22. Cloud's Butterfly Effect

Based on the events of Final Fantasy 7, NOT the remake (unless it makes sense).

What if Cloud Strife got Zack's skills and memories… but it DIDN'T supplant his own?

Just how different can things get with a Cloud who recognizes Aerith?

A Cloud who knows he didn't make it into SOLDIER? Who knows Zack as his deceased best friend? Who killed Sephiroth on a fluke? Who recognizes Hojo? Who uses the skills of both SOLDIER and from the Shinra Infintry? Who has the mental strength to clip his own puppet strings?

Might things be better? Worse? Who knows? But it should be… interesting.
