TwinstarDragon: interesting idea. She might, but it would be EXTREMELY limited, if she got a poison version of maker magic.

"Is this tiny old man really the guild master?!" the blonde asked in shock. "Of course he is, this is the guild master of fairy tail, mavarov," mira said, introducing the guild master.

Now

Makarov turned from mira and lucy and jumped to the railing of the second floor, but he hit his head as he landed. Groaning in pain, he got onto his feet on the railing. "Listen up," makarov said. "You bunch of clods have done it, again. Just look at the pile of paperwork the magic council sent me THIS time," he said as he held up a rather large pile of paperwork. "This is the biggest pile of complaints, yet," makarov declared.

"Elfman, you beat up your client," makarov said. "He said that real men were about education," the tall white haired man, elfman, said. "Cana, you ordered fifteen barrels of alcohol, and sent the bill to the magic council," makarov said. "Crap, they found out," cana, the brunette, grumbled. "Grey, you were in your underwear as you fought the bandits, lost your boxers and stole someone else's boxers as they were drying," makarov yelled at him. "Wouldn't it have been worse if i was completely naked?" grey asked. "Then don't get naked," elfman said.

"Natsu, you destroyed the client's house, in addition to the target," natsu winced. "Oddly enough, cobra is one of the few members in the guild that gets NO complaints," makarov declared proudly. "The rest of you are only good at getting the magic council mad at me," makarov said, as he trembled in anger.

Most of the guild members looked disappointed in themselves. "However," makarov continued. The pile of paperwork suddenly caught fire. "I say to heck with the magic council," makarov then threw the burning papers aside. Natsu leaped at the fire and proceeded to eat it.

"Listen well, my children. Magic that comes from reason is born from reason, right? Magic is not some sort of a miraculous power, it should come pouring out of your soul. Don't let those blowhards on the council hinder you, follow the path you believe in, because THAT'S what makes the fairy tail guild NUMBER ONE!" makarov passionately declared, as he held up a single finger in the air, with ALL of the registered guild members to do the same as him, with cheers of their own.

A bit later

Natsu and cobra were at the job board. "look natsu, mirajaine just put the fairy tail mark on my hand," the new girl, lucy, excitedly said as she showed her mark. "Ok, cool, welcome to guild, loopy," natsu said distractedly. "IT'S LUCY!" lucy yelled at natsu. Cobra then selected a job, and took it to makarov. "I'll take this one, master," cobra said. "Done, child," makarov said. A few seconds after cobra received the flier back, romeo, the son of another guild member, came up to makarov.

"When's my dad gonna be back?" romeo asked. "He should be back soon," makarov said. "But, sir, he said that he'd be back in three days, but he's been gone for over a week, now" romeo complained in worry.

"If i remember right, he took the job at mt. hakabe," makarov said. "Besides, romeo, your old man's a wizard of this guild, so he can take care of himself. Now just relax, have some sweets, and wait for him to return," makarov said. He didn't show it, but makarov was getting worried that macao hasn't come back, yet.

Tears appeared in romeo's eyes, before he yelled "JERK!" as he punched makarov in the nose. "I HATE YOU ALL!" romeo yelled as he ran out of the guild. Having heard enough, natsu smashed the job that he was going to take back into the board, and walked towards the entrance of the guild. "You almost broke the damn board, natsu," a guild member complained. "I'm coming, natsu," cobra said after he drained his coffee in one gulp. He then knelt to his daughter.

"Melani, i'm off to work, and save a friend. Be a good girl for mira, ok?" he said. "Ok, daddy," melani said, some small tears in her eyes. She was scared that her new daddy wouldn't come back. "Come on, yuki," cobra said. "Right behind you, cobra," yuki said, before she got onto cobra's shoulders.

"When is that kid gonna grow up?" one guy asked. Cobra froze, and turned to face the guy. "Why don't you lose the only family you've ever had, THEN you might be able to understand what we went through," cobra snarled at them, before he turned to follow natsu and happy.

"What's going on, mira?" lucy asked. "the master may seem like he doesn't care, but he IS worried," mira answered. "what about natsu and cobra? Why did they react like that?" lucy asked. "Well, natsu was found wandering the forests as a little boy, all alone. Cobra practically grew up in the closest thing to hell in this world: living as a slave as a child, constant pain, having few friends. recently, one of his only friends, his longest friend, left after she returned to her actual human form. When she left, cobra's heart broke, and he broke down," mira said in a sad tone.

"Shortly after cobra was separated from his friends as a child, he found someone that would eventually become his mother, while natsu was found by one who would become his father. In fact, natsu's father, and cobra's mother were both dragons," mira explained.

"They were really raised by DRAGONS?!" lucy asked in disbelief. "Igneel, natsu's father, taught natsu how to harness his magic, language and culture. Cobra's mother taught him control, as his magic WILL kill if it's not controlled, and she taught him how to love and BE loved. From what he mentioned, cobra's life was anything but pleasant: birth parents killed by a terrorist when he was two, sent to live with his relatives that had NO love for him, being an outcast in his school. In fact, where erza was, is where he met his only friends," mira said.

"Anyway, back to natsu's and cobra's parents. They taught natsu and cobra everything that they knew until, one day, they both just vanished without a trace. To this day, years later, natsu and cobra are still searching for their parents," mira finished.

Carriage to mt. hakabe

Natsu was laying on the bench, trying not to puke his guts out. Cobra was fairing a good deal better, but he was still affected. "How much longer until we get there?" cobra groaned. "We should be nearly there, cobra," yuki mentioned. "Hope it's soon," cobra groaned.

"Oh, man, just looking at you makes me feel sorry for you," lucy said, while looking at natsu. Natsu's attention was on her. "What's THAT supposed to mean?" natsu groaned. Before anyone could speak, the carriage stopped moving. "We there?" cobra asked.

"ALRIGHT, WE STOPPED MOVING!" natsu and happy did small dances, with natsu breathing out a small amount of fire in excitement. Cobra grabbed natsu and threw him outside. "Quit goofing off, natsu. Macao could be in real trouble," cobra said as he stepped out of the carriage.

"Urgh, right," natsu said as he picked himself up out of the snow. "Where are we?" lucy asked. "Mt. hakabe, where macao's job took him," cobra said. "Brr, it's freezing," lucy said, as she was getting cold and was rubbing her hands on her arms in an effort to get warm.

"Why are you two not freezing?!" lucy demanded to know. "Natsu's a fire dragon slayer, so ice, snow and fire don't really affect him," cobra explained. "As for me, i just don't get cold. Don't know why," cobra said with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Since you're not using it, gimme that blanket," lucy demanded natsu. However, just before lucy could get the blanket, a large black and white ape landed between the three of them. "That's a big vulcan," happy said in shock.

The vulcan sniffed a bit, turned to lucy and grabbed her shoulders. "Me like human woman," the vulcan said. "So it has at least basic intelligence," cobra stated. "DON'T JUST STAND THERE, HURRY UP AND SAVE ME!" Lucy yelled in fury.

Ice cave, near the summit of mt. hakabe

Lucy was sitting in the middle of the ice cave in a fetal position, while the white vulcan was dancing around her. "What's with this pervy bastard of a monkey?!" lucy asked while crying rivers of tears. "Woman~" the vulcan said lustfully after it got into her face. Lucy screamed in fear at it.

"YOU BASTARD!" natsu yelled as he charged forward, while Cobra walked forward at a more sedate pace. Just then, natsu slipped, landed onto his back, and slid forward as he spun in circles. "*sigh*, natsu, you're an embarrassment," cobra groaned as he palmed his face.

Just then, cobra noticed a familiar scent coming off the vulcan. After sniffing for a bit, he remembered the source of the scent: macao. As natsu was attempting to interrogate the vulcan (unsuccessfully, i feel like i should add) cobra attacked the vulcan, sending it flying into the wall of the cave.

"Cobra, what are you doing?! I was trying to figure out where it has macao!" natsu yelled. "You're an embarrassment to the dragon slayers, natsu," cobra retorted. "WHAT?! Natsu yelled in rage. However, natsu froze in fear when cobra glared at him, with his mother's eyes. "Use your damn nose, salamander, NOW!" cobra ordered.

"AYE, SIR!" natsu yelled and saluted, before doing as ordered. It was then that he noticed macao's scent coming off the vulcan. Natsu growled at the vulcan, before he attacked it with an iron fist. "Why'd you two attack that thing so viciously?!" lucy yelled out in fear. "Just watch," cobra said. Lucy did, and the vulcan disappeared in a flash of light, revealing a guy with slicked back dark blue hair and a white coat.

"What happened?!" lucy screamed. "He was possessed by the vulcan, as vulcans are, essentially, body snatchers," cobra explained. He then went over to macao and slapped him awake. "Urgh, wha-?" macao said, before he saw cobra, natsu and a blonde girl.

"What happened, macao?" cobra asked. "There were twenty of them. I managed to beat nineteen of them but, in my exhaustion, it was the last one that got me," macao said. "How long has it been?" he asked.

"Four days past what you promised romeo," cobra said bluntly. "Fuck, how can i face my son, now?" macao asked. "Don't be like that, you managed to beat nineteen monsters out of twenty. That's nothing to be ashamed about," natsu said.

"Come on, romeo's waiting for you," natsu said, as he put macao on his back and carried him back to magnolia. Once the group got to the base of mt. hakabe, cobra told the group that he was going to do the job he accepted. "By the way, macao," cobra began. "Yes?" he answered. "Lucy here's a new member to the guild," he said, while pointing at lucy. "Also, there's a little girl at the guild that specializes in poison magic. So, don't just approach her, alright?" cobra told him. "Sure thing, cobra," macao said.

"Later," cobra said, before he turned away and started to go to his destination, yuki on his back.
