How did it go?" Henry asked as Rose sat down on the sofa beside him once she had said goodnight to Emilia. "It went well" she nodded "Emmy didn't find it as daunting as she thought she would, and once they started talking she relaxed a lot more" she smiled gently. "Is she going to school tomorrow?" Henry asked "yes" Rose replied as she cuddled in to his side. "I'll drop her and Charlie off on the way to work" he said. "Oh, thank you" Rose said gratefully. "She's worried…" Rose said in a slightly anxious tone. "About what?" Henry frowned confused. "That you won't love her anymore, if Jack becomes part of her life" she tilted her head to look at him. "I've told her that would never be the case" he sighed "I'll always love her" he continued. "I know… I know… I've tried to reassure her. I just don't think she wants to loose you if she builds a relationship with Jack" Rose smiled slightly. "She won't. If she does build a relationship with Jack, then great" he shrugged "she'll just have 2 dads to take care of her. Biology means nothing here, Rose" he finished. "Thank you…" she sighed relieved, soon interrupted by Alfie's cries. "I best go and feed him before he wakes the other two up" she said quietly as she stood up. "I'll come with you. I think we could both do with an early night" he nodded and followed her up the stairs.

"Have a good day, I love you" Rose said as she passed Charlie his school bag and kissed his head. "Bye mummy, love you" he smiled up at her with the grin that forever melted Rose's heart. "I love you, too" Rose said as she kissed Emilia's head. "Love you" she smiled as she took her bag. "Go and get your shoes on you two" Henry said as he kissed Rose who stroked his cheek in response "have a good day, I love you" he said "you too, love you" she smiled gently then watched as the 3 of them left the house.

Once Henry had dropped Charlie off at his classroom, he took Emilia to hers. "Morning Emilia" Jack smiled to her as she walked past him then looked to the playground, hoping it was Rose that had done the school run, but soon seeing it was Henry. Deciding to break the ice, he took a deep breath and walked over to him.
"Hello" Jack smiled awkwardly at him. "Morning" Henry replied bluntly. "Look, I hope nothing is awkward between the two of us, with Rose and Emilia I mean" Jack said. "How so?" Henry frowned. "Well, with mine and Rose's history… and me being Emilia's Dad" Jack responded. "I'm comfortable enough in my marriage to know that yours and Rose's history means nothing now. And as for Emilia, I'm pleased she's getting to know you, as that's what she wants. But I promise you, if you hurt her, I will kill you. You might be her dad biologically, but I've been her Dad for the last 5 years" Henry nodded seriously, taking Jack by surprise, who's tone suddenly turned serious "Well you don't need to worry about that. Have a pleasant day" Jack said in disbelief as he walked back towards the classroom, knowing that his and Rose's history would never mean 'nothing'.

Rose waited on the playground with Alfie in his pram and Charlie stood beside her, waiting for Emilia to be dismissed.
"Mummy!" Emilia grinned as she ran over to her. "Hi darling!" Rose smiled and kissed her head. "Hi Charlie" Emilia smiled at her brother "Hi Emmy" Charlie waved.
Rose caught Jack's eye as he stood at the door of his classroom dismissing the other pupils. "Will you two wait here for a minute please?" She looked at Emilia and Charlie who nodded in response and began to talk amongst themselves as Rose walked over to Jack with Alfie in the pram.
"Hi" Rose smiled gently at Jack as she reached him. "Hey" Jack smiled awkwardly. "Are you OK?" Rose frowned confused. "Yes… are you?" He replied. "Yes" she nodded a little. "Are you free tonight to discuss Emilia?" Rose asked, getting a small nod "yeah, I'll get you my address, 2 seconds" he said as he went back in to the classroom, returning a few minutes later with his address written down. "Thank you" she smiled a little, seeing Jack peer in to the pram. "He's adorable" he said "we think so" she nodded, referring to herself and Henry then turning her attention the Emilia and Charlie as they came over. "I thought I told you two to wait over there?" She raised an eyebrow slightly. "But we're boredddd" Charlie groaned, making Jack stiffle a laugh. "Are you Emilia's real Daddy?" He asked Jack, very to the point, which took Jack by surprise as he looked at Rose unsure what to say. "Erm…" he said. "Yes, he is, darling" Rose nodded and placed her hand on top of Charlie's head, but sensing Jack's uncomfortableness decided it was time to leave "right, that's enough questions I think. Let's get home and I'll make a start on dinner" Rose smiled at Emilia and Charlie. "Yes!" Charlie grinned, making Rose chuckle. "I'll see you later" she smiled at Jack. "Bye" he smiled gently "bye Emilia, bye Charlie" he continued. "Bye" they replied in unison as the 3 of them walked away, Rose pushing the pram.
