Facing the White Past within the Black Night
Team RWY and RPM are walking through the streets of Vale with the Dorm Manager Dahlia who heard what happened from Rex and decided to tag along to help since it is her responsibility to watch over the students in the dorm.
"I really hoped nothing bad happen during the semester, but I guess some things are unavoidable." Dahlia said.
"Like Weiss being a bitch." Mytrha glared at Weiss.
"Mytrha!" Pyra exclaimed.
"No, she's right. I should have not step out of line like that and letting out my anger like that." Weiss said realizing her mistake.
"Life is never easy for anyone no matter even if they live in the rich life, especially with how the White Fang have made that kind of life on Weiss and our family." Dahlia stated.
"Did you ever saw how bad the White Fang has done?" Rex asked.
"Unfortunately, I have and the way they do things is not pretty which is why I became Huntress hoping the stop the White Fang from hurting anyone though I barely put a dent in their large group." Dahlia explained.
"Which also explains that Nia is closer to Blake than I realize. I thought it was like same father but different mother." Rex admitted for being a bit clueless.
"That would have been something." Yang commented.
"If it something that has been bothering Blake then she should know that we are there for her." Ruby stated.
"And she will after find her and me apologizing." Weiss said.
"Hopefully, they haven't gone too far from the city." Pyra worried.
"Relax, I'm sure Blake and Nia are still in city having down time to get their acts together." Mythra believed.
(With Blake, Nia, and Sun)
Ever since Blake and Nia left Beacon, they left for the city to help clear the black cat-Faunus's mind from what happened at the dorm, and they have Sun with them to keep them company in case they decided to go back soon. Although Blake hasn't been talking much for the past two days though Nia did fill him on what's been eating her up on the inside though a little.
"So, you now know most of what's been going on with me?" Blake asked.
"Finally, she speaks! Nearly two days and you've given me nothing but small talk and weird looks!" Sun played a little earning a little glare from Blake.
"Yeah, like that." Sun said.
"Blake, you ready to head back now?" Nia asked.
"Sorry, Nia, but I'm not sure if I can with the White Fang still out there and all." Blake sighed.
"Nia's been telling me that your dad started the White Fang to make peace with humans, sounds pretty cool and totally opposite of what I've been hearing about those freaks today." Sun commented.
"And I was a fool for not seeing how the violence were turning the White Fang into ever since father stepped down, which is also the reason why I never want to use my skills for that while hiding my identity though Nia didn't seem to get the picture." Blake looked at her twin sister.
"Because father always told us that hiding for who we are will keep our hearts in the dark that prevent us from reaching of the things we could do." Nia reminded the saying their dad would say.
"Wise words, so you gonna tell your friends about this?" Sun asked.
(Back with the Beacon Group)
The search for Blake and Nia still hasn't gone well as they couldn't find any sign of their friends.
"Man, it's like trying to find a needle under a pile of snow." Dahlia commented.
"I'm sure we'll find them; they can't stay hidden forever." Weiss hoped she's right.
"And I think Weiss' hair looks wonderful today!" Penny complimented suddenly appearing behind them and spooking them a bit.
"Aaaah! Penny! Where did you come from!?" Ruby gasped.
"Hey guys! Miss Dorm Manager! What are you up to?" Penny greeted and asked.
"We're looking for our friends, Blake and Nia." Pyra answered.
"Oh, you mean the two Faunus girls." Penny remembered.
"Wait, how'd you know that one of them is a Faunus?" Weiss asked referring to Blake.
"Because of the cat ears behind the bow." Penny answered pointing at her head.
This shock everyone as they did not even consider that her cat ears would be behind the black bow she would always wear.
"You kids seriously didn't notice that?" Dahlia asked raising an eyebrow.
"So, where are they?" Penny asked.
"We don't know, they've been gone since Friday." Ruby said.
"That's why we're out searching for them hoping they're okay." Rex added.
"That's terrible!" Penny gasped leaning closer to Ruby's face.
"Well, don't you worry Ruby, my friend! I won't rest until we find your teammate!" Penny decided cheerfully to help.
"Oh, well, that's very kind of you!" Rex smiled.
"Hold on, I'm pretty sure we got this handle, right guys?" Ruby asked, only to find the others have already left except for Dahlia.
"They've gone on ahead to find the two, we should get going." Dahlia said walking ahead.
"Indeed, we shall!" Penny saluted causing Ruby to hang her head in defeat.
(With Blake, Nia, and Sun)
The three are seen walking together trying to decide on what to do next.
"So, what's the plan now?" Sun asked.
"Well, I can already tell that Blake wants to after the White Fang because of the Dusts robberies." Nia said.
"Of course, the White Fang never needed that much Dusts before." Blake stated.
"What if they did? I mean... the only way to prove that they didn't do it, is to go to the place where they would most likely go to if they were to do it, and not find them there! Right?" Sun tried to say what he is suggestion.
"In other words, we're going for a stakeout to see the robbery ourselves." Nia translated.
"Yes! Man, you pick that up faster than another cat-Faunus I know and nothing bad is happening right now." Sun said.
"What do you mean?" Blake asked.
"Well, this girl is very cheerfully most of the time, but the thing is bad things always happens around her like she's a living back lucky charm." Sun explained.
"She can't be that bad." Nia said.
"Trying that to a bird dropping a feather on a construction sight causing half of the place to be destroy and the works covered in quickly dry cement." Sun mentioned shocking the two Belladonna sisters.
"Okay… Let's back to finding out where the next place will have the big Dust supplies." Nia changed the subject.
"Well, while I was on the ship, I heard some guys talking about offloading a huge shipment of Dust coming in from Atlas." Sun mentioned.
"That could be the from Weiss's family company." Nia said.
"Yep, bit Schnee Dusts cargo." Sun nodded.
"Then we better get going." Blake determined to find out the truth for herself.
(With Rex and Dahlia)
"Alright, thanks anyway." Rex said to a guy before walking back to Dahlia.
"Nothing on your end?" Dahlia asked and Rex just shook his head.
"I'm really, there's this bad feeling that Nia may gotten herself into bigger trouble." Rex worried.
"Nia, don't you mean her and Blake?" Dahlia asked in a teasing voice.
"Oh, yeah, of course, I was talking about Blake too." Rex chuckled nervously and blushing a bit which Dahlia finds that cute.
"So, have the White Fang always been this hating toward humans?" Rex asked.
"Not always, there were times when they were peaceful protestors trying to make peace with humans until five years ago the kind leader stepped down and this one new turn the White to what they are now." Dahlia explained.
"Guess this leader didn't think nice talks would do them any good." Rex concerned.
"Yep, and it looks like they might be up to something big if they're behind the Dust robberies." Dahlia said growing a little worry.
"Well, let's hope we find the girls before things get-AH! Rat!" Rex jumped from the sudden appearance of a rat walked very close past his foot.
"Ah! R-Rex!" Dahlia moaned.
"Sorry, I just have a bad history with rats and…" Rex paused his sentence when he found his hand grabbing onto Dahlia's breast unconsciously squeezing it making her moan a bit.
"I'm sorry! I never meant for that to happen!" Rex apologized gasping.
"Don't worry, accidents happen." Dahlia said with a teasing smile and lean closer to Rex's face.
"But I wouldn't mind having that kind of contact with you again." Dahlia whispered and winked before walking away, leaving Rex blushing like crazy.
(Nighttime)
The sky has become dark as Blake and Nia are seen staking out on top of a building in the warehouse area seeing the Schnee cargo finished being loaded off, then Sun enters the scene holding some fruits in his hands.
"Did I miss anything?" Sun asked.
"Not really. They've offloaded the crates from the boat. Now they're just sitting there." Blake answered.
"Please tell me you paid for those?" Nia asked about the fruits.
"Not exactly." Sun chuckled.
Nia groans wondering how did this kid ended up in a Hunter Academy in the first place until a Bullhead landed and came out are a group of people wearing white armor and a familiar red symbol on their backs.
"No…" Blake gasped, couldn't believe what she is seeing.
"Is that them?" Sun asked.
"Yep, the White Fang." Nia answered glaring at them and turn to her twin sister.
"Sorry you had to find out this way." Nia said.
"No. I think deep down I knew. I just didn't want to be right." Blake said sadden.
"Hey, what's the hold up?" A man asked walking out.
The three sneaky Faunus are shocked to see that this one is a human and this is looks dangerously familiar.
"I think that's Roman Torchwick, I heard about him from the news." Nia mentioned.
Roman has slanted, dark-green eyes and bright, long, orange hair, with long bangs covering his right eye. Black eyeliner traces his visible left eye. He wears a red-lined white suit with long black pants and black shoes. His accessories included a small gray scarf, black gloves with buckled sleeves, and a black bowler hat with a small feather tucked into its red band.
"We're not exactly the most inconspicuous bunch of thieves at the moment, so why don't you animals try to pick up the pace?" Roman demanded.
"Something isn't right with this picture." Nia said.
"You're right, The White Fang would never work with a Human. Especially not one like that." Blake unsheathed her weapon and jumps off the roof despite Nia and Sun trying to stop her.
Roman was too busy trying to tell one White Fang soldier what to do, Blake appears behind and grabs him with her blade to the neck causing the other White Fangs to aim their guns at her.
"Nobody move!" Blake said.
"Whoa! Take it easy there, little lady." Roman tried to tell her to get off but didn't work as Blake took off her bow showing her cat ears.
"Brothers of the White Fang! Why are you aiding this scum?" Blake asked, but none answer her.
"Oh, kid, didn't you get the memo?" Roman laughed.
"What are you talking about?" Blake demanded.
"The White Fang and I are going in on a joint business venture together!" Roman revealed.
"Tell me what it is or I'll put an end to your little operation." Blake threatened pulling her blade on Roman's neck a little more, then strong wind picks up with an engine sound.
"I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation..." Roman looked up.
Blake looks up too and became horrified of seeing two more Bullheads flying above them which Roman use this distraction to blast her off from his cane at the ground.
Blake is unharmed for the most part getting back up just in time to see Roman blasting fire missiles at her and flips out of the way to dodge them, then a familiar ring-blade strike at the arm making Roman stop shooting and turn to see Nia running towards him catching her ring-blade, Dromarch and attacks him as he surprisingly blocks most of her attacks.
Roman move his cane into the ring-blade to throw Nia over himself and away from him too.
"Two little kittens won't get the jump on me." Roman smirked, only for a banana peel landed on his face and Sun knocks him down landing on his face.
"Then how about a monkey joins the party?" Sun readied to fight.
Several White Fang soldiers surrounds Sun pointing their weapons at him.
"You are not the brightest banana in the bunch, are you, kid?" Roman asked sarcastically.
Two White Fang soldiers charge at Sun with their weapons as he rolls out of the way and knock down one with a backhand strike, swipe two coming at him and uppercut one trying to cut him with a sword. Sun pulls out his folded weapon into a staff knocking down the soldiers left and right, back-to-back as well as he swings his staff fast and hard then slams down on the ground to knock more down with a shockwave.
"Roman!" Blake shouted as she and Nia charged at the criminal.
Blake and Nia performed some combo moves they would always practice even when on separate teams, they push Roman back little by little and landed some hits on the thief and Nia jumps high to land a double slash but got blast by some kind of light arrow.
"Nia!" Blake worried for her twin sister but got push down by Roman.
"Akhos, I thought you were going to stay in the ship?" Roman turned to his right.
"It just seems there are some pests getting in the way of our work and more so than I expected, so I'm entering the stage to lend a hand." Akhos answered walking into the scene.
Akhos is a young man with fair skin, black hair and blue eyes. He wears red glasses and blue samurai-inspired armor.
"Well, that will at least make my job a little easier now." Roman shrugged.
"Not for long!" Rex shouted as he and Dahlia runs in, and she jumps for a backflip to kick a snowball that she created at Akhos who shot it with his arrow.
"More unwelcomed guests as enter the stage." Akhos annoyed.
"You're not getting away with this!" Rex stated.
"Yeah, glad you could make it, Rex!" Sun jumped happy to see Rex.
"We came here as soon as I got your text." Rex mentioned.
"Damn it, this is getting so annoying!" Roman angered.
"Agree, go take whatever we have right now and get into the Bullheads. I'll hold them off!" Akhos charged in and created another blue light arrow when he put his four fingers together.
He fires at Rex though Dahlia quickly got in front of the boy as she took of her clothes to reveal her combat clothing to be ice-glazed mini dress and threw a high-kick forming a snowy wall that block the arrow.
"A snow Semblance, so you must the Schnee family's Attack Rabbit, Dahlia Schnee." Akhos figured out.
"Nice to meet a fan before they get the cold shoulder." Dahlia winked.
"Your snow does match your beauty, such a shame I'll have to ruin it with blood." Akhos fired three more arrows at Dahlia.
Dahlia reacted fast and brought out her weapon, the Snow Blitz, a white metal ball with ring-blades making it look like a snowflake. She swings her right leg fast to have the Snow Blitz knock the arrows away, she looks up seeing Akhos coming with his bow now separated into two blades trying to slash at her, but Rex protected her with his Forcefield Semblance.
"Thanks a lot, sugar." Dahlia thanked.
"Well, this could be troubling." Akhos looked around and surprise to see a girl with orange hair and a pink bow has just taken down two Bullhead by herself and pulled down a third one.
"Damn it, no choice but to retreat." Akhos cursed as he quickly jumps the Bullhead Roman is on.
"These kids just keep getting weirder." Roman commented.
"Everyone okay?" Rex asked concern.
"All good." Nia answered as Blake nods and Sun gave him a thumb up.
Rex smile seeing that his friends are okay, but he looks up at the sky thinking about those bad men that escaped getting the feeling this won't be the last he and others will see them.
