"Dahlia " readied herself for the day, exiting the room, she saw the winx sitting happily at a table.

"Woah, gloomy!" Stella was referring to her choice of dark purple and black hues, musa quickly scolded her.

"Have a seat, you must be hungry," bloom gestured to an empty spot, Dahlia sighed and sat.

"You look like you achieved your enchantix," Flora said, trying to make small talk.

"Yeah… pretty recently actually, like, right before I came to Earth," Dahlia said solemnly.

"But that's a good thing, right?"

"I left my home to save it, now I'm not sure I can go back,"

"Save it from what exactly?" Tecna asked

"This horrible shapeshifter- let me explain; long ago to cease exploitation, shapeshifters, most of them anyway- hid away in a pocket dimension, that's where I'm from. This pink haired wizard who can shapeshift got in-"

"That's Duman!" Layla exclaimed, "he's one of the wizards who attacked you!"

"I gathered," Dahlia continued, "well he made his way in and started taking magic from the shapeshifters! I was able to weaken him, but I had to seal away my home…the others were so upset, they tried to force me to release him…"

"Hey, don't look so glum Dahlia, we'll help you get back ," Floras touch was soft, Duman almost melted.

"And besides, that's one less wizard for us to worry about," snorted Stella. Bloom shot her a look for being so insensitive. But Duman found her retort amusing. Giving her a small smirk let the sun fairy continue, "what are your powers?"

dahlia smiled, "I am the fairy of beasts," Roxy tilted her head inquisitively.

"What's the difference between the fairy of beasts and the fairy of animals,"

The woman looked to ponder a moment, before retorting, "Honestly, interpretation. Ogres, orcs, goblins, things like that- I have a connection to them, and they listen to me. My connection with animals like your dog there are strong, but most animals like that shy away from me- due to the base nature of my magic." The lies strung beautifully together like a necklace,

"What's the biggest thing you've fought?!" Stella asked abruptly, she was excited about the powers.

"Someone once bred a griffin and a hydra, that was pretty huge,"

"AND YOU FOUGHT IT?!"

"Not necessarily, I more so tamed it, soothed it so it could be contained safely,"

The girls stared in awe

"Creatures like that feel safe with you, the same way Artu feels safe with me," Roxy thought for a moment, "Do you think you could help me in learning my magic- You're a great teacher bloom, don't get me wrong- But with how similar our powers are-" she trailed off.

"I think it's a great idea, but not today, I should really rest and save my energy, who knows if those creeps will come after me again,"

"I agree," The redhead stood beaming a smile so sweet it made Duman's stomach coil, "Why don't we take you to the Frutti Music Bar, you'll love it! We can introduce you to the boys!"

Internally Duman groaned, but he smiled brightly "Oh that sounds like fun,"

Meanwhile, back at the cabin, Ogron had been quite confident in his plans, if playing the long game got them victory, so be it.

"So do we just wait around then? Ogron that's so tedious!" Anagan was complaining, but Ogron simply smiled.

"So long as our goal is met, I do not mind if I have to wait longer. Duman will signal us once he learns something of significance. Be it battle plans or a weakness," he turned to Gantlos, who was brooding and unresponsive, "why the long face, Gantlos? Surely you don't think Duman can't handle this," Gantlos peered through the rim of his hat, Ogron had that spark in his eyes. That flame daring Gantlos to challenge him. Gantlos could. Oh how he wanted to in that moment, but he refrained, instead simply asking, "Do you even know where he is?"

"He is with the winx-"

" I mean his location, he hasn't said anything to us since going with those fairies," his gravely voice was just as threatening as the look in Ogron's eyes, "How do you know he's not been found out?"

"Do you think so little of him? Is he so incompetent he can't even do a little stealth mission without you? Who knew you thought him to be so weak," Ogron was trying to gauge a reaction, he didn't like when his authority was challenged, especially by his own men. He wanted to know just how much Gantlos disapproved of the plan. Gantlos balled his fist, twitching, but he simply lowered his hat and grumbled about needing rest. Ogron had a look on his face Anagan couldn't quite read. Before he could ask, Ogron turned to him.

"Make sure Casanova does not ruin this," his order was low and dangerous.

"Why do I feel like I won't be the only one Gantlos wants to strangle soon?" Was all he could think before Ogron began droning on again.
