stop you from that." Randy kisses me.

"I know you won't. I think it's time I honor my word and do what I promised you."
