Then 5 ODSTs started to mount 5 UNSC modified Gloucester that an ONI team secured when some of the scientists and engineers needed samples of knightmares to see if they could make it more deadlier using UNSC tech and they successfully did.
"Vikings, your orders are to rendezvous with senior tactical officer Lamperouge and assist him in neutralizing the britannian threat" reported Alfa "501st marine company will be evacuating civilians and giving long range assistance. Long range support will be snipers, cobras, and kodiaks. Approximately 25 remote control hornets will be in the field as your air support."
"Deploying in 5...4...3...2...1...deploying" announced Alfa as 5 large objects were dropped from lower orbit.
'I don't understand what it is you wanted me to do. Why did you give me this bizarre power?' thought Lelouch as he looks at the corpse of the girl that saved his life
"Zero come in" radio in JACK
"This is Zero, what's happening?" responded Lelouch
"Fireteam team Viking is heading towards you and the 501st marine battalion has started to move the civilians out of the ghetto" reports Nick
"What of the resistance members of this ghetto?" questioned Lelouch
"They are communicating well with us but they distrust us" says JACK but then he says very alarmed "Zero there is a single Knightmare frame heading towards the building you are currently in. Standby as I call for assistance"
"Negative I want to try something first" says Lelouch
"Acknowledged" responded JACK as he now monitoring Lelouch by using drone that had been deployed in that sector
The said knightmare comes to the scene to see the dead bodies of the Royal Guard and 'elevans' with a single Britannia student.
"How could all these Royal Guards be dead? What happened here, boy? And why is a Britannian student in a place like this?! Are you deaf? Answer me or I'll- Answer me!" demanded the voice of a female pilot
"I order you to come out. At once" ordered Lelouch as he activates his mystical eye powers
"Who the hell do you think you are to order me?" retorted the pilot
'I see. It only works with direct eye contact.' thought Lelouch as he says "My name is Allen Spacer, my father's a duke."
'Nobility?' thought the pilot as she realized that saving the son of a duke from a dangerous ghetto could reward her with titles and glory that she is dearly hoping for.
"My ID card in my breast pocket. After you confirm who I am, I'll request your protection." says Lelouch
The female pilot dismounted revealing a women with dark skin and silver hair
"Keep your hands up in the air, I'll take out your ID." says the women as Lelouch put his hands in the air but suddenly the boy's left eye lit up red with a bird in the middle
"Now then, hand your Knightmare over to me." orders Lelouch and bird flew to the women's eye
"Understood. The code number is XG21G2D4." responded the women with a total lack of emotion in the voice
"Got it and you will forget everything about me 5 minutes after I leave"
"Acknowledged" responded the women as Lelouch mounted the frame started to head towards the train tracks that is located in the ghetto
"What the heck was that Zero? What did I just witnessed?" questioned JACK
"I don't know but it will definitely speed up our plans to take down Britannia and can you tell Fireteam 'Viking' to meet me here"
"Can do" responded JACK
Now in the knightmare, he takes out his phone to call a familiar orange haired girl
"Ah, Lelouch? What in the world have you been doing? Where are you now? If you keep cutting class, you'll get held back." answered Shirley
"Are you near a TV?" asked Lelouch
"A TV?" questioned the girl
"Sorry, but this is important." responded Lelouch
"Hang on. Hey, can I change the channel." says the girl to another student who is currently watching
"Huh? To what?" says the student
"The news, is there anything about Shinjuku?" asked Lelouch
"News? Uhh, let's see… There's nothing on. Traffic restrictions?" says the girl
"Why is it restricted?" questions Lelouch
"I don't know. They're not saying." responds the girl
'I get it. Once they finish everything off, they'll release news that favors the military.' Lelouch realizes
"Ooh, you're gambling again, aren't you? I've warned you before more than once how dangerous that is!" scolds the girl to Lelouch
"Yep, you caught me. By the way, tell my little sister that I'm gonna be late home tonight, would you? Thanks." says Lelouch as he hangs up the phone
'They need to keep a lid on this information, so it'll be hard for them to call in reinforcements. They'll have to make do with the pieces they have on the board. I may be able to get myself outta of here but I already ordered the evacuation of this ghetto. With that order the UNSC will be forced to reveal itself due to being seen by the ghetto's civilians.' thinks Lelouch
"Hate to break your line of thought Zero but could you please help command our troops" asked JACK
"As you already most likely deduced, Britannian forces are keeping information like this under wraps but has a downside of being unable to call in reinforcements. The UNSC as it's current strength can't either due to us activating the alarm for war too early than intended date. Fortunately the 501st marine company is on station but with only 100 men, 5 cobras, remote controlled hornets, and ODST fireteam 'Viking'. We don't have enough numbers right now" reports JACK
"But the resistance members do" says Lelouch
"Yes and oh, I see what you are planning now so hear this, a train full of Sutherlands is on the way to the Shinjuku Ghetto as of right now" says JACK
"Even better, so shall we get started" as Lelouch says with smirk on his face
As he started to study the current battlefield he noticed a lone resistance fighter getting cornered and said the fighter was nearby to the train route, so time to save a life. Pressed some commands to activate comms to the fighter and said "The west entrance. Use the tracks to move to the west entrance".
"Who's this! How do you know this code?!" responded the fighter with a female voice
"That doesn't matter. If you wanna win, you're just gonna have to trust me." responded Lelouch
"To win?" questioned the woman but she complied with the order "Okay, what am I supposed to do now?"
"Since you trusted me, you're gonna win. Jump onto the train!" ordered Lelouch
As the woman follows, he arms his knightmare's rifle and aims at the enemy knightmare to give the fighter some room to breathe. He fires and once confirmed, he immediately leaves the area to contact the other resistance members to go to a set of coordinates to where the train full of Sutherlands has stopped. As both groups of resistance arrive, he activates comms to the person who he assumes to be the leader.
"Are you in charge?" asked Lelouch
"Ah, yeah" responded the leader
"I present to you the cargo in that train over there. They're tools for your victory. If you want to use them to win, then follow my orders." he said
"Are you the commander for those soldiers we met while trying to evac the civilians" asked the leader
"Yes I am " responded Lelouch, he then turned off comms to the resistance but did notice a comm request from Viking-1.
"Report"
"Sir, we are surrounded by britannians but cobra 1 and 2 is giving you overwatch, they will spot any enemy units getting too close. 3 and 4 is guarding the civilians, but 5 has eyes on enemy G-1 but can't do anything without revealing itself"
"How about our hornets?"
"Only 30 hornets. While enemy has 60 sutherlands, 20 VTOLs, and 30 tanks"
With a plan in mind he opens comms with the resistance members.
"Woman in the Glasgow!" announced Lelouch
"Y-yes!" responded the women
"Stay where you are. Your unit's gonna run decoy. You got that?"
"Understood"
"Energy filler status?"
"About 15 minutes worth."
"Then recharge it! In 10 minutes, I'll contact you with your next instructions." Then he opens a comm channel to Jack, AI commander for all remote/drone controlled units, "Jack I need you to take command of all hornets and direct them in assisting the rebels."
"It shall be done" responded JACK
Reopening comm channels to the woman and saying "I need you to lure some sutherlands here" closes that channel to open the main group to question "P1, can you move? It operates basically the same as what you're used to."
"Can't you tell us who you are, at least your name?"
"I can't do that. What if these signals are being intercepted? Anyway, if Q1 is on schedule, enemy Sutherlands, probably two of them, will reach you in 23 seconds. Shoot them through the wall." Then some seconds later 2 sutherlands is wiped out.
'An ID signal can be a double edged sword. Besides, if the terrorists follow the orders I issue, my task at hand is sure to be completed.' he thinks to himself
"P1, P4, P7, move a hundred meters to the right and fire your slash harkens toward 3 o'clock."
Inside the britannian G-1 base we see tactical officers and General Bartley fussing over the holotable that shows all current troop positions
"The enemy's moving towards G 28" report one officer
"Send Laslo's Squad, I mean [Glaubey]'s Squad!" Bartley commands
"This means terrorists have military-grade weaponry?" commented Clovis
"Sir [Glaubey] has ejected! His units have been lost!" says the officer
"Change our codes, they're intercepting our transmission. Take down those unknown VTOLs, they must be spotting our forces from them" Bartley commands
"We already have sir, four times! And we no longer have the available anti-air weapons to take them down."
"Change the codes again and get the G-1 CWIS to target those enemy VTOLs"
"This failure is unacceptable." says Clovis
"Forgive me." says Bartley
Then suddenly a man wearing a scientist outfit appeared on a camera feed that is coming from behind britannian lines
"Good afternoon." says the scientist
"What is it? We're in the middle of an operation." says Bartley
"I'd say it's time to deploy the [ASEEC's] special weapon." says the man. Assumed to be the lead scientist of whatever is this [ASEEC's] special weapon.
"We've no time for this right now." says Clovis
"R2, fire anchor" "B7, use UN ordnance" "N group, you'll continue your advance." says Lelouch on the other side
"We just lost Laslo's Squad." says an officer
"We'll have to bring up Quincey's squad." commands Clovis
"My Lord, that will break the encirclement." says Bartley knowing this is a foolish move
'Now it's coming to the end of the battle. However, the enemy has five options. Their move.' thought Lelouch
"Reinforce the breach with some of the units guarding me. All we know for certain is that enemy forces are here." says Clovis as he is pointing at a dot on the holotable
"Well that's a more stupid move than I expected. You, Q1, do you have an area map?" asks Lelouch
"Yes, I have a map of the old town. But it has no current landmarks." replied Q-1
"It'll do." says Lelouch
"All right, send in Burts and the others too." commands Clovis
"Activate mission number 3 now." says Lelouch
"Concentrate our forces there. Surround them." says Clovis
"Is everything prepared?" asks Lelouch
"The enemy's main force is that center dot. Finish every one of them off." Then he noticed there was no enemy in sight "What?! Where's the enemy?"
"With this, I call check." With that the entire building collapsed as the main structural beam was taken out. Thus every single soldier that was in that building was wiped off the battlefield. However there is still one more potential threat that has yet to reveal itself.
"Who? Who in the hell am I up against? What if he's even better than Todo? Lloyd!" yelled out Clovis
"Yes, Your Highness." says the scientist
"Can it win, will your toy beat them?" says Clovis
"My Lord, please be so kind as to call it Lancelot." replied Lloyd
"Z-01 Lancelot now activating. Lancelot activating. Releasing hatch. Z-01 Lancelot standby for activation. Pallet extension initiating." Intercom blares out
"Did you read the manual?" asked a blue haired lady to an alive Suzaku Kururugi
"Pretty much." says Suzaku
"Well done. You scored at the top of the class in the simulator." noted the lady
"Hey, look. About what you told me earlier." says Suzaku
"Huh? Ah, it could be. But the possibility is nearly zero." replied the lady
"But that means there's still a chance, right?" asked Suzaku
"Yes, I'm afraid that's true. Even so, you're not to do anything reckless. The new system is not outfitted with an ejection mechanism." says the lady as a warning
"OK. I understand, Miss Cecile. That's it?" says Suzaku
"Yes, the advanced weapon developed by us in the Advanced Special Envoy Engineering Corps, Lancelot, the world's first seventh generation Knightmare Frame." says the lady now named Cecile
"Well, if you're ready, Suzaku, shall we proceed with the initial startup?" says Lloyd
"Initial startup. Now perceiving from phase twenty. Equipping energy filler. Confirm pre-start. Energy filler now at full output. 30 seconds to reach critical voltage. Core Luminance, shifting phase." says Cecile as she prep the knightmare for launch
'Another push and the check point will fall.' He thinks but notices a member calling for him "What is it?" asked Lelouch
"This is a B group, reporting enemy presence." reports B group leader
"Hm? Reinforcements?" "Fawkes give me visuals." turning back to the leader "Status?"
"Every one ejected, but they took out four units in nothing flat." says the leader
"Enemy numbers?"
"Just one. I think it's a new model. I've never seen anything like it- Ah!" B group cuts out, signaling his unit was wiped out
"What? It has shields?" he says shocked 'It's like a giant spartan, maybe I could lure it … no wait it is only shielding the forearms.'
"All resistance members fall back to your designated evac zones, we can handle from here." "Viking Squad neutralize that knightmare " "Cobra 1 and 2 assist Viking squad" "Cobra 3 and 4 head to cobra 5 position be ready to fire" barked out Lelouch
"Acknowledged" from all units mentioned
'It's up to Viking squad now, I should start moving' Thought Lelouch
"Hmm this is where the enemy commander is supposed to be" says Suzaku as he observes his surroundings however he notices a glint in the distance, on top of a building.
BANG
With insane reaction time, Suzaku dodged the incoming sniper shot and quickly moved into cover. However that would be the least of his problems. His Factsphere Sensors detected a rather large unknown knightmare coming to him. Then a wall came down with a large silhouette of a knightmare in the smoke of dust. However the Lancelot was unarmed; he still had 4 Slash Harkens which he had launched 2 at the silhouette. As the Harkens hit the target, a resounding electrical hum emerged and the dust settled. Revealing it to be a heavily modified Sutherland with 2 shoulder mounted guns wielding a large chaingun. However there is a yellow energy field surrounding its entire body.
"Suzaku, that knightmare has some type of Blaze Luminous system that is covering it all" says Cecile
Meanwhile in Britannian lines Loyld, Clovis, and Bartley are orbserving the battle
"Someone made a perfect Blaze Luminous system without me" says Lloyd "I must see and take it apart"
"That knightmare and the engineer that modified it could be very useful to the Britannian military" noted Clovis
"You heard his Highness, Pilot, that machine is to be captured intact, and the pilot alive if possible! Clear?" ordered Bartley
"Yes, Sir" says Suzaku
"Oh you want a fight little man, come and get some then" yelled out the unknown pilot in heavy german accent as he unleashes a hail of bullets
Using the Lancelot's arm shields to block some of the bullets while dodging and weaving between buildings.
Unknown Knightmare
"Lindholm you need to kite him to a clearing where Cobra 1 and 2 are set up at. When you get there, pin him down."
"Yes sir" says the now known Lindholm as he start shooting areas where the Lancelot tries to escape while taking taking hits
However it seems the enemy pilot knows what Lindholm is trying to do and is avoiding the clearing.
"Target is currently 50 meters from the objective" says Alfa "WARNING! Cobras 1 and 2 are preparing to fire. Please force the target into the clearing."
"Damn it, he's not getting closer. I need to force him out, guard my gun for me" says Lindholm as he lets go of his chaingun so he can push the Lancelot towards the clearing.
"WATCH OUT! He is coming for you" yelled out Cecile as Suzaku tried to push back against Lindholm but couldn't due to the mass difference. They are now out in the open but Suzaku knows there is a sniper somewhere so he must get back into cover. However Lindholm will not have that happen.
"You are not going anywhere so stop struggling." says Lindholm
"Suzaku, you need to leave. Unknown turreted vehicles with large energy outputs are aiming towards your location." ordered Cecile
Suzaku saw the vehicles and struggled even harder. Then Lindholm let him go, just as the vehicles fired. In the Lancelot cockpit, Suzaku blacks out from the impact. Outside, the Lancelot's Head and legs were destroyed leaving the torso somewhat intact.
"NOOOO, MY LANCELOT" Cried out Lloyd as he watches his Lancelot was destroyed
"Get recovery teams to extract the Lancelot and it's pilot" orders Cecile to other technicians
Fear. Fear for his life. Clovis felt fear and it was something never felt for a long time ever since he was a child. He needs to get away, away from this battlefield. As Clovis starts trying to leave, a tactical officer speaks up.
"Your Highness, Unknown enemy contacts around the G-1." Another shouts "TAKE COVER" As everyone tries to duck for cover, some manage to see a missile head for the bridge.
KA-BOOM
After the explosion, they look out to see the all the G-1 defenses destroyed and numerous dead britannian knightmares and troops dead. With a single knightmare holding up what appears to be a rocket launcher and 25 unknown VTOLs surrounding the G-1. While he was looking out, he was totally caught off guard by being attacked behind him.
Lelouch and the remaining three members of the Viking squad were just outside the G-1 bridge door. Lelouch is now wearing a faceless mask that he usually wears when he needs to be incognito. He held a suppressed M6C while the Vikings had suppressed SMG.
"Thermals show only 6 people inside, sir. No guards" reported Viking 5 as he was hacking the door open "Open Sesame"
"Kill the tactical officers and capture that advisor. I'll deal with Clovis." ordered Lelouch
"Yes sir" says the 3
When the 4 of them rushed into the room, Viking 3 & 5 immediately aimed at the tactical officers chest and heads and fired. Viking 1 immediately rushed the advisor and choked him out and put handcuffs on him. Lelouch however aimed his pistol towards Clovis's head.
"Your Highness, call in a Ceasefire, Now" ordered Lelouch as he presses a button on the G-1 holotable to activate a broadcast message
"Attention all forces. Cease fire at once." says Clovis as he tries to not let panic into his voice "I Clovis, third prince of Britannia and royal viceroy of Area Eleven, here by command of you, all forces are ordered to cease fire at once. You also cease destruction of any buildings or property. All casualties, whether Britannian or Eleven, shall be treated equally and without prejudice. In the name of Clovis la Britannia, you are hereby ordered, cease fire at once. I shall allow no further fighting."
As Lelouch cancels the broadcasts, he hears Nick through his ear pierce. "Zero, enemy forces are standing down. We have won this day" says JACK
"I'm not done here, Vikings leave me. I wish to speak to Clovis alone" says Lelouch
"Understood, sir" says Viking 1 "We will be just outside and by the way our extraction pelican is almost here. Captain wants a full debrief when you are done" Lelouch nods as the the Vikings leave the room
"And what shall we do now? Sing a few lively ballads, or perhaps a nice game of chess?" Joked Clovis
"That has a familiar ring." says Lelouch
"Hmm?" questioned Clovis
"Don't you recall? The two of us used to play chess together as boys. Of course, I would always win." says Lelouch as he begins to take off his mask knowing the Bridge's cameras are offline.
"What?" says Clovis
"Remember? At the Aries Villa?" says lelouch, mask almost off
"You, who are you?" asked Clovis
"It's been a long time, big brother. The eldest son of the late consort Marianne and seventeenth in line to the imperial throne, Lelouch vi Britannia, at your service." says Lelouch, fully revealed and doing a mocking bow
"Lelouch?! B-But I thought–" stuttered Clovis
"That I was dead? You were wrong. I have returned, Your Highness. And I've come back to change everything." interrupted Lelouch

Suzaku saw the bomber and struggled even harder. Then Lindholm let him go, just as the bomber's payload was released and detonated. In the Lancelot cockpit, screens went dark and power went offline. Outside, Lindholm's knightmare is designed to resist the Disruption Bomb EMP albeit at reduced efficiency of combat ability. Lindholm is sure the Lancelot is out of service but doesn't know for how long though. As a precaution he used his knightmare arms to rip off Lancelot's arms and legs.
