The trailer opens with the voice of Keanu Reeves saying the « How do we know what's real ? » quote, his voice having echo as if it was far away, from the demo « The Matrix Awakens » before slow, ominous ambient music starts to play for some seconds. Then, suddenly, all music cuts and D.E.L.I.L.A.H., sitting in a chair and smoking in an empty pipe, appears. She is in a sort of library room and reads a book. She then closes it and looks at the camera.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : During World War II, in order to protect the world from the Nazi threat, the Justice Society of America was created and led by Diana Prince, also known as Diana of Themyscira or Wonder Woman. As thanks for their services, they had to face the paranoia of one J. Edgar Hoover, who tried by all means to paint them as Communist agents (mostly because of Diana' really progressive values on human rights), and it led the JSA to retire. It has always been so.

Screens of newspapers from the time are shown in a rapid-fire way while acoustic guitar is heard playing in a ruff, almost disoriented manner, before it cuts back to the library room.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : In 1994, a Canadian post-rock trio named Godspeed You! Black Emperor released their first album, All Lights Fucked on the Hairy Amp Drooling. It immediately became a massive success, with more than 300 000 copies sold, and launched the group' into stardom, at least before their retirement in 2000 due to high stress from touring and pressure to live up to the expectations of said debut and its successors, to the sadness of millions of fans. It has always been so.

Cut to the footage of a 1995 live show from GY!BE. Despite the poor quality, the concert still looks viewable. Nothing unusual happens, except in the last 6 seconds, who show a person looking suspiciously like The Pighead floating in the air while the group is playing.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : Everyone knows that the main reason of why Tony Stark decided to stop selling weapons was when he saw terrorists using them to kill innocents. However, another reason of his doing so was when he discovered, early during his career as Iron Man, that even supervillains were using his tech. The most notable example being a certain Spider-Man enemy. It has always been so.

Cut to Otto Octavius confronting Bruce Banner, Jennifer Walters and Hank McCoy, as shown in « Gamma Relations ». A bizarre music track, comprised of multiple samples from preexisting songs smashed together in a deliberately odd and amateurish way, starts to play, even as the trailer returns to D.E.L.I.L.A.H.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : One of the most bizarre and less-talked about adventures that the traveler from Gallifrey known as « The Doctor » experienced was the one time one of his old enemies, the Monk, called his twelfth incarnation for help after he averted the Russian Revolution by accident and made human history completely chaotic. All of this because he made Grigori Rasputin listen to Boney M' Rasputin. It has always been so.

Cut to the Sacha Dhawan incarnation of the Master looking at a video recording of the incident and taking notes while in his TARDIS. He can even be heard softly laughing.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : In an alternate timeline, Squidward Tentacles decided to end his life after being harshly booed off during his clarinet recital. A sudden death who came as a shock for everyone who last saw him alive. A proof that if you go on your day feeling suddenly grouchy, it might be best to go back to bed. It has always been so.

Cut to the regular version of Squidward Tentacles, from Earth-3151 (the animated NickVerse), in his bed, trying to sleep while the events of « Spongebob in Randomland » and his brief encounter with his Red Mist counterpart are replaying in his mind, troubling him.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : The Thunderbolts. She-Hulk. The X-Men. The Fantastic Four. The Besties. The Midnight Crew. The Justice League. All those teams have something in common. It has always been so.

Cut to the aforementionned persons present in the golf lab of Earth-1754, who are looking at The Pighead and D.E.L.I.L.A.H. herself, both being apparently dead. The former is slumped in her chair, heavily bleeding, her mouth wide open (with her jaw broken and some of her teeth missing) and some of her clothes, as well as her mask, being torn. The latter is dismantled, bits and pieces of her physical body being spreaded throughout the control room. The computers Pighead typically uses are all broken and the room in general is in a very poor state. Meilin Lee and her friends try to look away from the scene, visibly disgusted. There's no precisions on who might have done this.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : And it's the same for a lot of things you can think of. If, one day, you think about something but your brain puts the veracity of said something in doubt, don't listen to it. Because this something is true.

The audio and video cuts to black.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : It has always been so.

The song « Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 3 », from the fanmade remix album « The Death of Pablo », starts playing (in a longer version). Multiple scenes from « Infinity Crisis », « Gamma Relations », « Taking Fight (And Flights) », « Justice Like Lightning », « Generation Gaps », « Chronicles of the Hex », « Another Side of the Glimpses », « The Girl from TORONTO », « Temporal Tete-a-Tete », « History Lesson-51 » & « History Lesson-199999 » are playing in an extremely fast montage.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : Your lives have never been as you remember it because they decided to bury those memories. We just unearthed it and gave it back to you.

Karkat Vantas, Mario & Ruby Koopa are shown in Earth-20152118 (the world of « Pizza Tower »), running away from a giant, alternate version of The Pighead which skin and clothes appear to be made of crust and multiple pizza toppings.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : Then, we gave you more adventures to have. Because it was what you were born to do. What we were born to do.

Sonic the Hedgehog, June Egbert, Monika & Sayori are shown in Earth-31141 (the world of « Canabalt ») running away from an antimatter wave.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : If there's something I've learned since my return among the living, it's that the true purpose we always had in life was to entertain. To entertain them.

Multiple people from various Earths are shown in a rave party, dancing wildly.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : I see what you are thinking. But I want to reassure you : this is not as sad as it might seem. After all, we're not the sort of people who are born to live so-called normal lives.

Multiple scenes are shown in a quick succession : The Pighead, D.E.L.I.L.A.H. and her employees walk on the red carpet, leading to a building where an unspecified event, is held under the applause of everyone. Diamonds Droog, Aradia Megido, Karkat Vantas, Iron Spider, Mario & Ruby Koopa fight hordes of Daleks. Kang the Conqueror & Ravonna make preparations for an event who is, again, not specified. An animated muffin in black and white asks She-Hulk, Deadpool & Lobo if one of them can eat him. The Fazbear animatronics play a concert for a public composed of humans, mutants, Inklings, robots and other lifeforms coming from various Earths.

D.E.L.I.L.A.H. : So, don't panic. Go with the flow. And, most importantly, rise. Rise and shine.

As « Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 3 » explodes in an agonizing, deafening wall of sound, a scene in slow-motion shows every character who made an appearance in every « Infinity Crisis » story, be it a major appearance or a cameo, floating helplessly in space as they see dozens and dozens of alternate variants of The Pighead ominously approaching them and arboring very large and sinister grins.

SURPRISES ARE INFINITE.
