Chapter 2: Alien Encounter

8 years later

Alvin is now eight years old and he was sitting at the table eating his breakfast. Then he saw both Sean and Marvin come with fishing gears on. They both were staring at Alvin with a smile on their faces.

"Al, you're still eating? C'mon bud, we got fishing to do." Marvin said.

"Coming." Alvin said.

He finished his breakfast as he walked over to the sink to place his plate in the dish water. He ran upstairs to grab his gear. Then John came out of his room and saw his son with his fishing rod. He chuckled for a bit as he scratched his head and looked at the calendar to see it was the day.

"That's right. It's camping day." John said.

Few minutes later

Alvin was outside at the lake side of the house as Marvin was teaching him how to fish. Alvin was a little nervous about hurting animals. Marvin told him that this was the way people of old time do to survive.

"Okay, little bro. Relax. The fishes can sense fear through the ripples in the water." Marvin said.

Alvin inhales and exhales to calm his fears. After a few breathing exercises he felt at peace. Then the bobber started to sink into the water which caused Alvin to gasped.

"You got one. Quick. Reel it in." Marvin said.

Alvin started to reeled his prey in and pulled his rod upward which caused the fish to come out of the water. It landed in front of him as he pulled the hook out of the fish before putting it back into the water.

"There you go, bro." Marvin said.

Alvin chuckled for a bit as he placed the fish back into the lake. The three trio heard the sound of a horn being blown from the truck. The teen started to grab both poles and headed towards the truck and placed them in the back. John came outside to see that the boys were ready.

"Alright, guys, you're ready for the best camping of your lives?" John asked.

"Yeah!' Alvin, Marvin and Sean answered.

"Okay, but we have to make a couple of stops first before we get out to the campsite." John said.

He drove off with his sons while Candice, Jenny, and Sarah were staying home as they waved off to them. Once they got further away from home, Sarah was looking at the other girls.

"Well, the boys are out of the house, what do you girls say about girls' nights?" Sarah suggested.

"Okay." Candice and Jenny answered.

On the road

Alvin was looking out the window as he was looking at the trees as they drove by. He was looking over at his brothers who were playing a random game they made up.

"Hey Al, you want to play?" Sean asked.

"What the game is called." Alvin asked.

"Well, it's called 'Cloud guess,' the rules are to pick out a cloud and guess it is." Marvin said.

"Okay. I pick that cloud." Alvin said.

He was pointing at the lumpy shape type of cloud. Marvin and Sean were thinking hard.

'Oh, I know. It has to be a person." Sean said.

"Yes." Alvin said.

"Then it has to be a man or a woman." Marvin said.

"It's a woman." Alvin said.

"It has to be Mama Candice." Sean said.

"Correct." Alvin said.

The three of them were laughing. John was chuckling to himself as he turned the exit which led up to the mountain. The game went on for a couple hours until John stopped the truck because they had arrived at the camp spot. The boys got out of the truck and they were looking around as they were in awe at the campsite. The site was close by a to a river with a waterfall.

"Do you guys like it?" John asked.

"Yeah!" Marvin, Sean and Alvin said.

"Well, I used to come up here with my father when I was young." John said.

Then the four of them heard a sound of a horn honking as they all turned their head to see a Camper that came to a stop. Then an Asian woman with long black hair and she was wearing a purple shirt and blue jeans short shorts.

"Oh, I guess that this spot is taken. Sorry sweetheart we'll have to find another place."

An Asian girl around the same age as Sean and Alvin. She had long black hair and she was wearing a white shirt and basketball shorts.

'Awww, I have picked this spot out as the best spot."

"Hey I know you. You're Rayla Chang, who ran the Ultraman Museum in Japan." Alvin said.

"Wait, THE Rayla Chang, the scientist that studied the existence of Kaijus." Sean said.

Rayla smiles because she has found some fans. She gasped as both Sean and Alvin offered her a pen and notebooks.

"Please, can we have your autograph?" Sean and Alvin asked.

John chuckled as he walked up to his sons and grabbed to pulled them away from Rayla's personal space.

"Sorry about that. My boys get starstruck when they meet someone like you." John said.

'It's quite alright. I got my reputation bound to find me." Rayla said.

"Allow me to introduce them. This is Marvin, my second eldest and these two are Sean and Alvin. And I am their father John Kruger," John said.

"Hello." Marvin, Sean, and Alvin said.

"Nice to meet you all. This is my daughter, Anna. She is also a fan of mine as well." Rayla said.

"Mom! Okay. I am." Anna said.

John placed his hand on his chin as he was thinking of a solution.

"I got it. Why don't you and your daughter stay with us? This place is big enough for all of us." John suggested.

"Well, we can't find another spot with a great view and space. Okay. we will take your offer, Mr. Kruger." Rayla said.

"Just called me John." John said.

Rayla and Anna went back into their Camper RV to grab their camping gear. Marvin, Sean and Alvin were taking their gear off the truck and they started to set up their tents. Sean was looking at Anna who was pitching her tent.

"Hey, Sean. you're staring." Alvin said.

Sean was knocked out of his trances as he was looking at his brother who was snickering. He blushed as he looked away to avoid being teased by his brothers.

"Will you look at that, Al. Our brother just caught the love bug." Marvin teased.

Alvin was laughing while Sean was blushing. The three of them went into the forest to find some dead wood. Anna and her mother were gathering water. Sean, Alvin, and Marvin came back with a stack of wood. They were enjoying the grunt work.

Sean was looking at Anna who was on her laptop. Marvin was getting Alvin's attention. Alvin turned his head to see his older brother, who was making a kissy face and pointing at Sean. Sean turned to his head to see what they were doing which he was blushing. He grabbed a stick to hit them which both of them duck.

Both Alvin and Marvin started running while Sean was chasing them. Anna looked up for a moment as she giggled before she went back to her laptop. Sean was swinging the stick at his brothers while John was looking at them as he sighed and palmed his head.

"Those kids." John said.

"Well, they can't help but have fun." Rayla said.

"True. And I am surprised that the Japanese united force would let you out here. Unless they have something that the world doesn't want to know." John said.

Rayla sighed as she walked away from the children as John followed her. She was looking at him as she crossed her arms.

'How did you know?" Rayla asked.

"Come now, I am the head director of Greece's Military division core. I have the right to know." John said. "And plus I did some background checks on you."

"You did?" Rayla asked

"Yup, you did most of your research on Kaiju because of the incident with a certain Kaiju that went rampaging throughout Japan. Not to mention that you have also been researching Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Power Rangers as well." John said,

"Wow. Nothing gets past you. You are right, I have been doing some research on earth defenders and Kaijus because I believe that there are evil forces at work. And since Ultraman is gone, we need new warriors to protect out country. My findings lead me here." Rayla said.

'I see. So, you decided to infiltrate my country's land to get in on something that might be here." John assumed.

"Well, Japan needs to stay ahead of everyone." Rayla said.

"Well, I have a good mind to arrest you for invasion. But I am on vacation with my boys. So, anything that crashes land on these solids is rightfully belongs to Greece. Understand." John said.

"Of course, sir." Rayla said.

She turned to leave as John walked back over to the boys who were trying to start a fire.

"I am telling you guys to use a leaf. It can help with the fire." Alvin suggested.

"I believe rubbing two sticks together would make a better fire starter." Sean said.

"You're both wrong. I've using wood shavings to start a fire." Marvin said.

"All three of you are right. But if you want to start a fire real quick is to use a match or a lighter." John suggested.

He grabbed a pile of stick and lay them in front of the boys and pulled out a match box. He struck a match and tossed it into the pile of sticks. He blew on into spread the flame to the other sticks where flame started to ignite.

"There you have it, guys. We have fire." John said.

He walked off with his fishing pole.

"Show off." Alvin, Sean and Marvin muttered.

"I heard that." John said.

The boys grabbed their poles to join him. A few hours has passed, Anna was looking through her laptop about a meteor shower starting up soon. She was looking through where to spot a good view of the meteor which she saw that there was a big hill further up from the campsite.

Sean, John, Marvin, and Alvin came back with a bucket filled with fishes. They placed it near the table that John pulled out from the truck.

"I still can't believe that we found a perfect fishing spot." Alvin said.

"Yeah, dad. You never told us that there were some major fishes here." Sean said.

"Well, boys. This river leads out to sea so we were bound to find some sea fishes for us to catch.' John said.

Anna closed her laptop and walked over to the boys. She was looking at so many fishes in each bucket.

"Is this going to be our meals for today?" Anna asked.

"Today, tomorrow, next day, next day after. We are going to be out here for a good week. What about you and your mom?" John asked.

"Well, we're going to be moving after three days. But I hope to see this year's meteor shower tonight." Anna said.

"Well, I hope you will see it." John said.

Once the fishes were ready, they all started eating their meals. Anna grabbed some fish and head inside of the camper to give some to her mother. The boys were roasting marshmallows and they were enjoying themselves. Then a couple of hours later, everyone started to head for bed. Anna opened her eyes quickly as she reached for her laptop to check the time. She quietly closed the laptop to make sure not to wake her mom. She quiet leave the camper. She walked over to the tents and tapped on it.

"Sean…Sean… you awake?' Anna asked.

Then she watched as the zipper to the tent started to move and open up. Sean poked his head out of the tent.

"No, I just love the sound of my brother snoring." Sean said, sarcastically.

"Get dressed. We're going out to the big hill." Anna said.

"We? As in you and me?' Sean asked.

"More like you, me and Al. I want to see the meteor showers." Anna said.

"Sure. Let me get him up." Sean said.

He closed the tent as Anna waited for a moment. She turned around to see that the tent was open and Sean was dragging a half asleep Alvin. They both were black shorts and black shirts.

"What the *yawn* the reason for dragging me out of bed?" Alvin asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Meteor shower." Anna said.

"Oh okay." Alvin said.

Anna walked towards the location. Sean followed her while Alvin just went to sleep as he was standing up. Sean came back and pushed Alvin to make him walk. The trio was wandering into the forest as Alvin, who was fully awake. He was looking for a route that would lead to the hill. The boys manage to steal a couple flashlights so the trio could see.

"I think that this route should lead us to the hill for the meteor shower." Sean said.

Anna was looking through her laptop which to her surprises Sean was right.

"You're right, Sean." Anna said.

The trio took the route that Sean picked out. The walk took about forty-five minutes and they arrived at the hill. They were walking towards the top and Anna started to set up her telescope and look at the night sky.

"This should be it. The stars are starting to align. The meteor are starting to enter the earth's atmosphere." Anna said.

They all started to take turns to look through the telescope. They all picked a spot on the hill and looked up at the sky. The meteor showers started to begin. They all were in awe at how beautiful it was to witness the meteor shower for the first time in their young lives.

Alvin narrowed his eyes as he got up took a look at the telescope to see something.

"Hey, is it just me or that meteor is heading straight for us." Alvin said.

"What?" Anna asked.

She got up and looked through the telescope as she gasped to see that Alvin was right. There was a meteor that was heading right for them. Sean was looking at the sky as his eyes widened. The trio grabbed the telescope and started running for their lives. The meteor was harling towards them.

They were running as fast as they could but they all jumped before the meteor hit the ground. They slid on the grass and they all got up and dusted themselves off.

"You guys alright?" Anna asked.

"We're good." Alvin and Sean said.

Anna was looking at the pile of dirt.

"What hit us?" Anna asked.

"I don't know." Sean answered.

While they were talking, Alvin climbed back up to check out the crash site. His jaw dropped at the sight of something that he saw.

"Uh guys. You might want to come up here." Alvin called out.

Both Anna and Sean exchanged looks before they started to run up to the top of the hill. They both were in awe at the sight of the crashed ship. Alvin was looking at his two friends for a moment.

"So, does anyone have any idea why a crashed ship was falling from the sky…" Alvin said.

The dirt that he was standing collapsed from underneath him as he fell into the crater.

"Alvin!" Sean and Anna screamed.

They both jumped down after him as Alvin was rolling down until he came to a hard smack against the metal craft. He slowly got up while his hand was on his lower back. He looked up to see that both Anna and Sean were sliding down the crater to check on him.

"Al, are you alright?" Sean asked.

"Yeah, I'm good. But how are we gonna explain this to dad?" Alvin said.

The trio looked up at the crater to see that it was a steep climb back up. Anna turned her attention to crashed ship and she walked over to it and placed her hand on the destroyed ship before the door fell off. Alvin and Sean were looking at her.

"Well, are you two coming or what?" Anna asked.

She pulled her flashlight as she walked inside. Sean and Alvin were looking at each other before they both shrugged and followed after Anna with their flashlights. The trio were looking at the ship. Alvin pointed his flashlight over some of the sparks of exposed wires.

The trio continue to look around the ruined spacecraft. Alvin noticed some unknown creatures that look almost alien-like. Anna looking at the computer monitor was destroyed. Sean kicked something that made an echo sound which he pointed his flashlight to see it was a helmet of some kind. He picked it up and had an evil grin.

"Man, this place has seen some better days." Alvin said.

He was about to turn around when suddenly…

"Brahhhhh!" Sean roared.

"Ahhhh!" Alvin screamed.

He placed his hand over his heart as it was beating faster like a rabbit. Alvin watched as Sean removed the helmet from his head to show his face while he was laughing.

"Dude! You almost gave me a heart attack doing that." Alvin scolded.

"Sorry, I had to do it. It was a cool helmet." Sean said.

Alvin examines the helmet for a moment to see that it made him remember something. He brushed his finger on the metallic helmet until it hit him.

'Dude, do you remember seeing this somewhere?" Alvin said.

"Yeah, from our Saturday morning TV show Power Rangers in Space." Sean said.

"You two watch that show?" Anna asked.

"Well yeah, how else are you supposed to spend your Saturday mornings? Sean said.

Anna looked away as she was blushing as she was reaching into her pocket and pulled out a keychain that had a logo that says "Turbo" on it. She had found friends that have the same interest as her.

"So, um who's your favorite." Anna said.

"Well…" Alvin said.

"Hold on, Al." Sean said, looking at Anna. "Why do you ask, Anna?"

"W-Well, i-it i-is just b-because I might have the same interest as you two." Anna said.

Both Sean and Alvin exchanged looks and smirk. They both had to guess that she was a fan as they are.

"Well… My favorite would have to be Tommy Oliver." Sean said.

"Mine with TJ." Alvin said.

"Well, I have to say Tommy Oliver too." Anna said.

Alvin smiled as he pointed his flashlight to continue the search until he came to a stop at something that was floating in the air. He walked up to the glowing sphere. He poke it as the sphere started to ripple from his touch. He was going to touch it again but this time his hand got stuck.

"Uh, guys. I might need a little help over here." Alvin said.

Both Anna and Sean turned their flashlight over to Alvin to see that he was stuck to an unknown sphere.

"Al, what are you doing?" Sean said.

"Nothing. I just touched it." Alvin said.

Both Anna and Sean were trying their best to pull Alvin's hand free from the sphere. The two were struggling to get Alvin free, but suddenly the sphere started to pulse which pulled both Sean's and Anna's hands to the sphere. They both were trying to pull their hands free.

"What on earth is going on?' Sean asked.

The trio continued to struggle to get free from this sphere. Then suddenly the sphere started to glow. Alvin noticed that the sphere was powering up. He wanted to warn the others, but they were too busy trying to get free to notice. Suddenly, they were hit by a electrical blast that send energy throughout their bodies. Alvin started to see a vision of himself holding a device with two dragons on the front and back. Anna started to see that she was holding a small device that was shaped like a stopwatch and she was dressed in a white armor. And Sean started to see that he was holding a device that can transformed into different versions of morphers and he was transformed into different Power rangers.

Once they saw enough, their hands were free from the sphere as they dropped to the floor. They were unconscious and an Alien appeared before them. He was looking over as he looked at the sphere.

"My young friends. I would like to apologize to place you three with a heavy burden. Your world is now part of a war that should have never happened. I have seen what lives within each of your hearts and I see that greatest within the three of you. I fear that the darkness will make its move soon."

The mysterious alien raised both of his hands as the sphere started to glow once again, but this time three devices appeared from it. He placed his hand on Alvin's forehead as he smiled for a moment.

"I see, you were born into this world without a mother and abandoned by those that were supposed to be your father. But not all was lost when a loving mothers and father took you in as their child. I see that you have the gift to balance not only the Light but the darkness within your heart. You shall be known as the twin dragon rider."

He was looking at Anna as he place his hand on her forehead as well.

"Ah, I see that you have been searching for someone that will understand you. And you believe that these two will be those people. You are wise to seek something like this."

He floated over to Sean and placed his head.

"Ah, you were born to be a leader, but you have a wish to protect those that are precious to you."

Then place a device that looks like an interface that shows images. Then the interface started to glow that showed many different forms of rangers (This device I like to call the universal morpher where Sean can be any ranger from Mighty Morphin to Mystic Force. I haven't seen the newer shows. But I might add in some Sentai Rangers' morphers in the near future.)

"You three will not remember this encounter. As you grow up, your powers will manifest and your journey will begin."

Then the alien started to disappear and the sphere started to crumble. Then the kids started to teleport back to the camp in a white light. The boys were back in their tent while Anna was back in the Camper. John got up because he his phone was vibrating.

"Hello," John said.

"Sorry to bother you on your leave, sir. But we have picked up a strange reading in your location."

"What?" John whispered, looking over at his sons who were sound asleep. He started to leave their tent. "What kind of reading?"

"We don't know, sir. But we will be sending out a recovery team."

"Send me the location of that reading and I will meet up with the recovery team." John said.

He looked at his phone to see the location. He started to head towards the location. While he was out, the three devices started to glow to give out their locations.

Meanwhile

John arrived to the location to see a crashed ship and he was looking through it for a moment. Then he came across a pile of dust where the sphere used to be at. He placed his hand on it to see that it was nothing but dust.

"Whatever was here, it's not here anymore. This is going to be hard to explain to the superiors. Then John heard a sound of a some kind. He came out of the ship and saw a spark of light as it open a rift and three women appeared out of the rift. Two of the women were human andthe third was a cat person it large cat ears. All three of them were covered in cuts and bruises.

"Please…help us…"

John watched as the three women collapsed. John went over to them and watched as the rift closed behind them. Then several helicopters started to arrive at the location. There were a lot of people that were surrounding the crater. John was looking at some of the research team.

"See, that these three get proper treatment." John ordered.

"Yes Director."

He walked over to the next group of people.

"I want this ship strapped and transported back to base. I want every researcher on this." John ordered.

"Yes, Director."

"And can someone please refill this crater before someone suppect." John said.

"On it, sir."

He sighed as he headed back to camp. When he got back, he saw that the boys were still asleep. He smiled for a moment which he knew that it was time to make breakfast. He started to set the fire once again and started cooking.

Anna came out of the camper for a moment and stretch her arms for a moment. She was looking over at John who was making breakfast and she was looking at her laptop to see that there was a picture of her, Alvin, and Sean were at the hilltop watching the meteor shower.

She smiled as she placed a strange device which caught John's eye.

"Where did you get that?" John asked.

"Oh I found it when I woke up." Anna said.

Then Sean and Alvin came out of their tents as they were rubbing their eyes. John turned her attention when he saw them holding devices as well.

"Where did you two get those?" John asked.

"We woke up with them." Sean and Alvin said.

They both handed it over to John as he looked over these strange devices. He pulled out his personal scanner to see that the readings were off the scale. He noticed that it was infused with their DNA.

"What do you think, dad?" Sean asked.

"Don't worry about it, Sean. Why don't you guys eat your breakfast?" John said.

They went to get their meals and Marvin got out of the tent and went to fix himself a plate. John was looking at the devices and he was looking at the trio who were laughing together and he smiled. He placed the three devices into a suitcase and closed it.

"I'll tell them when they're older." John said.
