8am
Rose left her bedroom, holding Alfie against her chest as she bumped in to Henry on the landing. He had slept in the spare room again last night after not speaking to Rose since their conversation at dinner time yesterday evening.
"Who's taking the kids to school?" Rose asked, not even saying hello. "I will" Henry replied. "I want to speak to Jack" he continued. "If you're off to make more threats or make this any worse, then don't bother Henry. I'll take them myself" Rose sighed. "I'm not going to make this worse… I'm going to apologise" he said awkwardly. "Really?" Rose frowned confused. "What's changed your mind?" She finished. "I thought about it, and you're right. If I ruin this for Emilia then she'll never forgive me, and I'm not prepared to loose her" he replied. "Good" Rose nodded with a small smile "I best go hurry the kids along" she said. "I'll take him for a minute" Henry smiled and gestured to Alfie before Rose carefully passed him over and headed downstairs to hurry Charlie and Emilia up.

Jack sighed quietly as Henry approached him after he had finished greeting the pupils, including Emilia.
"Morning" Jack said coldly. "Morning" Henry replied "I wanted to apologise" he continued. "You did?" Jack frowned, surprised. "Yes… I just didn't want Emmy to get hurt… but has had talked some sense in to me. I know we're all in this for Emilia, and it won't work if you and I are going against each other, so again, I'm sorry" he nodded. "Oh… well thank you… and like I said, I won't hurt her" Jack gave a small smile before looking in to the classroom where Emilia was sat laughing, not noticing Jack and Henry. Henry held out his hand and Jack gave his back in surprise as they shook hands. "Have a nice day" Henry said "and you" Jack nodded and watched as Henry walked away. Jack sighed again, but this time relieved, grateful that Henry being calmer might make a relationship with Emilia easier.

3pm
Rose stood on the playground, close to Emilia's classroom door so she could speak to Jack when he started to dismiss the pupils.
"Hi" he smiled. "Hey" Rose smiled "where's Emilia?" She frowned confused, not seeing her. "Cloakroom, I've told them all to take their PE kits home" Jack replied. "Ah" Rose nodded "are you still OK for tomorrow?" She asked "yep" Jack nodded with a smile "2pm?" He asked, getting a nod back as Emilia came out the classroom "hello missy" Rose smiled "hi" Emilia smiled back and hugged Rose. "Right, let's go and get Charlie" she replied "see you tomorrow" Rose smiled at Jack again. "Bye… Bye Emilia" he replied before watching the two of them leave, Rose pushing the pram. Jack sighed to himself, again, something he had done multiple times today, as it hit him once again that he and Rose would never be together again, and all they would ever be now was co-parents.

5.15pm
"Hello!" Henry called through to the living room from the hallway. "Daddyyyy!" Charlie grinned and ran to him, giggling as Henry lifted him up. "Hey buddy" he smiled before walking over to Rose and Emilia who were sat on the sofa. "Hi" he smiled at the two of them as he bent down to kiss their heads. "Did you all have a good day?" He asked "yes, you?" Rose replied "yes, it was good thank you" Henry smiled "I'm just going to get a glass of water. Do you want one?" He offered "I'll come with you" she smiled and followed him in to the kitchen.
"Thank you for speaking to Jack" Rose said as she leant against the kitchen counter. "Well you're right, we're all in this for Emmy… you're also right about her being stubborn" he smirked "I'm sorry for putting you in a position where you had to choose" he smiled awkwardly. "Thank you" she smiled gently as she walked towards him and wrapped her arms around him. "I'm taking Emilia to see Jack tomorrow, so are you OK to watch Charlie? I'll take Alfie with me so I can feed him if he needs it" she said. "Yes" he nodded "thanks" she replied and kissed him quickly before Emilia and Charlie walked in to the room. "What's for tea mummy?" Charlie asked. "Erm, how about pizza?" She suggested, getting 2 eager nods in response. "That's sorted then" Rose smiled at the two of them before heading over to the oven.
