"Oh!" I gasped as I pulled another tendon. My body ached from training, day and night of it. Soon after my awakening, I'd trained to become stronger, working day and night to improve my skills.
While I didn't need sleep, food, or water, my body could still ache and hurt like any other one, albeit way slower, and with a lot less pain involved.
But my training was very painful. I had split myself into 2 clones, who were fighting and training together to get stronger. Since we were both going all out, the force of the attacks could injure us both.
Luckily, I had just learned a skill called Ultra-Speed Regeneration (as I dubbed it), which allowed me to heal any injuries, even severe damage, in split seconds.
It also heals most of my fatigue, as while I can't sleep, I can still get very tired. Too bad it doesn't help me with all of my fatigue, or nothing could stop me from getting stronger!
Thing is, as far as I know, this planet is uninhabitable. The lab was the only thing on it, and I destroyed the lab. As far as the eye can see, it's just barren, rocky land, even where I didn't create a giant, far reaching crater 3 days ago.
As my clone continued to fight against me, my mind wandered. Why did my hairstyle look like Broly's hairstyle? And not the Dragon Ball Z one, The Dragon Ball Super one! How'd they found him! And what about Android 73! I mean, how long has he existed?
I'm clearly using a manufactured body, so what was going on! How did I get here! There's no entertainment other than fighting, and I haven't tasted food and drank water in DAYS!
I mean, I don't even need those things, as I found out that awhile ago when my tail flipped over the calendar while I tried to tame it. Apparently, my body's creator had listed a bunch of my skills and abilities, and one of them was not having to eat and drink.
Which I must admit, is pretty handy, especially when you're trapped on an inhospitable planet like this one. But, back to the point. I need to get to Earth or some place like Lord Beerus's planet, where I can train more efficiently, and at least have a bit of food.
I re-merged with my other clone to compose myself. What would be my next step? Well, first, I needed to learn how to fly. Running fast was not enough.
I needed to learn how to fly and use ki. Suddenly, I got an idea! It wasn't a wise one though, but if it worked then… I'd be good to get out of this planet. Well… Time to learn how to fly…
Even on this barren flat planet, if you looked far enough, there were a few mountains that rose up, cold and stony. So, I looked for the highest one.
It was pretty needless to say what I was going to do. My awakening of flight would be falling off a mountain. Bad idea, right?
Well, saying that's a 'bad idea' is an understatement. This was a terrible idea, but it's the only one I can think of.
I climbed up, and up, and up and went as slow as possible, trying to delay my inevitable and self-inflicted fate. As the top of the mountain got closer and closer, my conscience wondered if this was the right thing to do.
I shook the feeling of impending doom off and as the mountain top was close enough to grab, my tail locked on it. Well, this might actually reduce this mountain to dust.
As my tail secured the mountain top, I got ready to destroy it. Well… Here goes. The instant my tail let go of the mountain, I jumped. And it was terrifying to see how much destruction was caused by me.
There was a massive crater where the mountain used to be. There was heat where there was once snow, and there was magma where there was once rock. I could practically feel the burn of staying near there. Well, great. That was obliterated.
I nearly forgot that I was in the air until the momentum of my push was now being overtaken by the force of gravity. In layman's terms, I was falling.
"Ahh!" I screamed hoarsely. Even if I didn't die, the impact would probably hurt for a few years after, which I wouldn't like. But how would I stop my fall!
I tried to concentrate on my core, imagining energy flowing through me, guiding me in the direction I wanted to go, which was up. As the ground got closer and I fell faster, my conscience questioned me if this was a good idea. Was I wrong on doing this?
Would I die? I questioned myself a lot. But my concentration did not give up apparently, because I wouldn't stop concentrating on my core. As I got ready to receive the fall, my body twisted and turned.
My hair swished wildly. I was scared and apprehensive at the same time. But then… Something happened. I was surrounded by Navy Blue ki.
It wrapped around my quickly falling body, and I started going up! I continued focusing, imagining my ki nudging me upright and slowly pulling me to the ground.
Perfect. As I hovered just above the ground, I realized that I needed to be able to fly without concentrating like that, like the Z-fighters can. I sighed. A lot more training to do…
Goku could feel the power. The power, far far away, with its good intentions, its emotions, everything about it. It was massive indeed, bigger than his! Goku was excited. He probed it, and… It felt kind of like Gohan's! And Frieza's! And… Cell's! It was a collection of ki's, and it growled slightly bigger with each passing second. He readied up his instant transmission! He was going to this mysterious ki! They could spar with each other! Suddenly, a voice rang out. "Goku!" It was Chichi! "Food's ready! It's a lot bigger today, so eat up!" Goku's stomach rumbled, and he was reminded of his hunger. "Coming!" he shouted. This massive ki would have to wait. He was starving!
