One peaceful morning at 8am Rin decided to check the fridge, and all of a sudden there was no breakfast in the fridge.

Rin wasn't very happy. While Len was sleeping really calmly, Rin decided to slam Len's bedroom door and decided to yell out loud "Len, go buy some bread at the supermarket!"

Teto randomly busted into Len's bedroom door and as soon as she heard the word "bread", she immediately ran into Len's bedroom and said "Did somebody say BREAD!"

Len said very disappointed and grumpy "Ugh Rin! Why do you always have to say the word B-R-E-A-D out loud whenever Teto is around! Also, it's very rude to bust into my bedroom without knocking into my door!"

Rin said: "I totally didn't expect you to spell the word bre-

Len said: "Shush! You know giving Teto B-R-E-A-D is like giving bread to a bunch of ravenous hungry ducks!"

Rin said: "Len, go to the supermarket to buy some bread. We are short on breakfast, let alone any food!"

Len said in a TOTALLY arrogant, angry and pedantic tone, like if he was having an argument: "What about the leeks that were on the fridge! Don't tell me Miku ate them all!"

Rin said disappointingly after facepalming: "Len, there is literally NO FOOD LEFT IN THE FRIDGE YOU MORON!"

Len said: "Ok, I'm going to buy some bread, I promise it will be very quick!"

Rin said "Here, have some money to buy bread, and don't even think of spending the money I gave you on anything other than bread!"

Len said: "Ok Rin! I promise it won't take me very long, it will be quick!"

Len walked in into the supermarket. As soon as he walked in, he was astonished by just seeing a King of Fighters arcade machine. Len thought it was a cool idea for an arcade machine to be placed on his local supermarket, although he thought placing it on a supermarket might be a little odd, but regardless, he got a bit distracted by the arcade machine.

Len was questioning himself, and fighting the urge of not touching the arcade machine, but that didn't stop him of thinking different ways and methods of playing the arcade machine without Rin suspecting. Len saw the price for bread. Len remembered Rin gave him two dollars. Len as soon as he saw that the price for bread has lowered, he immediately screamed in surprise and joy, as he could first pay for the bread and as soon as he paid for the bread, he could chill and play some rounds of his favorite arcade game.

Len quickly paid for the bread, and as soon as he was finally done paying to the cashier, he obviously would start playing King of Fighters. Len looked very focused in the game, but at the same time, thrilled.

Len said very confidently: "Sweet! I can finally defeat Rugal Bernstein! Everytime I play and do a combo I feel like I'm breaking my fingers, but it's pretty much worth it!"

As he reached Rugal's stage, the screen of the arcade machine started glitching out of nowhere.

Len said "What the heck! The screen is glitching out of nowhere. The machine must be very faulty as it seems."

The screen displayed a random message in Japanese, which translates to "You think you are safe?"

Len heard an evil laugh coming from one of the aisles of the supermarket. He thought he was hallucinating for a second.

Rugal Bernstein said in a very defiant tone: "Well well well, look who is here! You think you got what it takes to truly defeat me, because any effort you make is truly worthless and futile!"

Len said "Holy crap! It's like Rugal jumped out of the screen and became real!"

Rugal said: "You're very funny Mr. Len, You think you are safe?"

Len said while nervously sweating and shaking "Damn, how do you know my name?"

Rugal continuously kicked Len.

Len was laying on the ground with blood coming out of his teeth, but with no tooth was broken whatsoever.

Rugal said in a mischievous tone: "Well, the only thing you are not safe from is me, RUGAL BERNSTEIN! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Len said to himself: "I won't give up! Not until I finish defeating Rugal, If I can defeat Rugal in the game, I can defeat Rugal in real life?"

Rugal as soon as Len stood up said: " Well well well, it looks like you finally stood up! You think you can never give up, but in reality you are not safe from me!"

Len tried attacking Rugal with a kick, but that didn't stop Rugal from attacking him.

Rugal grabbed the leg Len used to kick him, and slammed him to the ground.

Len stood up again with his teeth covered in blood again and told Rugal: "Look, you're pretty much a worthy opponent for me and you've given me a good fight, but I've got to head back to my house.

Rugal told Len sarcastically: "Understandable, have a nice day."

Len went back to his house with breakfast. Rugal couldn't believe Len left to his house. It's like he's chickening out!

As soon as Len headed back to his house Rugal said: "Hmph! SUCH PATHETIC BEHAVIOR FROM THIS FOOLISH YELLOW HAIRED MORTAL! What a weakling!"

As soon Len went back home, Rin was very happy Len brought bread, but she was also worried as of why Len's teeth were covered in blood.

Rin gasped and then said very worried "Oh my gosh, Len. What happened to your teeth!"

Len said: "Something very odd happened to me at the supermarket, but hey Rin, at least I came back with breakfast to our table!"

Rin very angrily told Len "Len, for the love of God please tell me you didn't start a fight with someone at the supermarket, let alone in public!"

Len said "No! Of course I wouldn't do anything stupid like picking fights with random people in public! Let's just start eating breakfast since we're all hungry!"

Rin said to Len: "Len, be honest, did you pick a fight with someone?"

Len said "Pfft! Of course not! Why would I do that? What truly happened is that a strange man called Rugal wanted to fight me at the supermarket!"

Rin said: "Rugal... That name sounds very suspicious and familiar at the same time."

Len asked Rin if she ever knew about Rugal Bernstein and she said angrily "YES! Oh for the love of God! Please don't tell me you're not talking about King of Fighters!"

Len said to himself: "Damn! If Rin finds out I used the money she gave me to buy bread and play King of Fighters at the same time, I'm screwed!"

Rin said very angrily: "You used THE MONEY I GAVE YOU to play arcade games? Kinda explains why it took you so long to get back home!"

Len said:"Look, just let's leave the conversation for later and let's eat!"
