Prologue
Katsuki Bakugo was always a troublemaker. He loved to play pranks, he was the class clown but he was always a bully to those who were closer to him. Katsuki was brought up in an abusive home. His mother would always degrade him on every bit of thing she could find. She was always kind to strangers outside their family, but when it came to push to shove and the curtains were closed, it was the quite opposite.
Mizuki Bakugo has an angry personality. She had blonde hair just like her son. Her husband, had brown hair and was always so kind, much opposite from her and that was why she fell in love with him; he was different. Shy. Cute. Funny and very gentle, unlike Mizuki herself who had shared common personalities with, Katsuki. Her son.
They were both angry. They both had liked spicy food and a taste for music and they were both best friends with particular green hair.
Mizuki has been best friends with a girl named, Inko Midoriya. Mizuki had met her while going for a coffee and had bumped into each other while they were looking for their boyfriends. Turned out their boyfriends were best buds and as they grew closer, they eventually saw each other marry and have kids of their own.
It was a dream of Mizuki's and it had had, but that dream turned into a nightmare and that nightmare meant that Inko and her husband had died. That left their son all alone.
When Katsuki was 4, he was already too close to Inko's son, Izuku. They were cousins, but Izuku went a bit too far and liked to think of them as "long-lost brothers." Katsuki knew that he liked Izuku. Not in a way normal way adults would call it and it drove Katsuki's head to the point where he thought it was wrong. His mother always picked on him, so how was he supposed to know that liking guys wasn't a bad thing?
He didn't and that's what made it hard. By the time they were 5, Katsuki had grown more fond of the nerd, always with him, admiring how much of a nerd he was and his little cute mumbling problem and his little bob of green hair, but time moved on and Katsuki had gotten a quirk by age 7.
Inko's son did not.
It made Katsuki sad, however, he hid in anger. Bullied him. Although Katsuki always thought that the nerd had always looked down on him, he couldn't help but ask himself if that was true. Maybe if he bullied the little broccoli enough, then he would always stay. Like a dog too scared to leave. That's what his mother did to him so he never fully understood that it was wrong. So very wrong to do so.
By the time Katsuki had realized that Izuku was ahead of him with a quirk that wasn't there before, he got into U.A with him and even made some friends. But all too soon, his best friend was gone and so were his parents.
He couldn't even blink, he couldn't breathe.
He couldn't understand how easily the tables had turned and now that Izuku was gone, Katsuki was a ball of Anxiety. Kirishima had seen through his anger and came to his aid. After many attempts of trying to push him away, he gave up and eventually let him in.
A year passed and Izuku still didn't come back. Some say that he left to go live with his relative, but others thought he had gotten kidnapped. Some people thought that he might've given up on being a hero and turned into a villain.
Again, another year passed. Kirishima and the others would always stop by Inko's old house and tidy it up and have a sleepover on the weekends, except they would somewhat get carried away.
Sometimes they would have a party or just get drunk and have the best weekend. Nevertheless, there were times when Bakugo and Kirishima would just hang out at Inko's old place and watch a movie together and make out (seeing that Kirishima finally got through Bakugo's head) and fall asleep.
Soon, another year was about to pass. Christmas was a month away and Katsuki had gotten the news that All Might was in the hospital. It devastated those who looked up to him, but Katsuki was the worst one. Was he going to die? What about future peace? The-Number-One Hero? What would happen if he were to die? Where was Deku?!
he week class 1-A found out, the boys decided to have a let-go party at Inko's. Denki brought the beer, Kirishima brought the snakes, Bakugo brought the movies and Sero brought the weed. No one knew about the parties they would have. Not even the girls. No one, but themselves; And this was going to be one of the best parties there was this weekend. Katsuki was excited, but at the same time, he couldn't help but feel sad whenever he thought of Izuku and his parents.
Has his childhood best friend finally given up?
Chapter One
Everyone that was there for me was dead.
My mom had once said that if I truly believed in something, it'd happen.
What a lie.
And who gave a shit?
Not us.
Not me.
It wasn't until my boss brought me to his group of friends where they welcomed me that I had felt welcomed to New York. I changed for the better, and my past had gotten somewhat over. I was grateful for my new life in America.
I felt at home, Why shouldn't I? Others say I can't be heartless and not I miss home.
I say otherwise.
A year after America, Japan was no longer a thought I carried. Sometimes I would have night terrors over the relentless torment Kaksuki, my "best friend", would treat me but that was about it. My hometown, my old middle school, and the memory of a little boy crying in the corner were just a mere blur of memories. Even the hero district where I enrolled for a year was numbed away in my brain.
There was one small problem:
My parents were my every living nightmare no matter what medication, drug, or quirk I took.
_
"I'll be back soon."
Scoffing, he crossed his arms and switched his gaze to the suitcase in my hand. "You know how this is going to go Izuku," HIs eyes flickering to mine. "It's a suicide mission."
We both feel exhausted. I walked over to the door of the room where he stood and placed my hands on his shoulders. "Usually," I reply, smiling. "You know I can't miss this opportunity-" Above inches away from him, I looked down and sent him a dashing smile along with a wink. "C'mon love, don't you want to see me on the news?"
Before he could question, I was already out of the room.
My boss shuts off the lights behind me and closes the door. I toss a cold beer from the fridge and it flies towards the group that watched the older adult create a toast. "To Z!" I raised a bottle to my lips and took a sip as I watched my boss's gaze from afar.
He wanted to see me before I left.
"Everyone, we have a new transfer today." The small bear waved his palm towards the door where I was. "He is an elite member of the OPP team and SWAT. He's also a trainer, the youngest hero to be admitted, and he's a traveler. Please do what you can to make him feel welcome as he will be your new trainer starting tomorrow."
As I walk over to Principal Nezu, I can hear certain questions erupt among the students themselves. Ignoring them, I stop in front of the chalkboard and pick up a chalk piece to write:
{Z - SHORT FOR IZUKU.}
{BUT NEVER CALL ME IZUKU.}
"Hello, everyone my name is Z as you can see here." I turn around and sigh, examining each student.
Weird bunch-
Then I saw him. Sleeping. My mouth twitches in a sadistic smile as I realize the boy was dead asleep in the class. 'The class barely even started and he's sleeping?' I flick the chalk piece and it was sent flying across the room, hitting the blonde in the head as if it were a BB gun pellet. He yelps and grabs his head in pain startled.
"Who the fuck did that?!" He roared, eyes red as can be. Not the white in his eyes, no. The color of his eyes was red.
"The one who you're supposed to be paying attention to." I cross my arms and raise an eyebrow as I watch the boy look my way steaming with anger. But as soon as we locked eyes, his anger disappeared. His eyes widened in shock and he staggered back, sitting down in his seat.
"D-Deku..?" His voice was hoarse.
Good, I've got his attention. My mouth twitches in annoyance. "If you want to succeed in becoming a hero, Kaksuki Bakugo," I spat his name like venom. "You might want to try and pay attention. There's nothing more embarrassing to U.A than welcoming ignorant students. Others come here to learn and to become a hero. If you're just here to sleep, go home." My eyes blared into his eyes for a second, my harsh words echoing the silent classroom.
"Do they know each other..?" A student whispered to another.
"Now as I was saying.." I clasp my hands together and resort back to my calm demeanor, smiling towards the group of students. "As I wrote on the chalkboard, my name is Izuku, but you're allowed to call me Z-"
"CUT THE CRAP!" The blonde exploded from his chair, flying towards me in a flash. When I thought he was going to attack, he didn't. Instead, he stopped before me and grabbed my shirt, gripping it in disbelief and anger. "You disappear for YEARS like that after that big accident, leaving EVERYONE TO BELIEVE YOU WERE DEAD and suddenly you show?" He shakes in anger and grits his teeth. "YOU EXPECT ME NOT TO FUCKING QUESTIO-"
"Kaksuki Bakugo, I owe you nothing." My voice cuts him off cold as ice. "You do not know me anymore and what has happened in the past, is forgotten." I grip his wrist tightly and he lets go of my shirt. "Now sit back down, stop interrupting the class before I make you."
