A/N : Sorry for the late update !... Actually I have no excuses :D

Enjoy !

"Hey Amy, how's it going?" asked Mira, wiping off a few tables with practiced ease.

"Not bad, any news?" Amy asked, her eyes hopeful.

Mira shook her head, her smile sympathetic. "No, sorry dear. Still nothing. Master is still waiting for the Magic Council to redact the recent report about all this."

Amy sighed, trying to keep her spirits up. "It's okay, not like I was really expecting anything," she smiled, though it didn't quite reach her eyes.

Natsu came over, his usual energy subdued. "It's been a whole month with no news. We don't even know if they've found that Solona Island."

"We knew we wouldn't be informed, Natsu," noted Erza, her tone practical. "They left knowing they wouldn't be able to give any news for a while."

"Let's just hope their research is going well, if they haven't found it yet," Mira beamed, trying to lift everyone's spirits.

Somewhere

Kalen swirled his mug around, resting his head on his hand. "Can't believe that fucking island was just a random piece of earth that showed up after some bullshit sea movement or whatever."

Gray, sitting next to him, let out a frustrated sigh. "Yeah, but we can't give up now. This mission wouldn't be assigned if it wasn't doable. That means the Magic Council knows something we don't. But hell, it's taking days for them to answer back."

Kalen slammed his mug down, the frustration boiling over. "I think it's time we go there ourselves," he stated firmly, receiving a knowing look from Gray.

"I know, I know," Kalen added, "But c'mon man, you're willing to wait a single more day? 'Cause I'm not."

Gray leaned back, crossing his arms. "It's risky, going without any official word."

Kalen nodded, his mind already made up. "Risky or not, we need to move. We've wasted enough time waiting around. We need to find that island and get the answers we've been searching for."

Gray sighed, then gave Kalen a small smirk. "Alright, Kal. Let's do this. We'll find that island, with or without the council's help."

They finished their drinks and stood up, the resolve clear in both their eyes. Gathering their things, they headed out.

"Let's head back to Hargeon. If it's an island, we'll need a boat anyway. I know we've cleared the entire port twice, but it won't kill us trying again," Kalen declared.

"Sure thing, lead the way," answered Gray.

Hargeon

"You sure? Never heard about it?" Kalen pressed, desperation creeping into his voice.

"Oi, kid, get away from me. It's the third time now. I already told ya I knew nothing. Now to hell with your island," shot back a particularly unfriendly guy working on his boat.

Gray stepped forward, his icy demeanor matching the frustration in Kalen's voice. "We just need a lead. Anything that might help us find Solona Island."

The man glared at them, wiping his hands on a dirty rag. "Look, I've been sailin' these waters my whole life. If there was an island out there, I'd know about it. Now, scram!"

Kalen clenched his fists, trying to keep his temper in check. "Come on, Gray. Let's try someone else," he muttered.

They continued their search, questioning anyone who would listen. Most of the responses were the same—confusion, irritation, or outright dismissal. The sun was beginning to set, casting long shadows over the docks.

Gray rubbed his temples, clearly as frustrated as Kalen was. "This is getting us nowhere. We need a new plan."

Just then, a voice called out from behind them. "You boys looking for an island?"

They turned to see an old man, his weathered face partially hidden under a wide-brimmed hat. He leaned on a cane, his eyes sharp despite his age.

"Yeah," Kalen replied, hope flaring up. "We're looking for Solona Island. Do you know anything about it?"

The old man chuckled, a raspy sound that seemed to come from deep within his chest. "Might be I do. But information ain't free, especially not information as peculiar as this."

Gray and Kalen exchanged a glance, their hopes slightly glowing. "What do you want?" Gray asked.

The old man tapped his cane on the ground thoughtfully. "There's a wreck off the coast, dangerous waters that the young sailors avoid. Bring me something from that wreck, proof that you braved the waters, and I'll tell you what I know. Once done, come back, you'll find me here," he said, faintly smiling.

Gray and Kalen nodded, determination etched on their faces. "Deal," Kalen said. "We'll be back."

"You can use my rowboat. Nobody here will ever let you approach a single sail from that wreck," the old man added, pointing his cane towards an old, but still floating rowboat.

"Guess this is our ride," Gray said, inspecting the boat.

Kalen nodded. "Let's get moving. The sooner we get to that wreck, the sooner we can get some answers."

They pushed the rowboat into the water and climbed in, taking the oars and beginning to row towards the horizon. The sea was calm, the gentle waves lapping against the sides of the boat. Surprisingly, they were already approaching the wreck.

"Wait... it was that close to the coast?" Gray questioned, his eyes locked onto the half-submerged ship peeking above the surface.

Kalen squinted at the wreck, his mind racing. "Looks like it. Makes you wonder why nobody's bothered to check it out before."

Gray shook his head, a frown forming on his face. "This sucks already. I can feel it."

At his words, Kalen felt the rowboat suddenly lurch. "Huh... Gray? I'm not controlling anything," he sweated, watching as the rowboat was pulled forward by some unknown force.

"It's... Mavis, Kalen!" Gray yelled, pointing next to the wreck. "It's a fucking sea black hole or whatever the hell it's called!"

Kalen's eyes widened. "It's... it's gonna pull us down to the depths. We need to do something."

"Just jump out! I'll create a path towards the wreck!" Gray shouted.

"But we need the rowboat to come back!" Kalen countered, panic rising as he saw the whirlpool's pull strengthening.

"Shit..." Gray muttered. "Kal, trust me, okay?" he said, before freezing the water in front of them, momentarily stopping the rowboat in its path. He jumped out, heading straight to the center of the maelstrom.

Before Kalen could open his mouth, the ice started cracking under the immense force. The rowboat slowly began gaining speed back towards the center. He was being pulled towards the bottom of the sea, helpless to stop it.

"Gray, hurry!" Kalen yelled, gripping the sides of the rowboat as the icy path broke apart.

Gray landed on a chunk of ice, his eyes focused and determined. He thrust his hands forward, sending a powerful surge of ice magic towards the maelstrom, trying to stabilize the path.

"It's not holding!" he shouted back, the ice cracking and breaking under the relentless pull of the whirlpool.

"Gray!" Kalen screamed as the rowboat teetered on the edge of the whirlpool. In a desperate move, he leapt out of the boat, aiming for a stable piece of ice. He landed hard, scrambling to keep his balance as the rowboat was sucked into the depths.

"Hang on, Kal!" Gray yelled, pushing himself to his limits. He froze the water around them, creating a temporary platform. "We have to move fast!"

Kalen nodded, heart pounding, and followed Gray as he leapt from one piece of ice to the next, heading towards the wreck. The whirlpool roared beneath them, a constant threat of dragging them down.

They reached the wreck, clinging to the side as the water swirled violently below. Gray's breath came in ragged gasps, his face pale from exertion. Taking in their surroundings, they realized the ship was actually insanely big, its true size masked by the water and debris.

"This ship... it's massive," Kalen said, his voice filled with awe and surprise. "How did it end up like this?"

Gray shook his head, his eyes scanning the wreck. "No idea, but we need to find something to bring back to the old man. Let's split up and search."

Kalen nodded, and they carefully made their way across the ship's remains, each taking a different direction. The ship was a labyrinth of broken corridors and twisted metal bars. Walking around wasn't an easy task, especially since the ship's nose was tilted downward towards the bottom of the sea.

As Kalen moved through the wreck, he kept his eyes open for anything valuable or significant. Broken furniture, scattered personal belongings, and remnants of the ship's cargo littered the corridors. The eerie silence was only broken by the occasional creak of the ship's structure and the distant roar of the whirlpool.

Meeting back up with Gray, Kalen nodded, announcing his empty-handed return. "Nothing on my side. You?"

"Nothing. This ship is huge, but most of it is underwater. And I'm not really keen on diving back in there, considering what's waiting for us," Gray muttered.

At his words, Kalen's ring faintly glowed, catching his attention. "Wh-what? My ring glowed?" he asked, turning his eyes to Gray, noticing he saw exactly what he just asked about.

"Yeah... it did," he said, before witnessing another faint glow. "It's... reacting? To something?" he added.

Kalen stared at his finger, the ring's glow fading slowly. "Let's have another look. At least where we can walk," he announced, taking a few steps back, heading another way.

Gray and Kalen retraced their steps, carefully navigating the treacherous corridors. As they moved deeper into the wreck, the glow from Kalen's ring grew slightly brighter, guiding them through the twisted metal and debris.

"Over here," Gray called, his voice echoing in the hollow remains of the ship. They entered what appeared to be a cargo hold, partially submerged but with enough dry space to explore.

On their first steps, the ring started glowing brighter and brighter. "I don't know what it's reacting to, but it's definitely reacting to something," stated Gray, eyes glued to Kalen's hand.

They made their way to the deepest dry part of the room before stopping, the ring's glow staying permanently bright.

"What now?" Kalen asked, without knowing what they really should be doing.

"I dunno, it's your magic!" scolded Gray.

"Thanks, bud, helping tons here," Kalen said with a deadpan expression.

Gray rolled his eyes, then focused on the glowing ring. "Look, there has to be something here that's making it react. Let's look around and see if we can find anything."

They started searching the area, moving debris and checking every nook and cranny. The ring's glow remained steady, indicating that whatever they were looking for was close.

As Kalen moved a piece of broken wood, he noticed a faint outline in the floorboards. "Gray, over here," he called, pointing to the outline.

Gray came over, and they both knelt down, prying at the edges until a hidden compartment popped open. Inside, they only found an old piece of paper, rolled up.

"That's... it?" Kalen asked, visibly confused.

"Let's just take it. That's enough for our old man," Gray spat, frustration in his voice. "Nearly died for a piece of paper, damnit."

"Yeah, now we gotta get out of this," Kalen noted, making Gray flinch, seeming he forgot how they even entered in the first place.

They turned and looked back towards the whirlpool, the icy platform Gray had created now completely vanished, shattered to pieces by the roaring sea.

"You in for a crazy plan?" asked Gray.

"Like we have other choices?" Kalen replied, giving him a wry smile.

"Okay, time to see if my ice resistance training has been paying off," Gray said before jumping down to the lowest point of the wreck, only a meter above the crashing waves. Kalen watched him concentrate, focusing his magic, before creating an entire rowboat made of ice.

"Hop in. I've got no clue how long this will hold. It's black or white this time. Let's move."

Kalen nodded, jumping down before hopping aboard. The ice boat felt surprisingly stable, but the cold bit through his clothes as he settled in. Gray took the oars, his face set with determination as he started rowing with powerful strokes.

The icy rowboat glided across the turbulent waters, the whirlpool's pull still strong but manageable with Gray's magic reinforcing the boat. "Mavis, this is a nightmare!" yelled Gray, his voice barely stronger than the waves ramming into them. "Kalen, take the lead!" he added, swapping places with him and taking a seat at the back of the rowboat.

Gray pinned his hands in the water, creating a small ice shield around them at the surface. "Let's see if this will help!" he yelled once more, his voice barely reaching Kalen. They fought against the churning waters, the shield providing some relief from the relentless assault of the waves.

The boat creaked and groaned under the pressure, but Gray's magic held it together. "Just a bit more!" Kalen shouted, his hands gripping the oars tightly as he rowed with all his strength.

The minutes felt like hours as they battled the whirlpool, every stroke a struggle against the powerful current. But gradually, the pull began to weaken, and the waters around them started to calm.

"We're almost there!" Kalen called out

Gray nodded, his face set with determination as he maintained the ice shield. "Keep going, Kalen!"

With one final effort, they broke free from the whirlpool's grasp, meeting the calmer seas. They both collapsed, breathing heavily.

"I can't believe we're still alive," Kalen panted.

"Same to be fair, I think I'm out of magic for the rest of the day."

"Nice going Gray, wouldn't be alive without you," Kalen gave a thumbs up, still catching his breath against the ice rowboat.

They made their way back to the dock, the ice boat slowly starting to dissolve as they approached. They jumped out just in time, the boat breaking apart and sinking into the sea behind them. Night still cloaked the port, much calmer than during the day.

"Let's find that old branch and get those informations," announced Gray.

Kalen swiftly followed him, the paper safely tucked in his trousers. But as they arrived at the meeting point, nobody was there to welcome them.

"You gotta be kidding," groaned Gray. "He said anytime! Please tell me he's not sleeping or something. Do we really need to wait until morning?"

Kalen looked around, frustration bubbling up, before his eyes met a strange note on a chair nearby.

"Hey, check this out," he said, moving towards the note and taking it in his hands.

If you read this note, that means you have made it back. And if you made it back, that means you have the map. Remember, only perfect harmony between two bodies will show you the way.

As Kalen read the note out loud, he shared a glance with Gray.

"What the hell is that about?" Gray finally spat. "Where's the old guy?"

"I don't know, but this note isn't a coincidence," Kalen replied, taking the rolled paper out. "I think we should check this out."

Gray came closer, and Kalen propped the paper down, carefully opening it. Their eyes widened as they were met with a completely blank sheet.

"It's... blank?" Kalen stammered.

Gray frowned, frustration evident. "Great, we went through all that for a piece of blank paper. What now?"

Kalen stared at the paper, his mind racing. "The note mentioned a map, and 'perfect harmony between two bodies.' Maybe it's some sort of magical activation."

Gray looked at him, skeptical but willing to try anything. "Alright, let's think. What can we do that would show this 'perfect harmony'?"

Kalen thought for a moment, then an idea struck him. "Gray, what if we combine our magic?"

Gray nodded, "Worth a shot. Let's do it."

They positioned themselves on either side of the blank map, focusing their magic. Kalen channeled his moon magic, letting it flow through his hands and onto the paper. Gray did the same with his ice magic, creating a delicate balance between their powers.

And nothing happened. The paper, or said map, remained completely blank.

"Awesome," muttered Gray, collapsing into a sitting position next to it. "Try something with your ring? I mean, that's what helped us find it in the first place."

Kalen glanced at his ring, the faint glow from earlier still fresh in his mind. "Good idea," he said, taking a deep breath to steady himself. He held the ring over the map, focusing on the connection he felt before. The ring began to glow softly, and he felt a faint warmth radiate from it.

As he concentrated, the glow intensified, casting a gentle light over the blank paper.

"This could be it, Kal," said Gray, leaning closer.

But the glow slowly disappeared, leaving them once again with a perfectly blank sheet.

"Strange... It reacted though..." Kalen whispered, trying to find any kind of explanation.

They stayed there for a while, reading the note over and over, trying all sorts of combinations.

"I hate intellectual work," moaned Gray, rubbing his temples in frustration.

Kalen stared at the note again, his mind racing. "Perfect harmony between two bodies... Maybe..."

"I know!" he snapped, "bodies, two bodies, the ring reacting... It's not about us! It's about celestial bodies, the moon and the sun!"

"What? Why would it be linked to your magic in any kind?" asked Gray, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know," Kalen answered, "but that's the only lead I can find, anything linked to my ring. So... What could be the perfect harmony between the sun and the moon, other than an eclipse? Because if that's the solution, we're done for. We can't wait for an eclipse. Has to be something else."

Gray thought for a moment, then his eyes lit up. "What about your magic forms? They appear depending on what time of day it is, right? Meaning one is stronger than the other during certain periods. What if you wait until the moment they swap? At that exact moment, they should be... equal?" He paused, realizing even he wasn't sure what he was talking about.

Kalen considered his suggestion, feeling a flicker of hope. "That actually makes sense, Gray. There's always that brief moment at dawn and dusk when day and night are in balance. You're a fucking genius."

Gray nodded, gaining confidence. "Yeah, twilight. That's when they should be equal. Let's give it a try."

They waited patiently, watching as the night began to give way to the first light of dawn. The sky transformed with hues of pink and orange, casting a serene glow over the port.

"Here goes nothing," Kalen whispered, setting his hand above the map and summoning Nyx. A dagger appeared in his hand, its dark, moonlit aura pulsating gently. He waited for the exact moment it would be replaced with Ray. The ring on his finger glowed, just like it did when they tried earlier.

As the sky brightened, the moment of perfect balance approached. The ring's glow intensified, responding to the transition from night to day. Kalen felt the power shift within him as Nyx began to fade, glitching slowly between his fingers. And just as the last traces of night disappeared, the transition completed. Nyx vanished entirely, replaced by the bright, intense glow of Ray, the katana materializing in his hand.

"The ring, it's glowing way more than earlier," noted Gray.

Kalen remained focused on the ring, trying to pour the magic out on the map. And as he tried, faint lines and symbols started appearing on the map.

"It's working!" he beamed, the glow slowly fading, as he could finally scan the newly printed information.

Gray leaned in, examining the map closely. "Looks like a basic sea map. I'm guessing something differs from a classic one."

Kalen smirked and high-fived the ice make mage. "Then let's find one and compare."

Arriving in a library, they swiftly asked for a sea map. Opening it up, they thrust their new one next to it, analyzing every single detail.

"Stay focused, maybe it's a tiny detail," Kalen whispered, concentrating on their two maps.

After a while, Gray nudged him. "Check this out!" as Kalen leaned closer.

His finger pointed to a small island in the top right corner that visibly wasn't appearing on the library's map. "Seems like we've got a lead, Kal." he smiled, before getting up. "Time to set sail."

Fairy Tail

"Master, welcome back," beamed Mira, welcoming Makarov as he returned from a long meeting with the council. He greeted her with a tired smile.

"Any news about this strange mission?" she asked, her curiosity evident.

Makarov's expression darkened, his voice taking on a seriously terrifying tone. "Nothing. And I'm actually quite worried. Apparently, nobody has heard about that mission, and nobody has officially accepted it either."

Mira's eyes widened in concern. "What do you mean? How is that possible?"

Makarov shook his head, frustration etched on his face. "I don't know, Mira. It seems like this mission was fabricated, or someone is deliberately keeping it off the records. Either way, those kids could be in greater danger than I had imagined."

Mira's face grew shocked. "But... Gray and Kalen, we don't even know where they are!"

Makarov nodded. "Indeed, and now, they can only count on themselves," he answered, clenching his fist. "Let's just hope they'll be reasonable..."

Hargeon

Gray and Kalen continued their journey, finally setting sail as they 'borrowed' a boat. They had done this a few days ago, the travel taking a couple of days according to their map.

"I'm glad I'm not like Natsu with his motion sickness," Kalen stated, resting his arms on the side of the boat.

"True, he wouldn't survive a multiple-day boat ride," chuckled Gray. "Hey, what do you think we'll find over there?"

"No clue. And I'm clueless since the day we left the guild," Kalen sighed. "My memories are a blur; the only day I remember is..."

"Yeah, I know. Don't sweat it," said Gray, understanding the situation.

The sea was calm as they continued towards their destination. The rhythmic lapping of the waves against the boat created a soothing backdrop, making the journey feel almost peaceful despite the looming unknowns.

After a while, Gray's eyes finally widened. "Kal, check it out," he said in awe.

Raising his head, Kalen's eyes were met with an imposing isle ahead of them. The island was shrouded in mist, its towering cliffs and dense forest giving it an almost otherworldly appearance. It was unlike anything they had ever seen before.

"How the hell did nobody spot this?" Kalen whispered, sensing something was off. "This isn't just a small one. It's massive." He glanced at Gray, understanding he shared the same opinion.

"Yeah, something weird. Even a blind man could notice it," Gray gritted. "Are we even sure this is... Solona Island?" he asked.

Kalen nodded, "Once again, no clue. And I don't even know how we're ever gonna find out."

Gray sighed, frustration evident on his face. "Well, we're here now. Let's see what we can uncover."

As they navigated closer to the island, the eerie feeling intensified. The mist seemed to swirl around them, almost as if it was alive, guiding them toward a specific point on the shore. They carefully docked the boat, securing it to a sturdy rock formation.

Stepping onto the island, the ground felt solid yet strangely unwelcoming. The air was thick with humidity, and the sounds of the forest were muted, giving the entire place an unsettling silence.

"Mavis, this is creepy," Gray whispered, grimacing. "Let's move carefully."

Kalen nodded, following behind him. He couldn't recognize anything, the view, the scents, the atmosphere. Nothing was ringing a bell inside him. Every so often, he glanced around, half-expecting something to jump out at them.

"Keep your eyes open," Gray muttered, his ice magic ready. "We don't know what's out here."

As they ventured deeper into the forest, they came across strange, ancient markings carved into the trees and rocks. The symbols were completely unfamiliar.

"Check these out," Kalen said, running his fingers over the carvings. "Looks like ancient words or letters. What the hell is going on here?"

"Kalen..." Gray called out from the side. As Kalen turned around, he was met with Gray's paling expression. "I think we ARE on Solona Island," he stammered, pointing out two gigantic rocks afar, each one with a moon and sun symbol.

"What the..." Kalen gasped, his eyes widening in disbelief. "It has to be. So my native island had... a link with the sun and the moon. And that's surely why it's my magic, but I still don't know how I got it."

Gray walked over to the rocks, gaining his composure, examining the symbols closely. "These symbols... Let's continue this way."

They followed the path, leading them straight between the rocks. Walking through the thick vegetation, they stumbled onto something that made Kalen's heart stop.

"This..." Kalen began, his eyes widening.

Before them lay the ruins of an ancient village, half-buried in the overgrowth. Stone structures, weathered by time, stood in silent testimony to a once-thriving community.

Gray looked around, his expression a mix of awe and confusion. "This place... it's incredible. Do you recognize any of it?" he asked, turning towards Kalen, only to realize he was completely paralyzed. "Kal? You good?"

"I... This is my village," Kalen whispered, tears welling in his eyes.

"Your village? You mean... This is where you're from?" he asked, receiving a simple nod from Kalen.

Kalen took a few steps forward, stopping in front of a small stone ruin. Passing his finger over the mossy stone, a tear broke free, rolling down his cheek. Memories, hazy and fragmented, began to resurface—images of laughter, warmth, and a sense of belonging that he had long forgotten.

Gray walked up beside Kalen, his gaze softening as he saw his tears. "Kal... I'm sorry," he said quietly, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "This must be really hard for you."

Kalen nodded, trying to find the words. "I don't remember much, but I know this place. I can feel it in my bones. This was my home. This is the place that got destroyed. This is the place that disappeared, the entire island disappeared. How is this even possible?"

Gray's expression mirrored Kalen's confusion. "I don't know, Kal. But there's definitely something at play here. We need to figure out what happened and why."

Kalen took a deep breath. "You're right. Let's see what we can find."

They continued to explore the village, each step felt like peeling back layers of a mystery that had been buried for far too long. The deeper they delved, the more Kalen felt a connection to the place, as if the island itself was reaching out to him. However, he could also feel the cries and screams from the only memory still intact in him. Death and chaos filled up this place, and he knew it more than anyone.

In the center of the village, they discovered a large stone plaza with an intricately carved pedestal at its heart. The pedestal bore the same sun and moon symbols, along with other, more complex runes that seemed to shimmer faintly in the dim light.

"This is incredible," whispered Gray.

As Kalen walked past him, approaching the pedestal, he realized something was missing. "Gray," he called out. "Looks like... This hole is meant to be filled."

Gray stepped closer, examining the pedestal. "You're right. Looks like a keyhole or something. Let's look around a bit more."

They started to search the area around the pedestal, carefully examining the surrounding ruins and undergrowth for anything that might help them understand what was going on. Suddenly, Kalen was struck with a realization and rushed back to the pedestal.

"Gray, I think it just hit me," Kalen called out, his heart racing. "This slot..." he added, pulling the ring off his finger and aligning it with the hole. "It fits perfectly."

"You think that ring of yours is some kind of key?" asked Gray, his confusion evident.

"I think so," Kalen replied, his hands trembling slightly as he held the ring.

With a deep breath, Kalen carefully inserted the ring into the slot. As soon as it clicked into place, the pedestal began to hum softly, and the runes lit up, casting a warm, ethereal glow. The ground beneath them started to tremble, and the air filled with a low, melodic tone.

"Hold onto something!" yelled Gray, as they struggled to keep their balance. The trembling intensified, and the ground beneath them started to shift and crack. They grabbed onto the pedestal for support, having to immediately let go when a large and seeming powerful magic beacon rushed towards the sky in a deafening sound.

"Get cover, Kalen!" Yelled Gray once more, before ducking behind a stone ruin. Kalen followed swiftly, eyes locked on the column of magic now roaring in front of them.

The energy was overwhelming, filling the air with a heavy atmosphere. The ground continued to shake, it felt as if the very island was awakening from a long slumber, responding to something they had just unleashed.

Gradually, the tremors subsided, and the column of magic began to dissipate, leaving a shimmering trail in the air. As the dust settled, they finally took a peek from behind their stone cover.

"Mavis, what is that," gasped Gray, discovering the scene. From afar, they could witness a gigantic temple rising from the earth. Its towering spires were adorned with intricate carvings of sun and moon symbols. The sight was awe-inspiring, and for a moment, all they could do was stare.

"This is... incredible," Kalen whispered, his voice barely audible.

Fairy Tail

"Master!" yelled Mira, rushing to Makarov. "Have you heard?"

Makarov slightly turned towards her. "Yes, dear, I've just heard what happened," he said, getting up and clapping his hands to get everyone's attention.

"Please, everyone. I just got important news from the Magic Council. A massive magical powerspike was localized an hour ago."

Everyone gasped at the news. "Could it be Gray and Kalen?" asked Erza.

"Yeah, that could be anything," added Amy in a low voice.

"It could be. However, the spike was localized in the middle of the sea," Makarov added with a serious voice.

Amy's eyes snapped open. "In the middle... Of the sea? Meaning they've found Solona Island?"

Makarov nodded. "Nothing can be confirmed, however, I do believe they could be onto something."

A few sighs of relief were heard, but the room still fell into a worried silence. "I know this mission is taking up space in your heads. But we all need to trust our two boys for this. We can't help; they're alone on this one. The Magic Council has also refused to send anyone to check out this magical energy," added Makarov.

Natsu, ever the optimist, grinned. "Yeah, those guys can handle anything. They'll kick whatever's out there and come back with amazing stories."

A/N : Alright, we'll be following Gray and Kalen into the next chapter ! I hope you like what's going on. I'm doing my best to keep it under control, knowing this is purely based on what's going on inside my head.

Until then, see ya !
