Hi everyone,

Hope all of you guys are safe and having fun!

To answer a few questions in the reviews. Raj is whispering his comments to Howard and since it is so early in the story Raj, he still hasn't gained the courage to speak to Penny. I will try to make that a little clearer whenever Raj speaks. I don't want to reveal any more than that for now because it might spoil the rest of the story.

The last time I saw The Bing Bang Theory was a few years ago. However, there were a few plot lines that I really love, and I will be taking a few liberties with them to fit the direction of the story better. Hopefully, it doesn't cause too much confusion. I really want each character to grow along with Penny and her writing career. I will be updating soon!

Chapter 6:

It was relatively strange walking back to her apartment. She had gotten a quick lunch from the local Chinese restaurant. She knew she would be having Chinese later that night, but she wanted to celebrate her meeting with Marisol by eating Egg Foo Young. Penny, also, reason that since she got the Chinese food from a restaurant two blocks down instead of the Chinese restaurant four blocks up from their apartment then she wasn't betraying the guy's weekly tradition.

She exited the elevator and enter her apartment. She sat around and watch her favorite shows for about an hour. She then turned the channel to see the first episode of Star Trek. Penny thought it was a start to maybe understanding a few more references that the guys threw out. She probably would never understand all the physics or rocket science stuff, but she could understand pop culture.

Late in the evening around 7 p.m., she knocked at Sheldon's apartment. Sometimes it was easier for her to call it Sheldon's apartment. She didn't want to remind herself that her ex-boyfriend lives there too. It was almost too raw of a reminder that now she had to knock instead of freely being able to enter the apartment at any time. She wonders if that feeling would go away anytime soon. She hopes it would.

Luckily, Sheldon opened the door. Penny said hi and he handed her a Styrofoam plate. Lately, he had been the one opening the door. After the breakup, Raj tried but then he would close the door in her face. She wondered how the guys decided on this new arrangement.

They ate mostly in silence when Sheldon interrupted by saying "Now we will begin the customary tradition of telling each other what we did today. I will start first since my day is the most exciting"

"Excuse me but why would you think that your news is the most exciting?", Howard said.

"Well, because as my mother and multiple people have said throughout my life: Sheldon you truly are remarkable. Therefore, logically the most remarkable person in the room would have the most exciting news" said Sheldon.

"Maybe, we should try the humblest person in the room instead of the most remarkable?", said Penny.

"Unfortunately, Penny no one in this room is humble. My news is truly amazing. It will change the course of our lives. I just can't believe I didn't do it any sooner", said Sheldon.

"How, how on earth can your news change our lives?" Leonard said.

"Well, as Penny wrote love changes your very soul and changes everyone around you. Or at least that is what I understood from all the metaphors. Poetry isn't my strong suit. But that isn't important right now. Let's go back to my important news. It is really simple: I have a date on Saturday.", said Sheldon.
