Ash Ketchum slowly opened his eyes, feeling disoriented and oddly compact. He tried to sit up but realized he couldn't feel his arms or legs. Panic began to set in as he looked around, seeing the world through an unfamiliar perspective.
"Wh-where am I? What happened to me?" Ash muttered to himself, his voice sounding strange and echoing slightly.
He attempted to move but found himself sliding instead. He looked down and gasped. His body was now a gelatinous, black mass.
"What?! I'm a slime? How did this happen?" Ash tried to recall the last thing he remembered, but his mind was a jumble of images and sounds. There was a bright light, a sense of weightlessness, and then… nothing.
After what felt like hours of struggling, Ash managed to get a handle on his new form. He could move by contracting and expanding his body, though it was slow and awkward. As he slithered through the forest, he noticed the lush greenery and the unfamiliar wildlife.
"I need to find someone who can tell me what's going on," he thought, trying to remain optimistic despite his bizarre predicament.
Days passed as Ash wandered aimlessly, growing more accustomed to his new body. One day, he stumbled upon a bustling village filled with various creatures. The sight was astonishing: goblins, wolves, and ogres working together in harmony.
"Maybe someone here can help me," Ash thought, cautiously approaching the village.
Before he could get far, two figures rushed toward him, both looking alarmed.
"Rimuru-sama? Is that you?" a tall, purple-haired woman exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise.
Ash looked up at her, confused. "Uh, no. My name is Ash, but I'm not sure who you're talking about."
Another figure, a pink-haired woman with a gentle smile, approached. "Rimuru-sama, is that really you? What happened? Did you stay out in the sun too long?"
Ash blinked, utterly perplexed. "Rimuru? No, I'm Ash Ketchum. I don't know how I got here or why I look like this."
The purple-haired woman, Shion, tilted her head. "Ash Ketchum? Rimuru-sama, are you playing a trick on us?"
The pink-haired woman, Shuna, knelt down to Ash's level. "If you're not Rimuru-sama, then where did you come from?"
Before Ash could respond, a third figure appeared, exuding an aura of authority and kindness. This slime was a vibrant blue and seemed to glow with an inner light.
"What's going on here?" the blue slime asked, looking between Ash, Shion, and Shuna.
Shion bowed slightly. "Rimuru-sama, we found this black slime wandering near the city. At first, we thought it was you, but it seems to be someone named Ash Ketchum."
Rimuru examined Ash with a curious expression. "Ash Ketchum, huh? How did you end up here?"
Ash felt a surge of hope. "I don't know. I just woke up like this and have been trying to find out what's going on."
Rimuru nodded thoughtfully. "I see. It sounds like you've been reincarnated, just like I was. You're in the Jura Tempest Federation now, a place where many different races coexist."
Ash listened intently as Rimuru explained the basics of this new world. The concept of being reincarnated was mind-boggling, but he couldn't deny the evidence.
"So, what do I do now?" Ash asked, feeling a mix of apprehension and excitement.
Rimuru smiled. "First, we'll help you settle in and get used to your new form. After that, you can decide what you want to do. There are many opportunities here, and I'm sure you'll find your place."
Ash felt a wave of gratitude. "Thank you, Rimuru. I don't know what I would have done without your help."
Shion and Shuna both smiled warmly at Ash. "Welcome to Tempest, Ash," Shuna said. "We're glad to have you with us."
