Chapter 5: Brothers reunited
In time Anakin and Padme arrived back at Tatooine in hopes to find Obi-Wan in hopes they will save their children in time.
Padme cried all the way there and who can blame her the children she brought in this Galaxy were kidnapped and couldn't bare the thought of never seeing them again.
Anakin was the same as he remembered the last time he was at Tatooine.
The last time he was here he was looking for his mother only to lose her to the Sand People and killed them all for it his first path to the dark side…
And now he has returned to find his brother for help to save his son and daughter.
Their first stop was the Lars farm and find out if Owen knows where Obi-Wan is?
And as Owen at one of the antennas, and didn't take long to have dejavu when seeing Anakin and Padme enter the farmland.
"Anakin?" Owen asked.
"Hello Owen." Anakin said to his step brother.
"Anakin. Padme. My stars it's good to see you both." Beru said.
Padme nodded, still tearing up, which drew Beru into concern.
"After what happened last time you were here I didn't think you'd come back." Owen said.
"I wouldn't have if I didn't have to. Believe me I hate the sand." Anakin said.
"So after all this time…what's the accession?" Owen asked.
"We need to find Obi-Wan. After the Order fell he settled here. We need to find him." Anakin said.
"If you're looking for him because those people were looking for him then I suggest you take him with you before showing him." Owen said.
"Owen this is bigger than that. Luke and Leia were taken away from us." Anakin said.
Beru gasped covering her mouth with Padme crying again.
Beru comforted her with Anakin looking at his step brother with desperation…
"Owen…I know we're not really brothers but our parents made us family. And I need your help. My son and daughter were kidnapped. I can't save them without Obi-Wan. So if you know where he is…please…tell me." Anakin said to his step brother.
Owen sighed as much as he wanted nothing to do with this Jedi stuff he understood why Anakin needed him and his children were in trouble…
"He's at the cave up in the mountains about…ten miles from here. Just head East." Owen said.
"Thank you. Padme…stay here with them I'll be back with Obi-Wan." Anakin said.
"Please hurry back." Padme said.
Padme hugged Anakin with tears, worried enough as it is, and Anakin took Lars's speeder heading for the mountains…
Anakin was thinking back to their days together; it was the same Jedi training flashback from the original timeline.
Anakin was young and arrogant back then in fact he tried to best Obi-Wan in every way possible but his only downfall was fighting to win which made him underestimate a true Jedi's strength…
Meanwhile Old Ben himself was on transportation back into town.
But he felt a familiar presence…he knew it anywhere and didn't know why…HE was here.
Soon as he rode his alien camel back to his cave…
But as soon as he was back there…the presence he felt…was behind him…
"Hello there…Anakin." Obi-Wan said.
He turned around and Anakin grew a grind.
"The circle's now complete." Anakin said to his mentor.
"By the force." Obi-Wan said.
"I tried reaching you for seven years." Anakin said.
"I had to go dark since the Senate's election was underway. I had to play it safe." Obi-Wan said.
"We both did. But I need your help, Master." Anakin said.
"Help with what?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Luke and Leia were kidnapped yesterday. I don't know by who…but I feel it has to do with these people the Senate had looking for you." Anakin said.
"Inquisitors. They're called Inquisitors Anakin. And they're highly strong with the dark side." Obi-Wan said.
"I know. Qui-Gon told me." Anakin said.
Obi-Wan turned to his former apprentice in confusion…
"Qui-Gon spoke to you?" Obi-Wan asked.
Anakin faced down given he never told Obi-Wan about when Qui-Gon came to him before the Jedi Temple attack…
"I know I should have told you this before but…that night when the attack on the temple happened…I was visited by Master Qui-Gon and…he…warned me of an alternate future that…would have gone worse than it did." Anakin explained.
"What kind of alternate future?" Obi-Wan asked.
"There's no time to explain, Master. Luke and Leia have been kidnapped. And I need your help to help me save them." Anakin said.
Obi-Wan was in shock to hear his brother's children were kidnapped...
"I don't know who these Inquisitors are or what they want from us…but if they have my children I can't save them on my own. I need your help, Master." Anakin said sadly.
Obi-Wan understood how Anakin felt and wanted to help him save his children but…
"Anakin, I want to help…but I can't." Obi-Wan said.
"What? Why?!" Anakin said.
"The time of the Jedi is over Anakin. We may have defeated the Sith but we still lost the war." Obi-Wan said.
"There's Another Sith Obi-Wan." Anakin said.
"What?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Apparently Darth Sidious had a contingency if…" Anakin said.
Anakin still was afraid of telling him about the dark future Anakin saw when Qui-Gon spoke to him.
"If he failed to destroy us all. Master Qui-Gon said he's been hiding him all this time and HE'S leading the Inquisitors." Anakin said.
"Did he say who it was?" Obi-Wan asked.
"No. It could be anybody. All I do know is I can't face them alone. I need your help Obi-Wan. Just one last fight. Help me save my children." Anakin said.
Obi-Wan looked at Anakin in sympathy; he still didn't think this was a good idea but with his children's life at stake he could not just slam the door on Anakin not after everything they had been through.
He then went through his stack and opened a box…
…revealing…BOTH their lightsabers.
"Ten years ago you left this with me after your children were born. Perhaps the force was brought together…for a reason." Obi-Wan said.
Obi-Wan hands him his lightsaber and both…IGNITE them to begin their rescue mission…
