Ash Ketchum, now a black slime, struggled to keep pace with Rimuru and his companions. His gelatinous form wobbled and bounced, and he often found himself lagging behind. The sheer effort of moving was exhausting.

"Don't worry, Ash," Rimuru reassured him. "You'll get used to it. It just takes some practice."

Shuna, noticing Ash's fatigue, scooped him up gently. "Here, let me help you," she said with a warm smile. "You must be tired."

Ash felt a wave of gratitude. "Thank you, Shuna. This is all so new to me."

As they entered the bustling city of Tempest, Ash's eyes widened in amazement. Despite being in a world that felt ancient and magical, the city had a modern, almost futuristic vibe. Buildings were sleek and well-designed, streets were clean, and there was an air of progress and harmony.

"Wow, this place is incredible," Ash marveled, taking in the sights.

Shion, walking proudly beside Rimuru, grinned. "Isn't it? This city is a testament to Rimuru-sama's vision and leadership!"

Rimuru chuckled modestly. "It's not just me. Everyone in Tempest has worked hard to make this city what it is today."

As they continued through the city, a group of figures approached. These were the Onis, powerful warriors who served under Rimuru. At the forefront was Benimaru, a tall and imposing figure with fiery red hair.

Benimaru eyed Ash curiously. "Rimuru-sama, who is this?"

"This is Ash Ketchum," Rimuru explained. "He's a special guest who found his way to Tempest. He poses no threat to us."

Soeui, the stoic and observant Oni, and Hakurou, the wise and experienced swordsman, both scrutinized Ash. There was something about the black slime that caught their attention.

Soeui's eyes narrowed slightly. "There is something unusual about him, but I can't put my finger on it."

Hakurou nodded in agreement. "Indeed. There is a unique aura about him. We should remain vigilant."

As Ash rested in Shuna's arms, more of Rimuru's loyal subjects approached the group. The newcomers included Rigurd, the goblin leader; Gobta, the energetic goblin rider; and Gabiru, the proud and somewhat clueless lizardman.

Rigurd's eyes widened as he spotted Ash. "Rimuru-sama, who is this? Is it related to you?"

Gobta chimed in. "Yeah, Rimuru-sama! Is this black slime some kind of relative of yours?"

Gabiru added his own theory with an air of self-assuredness. "Perhaps it's Rimuru-sama's offspring, but black!"

Rimuru's face turned a deep shade of blue as he stammered, "D-Don't be ridiculous, Gabiru!"

Once Rimuru regained his composure, he addressed the group with a more serious tone. "Everyone, this is Ash Ketchum. He's a special guest who has found his way to Tempest. Like me, he seems to have been reincarnated into this world."

Rigurd, always the diplomat, nodded respectfully. "Welcome, Ash. Any friend of Rimuru-sama is a friend of ours."

Gobta gave a thumbs up. "Yeah! Welcome to Tempest, Ash!"

Gabiru scratched his head. "So, he's not related to you, Rimuru-sama?"

Rimuru shook his head, smiling. "No, Gabiru. Ash is not related to me. But he is someone who needs our help to understand this world and find his place in it."

Soeui and Hakurou, who had been observing Ash closely, exchanged a glance. Soeui finally spoke up, his voice calm and measured. "Rimuru-sama, there is something unique about Ash. His aura is different, almost... otherworldly."

Hakurou nodded in agreement. "Indeed. While he may not be a threat, it would be wise to keep an eye on him until we understand more."

Rimuru acknowledged their concerns with a nod. "I understand. We'll be cautious, but let's give Ash the benefit of the doubt. He deserves a chance to prove himself."

As the group continued their walk through the city, Ash felt a mix of emotions. He was grateful for the warm welcome, but the constant scrutiny made him feel a bit uneasy. Still, he understood their caution and was determined to earn their trust.

Shuna, sensing Ash's thoughts, gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, Ash. Everyone here is just looking out for each other. Once they get to know you, they'll see what a good person you are."

Ash nodded, feeling a bit more at ease. "Thanks, Shuna. I appreciate it."

Rimuru led the group to a spacious hall where they could sit and talk comfortably. As they settled in, Rimuru addressed Ash with a kind smile. "Now, let's talk about how we can help you adjust to your new life here in Tempest."

Ash felt a surge of gratitude and determination. "I'm ready to learn. Whatever it takes, I'll do my best."

Before Rimuru could continue explaining Ash's presence, the doors to the hall burst open with a loud bang. Everyone's eyes turned to see Milim Nava, Rimuru's exuberant and powerful friend, striding in with a mischievous grin on her face.

"Mwahahaha! Rimuru, let's play!" Milim announced, her voice echoing through the hall.

Her gaze quickly fell upon Ash, and her eyes lit up with curiosity. "Oh, who's that?" Without waiting for an answer, she rushed over to Shuna and snatched Ash from her arms. Milim cuddled Ash tightly, rubbing her cheek against his squishy black slime form. "And why is it black and so squishy, Rimuru?" she asked, her voice filled with childlike wonder.

Ash, overwhelmed by the sudden affection, wheezed, "Ah, help..."

Shuna, noticing Ash's discomfort, tried to intervene. "Milim, please, you need to be careful with Ash."

However, Milim ignored Shuna's plea and continued nuzzling her cheek against Ash. Rimuru, sensing Ash's distress, decided to intervene. "A-hem!" Rimuru pretended to cough, drawing Milim's attention. "Milim, please let go of Ash, or else no more honey for a week," they warned with a serious tone.

Milim's eyes widened, and she pouted cutely. "Awww..." she whined but eventually released Ash, who was relieved to be free from her tight embrace.

Shuna quickly picked Ash back up into her arms and apologized for Milim's behavior. "Sorry about Milim, Ash."

Ash chuckled weakly, trying to catch his breath. "I thought I was going to die," he joked.

Milim leaned closer to Ash, her curiosity undiminished. "So, who is this squishy black slime, Rimuru?"

Rimuru smiled and introduced Ash properly. "Milim, this is Ash Ketchum. He's a special guest who has found his way to Tempest. Like me, he seems to have been reincarnated into our world."

Milim's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Reincarnated, huh? That's so cool! Welcome to Tempest, Ash!" She gave a thumbs up and a wide grin.

Ash, feeling a bit more at ease, nodded. "Thanks, Milim. It's nice to meet you."

As the group settled back into their seats, Milim's energy seemed to fill the room with a lively atmosphere. Despite her overwhelming enthusiasm, Ash couldn't help but feel a warmth from her genuine friendliness.

Rimuru continued, "Now that we've all been properly introduced, let's discuss how we can help Ash adjust to his new life here."

Milim leaned in, still buzzing with excitement. "I'll help too! We can train together and have lots of fun!"

Shuna smiled gently at Ash. "See? Everyone here is willing to help. You'll be just fine."

Ash felt a surge of gratitude. "Thank you, everyone. I really appreciate it."
