Courageous Confession of the Knight's Truth

Jaune is glaring at his opponent, Cardin, for today's combat training class as he holds up his shield in front and his sword tightly in his grip waiting for Cardin to make a move. And he did as he charges with a mighty swing of his mace down and Jaune quickly move aside to his left where Cardin is open and swing his sword at the side then a couple more times on the back before jumping back to avoid Cardin's counter. Cardin growls and charge again at Jaune slamming his mace on the shield as it holds up until he swing it to the side knocking the shield away, Jaune clash his sword to make the mace smash the ground right to him and perform an upper slash that made Cardin stumble backward a few feet.

Jaune didn't want to let Cardin recover and charge at him slashing at the chest plate of his armor until the latter blocks it with the handle of his mace and start pushing Jaune back a little as they glare at each other.

"This is the part where you lose." Cardin smirked.

"Try me." Jaune pulled his head backward and slammed a headbutt on Cardin then was about to swing his sword at him.

But Cardin react a little quicker swinging his mace on Jaune's feet making him trip and slams on the chest, though it didn't hurt the blonde knight much thanks to his aura, and Cardin was about to strike down at him again.

"Cardin, that's enough!" Glynda called out that made Cardin stop.

"Students, as you can see, Mr. Arc's Aura has now dropped into the red. In a tournament-styled duel, this would indicate that Jaune is no longer fit for battle, and that the official may call the match." Glynda explained with a hologram screen of Jaune and Cardin's aura level with Jaune's red and Cardin's yellow.

"I must say Mr. Arc, weeks have passed as you haven't won a single match, yet your combat skills are definitely improving and making quick plans in battle like turning Cardin's strength against him and got his aura level halfway down to the yellow zone. Well done." Glynda complimented.

That made Jaune smiles as he looks to Pyrrha as she smiles too, Rex also clap his hand for Jaune doing a good job fighting better against Cardin this time.

"Whatever, not like he can actually beat me." Cardin muttered.

"Remember, everyone, the Vytal Festival is only a few months away! It won't be long before students from the other kingdoms start arriving in Vale, so keep practicing! Those who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale!" Glynda informed making the students exciting.

(Lunchtime)

Team JNPR, RWBY, and RPMN are sitting together on a table while Nora is telling them one of the adventures stories, she and Ren went through even though most of them were in her dreams and he had to keep correcting her.

"I'm impress Jaune, you're getting better with your fighting skills." Pyrrha said.

"Thanks, though I still haven't won any matches." Jaune sighed hoping to have at least made Cardin's aura go to the red zone.

"Hey, don't beat yourself up for that. You're lasting longer than the other times against Cardin." Rex pointed out.

"Which I'm sure he's not taking it well consider all the bullying he have you." Pyra mentioned.

"Oh, come on, I'm sure those times weren't that hurtful." Jaune chuckled, trying to pretend they didn't matter.

"Are you blind or something, that muscle brain has been picking on you since the first week of school just because you were the weakling, he thought you were." Nia stated.

"She's not wrong, there was even that time he pushed you in your locker and launched you away." Blake added.

"I didn't fly that far from the school." Jaune remembered.

"Jaune, you know if you ever need help, you can just ask." Pyrrha reminded her leader/partner.

"That's what I keep telling him." Rex said.

"Oooh, we'll break his legs!" Nora suggested.

"I'll hold him down." Mythra volunteered.

"Easy guys, we can't let him get to us by bullying him back. I'm sure he will get his justice soon." Jaune hoped.

"Ow! That hurts!" A girl cried out.

Everyone turns around seeing Cardin picking on a girl by pulling on her long ears.

This girl has long, brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a pair of brown rabbit ears. She is the Beacon Academy uniform, which consists of a maroon blazer with golden brown lining and twin buttons over a brown button-up vest and white blouse with pleated looking neckline and a red ribbon tied around her black-lined collar. She also wears the traditional red checked with black stripes with golden brown outlining alongside white tulle. She also wears a pair of black tights accompanied by a pair of brown lace-up wedged sole boots. Breasts sizes: F-cup.

"Please, stop…" The girl begged.

"I told you they were real." Cardin laughed.

"What a freak." Russel laughed with the rest of his team.

"Hey, I know that girl. That's Velvet Scarlatina, a second-year student here." Nia recognized.

"Guess the idiot doesn't care about respecting his seniors if they're Faunus." Mythra death-glared at him.

"Atrocious. I can't stand people like him." Pyrrha angered.

"Yeah, me too. How about you Rex? Rex?" Jaune noticed that Rex isn't with the group anymore.

"He's over there." Ren pointed at Rex walking toward the scene with a cup of soda in his hand.

"Excuses me, I believe you should let her go." Rex said.

"Oh look, a freak lover. Want me to pull your ears too?" Cardin smirked sinisterly.

"I don't think you'll have time for that when you're cleaning your hair from the soda slip." Rex smirked back.

"What soda slip?" Sky asked.

Rex just splash the soda right onto Cardin's head making his hair wet and forcing his hand to let go from Velvet's rabbit ear.

"You little shit! Do you want to be dead meat?" Cardin asked angry standing up.

"I don't know, would you like to know what's that taste like?" Dahlia asked walking up to them.

"Oh great, it's the bunny dorm manager." Dove worried.

"Don't even think about making any excuses, Cardin, I saw what you were doing to this girl and the other Faunus in this school and I think it's high time you learn two things like respect of others and humility." Dahlia stated.

"Oh yeah, like what, detention?" Cardin asked laughing a little.

"That and something about showing how weak you are compare to others like this." Dahlia moved her leg faster than Cardin would see slamming his head onto the floor making small cracks and his aura is depleted.

The rest of Cardin's team gasp with their jaws drop and their eyes widen when they see their leader got defeated so easily by the dorm manager who is also a very strong Faunus, there was that one time when Dove tried to warn Cardin not to mess with her but he didn't listen and now he's paying the price for it.

"Damn, your aunty got leg powers through the roof." Nora impressed.

"Of course, I would expect nothing less from my aunt who can't stand disrespectful men." Weiss said proudly.

"Looks like you were right about Cardin getting his justice soon." Ruby said to Jaune.

"Not exactly what I had in mind, but that works too." Jaune nodded.

"Would you boys mind getting your leader to the infirmary office, make sure he's awake for his detention punishment." Dahlia ordered.

"Yes, Ma'am!" The boys answered quickly, pick up their leader, and ran right out of the cafeteria.

"Thanks for that, I wasn't sure if I was gonna fight back or not." Rex thanked.

"You have a good heart kid, there's no wrong in wanting to stand up for others but you have to be careful of how you make your approach." Dahlia advised.

"Got it." Rex nodded and felt a tap on the shoulder seeing Velvet.

"Th-Thank you for saving me, I was worried things could have gotten worse." Velvet thanked nervously.

"No problem. "Make a girl cry, that's not gonna fly. Make a girl smile, you pass the trail." That's the third rule of the Salvager Code." Rex mentioned proudly.

"Oh, I heard rumors about you being a Salvager and it looks like that's true." Velvet giggled.

"Well, I better get going. It was nice meeting you." Velvet walked away with her lunch.

"I'll be reporting this to Glynda about Cardin's action, and don't worry I won't mention you splashing soda on his hair." Dahlia assured that Rex won't get in trouble.

"Thanks." Rex smiled before making his way to his friends.

"You just couldn't help yourself, could you?" Nia asked.

"That just how I am; when I see someone in trouble, I go and help them in anyway I can." Rex scratched the back of his hair.

"You were lucky my aunt came here, otherwise things might've gotten messy." Weiss stated.

"Oh please, Rex would knocked that guy off his feet if a fight were to break out." Mythra bragged.

"Then he would have been in trouble too." Pyra pointed out.

"The important thing is everything turned out okay, let just focus on today." Rex said.

After launch, they went through Doctor Oobleck's history class talking about the battle at Fort Castle and warning his students about if they don't learn from their history then they are doom to repeat it.

When class ended, Rex walks up to Jaune they were leaving the classroom.

"Hey Jaune, mind if we talk for a bit, just you and me?" Rex asked.

"Yeah, sure." Jaune nodded, telling his team to go on ahead as he'll catch up.

Rex and Jaune make their way to a corner and turn making sure there are no one around to listen in to their private conversation.

"So, what is it you want to talk about?" Jaune asked curious.

"I think it's about time you told Pyrrha about yourself." Rex answered.

"What do you mean?" Jaune confused.

"I mean about the truth, tell her about yourself and why you're here." Rex said giving the Arc Knight the idea.

"What?! Rex, are you crazy! I thought we agreed to keep that a secret!" Jaune panicked.

"Come on, Jaune, I know you're worried about the others if they were to treat your badly if they found out about that. But let me remind you why you told me this secret, it's because you trust me as a good friend to know about it and I kept it quiet for you which is why you got do the same with Pyrrha." Rex stated.

"I… I don't know, will she really accept me if I tell her?" Jaune asked worry.

"You won't know if you try, I can tell you trust Pyrrha with your life even before you even knew she's a big celebrity." Rex pointed out.

"You do make a good point there." Jaune said.

Thinking about this long and hard, Jaune is starting to see Rex is right about telling Pyrrha about his secret as he gotten to know about her through these past weeks, maybe he can trust her with this secret and perhaps his teammates too.

"Okay Rex, I'll tell her tonight at the rooftop of the dormitory." Jaune said.

"Great, I know things will go well for you." Rex smiled before walking away.

"(I hope I know what I'm doing.)" Jaune thought sighed.

(Later, Dormitory Rooftop)

"So Jaune, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?" Pyrrha asked.

"Well, it just something about myself I've been keeping quiet and I thought you should have the right to know consider you're my partner and all." Jaune said feeling nervous about this.

"Sounds like it's important." Pyrrha noticed how close Jaune is to the edge of the rooftop.

"NOOOO?!" Pyrrha quickly pulled Jaune away from the edge.

"Pyrrha, what are you doing?" Jaune asked shock and his face is press against her breasts.

"I will not let you give up your life like this!" Pyrrha cried.

"What are you talking about? I just wanted to tell you a secret I've been keeping from you!" Jaune mumbled.

Pyrrha's eyes widen realizing that she may have jump the gun on that.

"Oh, so you weren't going to jump?" Pyrrha asked finally letting Jaune go so he can breathe and blushes upon realizing that she had him on her breasts too.

"No, of course not. I'm not that desperate or a coward, at least not right now." Jaune said.

"(Oh, fucking Remnant, I felt a girl's boobs on my face!)" Jaune mentally gasped as he quickly calms himself down.

"Pyrrha, you know notices that from the start about how I fight was pathetic and lower than the average beginners." Jaune mentioned.

"Well, I could tell you were lacking in formal skills, but you've been getting better." Pyrrha stated.

"But there is a reason why my skills were pathetic, the reason why I came to Beacon unprepared." Jaune said.

"What do you mean unprepared?" Pyrrha asked.

"You see…" Jaune took a deep breathe knowing this is the moment he must do and there is no backing down from it now.

"I didn't go to any combat school, I didn't pass any test, and I didn't exactly earned my way here. I lied. I got my hands on some fake transcripts, and I lied!" Jaune revealed the truth shocking Pyrrha.

"What? But... why?" Pyrrha asked.

"Cause this is always what I've wanted to be! My father, my grandfather, and his father before him were all warriors! They were all heroes! I wanted to be one, too. I was just never good enough." Jaune explained, feeling hurt from the memories of how his parents refused to train him to be a Huntsman.

"No one trained you, or even unlock your aura like I did back at the initiation?" Pyrrha started to see why Jaune did what he had to do, but she wanted to hear him say them.

"Nope. My parents didn't believe I could all because I couldn't do some basic drills on just two days of training and gave up, my sisters tried to cheer me up and said I should look for another career but I didn't." Jaune looked up at the night sky.

"I came here to prove to anyone who doubted me that I can become a Huntsman and protect people like any Huntsman would, like any hero would. I just wanted to carry on my family legacy." Jaune sighed then felt her hand on his shoulder.

"I believe you already a hero in my eyes." Pyrrha said with a soft smile.

"Really?" Jaune asked.

"Yes, you confessing your secrets to me is one of the bravest thing a person can do to make themselves feel good. Not anyone can do that, and I know you can be a great Huntsman because I'm going to be by your side to help you every step of the way." Pyrrha said holding both his hands in hers.

"After all, even heroes need help from others from time to time." Pyrrha smiled that made Jaune's heart skip a beat.

"Th-Thank you, Pyrra. Wow, Rex was right about you." Jaune said.

"Rex?" Pyrrha confused.

"Well, you see, I actually told my secret to Rex and promised to keep it a secret. In fact, me confessing this to you was his idea knowing you are a trustful person I can count on." Jaune explained.

"Indeed, I am. And was he also the one he's been helping you with your combat training?" Pyrrha asked curiously.

"Not exactly, just some words of advices. That's all." Jaune answered.

"I see, then you wouldn't mind if I help you with that." Pyrrha offered her hand to him.

"Yeah, I would like that." Jaune nodded, taking the hand.

(With Rex)

"(I wonder if Jaune has told Pyrrha yet?)" Rex thought wondered.

"Hey Rex, something on your mind?" Pyra asked.

"No, nothing important. Do you need something?" Rex asked.

"Y-Yeah, I was wondering if you would like to work on a combo move, I've been thinking?" Pyra asked a little nervous with her cheeks blushing a bit.

"Sure, I have a few ideas myself." Rex nodded.

"Really, that's great!" Pyra smiled exciting and grab Rex's arm between her breasts making him blush.

She soon realizes this and quickly pull herself away turning around.

"O-Okay, we'll train tomorrow." Pyra suggested the time.

"S-sure, tomorrow is good." Rex stuttered.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

Hope you like how I made Jaune a little better against Cardin in combat class even though he lose and how I got Cardin defeated by Dahlia showing him not to treat others badly with her around, but he'll be back for a little payback. Jaune has decided, with some encouragement from Rex, to tell Pyrrha about his fake transcript and she will help him get better as they get closer to each other than they think. The same may go for Rex with one of his teammates.
