One hour later
"Well Mrs Wilson, now I'm sure everything is fine, I'll be heading off. I'll be back in a few days to check on you both, but should anything change before then with either of you, please get in touch. In the meantime, congratulations, she's beautiful" he smiled. Rose knew that the Doctor probably said that about all the babies he delivered, though she knew he was right when it came to Emilia. "Thank you…" Rose replied.
Once she heard the front door close and knew the Doctor had left, she looked down at her sleeping daughter. "You really are beautiful" she whispered. "I promise I'll take care of you… we're not in the easiest situation, or the most normal… but we'll always have each other. I know your Daddy would have loved you… so, so much. I'll tell you all about him as you grow up" Rose sighed gently before placing a kiss on Emilia's forehead.

7pm
Rose placed a sleeping Emilia in her crib. They had both spent the day in bed, Rose holding and feeding her, not taking her eyes of her for a second. But once it reached 7pm, she was beginning to get hungry herself. Seen as she didn't have anyone to cook for her today, she knew she had to drag herself out of bed to do so. She winced as she got up and headed to the kitchen, still in pain.
She stood by the grill, waiting for the mac and cheese she was preparing to be finished. 'Not the healthiest of meals' she thought to herself, but it took minimal effort, and she had almost no energy by that point. She sighed a little to herself as she heard a knock on the front door and walked slowly to answer it, praying that the noise wouldn't wake Emilia.
"Oh, hi" Rose smiled tiredly at Marie as she stepped to the side to let her in. "Hey" Marie smiled. "How are you feeling" she asked "tired" Rose nodded. "She's worth it though" Rose smiled gently. "She's in my bedroom, feel free to go and have a look" Rose smiled again "I'm just making myself some tea, would you like anything?" Rose offered. "Don't be so ridiculous!" Marie said surprised. "You go and sit down! I'll finish it off for you, I'll bring you a cup of tea through with it in a minute. I'll meet the baby afterwards!" she insisted. "Oh, thank you" Rose replied gratefully with a small smile as she headed to the living room.
"Thank you" she gave a warm smile as Marie handed her the plate of mac and cheese along with a drink. "You're welcome" Marie smiled as she sat on the opposite sofa. "Does she have a name?" She asked, getting a nod in response. "Emilia" Rose smiled. "Oh that's beautiful" Marie smiled in response. "Thank you" Rose replied. "Honestly, go and see her, it's fine" Rose insisted "are you sure you don't mind?" Marie asked. "Of course not!" Rose smiled, watching as Marie left the room, she began to eat the tea she so desperately needed.

45 minutes later
Marie left not long after Rose had finished eating. She washed up Rose's plate before heading home, not wanting to get in the way of Rose and Emilia bonding.
Rose was sat on the sofa, almost unintentionally falling asleep when Emilia's cries interrupted her. She got up and headed to her bedroom. "Hey, shh" Rose tried to sooth her daughter as she lifted her up and climbed in to bed with her before beginning to feed her.
Once Emilia was fed and back asleep, Rose leant down and kissed her head. "Goodnight sweetheart… please let me get a few hours sleep" Rose chuckled to herself a little, desperate for a few hours of decent rest.
