I needed a spell. One that made Serana and I switch bodies. After Damon and Serana had disappeared into his room. I called Bonnie and asked her about a spell like that. She willingly gave it to me. I told her it was for a college that had vampire activity and I needed a way in. So I needed a spell to switch bodies with a student. She was more willing to help. I had grabbed Serena's bra from Damon's room as a representation of her so I could. Bonnie cast the spell. I grabbed one of Damon's shirts and changed into it. I snuck up to Damon's bathroom and turned the water on.

I woke up to running water. I snuggled closer to Damon and covered my head. The water got louder and then shut off.

"Damon?" I shot up and saw myself.

I looked around the bathroom and bedroom. I realized my bra was gone. Damon stirred beside me and I looked over. When he opened his eyes all I saw was anger.

"When will you give up Elena? Damon is mine! I came back and am here to stay." I didn't sound like myself.

I looked at the woman standing in the bathroom. She looked and sounded like me. I looked like Elena.

"What the hell?" I gasped.

My voice didn't sound like my own. I was thrown from the bed against a wall.

"Get the hell out Elena! I chose Serana, not you." I was confused.

I was Serana, but I looked like Elena. I stepped forward.

"I'm not Elena. I'm Serana." Damon laughed at me.

"Elena this is low. I could just snap your neck. Get your stuff and leave." Damon said to me.

I looked at my body. I knew it was Elena. I saw the evil smirk come from Elena wearing my face. I looked around and spotted Damon's jacket. I looked up at him.

"Fine." I stepped forward and grabbed the jacket.

Then I ran out of his room. Tears came, but I didn't let them fall. It's not his fault Serana. I went to what I remembered was Stefen's room and grabbed a pair of shorts. I slipped them on and then pain blossomed in my chest. I heard a moan and then I heard Damon saying my name. Everything hurt and I found myself falling to the floor.

What the hell is happening?

"Damon, help me." I whispered as everything went black.

When I got back to the Salvatore house I could hear moaning coming from Damon's room. I could also hear something else. It was faint, but I could hear someone whimpering. I ran upstairs only to find Elena on the floor in pain. She was clutching the leather jacket that Serana had come back wearing. Something was off. This couldn't be Elena. She's a vampire and would never just collapse.

"Elena?" I called.

She opened her eyes and I was worried. She was in so much pain that her eyes were full of tears.

"Elena? What happened?" She gripped her chest and cried out.

I needed to look. I lifted up her shirt and found black spreading through her veins.

"What the hell is this Elena? Is this for attention? Still trying to get Damon's affections?" She grabbed me and tried to lift herself up.

"I'm Serana." I met her gaze.

She was telling the truth.

"What did Elena do to you?" She had passed out before I got an answer.

I picked her up and went to Damon's room. I kicked open the door. Elena in Serana's body looked up. She smiled, but then shrieked and tried to cover herself.

"Stefen why the hell would you bring that in here?" I glared at him.

"I have my reasons mainly because that woman on top of you isn't Serana." He cocked an eyebrow up at me.

He looked at me like I was crazy. Serana whined and she had shoved her face against the jacket. I felt bad for everything I had said about her to Damon.

"Think Damon. Who woke up next to you? Who was staring at you when you woke up? If it was Serana who was staring at you wouldn't you have felt Serana get up? You would have also known the moment she got into your bed and yet you didn't." Elena smirked at me.

Serana whined in my arms and I got pissed.

"Bonnie gave you a spell to switch bodies. So you poisoned yourself beforehand so Serana would die didn't you?" Damon's face went white.

After Stefen said that I looked up at Serana. I knew instantly that he was right. I wanted to kill Elena, but first we had to reverse the spell. I pulled her off of me and tied her up. She started yelling so I tied something around her mouth. Stefen had watched me. I walked up to him and looked down at Elena in his arms. She was clearly in pain. She was holding onto my jacket as if her life depended on it.

"It hurts." She whispered.

I watched the tears fall down her cheeks. I pulled out my phone and called Bonnie.

"Hello?" Bonnie asked.

"Bonnie it's Damon. Before you hang up please listen. I know Elena had you do a spell. I need you to undo it. She lied to you and now Serana is dying. Do you remember Serana?" I felt so bad.

"Wait, you mean the girl from two years ago? She came back? Did you just leave Elena without thinking about how she would retaliate? This is your problem Damon." I sat down on the bed desperate.

"Bonnie, she's sixteen. She made me think about leaving Elena. I almost didn't. However, I couldn't stay with Elena Bonnie because I love Serana. Please don't punish her, she's innocent Bonnie. She has barely lived her life Bonnie. Please don't let her die. Please." My vision became blurry and I dropped the phone.

Stefen handed me Serana. I took her and started crying even harder.

"I'm so sorry Serana. I should have never brought you into this. I'm so sorry." I felt her hand on my face and saw that the poison was now creeping up her neck.

"It's not your fault. I came back. It was my decision. Please don't blame yourself. Besides, if I die, so will she. My human body won't be able to survive a vampire soul. She just signed her own death warrant. So in the end I also win." She laughed and then coughed up blood.

I looked up at Stefen.

"I can't lose her, Stefen." I heard Bonnie on the other end.

"I'm coming to you, Damon. I won't let Elena die." I was upset she still took Elena's side.

Serana coughed again and I turned my focus to her.

"Hold on please Serana." I begged.

It felt like an eternity before the door downstairs opened. I heard Bonnie rush upstairs and stop at my doorway. I looked up and I saw the surprise on her face. She rushed to Serana.

"What's happening to Elena's body?" She asked.

"It's a fast acting poison. I don't know. It certainly won't be the permanent death for Elena. However, if Serana dies while in Elena's body and Elena's soul doesn't return to Elena's body. Elena will also die." Bonnie put her hand on Serena's forehead.

"Hi Bonnie." She mumbled and then coughed.

Bonnie grew very angry and went over to Elena. She pulled out a knife and reached under the shirt Elena was wearing. She pulled out Serana's bra.

"That's Serena's." I was angry.

"It's what Elena used to link the spell. All we have to do is burn it." Bonnie pulled a lighter out and threw the bra in the sink.

She set it on fire. Elena's body thrashed and Serana let go of my jacket. I dropped Elena's body and went over to Serana. Her body had gone completely limp. Her eyes opened suddenly. She struggled against the ropes and tried to breathe. She was scared.

"Easy it's okay. You're okay Serana." I untied her.

"That was scary Damon. I saw so many dead souls. I." Her eyes widened as she looked at me.

"What? Serana, what's wrong?" She smiled at me.

"It's your aura." She said.
