Chapter 37- Real vs. fake
Earth-3013
"Who are you now?" Zachariah asked the man, who simply continued to smile. Sam and Dean looked around, realizing the place seemed to be some sort of ancient Indian palace of all things.
"Who am I?" He asked, then chuckled. "A fish in an ocean is unable to comprehend the entirety of it. That is why, do not ask unnecessary questions."
This was already enough to anger Zachariah, as he marched towards him. "Do you know who I am? I can kill you in a moment."
He snapped his fingers, and to his utter horror, nothing happened, causing his eyes to widen.
"….Huh?" He muttered.
"What is happening?" Uriel wondered, snapping his fingers as well, to no avail.
"Where are we?" Dean inquired finally.
"In another world of course", the man told him, then looked at Zachariah and Uriel. "You still have a chance; you can leave behind the evil you have followed and do the good that you are meant to do."
"Who do you think you are to tell me what to do?" Zachariah roared in utter rage. "I am an Angel of God! And He is clearly appreciative of my loyalty! Humans are weak and pathetic. Now, the Universe shall be destroyed, and for what you just said, this Universe shall be destroyed too, and God will create new ones with more compliant humans."
"He is right! And I am sure the Plans made for these Universes will be followed, unlike what happened before!" Uriel said angrily too.
As Uriel said that, Zachariah raised his hands, causing Sam and Dean to gasp, while he smirked. "You two are missing entire organs now. And I'm thinking I will give you stage 5 cancer as well."
The man's smile disappeared, his tone slightly hardening. "Now the limit of both your sins has come to an end, Zachariah, Uriel."
Zachariah's eyes widened. "How do you know my name?"
"Who are you?" Uriel asked.

The man raised the index finger of his right hand, and to the shock of Zachariah and Uriel, everything seemed to shake all at once, the sky darkening too, lightning cracking in the sky. Then, the sky split apart, and a light shone down on his index finger from the split apart sky.
It took the shape of a golden, spinning discus, with millions of sharp edges all over, and from the weapon, Zachariah seemed to realize who this was. "You are….."
"Yes", he nodded.
Uriel started. "But you are supposed to be a-"
"There is much you two do not know", he said, before the spinning discus left his finger, moving towards Zachariah and Uriel, who aimed at it, trying to make it disappear, but nothing happened. They snapped their fingers, and there was nothing still. They fired little blasts, trying to destroy it, and it still kept coming at them.
They backed off in terror, as the discus went through Zachariah, a bright light shining briefly from inside him as a scream of utter agony was heard, and then, Zachariah's human host fell to the ground, unconscious, with Zachariah dead, an ashy imprint of Angel wings on the ground.
Then next, it went through Uriel too, another bright light shining from within him while he screamed in utter agony, and then his human host fell unconscious to the ground too. Uriel was no more, and an ashy imprint of Angel wings was on the ground again.
The man smiled as the discus flew back to his index finger, while he closed his eyes, and it faded. He looked at Zachariah's and Uriel's unconscious human hosts, and they disappeared, fading away back to Earth-205.
Sam and Dean had recovered by now, the interruption to Zachariah and Uriel having caused their missing organs to return. The latter looked at the man and asked. "Who are you again?"
"You can call me Krishna", he said, to Sam's surprise. "Uriel and Zachariah shall not be trouble to you anymore."
"What'd you do to them?" Dean inquired.
"Zachariah and Uriel have been slain, and their human hosts are back home", Lord Krishna said with a shrug.
"How'd you do that?" Dean asked, confused.
"There is nothing I cannot do", Lord Krishna said ominously, then turned around, looking out the window at the sun in the sky.
"You are Krishna from Hindu Mythology, aren't you?" Sam asked his own question at that point, causing Krishna to turn back around with a smile. "When you told your name, and the peacock feather, and that discus thingy…that has to be you, right?"
"You speak correctly", Lord Krishna told Sam, then walked past the brothers, taking a seat, and gestured to two in front of him. Sam and Dean shared a hesitant look, then took their seats as well.
Dean started. "Umm, we are trying to escape-"
"Someone who calls himself God, I know", Lord Krishna revealed, surprising them once more.
"How do you know that?" Dean asked now.
"There is nothing I do not know", he shrugged. "So, this God is seemingly evil, and has played around your lives from the start, having manipulated events."
"That'd be the gist of it, yeah", Sam said, still looking devastated. "I had faith, I thought He was looking down on us, helping us from time to time, and also wanted to stop the Apocalypse. But this…"
"Guy is the biggest monster of them all", Dean scoffed in disgust. "And I've got no idea what to do. He is God, he found us in that other world, he will find us here, he will find us in whichever world we go to."
"What do we even do?" Sam muttered.
"If he is God, then why hasn't he arrived here yet?" Lord Krishna suddenly asked, making them look up at him.
"Wait, what?" Sam asked.
Middle-earth, Rivendell
Merry and Pippin were walking together, the latter asking. "What do you think we will find on this adventure, Merry? Will it be like Mr. Bilbo's adventure?"
"I don't think it will be as simple as that, Pippin", Merry sighed. While he was as mischievous as his cousin, he was also wiser, and understood things Pippin did not. But not for long, for Pippin was going to lose his innocence during this Quest as well. Merry wished for it to not happen, but it would. "We need to help Frodo in saving the entire Middle-earth."
"By going into this Mordor place, right? How far is it?" Pippin asked innocently.
"I do not think it is anywhere close", Merry shrugged, looking at the Barrow-blade at his waist. "But I do know it is not in a different world, which would be much farther."
"Even if it was, we could return with one of those 'extrapolator' things that Strider had his friends from another world make for all of us, right?" Pippin inquired, holding one out and looking at it curiously.
"Yes, I suppose it could", Merry replied, when a breach opened right in front of them and they fell into it, screaming.
Earth-1, Los Angeles
Trixie Espinoza was walking home from school, happily humming the song 'Smile' while doing so, when she heard a noise all of a sudden.
She turned around, and her eyes widened when she saw some sort of….giant bug stepping out of a portal? What was that?
Any other kid in her place would have been scared out of their wits, and for good reason too. But Trixie wasn't just any kid.
The bug thing screeched at her as Trixie took off her backpack and opened it, reaching for something, before pulling it out with a smile- a Demon Dagger! This thing totally had to be a Demon, it looked like one after all.
"Come on!" Trixie cried out at the bug, dashing towards it, but it dodged, then tried to strike at Trixie, who barely avoided by ducking, before she leapt back up and tried to slice at it again, only for it to dodge once more.
She leapt at it to strike, but it dodged again, and then, the dagger was yanked out of her hand before being thrown away.
"Oh no!" Trixie muttered in horror, the bug turning to her, only for her to punch it in the face, but it did nothing, while she held her fist in pain, the bug monster screeching, causing Trixie to back off.
Suddenly, another portal opened right next to her, confusing the bug creature a bit, while out of the portal came out two little people whom Trixie didn't recognize at all. They were really short, like children, but their faces clearly had adult features.
"Oh, now that was quite the hop! We should definitely do it once more", Pippin had to say cheerfully.
"You know, Merry, I believe I agree with you on this", Merry replied, the two looking around in shock at the modern city. "What manner of place is this?"
"I don't know, I haven't seen anything like it before, Merry", Pippin shrugged, before gasping. "Do you think we are in one of those other Universes?"
"We might be, it does not look like anything we've seen in the Shire…or Rivendell….or anywhere in between….." Merry trailed off, only for the bug creature to screech once more, causing them both to look at it.
"What is that, Merry?" Pippin asked with a gulp, the creature looking at them as if they were food.
"I think it is an…..insect…." Merry trailed off once more.
"But it is too big!"
"You two are funny", Trixie said to the Hobbits. "Didn't expect this much humor from such small people."
"Ooh, she is a feisty one, wouldn't you say, Merry?" Pippin asked his cousin.
"I agree, Pippin, and very sweet lass too", Merry added, as the bug swooped at them, the three ducking to avoid, while Merry spotted Trixie's dagger. "Does this belong to you, lass?"
"Yes!" Trixie said, then whispered. "They were made in Hell."
"What is Hell?" Pippin asked, confused. "Merry, what is Hell?"
"I do not know, Pippin, maybe it is the name of a forge of the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain", Merry said in reply, confusing Trixie now, while Merry picked up the dagger and tossed it to her. "Here!"
The bug monster swept down at him again, and feeling protective of Trixie all of a sudden, the Hobbits let out a battle cry while standing up and drew their Barrow-blades, swinging them quickly, the bug monster being caught by surprise this time, as the Barrow-blades had chopped off its legs, making it screech as it fell down, bleeding some alien blood.
"That is not what blood looks like", Pippin noted, disgusted. "I do not think even Orc blood looks like that."
"Either way, this is over", Trixie said as she raised her Demon Dagger and…
SLICE!
The bug's head was chopped off, sending more alien blood to the ground, while its headless body collapsed, the creature dead at last, though Trixie herself looked disgusted. Knowing something needed to be killed was one thing….actually killing it was another.
But still, it was a bug monster, so she wasn't as affected as she'd be if it was a human instead.
"Merry, I think I am ready for the adventure now", Pippin said after a moment.
"I thought you were ready when you joined", Merry reminded him.
"…Yes, but now I am even more ready!" Pippin finally said, Merry nodding.
"So your names are Merry and Pippin?" Trixie asked them both.
"Yes, Meriadoc Brandybuck…"
"And Peregrin Took…."
"….at your service", both bowed down together, and Trixie smiled before bowing back.
"Trixie Espinoza at your service", she replied, while thinking about how complicated their full names were, but decided not to comment. It would be rude!
"Thank you for helping me with…whatever that bug was!" Trixie thanked both of them.
"You do not need to thank us, lass. We just did what was needed of us", Merry assured her. "Besides, you are good with a blade too, maybe we should meet again."
"I'd love that!" Trixie said.
"But right now, we need to return", Merry then said, looking at the giant buildings again, while a car passed by them, making both Merry and Pippin gasp. "It is one of those chariots that do not need horses to pull them!"
"Let us go back right now!" Pippin agreed, taking out the extrapolator, turning it here and there, before finding the button, which opened a breach, the two Hobbits sharing a look, then waving at Trixie, who waved back, before they both walked into it, and it closed.
Trixie stood there, contemplating what had just happened, before picking up her backpack and putting the Demon Dagger back into it, after which she continued to walk home. "This is one of those things mom doesn't need to know about."
Earth-199999, New York City, X-Mansion
Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters was home to many Mutants trying to understand and control their powers. Since the battle for Alcatraz, their numbers have only increased, many seeking to follow in the dreams of Charles Xavier. However, the return of Magneto brought great turmoil amongst the Mutant community, and now, Mutant numbers were only increasing.
Ororo was starting to feel herself stretched thin. Magneto's return brought a foul mood that lasted days, clouding the school and beyond in an endless gloom. It was only upon seeing the effect she had on the children that the weather manipulator calmed down and focused where her attention was needed: the new students. It has been a trying time, from calming down students about the Brotherhood's attack, convincing them not to leave to join Magneto, and dealing with the new Mutants desperate for help.
The Brotherhood's attack left its mark in more ways than one.
Bobby stared at the door in anguish. Rogue hasn't had anyone inside for a week. Kitty had to phase through the door to leave her food and water. Whenever she checked in again, the phasing Mutant found them untouched. Marie was killing herself.
They couldn't make her do anything. It was against their rules to use telepathy against one of their own, especially after what happened with Jean, but they were reaching the limit. Bobby was reaching his limit. Ever since the cure, they could touch, have a true relationship that wasn't burdened by her powers. Since Alcatraz, everything changed for them.
Now it has again.
The power copier reactivated Rogue's powers, sending her through a downward spiral. She barely talked to anyone, everyone the life-absorber got close to, she now treated them as if they had the plague. Bobby was barely allowed within an arm's length of her now. Not even when Jimmy was near did Rogue relax, in fact, now knowing the cure wasn't forever, she did not even believe her powers could be turned off anymore, and she refused to test the possibilities.
Storm tried to get her to open up, as did Kitty, Piotr, Clarice, Jubilee, all of them. It didn't work, especially after a near miss with a young student nearly touching Rogue's skin. That was when she started to starve herself. The only one they believed could do anything was Logan, but no one knows where he is, not for some time now, Bobby lost track how long it's been since the school had seen the Wolverine.
The cryokinetic couldn't take it anymore. He stared at the door to Marie's room before his hand gripped the handle. Ice travelled through his hand, freezing the metal to the point that Bobby crushed the lock in his grip before pushing the door open and closing it behind him, freezing it in place. This needed to be done in private. It was dark, the blinds were pulled, blocking the sunlight of midday, but there was enough visibility to see the room was a mess. Things thrown around, clothes discarded, a lamp knocked over, and the latest tray of food from lunch left untouched. It looked like the room of someone who didn't care anymore. What truly broke Bobby's heart was the sight of his girlfriend, in bed, looking up at the ceiling blankly as if already dead. Even if half her body was covered by the sheet, Bobby could see Marie's features were turning gaunt, weak.
"Marie." Bobby used her actual name in desperation as tears welled up in his eyes. One dropped down his cheek before it froze halfway as the X-Man kneeled next to her. "You have to stop."
"I have." Rogue's voice was low, dry, in desperate need of hydration.
"That doesn't mean you have to kill yourself!" Crying as he thought back to the day he'd met that beautiful new girl so many years ago, Bobby took Rogue's hand from under the sheet. "We can get through this."
"No. Not anymore." The Mutant with the cursed power turned her head to her boyfriend. "I'm done living with this curse."
"Don't say that." Bobby said desperately. "Things have changed. Aliens, Gods, other worlds, they all exist. We have Tony Stark's number. We know actual superheroes. They might have a way to help you if you let them."
"For how long?" Shaking her head, Marie found the strength to push herself up against the headboard. Her arms strained from supporting herself, to the point Bobby tried to help her until she flinched away from his touch. That flinch hurt in more ways than one. "The cure is gone. I can't take Jimmy with me everywhere. My powers are back, Bobby. The curse is back."
"We can-"
"No!" Marie croaked, stopping Iceman from speaking as she looked at him incredulously. "Don't you get it? It's all back! I can't touch you anymore, but I also got…" Marie raised a thin hand to her temple, "They're all back."
"The memories?"
"I touched them, now they're stuck in here!"
"Hank mentioned this." Bobby insisted as he carefully pushed a strand of her hair back, using her discarded glove to do so to avoid seeing her flinch again. "The serum he made that helped the Professor to suppress his powers, it made him hear all the voices of people around him to the point it was overwhelming. You can get through this, control it like before."
"That wasn't controlling." Rogue stared down into the hand farthest away from her boyfriend. One touch, for too long, and she can kill someone, and take part of them away while she was at it. "David, Magneto, Logan, you, everyone I ever touched is stuck in my head. Their memories, thoughts, and I can't understand any of it. Something like this can't be controlled."
"But you haven't even tried."
"I'm done, Bobby!" Marie screamed at him, sounding more like a croak but it made Bobby recoil as if he was slapped. "I'm done putting up with this, knowing that one moment can be all it takes for me to…kill someone. Especially you."
"Rogue, no…"
"There's no talking me out of this."
Bobby stood to his feet in an icy fury, spreading his arms out to gesture to the whole school. "So you give up? All of this? Us?"
"Yes." The woman he loved for so long looked at him with dead eyes before finally telling him what he dreaded to hear since that Brotherhood Mutant reactivated her X-gene. "It's over."
Bobby can control ice, become ice, create an arctic like environment around him, but those words, he never felt so cold.
"I should have a choice in this."
"I've made mine."
That was it. She said it. They were done. A relationship spanning so many years, gone. How it could end like this, it made the eldest Drake son hurt on the inside. If his heart were made of ice like he could do with the rest of his body, it'd shatter to thousands of pieces.
Defeated, losing hope, Iceman turned around and walked to the door. There was no saving something that couldn't be saved. No matter how hard he tried, Rogue won't budge.
It didn't mean he would stop fighting.
"Marie…you shouldn't…" Bobby grunted as he tried to find the right words. What could he say? What could stop her? "Look, you want to break up, fine. If that's what you think is best, but don't think for a second that anyone would be better off with you dead!"
"I-"
"No, this is where you listen!" Bobby shouted back at her. It was enough to make Marie look him in the eye. "Ending everything might be what you think is best for you and for everyone, but you're wrong. This, is a family! Your family! It never mattered that you had no powers, you belonged here. With you gone, you don't think that'll hurt us? Ororo, Kitty, Blink, Piotr, Roberto, Sofia, Hank, Jubilee, Sofia, all of us, even Julian for crying out loud!" He said with passion and desperation, trying to remind her of the loved ones she was leaving behind because she was afraid, afraid to try all over again of dealing with her affliction. It was working, she couldn't meet his eyes anymore. "How do you think Logan would feel?"
"I'm afraid." She suddenly said. She began to shake; tears would have fallen if her body wasn't so dehydrated. "I've always been afraid. Now they're back…I don't think I can deal with it all again."
"That's why you don't have to go through this alone." Bobby promised her before dissolving the ice on the door and walking out.
Once he did, Bobby let his back hit the opposite wall and slowly slid down until he hit the floor. Feeling the tears begin to flow and freeze again, Bobby ran his hands down his face to clear away the ice and moisture.
Not long after, Kitty walked in with a new tray, taking back the old one before leaving Rogue alone to her thoughts. Still in the bed just like how Bobby had found her, Rogue finally moved towards the tray, and picked it up.

Casually and without a break in her step, Parker walked into the lobby of hers and Felicia's hotel, discarding her disguise from earlier as she passed a bellhop. Alahi had Felicia. She got the call for the diamond's return, or unpleasantness would happen to her student. There was only one option for the thief.
She found a cuffed Felicia sitting, three goons around her, and Alahi with one big, tacky looking golden Desert Eagle. Not surprising actually, you know what they say about guys with big guns. Out of the corner of Parker's eye, she found another, burly looking bellhop who did seem like the usual hotel employee. Unless they hired the scary looking ones on purpose.
"Do you have what I want?" Alahi questioned.
Shrugging, Parker faked confusion. "How am I supposed to know what you want? What am I, a psychic?" Peyman opened his mouth, but Parker suddenly gagged. "I pretended to look in your mind for a second. Gross."
Alahi cocked back the hammer of the gun. Felicia looked at the master thief incredulously. "Is this your idea of saving my life?" So dramatic, Parker thought as she rolled her eyes.
"Show me the diamond."
"What's the magic word?"
A dark laugh with no humor left Alahi as he poked the barrel against the younger blonde's head. "You think I'm playing a game? Hand over the diamond, or I might call a few of my more unsavory friends. They would have an idea what to do for such," Alahi paused and looked down at Felicia, more specifically her shirt, with a smile that made both blondes nearly barf, "alluring troublemakers."
"Alright, please, shut up, I just ate." Parker displayed the bag containing the diamond, it made the younger thief a little pissed that she managed to swipe it from her in the first place, but if she didn't things might have been worse. Not that Felicia would admit that to her teacher.
"Give it to me." Alahi demanded as he opened his palm. One of the bellhops, with his hair tied in a ponytail began to walk by with a luggage trolley.
"If you want it so bad, come and take it from me." Parker challenged with a smirk, one that made the older, hairier man scoff.
"Look around you. Everyone in the room is with me." Doing so, Parker and Felicia noticed the burley bellhop and a man in a suit walk closer, the man sitting opposite Felicia stood up, the two men on either side of Alahi stepped forward. "What are you going to do, fight us all? All by yourself?"
That smirk never left Parker as she looked to Felicia and winked. "By myself? Nah."
The Hardy looked at the thief questionably before the bellhop pushing the trolley shoved it into one of Alahi's men and tackled another. Parker took the chance and elbowed one of the guys behind her while Felicia, seeing, Alahi distracted, shoved his gun away and launched a kick at his face.
"About damn time." Parker grunted as one guy tried to kick her but she grabbed his foot, punching his face twice, then elbowing it, before kneeing him out. She rolled away to avoid another one's kick and grabbing him from behind, threw him down. One more tried to attack but she blocked and punched his face before spin-kicking him out.
"That's the thanks I get for keeping an eye on you?" Eliot shouted at Parker as he decked a man in the gut, then elbowed him away before grabbing the other's arm, then kneeing his gut, and kicking a third one back. Pushing the one whose arm he'd grabbed away, he blocked the blow of the guy he'd kicked as well as the first one, being unaffected by them, and then he punched one down before going down on a knee and punching the other down. As the third tried to attack, Eliot grabbed his foot and flipped him down, then got up and kicked the one he'd punched down before on the face, throwing him down again.
The one he'd punched down before grabbed him from behind but Eliot freed himself and spinning around, twisted the man's arms, before throwing him down again. The other two attacked again but Eliot blocked their blows and with a few more punches, knocked them out.
Well, this was fun.
"I could have stayed home, you know." Both Eliot and Hardison agreed that they should keep an eye on the duo. Felicia may have been good, but she was an amateur going up against dangerous people. Parker was a great thief, yet she could only do so much. Hardison kept his distance and did the computer work, ready to help in case needed, and Eliot observed from close by, but unseen.
As the hitter and thief of Leverage were dealing with Alahi's men, Felicia mounted the drug financier, having grabbed an ashtray with her cuffed hands and slammed it against his face. "What are you going to do to me now, huh?" Felicia snapped at him before striking him again, breaking his nose for sure.
With the goons down, Eliot had enough time to see the whole display by the teenager.
"Hey! Hey!" Parker grabbed Felicia's hands and pulled her up and away from the bleeding and unconscious Alahi. Panting, Felicia dropped the ashtray and looked to her teacher, who was looking back with surprisingly soft eyes. "You're okay." Felicia nodded in understanding, trying to get her heartbeat back to normal when she noticed the other man that helped Parker looking at them both. Seeing her look, the master thief gestured to the hitter. "This is Eliot, he kind of kicks ass."
"Yet most of the time I end up saving yours."
Parker quickly pointed at the younger, shorter blonde. "This was all her fault."
"Seriously?" Felicia stared at Parker with a deadpan.
"Get used to it, kid. At least she's going easy on you. Now let's go." Eliot gestured for them to go, with Parker following suit, as soon as she did, the cuffs suddenly dropped from Felicia's wrists. As she rubbed the areas the cuffs irritated, one thing came to mind.
"Did you say "easy"?"
Earth-2196
Chuck had restored the power in this world, allowing magic to be used like usual, and so, Michael was trying to go through the breach, but failing.
"What is the matter?" Chuck asked him, annoyed.
"I am unable to cross this!" Michael snapped.
"You're an Archangel, this should be nothing to you", Chuck snarled at him.
Castiel grunted, trying to break free, though the bonds were too tight for him. But he had to do something. He needed to save his friends. God may be evil, but that didn't mean he should be.
He was still loyal to the kind of God he believed in. That God may not be real, but he believed in the idea now.
The thought gave him strength, and all of a sudden, with a roar, he ripped apart his ropes and staggered up, shocking Gabriel as Chuck and Michael turned around in surprise, while Castiel marched towards them and decked Chuck hard, throwing him to the ground, before grabbing Michael by the throat and lifting him up.
At that moment, Chuck got back up and whacked him hard from behind, making him fall down with a groan as Chuck kicked him hard, breaking his ribs, causing him to gasp, after which Chuck decked his face, making him spit out blood, then he picked Castiel up and threw him to the ground, breaking many bones in his body.
"I shall kill them in front of you, then end the Universe, and then, I shall make you suffer before you die", Chuck snarled at Castiel, who was groaning in pain, bleeding from all over, while Chuck turned around to face the breach, about to go through it.

He grunted, something invisible seeming to stop him in his tracks, as Michael cried out. "Father?"
"What…is this?" Chuck muttered, holding out his hands as he tried to push whatever invisible field was stopping him, but failing. "WHAT IS THIS?"
"I shall help you", Michael said as he rushed towards the breach as well, but rammed into whatever invisible force field there was and it sent him flying back by many feet, before he crashed to the ground, forming a giant crater where he'd fallen, grunting in pain.
"Who is doing this?" Chuck roared as he tried to punch the invisible barrier, only to gasp and hold his own hand in pain. He raised his hand, then snapped his fingers, but nothing happened still. He tried to use his power with his hand raised, and still failed.
Taking a few steps back, Chuck rushed towards the breach, only to be thrown back by many feet too and crash right next to Michael, making an evil larger crater of his own.
"What is going on, Father?" Michael asked Chuck in utter confusion.
"I truly cannot tell", Chuck sighed, looking quite confused himself. "This should not be happening."
"How are you not able to cross it?" Michael inquired.
"I do not know", Chuck admitted.
Earth-3013
"If he was God, would he have not arrived here instantly?" Lord Krishna inquired, causing Sam and Dean to share a look. "That is what God would do after all."
"Maybe there's a problem or something?" Dean asked. "Between the breaches I mean."
"And if he was God, would he have had such a problem?" Lord Krishna asked, surprising the two of them again. They'd been on the run, and then got stuck in another world, so they hadn't really had time to process it yet.
"But he did find us in that other world", Sam pointed out.
"Did he find you immediately though?" Lord Krishna countered with a question of his own at that point, and the brothers were surprised once more as this bit sank in.
"No, he did not, he took a while", Dean had to say, then remembered something. "And Castiel was able to hurt him, even though he should be untouchable now that he has put himself out in the open."
"He is angry that you defied his Plan, I believe", Lord Krishna noted, Sam and Dean both nodding at that.
"Yeah, that got him pissed, he really wanted us dead after that, but he wanted us to suffer first", Dean noted. "Like I said, he is the biggest monster considering he is the one who made all this happen."
"If he was truly God, would you have been able to defy his plan?" Lord Krishna asked at that point.
"Ye….I mean…." Sam trailed off. "Wait, that wouldn't have been possible, would it?"
"The Jedi would not have stayed long in your world if he was powerful enough to send them back", Lord Krishna pointed out. "And if he was God, he would have been."
"So what, you're saying he is not God?" Dean asked, and Lord Krishna. "Then what's the difference between him and God anyways? I mean-"
"There is destiny, yes, but there is also free will. Everyone can choose the path they desire, and it shall fulfill the grand plan in some way at the end of things", Lord Krishna said as he stood up and paced around once more. "There is evil, and there is also good, because both must exist in a balance. However, when evil rises and overpowers good, a culling is needed then, to protect everyone who is good and innocent. This person calling himself God did not provide true free will, for he was enraged when you two made your choices instead of following his plan."
"That is….what does any of that even mean?" Dean inquired, not getting what had been told to him.
"You shall understand in time", Lord Krishna assured Dean, then looked at the brothers once more. "Even if you did not follow his plan, you followed what is righteous, and saved your world."
"But what good would that do if he destroys our world and us in his temper tantrum anyways?" Sam countered with an important question.
"Like I said, good and evil must exist in a balance", Lord Krishna pointed out, then walked to the brothers, putting his hands on their shoulders, smiling at them both. "But remember, you two followed your duty, and did what was right. Even if that meant defying someone who calls himself God, and has some ways of making people think he is too."
"But you are saying he is not", Sam noted. "If its not him, then who is?"
"He is all around us", Lord Krishna said, gesturing everywhere. "In every corner, every particle", he pointed to their hearts, "inside of you, even if you do not feel him."
"That doesn't make any sense!" Dean said. "Wouldn't that mean everyone is God?"
"No, because no one is able to find God inside", Lord Krishna noted, then smiled once more. "But now, I believe it is time for you to help your friends."
"How are we supposed to do that? Chuck and Michael are too powerful", Sam said, Lord Krishna simply shaking his head.
"They are, but you have what they do not- the will to do what is right, and the will to get it done as well."
Suddenly, a breach opened underneath where Sam and Dean were, and they fell into it, the chairs remaining intact somehow.

"So the diamond was meant to fund a bunch of terrorists?"
"Yep." Eliot answered the younger blonde as he drove the two to the airport. "When Parker decided to target Alahi and the Nadan-I-Noor, our geek did a deep dive in case there was anything "hairy" about the guy." Eliot chuckled to himself, only for the older and younger blondes to roll their eyes and scoff. "That was funny."
"If you say so." Parker waved him off.
Grunting, the hitter slowed to a stop and parked. "The diamond would have bought missiles for an Afghani terrorist group. But with Alahi's credibility ruined now, along with his network falling apart after a few calls, that ship has sailed and sunk. So congratulations," Eliot looked at Felicia, "first job and you helped put down some terrorists."
Felicia felt her lips curl up and began to smile. A beaming sight for anyone who saw it. Pride began to fill her.
"Now let's hope she doesn't make any impulsive, hairbrained schemes in the future."
That pride died as she deadpanned her teacher.
Eliot, on the other hand, laughed at the irony. "You're one to talk."
"Shut up."
"What's he talking about?"
"Get out of the car." Parker ordered immediately. Felicia opened her mouth, but the dreaded finger point was inches from her face again. Rolling her eyes, the teenager from New York grabbed her bag and opened the door, but not before looking at Eliot. "Thanks, by the way, for helping out."
"My pleasure, kid." Eliot smiled back at her until she closed the door and walked inside, that was when his smile dropped and he looked at Parker. "We need to talk."
"About…?" Parker's confusion honestly worried the former contractor.
"Did you not see what she nearly did to Alahi?" Eliot gestured to the girl currently inside the airport. "She nearly caved his head in."
"She was defending herself. The guy took her hostage and threatened her."
"You may think she has talent, but that doesn't mean she's ready for this life. Not mentally." Eliot tried to stress to his teammate, someone he'd call family. Felicia did not look like someone ready to stop.
Parker however glared at the hitter. "Felicia is my student. I'll know if she's ready or not."
Eliot tried to speak, but Parker was already out the door and shutting it behind her. Knowing his words would only go in one ear and out the other, the ex-soldier hoped that his fears didn't come true anytime soon. Either way, both he and Hardison would be keeping an eye on the fledgling thief. For her sake, and Parker's.
Reaching into his pocket, Eliot pulled out the shiny rock this whole mess began with. "Now, what to do with you?"
Earth-1, Central City
Virgil Hawkins was walking home after school, having parted ways from Richie whose home came before his own on the way.
He'd to get home quickly, due to being grounded by his dad, and there wasn't much he could do about it as of now.
But there was another thought in his mind. He, Richie, Daisy and Frieda had recently made a new friend named Jimmy Osgood, who'd been going through the ringer due to a bunch of bullies lead by this jerk called Nick Connor. No one had been able to speak up on it either.
They'd broken the mouse he used for his laptop. Like, where was Eagle-Eyed Coleman when you needed her? Him and Richie, as well as Daisy and Frieda, had befriended the guy, having him around at the shelter sometimes, with Richie giving him a new mouse when he and Virgil had once visited the guy at his home.
There he'd shown them some cool stuff in his room, but he also had a gun his dad had bought for protection, and him calling it cool had made Virgil storm out before Jimmy even tried to show it to him or Richie.
However, just today, Nick and his buddies had chased Jimmy around, then grabbed and shoved him into the locker simply for talking to Frieda.
If Virgil and Richie hadn't arrived at the last moment, no one would have even known that Jimmy had gotten thrown into the locker, while Nick and his buddies clearly had no intention of letting him out.
Virgil and Richie had freed Jimmy, and he'd run off in tears after that, Frieda angrily calling Nick and his buddies creeps. Virgil hoped he'd calmed down and gotten better after reaching home.
Suddenly, he saw a fireman's vehicle passing him by, and then another, looking ahead to see a building on fire.
Wanting to do something good again after a while, and hoping to get his mind off of the mess with Jimmy, Virgil ran to the alley, and opening up his schoolbag, quickly changed into Static Shock.
With that, he hopped onto his saucer, and flew forth, getting closer to the building, when suddenly, a breach opened before him.
"Oh come on!" He groaned, unable to dodge as he ended up going into it, and saw various images.
First, he saw a young boy, slightly older than him perhaps with slicked-back hair, in a green jumpsuit with golden buttons, pointing his finger at someone like it was a gun.
Then, he saw a muscular Indian man with a gun, running forth and doing a flip.
After that, he saw a blonde muscular man in a blue suit that had red and white stripes, with yellow gauntlets, and his hair were up in a weird way.
Next up, he saw a dark-skinned man in a black trenchoat wearing shades, holding a sword.
Then, he saw a man in a green and black suit with a mask, having a symbol like a lantern on his chest, flying around as he fired a green beam with a green ring he had.
After that, he saw a rather skinny boy wearing a white shirt that was tucked in, with medium-length straight brown hair and grey-blue eyes.
Then, he saw a strange man with a cloak, the lower part of his suit resembling a skirt that Greek men wore.
And lastly, he saw what looked like Batman, but he seemed older, and much more muscular than the one on the news.
Then, Virgil suddenly found himself in a completely different city, and looked around, very confused. "Where am I?" He groaned. "This is trippy, man." He looked around and again and saw a sign that said…..Freeland, Georgia?
"What is this place now?" He wondered. He'd never heard of Freeland before, and how the heck was he in Georgia of all places?
BOOM!
Hearing that, Virgil turned around, still in the air, and saw trouble at the bank in front of him, people getting on their knees in fear, and so, he flew towards there now.
Getting into the bank, Virgil was shocked to see a bald man carrying a large gun, and he looked exactly like Heat Wave!
"Now you all are gonna stay like this until Black Lightning comes, and I take him down!" The man was ranting to all of the hostages.
Virgil wondered who was Black Lightning, then decided it didn't matter, and called out. "Yo! Heat Wave! Over here!"
"Who the hell is Heat Wave?" The man asked, confused, as he turned to look at Static. "Name's Wardog!"
"…Eh?" Virgil asked, clearly confused too, as was this Wardog guy.
"Are you Black Lightning?" Wardog then asked Virgil, seeing electricity crackling off of him.
"Uh, no I'm not! Who is that?" Virgil asked. "And really, you wanna kill him but have not even seen him? Real smart there, Wardog, real smart!"
"I'm guessing you're his son or something", Wardog decided. "Where is he?"
Virgil wasn't Black Lightning's son, but decided to just roll with it all for now. "I've no idea where he is, but right now, you're dealing with me!"
A voice suddenly called out behind Virgil. "I got this under control, kid."
Virgil turned around to see a tall, black man wearing an outfit that was similar to his own in some ways. Staring at him for a few seconds, Virgil came to a realization. "So….you're Black Lightning, aren't you?"
"Yeah, that'd be me, who're you?" Black Lightning then asked Virgil.
"I'm Static Shock", Virgil replied hovering higher. "So, you got electric powers and all?"
"I do, and looks like you do too", Black Lightning noted, then glared at Wardog. "Stay back, kid, I got this."
"Hey, don't take all the glory, I've fought bad guys too, old man", Static Shock said in reply, Black Lightning sighing, then shrugging.
"Stop talking and fight me!" Wardog yelled, about to fire at the two electricity-powered metas, only for Virgil to fire a blast of electricity that hit his gun, throwing it off, and then Black Lightning ran up to Wardog, punching him so hard he was knocked out.
"Well….." Virgil trailed off as Black Lightning turned to him. "That was…"
"Anti-climactic?"
"That's the word I had in mind", Virgil agreed, when they heard police sirens blaring, and nodded at each other, deciding their work here was done.
Middle-earth, Rivendell
"Where have those two gone off to now?" Sam asked with a groan, him and Frodo looking around in some concern.
"We need to find them, for we are to finish preparations and set out soon", Frodo said grimly, when he suddenly slipped and fell forth…into a breach that had opened up out of nowhere.
"Mr. Frodo!" Sam cried out, running after him, as both ended up in the breach.
Earth-92, Sunnydale, graveyard
Buffy kicked a Vampire away, then held up her crossbow, firing a bolt that hit its chest, dusting it, while Willow and Tara chanted together, causing two Vampires to burn instantly, Dawn staking another out, while Xander was pinned down by one, but staked it as well, turning it into dust.
"I think that's all of 'em", Xander said, standing up, the Scoobies looking around one more time before deciding that they were done with Vampires for tonight.
"Let's get back to the Magic Box then", Buffy suggested, all of them preparing to move away.
At that moment, a portal suddenly opened right in front of them, and to their horror, a creepy, pale ghostly woman crawled out of it, her hair long and dark, blood oozing out of her body, and she produced a rattling sound when she opened her mouth.
Seeing her, all of them immediately froze, as if struck by fear.
"What…the Hell is that thing?" Xander let out, the woman crawling towards them while contorting her body in creepy ways, producing literal bone-cracking sounds, while staring right at Buffy with a tilted head.
"I dunno, it looks like it knows me or something", Buffy muttered, very creeped out too, and finding herself struck by an aura of fear as well.
"Well, I mean, you're the Slayer", Dawn whispered. "All Demons know about you."
"Yeah, but the way this thing is looking at me….its like it knows me personally or something", Buffy pointed out, the ghostly woman reaching closer, cracking more bones, the Scoobies unsettled but ready to try and fight back…when a portal opened to the side!
Frodo and Sam staggered out of it, the latter asking. "Did we travel to another world through a pathway, Mr. Frodo?"
"From what Gandalf and Aragorn told us, I believe we did, Sam", Frodo said in response, looking around at the graves. "It seems this is a place where the dead are laid to rest."
The ghostly woman then turned to them, producing the rattling sound once more, causing Frodo and Sam to notice her, the latter saying. "Mr. Frodo, look."
"She does not look….well", Frodo noted, shivering a bit, his hand on Sting now, while she turned back to the Scoobies, crawling at them really fast.
"We should help them!" Sam cried out, Frodo nodding, the former taking out his Barrow-blade while Frodo drew Sting at the same time, the Scoobies amazed at the fact that Frodo and Sam were not frozen.
With roars, they charged the ghostly woman and swung their blades at the same time. Her head was chopped off by Sting, and her body was cut into two by the Barrow-blade.
As all of them watched, the ghostly body faded away into nothingness, the Scoobies suddenly feeling relieved, as Sam noted. "She must be like those Barrow-downs, Mr. Frodo."
Hearing the sound of footsteps, the Hobbits turned around to see a Vampire in Vamp face running at them, only for Buffy to fire a bolt that hit its chest, dusting it instantly.
"He looked just like Spike", Frodo had to say, and then the ears of the Scoobies perked up on hearing his name.
Willow and Tara asked in unison. "You know Spike?"
"Yes we do", Frodo said with a nod.
"Mr. Frodo, I and some more were on an important Quest", Sam explained, omitting the really revealing details already. "We met Spike on the way, he helped us a few times even when he didn't have to, like trying to save us from these Barrow-downs."
"I was poisoned by a poisoned blade, and Spike sucked some of the blood out of me", Frodo added, amazing the Scoobies at what they'd just heard.
"You sure we talking about the same Spike?" Xander asked, only to get a look from Tara. "Sorry!"
Dawn muttered. "Maybe me and Spike both grew up during our time away then."
Buffy thought about what she'd just been told. Spike had helped these…..little people (they were as short as children, but their faces were clearly adult), even when he didn't need to, and sucking out poisoned blood…..that definitely said a lot to her.
Maybe he did have a heart after all. It didn't beat, but it did feel.
"Either way, thank you for helping us out", Willow thanked the Hobbits. "I'm Willow, this is Tara", Tara waved at them, "Xander", Xander gave a nod, "Buffy, and her sister Dawn", Buffy gave a nod, and Dawn waved cheerfully.
"Your names are Frodo and Sam, aren't they?" Tara inquired, the two nodding.
"And we are at your service", they both said together, charming the Scoobies.
"Like Willow said, thanks for the help", Xander added.
"Oh yeah, the ghost woman was freaking us out, but you two showed her", Buffy agreed with a smile.
"We need to return now", Frodo said, taking out the extrapolator he had. "I hope we meet again someday."
"Yeah, same here", Dawn replied, Frodo opening a breach, as he and Sam stepped into it, returning to Rivendell while it closed.
"That was…something", Xander commented, all of them starting to walk back now, Buffy still thinking of what Frodo and Sam had said about Spike.
Earth-38, Freeland
Static Shock and Black Lightning were on top of a building now, the former still on his saucer as he was saying. "Man, I'd no idea there was a super-powered hero around older than Flash, and even older than Green Arrow. Plus, with electric powers like me!"
"Who exactly are these Flash and Green Arrow?" Black Lightning asked, only confusing Virgil now.
"Wait, you've never heard of them?" Virgil inquired, and Black Lightning shook his head.
"I don't think so. Nowadays there's only Superman and Supergirl", Black Lightning shrugged. "For the most part that is. And Supergirl in National City is new."
Superman? Supergirl? National City? What was even going on now?
Getting an idea, Virgil then asked. "Who are the oldest superheroes you know?"
"Batman and Superman", Black Lightning revealed, and Virgil suddenly thought back to the older and beefier Batman he'd seen before ending up in Freeland.
He'd looked nothing like the Batman on the news. Then he remembered he'd read a book regarding different Universes once. Now he was hearing of places like Freeland and National City, which he'd never heard of before, as well as superheroes like Superman and Supergirl, whom he also didn't know about, while Batman looked totally different.
Oh shoot! Other Universes were real, and he was in one of them!
Seeing his face, Black Lightning asked. "You alright?"
"No, I don't think so", Virgil said, shaking his head, when suddenly, there was a gust of wind, and Flash appeared near them, to Black Lightning's shock.
"Flash!" Virgil cried out happily. "You came here! Nice to see ya! How did you reach here?" His eyes widened. "And what about the fire?"
"I was on my way to take care of it when I saw you ending up in that breach accidentally", Barry revealed to Virgil. "I first helped take care of the fire, then I tracked you down….and here we are. Lucky for you, I'm one of the experts on this matter."
"So, you're the Flash this kid mentioned?" Black Lightning asked Barry, who turned to him.
"Yeah, that'd be me, and you are?" Barry inquired.
"Black Lightning."
"Nice to meet you, Black Lightning", Barry said, holding out his hand that Black Lightning shook.
"You too", he said, then looked between him and Virgil. "Where did you two come from?"
"Well, as hard as it is to believe, me and Static here are…..from another Earth!" Barry revealed, Black Lightning's jaw dropping.
"Another Earth? There are other Earths?!" He asked in shock.
"Something I just figured out myself", Virgil had to say. "Real trippy stuff here, man. Like…whoa!"
"I know", Barry told Virgil, then turned to Black Lightning. "There are countless Earths all occupying the same Space and vibrating at different frequencies, which is why we can't visit the others. But the barriers have broken down recently, so anyone can pass between Universes. So, the Multiverse is real."
Black Lightning rubbed his head, looking overwhelmed. "This all…its just too much, man. Too crazy."
"I get it, man", Barry assured him. "I guess its time to head back now, for me and Static."
"Right", Black Lightning sighed, recovering himself, then looked at Virgil. "Kid, do your parents know what you're up to?" He thought of his older daughter, remembering how he'd felt out what she did as Thunder, before accepting it.
"Umm….no, not really", Virgil shook his head.
"Right", Black Lightning shrugged. "Well, even if they don't know, I do, and I think you're doing really good."
Virgil beamed with pride. "Thanks, Black Lightning, sir." He then added. "And its nice to see this city on this Earth has a superhero to look up to, a black one at that too. You're another hero I look up to now."
"There's a cool black superhero on your Earth as well", Black Lightning added with a smile, looking at Static Shock. "And he is my hero too."
Happily, both Static Shock and Black Lightning shook hands one last time, the latter then sharing a nod with Flash, who then grasped Virgil and sped off, opening a breach as he ran, and speeding through, back to Central City on Earth-1.
He let Virgil go, as he muttered. "Whoa! That is still cool!" He looked at Barry. "Other Universes, huh? Trippy and fun stuff there, man."
"I know, Static", Barry assured him. "Be in this life long enough, you'll get used to the crazy too." He smiled. "See ya." With that, he sped off.
"See ya", Virgil muttered too, then suddenly remembered something. "I'm grounded!" Running to the alley, he found his bag was still there, fortunately, and quickly changed back into his normal clothes.
Earth-2196
Chuck and Michael were looking into the breach again, when all of a sudden, Chuck fell right into it, and as Michael tried to follow, the invisible force field returned and threw him off by many feet, and this time when he fell and formed a crater, he was knocked out.
Sam and Dean fell back into this world at that moment, right next to where Castiel lay, and saw him lying there, wounded and bleeding.
"Cass!" Dean cried out, kneeling near him, holding him up. "Cass, come on! CASS!"
Castiel's eyes opened, and he saw Dean. "Dean…..that you?"
Sam was near Gabriel, and had just cut him open, wondering how his knife had gotten past the ropes conjured by Chuck.
Gabriel stood up and ripped off the gag on his mouth. "Ah Sam, Dean, so you didn't follow the Plan and now things have gone to crap, eh?"
"You wanna say something? Say it later!" Dean snapped at him.
"I mean, would there be a later?" Gabriel asked. "Since Dad is angry and all that, and when he comes back, he will destroy us all."
"Doesn't mean we need to make it easy for him", Dean snarled, then looked at Castiel. "Hey man, can you walk?"
"…..a little bit", Castiel groaned.
"Okay then, come on", Dean put Castiel's arm over himself to support the Angel, and then stood up, walking forth with the wounded Castiel.
"Where do we even go?" Gabriel asked. "There is nowhere to go. You're not thinking it through, are you? What's the point even? Dad is the worst one of all and he is….well, Dad."
"As long as we can do anything, we will do it", Sam told Gabriel. "If you want to join us, you're welcome to. If you don't want to join us, then shut up."
"Oh you still got your mouth", Gabriel had to say. "Oh well, I'm the Trickster still. Maybe I can try to trick him one last time."
Earth-1, Central City, Hawkins House
Virgil was back home at last, and saw his father was already standing outside, looking displeased.
"Uh….dad….I can explain…." Virgil started thinking of an excuse.
"Why you're one whole hour late in coming back?" Robert asked in disappointment, Virgil sighing.
"Umm….well…."
"I love you, son, but this attitude needs to change. You're grounded for another month now", Robert revealed, shocking Virgil.
"Dad, come on, this is not-"
"Show me the change, and I'll unground you", Robert shrugged, walking inside, as Virgil sighed and followed him, closing the door behind, Robert gave him one more look and walked off, as Virgil walked past the kitchen, where Sharon was cooking, or probably trying to.
"I know you're in the rebellious teenage phase and all that, but I think its best you stop trying dad's patience", Sharon told Virgil. "You see how bad it keeps getting?"
"Yeah, I see it", Virgil groaned, knowing he couldn't tell the truth without revealing his identity now. Best to let them think he was going through a rebellious, delinquent phase.
Earth-3013
Chuck fell onto the floor now, then picked himself up, looking before him to see Lord Krishna standing there.
Mahabharat 2013 Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya plays
"Who are you?" Chuck asked with a snarl, as he and Lord Krishna stood face-to-face, Chuck looking angry, and Lord Krishna having a very calm smile on his face.
"You do not know?" Lord Krishna inquired in mock surprise. "I thought you should, considering you have been impersonating me for so long."
That caused Chuck's eyes to widen in horror, and for the first time since The Darkness had been sealed, he felt the ground shifting from underneath his feet.
"You are…" he trailed off. "You….."
"Yes I am", Lord Krishna simply said.
Chuck seemed to recognize who he was from his getup finally. "But aren't you supposed to be a Pagan God?"
"According to who? You?" Lord Krishna shrugged. "Because of the various copies you created…of all of us, the Angels, every god in existence."
"But you don't look like what God should!" Chuck snapped.
"And you believe you know how he should?" Lord Krishna asked with a smile once more, then paced around, raising his hands to either side. "I have many forms! And I am known to many religions and sects, on Earths and beyond, by many names! Christians call me God! Jews call me Yahweh! Hindus call me Brahman! The people of Arda call me Eru Ilúvatar! But no matter what name they use, every religion and world knows me in some way or the other."
"Then why are you in this form?" Chuck asked.
"As I said, it is one of the many, for the Trimurti and Tridevi are just different forms of One", Lord Krishna revealed. "And this Earth is new, hence this form is needed on here."
"You mean, it was just formed?" Chuck inquired.
Mahabharat 2013 Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya plays
"No, it has been a long time now, but it is new compared to the others. The Kurukshetra War has just ended a few months ago here", Lord Krishna revealed, to Chuck's shock. "Once upon a time, I brought the Multiverse into existence with one word, and the Great Music then made all possible. But new Universes are always formed. During this time, on one Earth, I have created humanity, on another, I have spoken to Moses via the burning bush, and on another, I have commanded Noah to build his Ark. Somewhere else, I have shaped dust into the form of man, while in another Universe, I have just slain Ravana."
"Tell me, what is the difference between you and me then?" Chuck inquired.
"If you are looking for the simple answer, then the difference is you are an Imp", Lord Krishna said, to Chuck's horror. How did he know that? That couldn't be! No one could know!
But if he was who he said he was….oh no!
"And unlike you, I do provide true free will", Lord Krishna continued. "There is a destiny, yes. But no matter what path someone takes, it benefits the grand plan in some form or another. If I want, I can influence the sun to set a few minutes later, but I can never influence the mind of a living being."
"But….we're better than them! We are their creators!" Chuck snapped angrily. "They should not defy us! If they do, they should be punished!"
"And this is why you are not God", Lord Krishna told Chuck while shaking his head. "You wanted to be like me, so you abducted Castiel and brainwashed him into finding out the secrets of Creation, then created so many Universes, and abandoned them all for they did not reach up to your expectations. Then you created the Universe with the real Winchesters, as you call them, and considered it perfect…..until the Singularity opened, and then they did not do what you wanted, so now you want it to be destroyed as well."
He turned back around to Chuck. "If you had taken a deep look within yourself, you would have found me there. But in wanting to be me, you have invited your death for yourself, and now you shall bear the fruit of your actions."
"So you'll kill me then? How petty!" Chuck scoffed.
"No, I shall not", Lord Krishna said, shocking Chuck once more. "It is not I who has to do it. I only wanted to tell you what you did wrong."
"Why should I believe you are the real God anyways? You could just be another faker!" Chuck snarled, and Lord Krishna simply gave a smile.
Mahabharat 2013 Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya plays
At that moment, a shockwave as well as bright light emanated from him, making Chuck avert his gaze, and Lord Krishna seemed to grow in size, slowly getting bigger, his shape and form becoming incomprehensible to Chuck.
Chuck tried to look at it, but all he saw was a giant figure coated with a divine, bright light, and he could not make out what lay beyond the light.
"If you were good in your heart and believed, you would have been able to see Me still. But you are not good in your heart, and because of that, even with all that power, you are unable to comprehend Me."
Chuck fell down, crawling back in terror at the sight before him, one that he could not even see.
Mahabharat 2013 Shri Krishna Govinda Hare Murari plays
The light slowly faded, and the figure became shorter, until Lord Krishna stood there once more in his usual appearance.
"Now you know the truth, Chuck."
And then, a breach opened underneath Chuck, causing him to fall down through it.
Earth-1, Central City, Hawkins House
Virgil was on the phone with Richie, having just told him of the trip to the other world.
"Whoa! So the Multiverse is a thing and Flash knows about it. Cool, man."
"So cool", Virgil agreed with a smile, which turned into a frown. "What's not cool is I'm grounded for even longer than before."
"Sorry to hear that, man."
"Its fine", Virgil told him, then asked. "Did you hear anything from Jimmy after the incident earlier today?"
It was pin-drop silence for almost 10 seconds before…
"Nadda."
Virgil sighed, looking ahead. "This has me worried." He added. "See ya later, man."
"You too."
The call was cut as Virgil made a decision, and got out of his room, knocking at his dad's door. 2 seconds later, Robert opened it, still looking stern. "If this is about the grounding, my decision is-"
"No, dad, its not that. There's this kid at school, Jimmy, who gets bullied by this jerk called Nick and his buddies a lot", Virgil said sadly. "They shoved him into a locker today and he ran off in tears after Richie and I got him out."
Robert was horrified as well as disgusted at the same time on hearing about what the poor kid had been put through, though he was glad that his son and Richie had helped out at least.
"Okay…" Robert trailed off, letting Virgil know he could continue.
"I'm just worried about him. Can we visit his house tomorrow?" Virgil asked. "And no, this is not me trying to get around the grounding, I am really worried about him. I want you to come with me and talk to Jimmy in fact. Bring Uncle Joe too if you can. Please?"
Robert could tell from Virgil's face and tone that this wasn't some ploy to escape his grounding. He was genuinely worried about Jimmy.
"Sure son, tomorrow the two of us and your uncle Joe shall drop by Jimmy's place", Robert assured Virgil, who sighed in relief.
"Thanks dad."
If Virgil had known the future at that point, the relief would have been very, very short-lived.
Earth-2196
Gabriel was making a new spell, and had just finished it up. "Well, here goes!"
"You don't know where it will take us?" Sam inquired.
"Nah", Gabriel shook his head. "But anywhere is better than here, especially when Dad returns."
"Well, he makes a good point", Dean shrugged, then turned to Castiel. "Cass?"
"Let's….go", Castiel groaned, when suddenly, Chuck crashed near them, forming a huge crater.
"Oh no!" Gabriel groaned. "Come on!"
Chuck stood up, then looked at Michael, who got up at that point due to his influence, the two now glaring at Sam, Dean, Castiel and Gabriel.
"Now I shall not spare a bone in your body!" Chuck roared as he and Michael moved towards them, only for Gabriel to chant something as a light covered them all.
"What?" Chuck asked in shock, as the light faded, and they were all gone.
Earth-1, Central City
The car stopped near Jimmy's house as Virgil, Robert and Joe walked out, seeing Jimmy's father dusting his car outside, Virgil asking. "Hey Mr. Osgood, Jimmy home?"
"He was up in his room last I looked", Mr. Osgood replied, looking at his watch.
"Its important, Virgil here needs to talk to him", Joe said urgently, Virgil walking inside, his father and uncle staying behind to talk with Jimmy's dad.
Virgil walked upstairs and knocked at Jimmy's door. "Hey Jimmy, its me, Virgil!" There was no answer, so Virgil turned the doorknob, finding it open, and saw Jimmy's laptop was on too, a screensaver displaying on it, of some explosions.
"Weird screensaver", Virgil muttered, walking forth as he moved the mouse a little, opening the laptop's screen to reveal a document with the title 'Battle Journal' on there!
"'Battle Journal'?" Virgil said in shock, sitting down as he read through. "'All I wanted was to be left alone, and they wouldn't even do that! They had to hurt me, humiliate me! Well, it ends today. I'm putting a stop to them, once and for all.'"
Gasping, Virgil stood up, the sudden movement pushing the chair back as he ran downstairs and out, calling the three adults. "You got to come upstairs right now!"
Jimmy's father read through the 'Battle Journal', Virgil saying. "I'm afraid he's gonna hurt somebody."
"He'd never do that", Mr. Osgood said, closing the laptop, but the others weren't convinced. "He doesn't mean it."
"Just because he normally won't doesn't mean he can't", Joe pointed out. "One of the kindest people I know wanted to kill someone because he'd killed her father, and only got talked out of it at the last moment. This is concerning."
"Your son is depressed, Mr. Osgood", Robert agreed, looking out the window. "This is not something I'd dismiss either. Your son needs help."
"Pops, uncle Joe, Jimmy showed me where he could get a gun", Virgil revealed.
"My gun's somewhere safe where Jimmy can't reach it", Mr. Osgood assured, taking out the keyring, only for his expression to deflate. "Oh my God!" He rushed towards a drawer in the other room, the other three following him as he opened it, and was horrified. "Its gone! The gun's gone!"
"What were you thinking, having a handgun in the house where a kid could get to it?" Robert asked in disbelief.
"I can book you for this kind of negligence", Joe pointed out, Mr. Osgood gulping.
"I'm sorry, I never thought he'd…."
"The kids who were hassling Jimmy might be down at the shelter", Virgil then said.
"We got to get down there", Robert decided, about to run.
"Yeah, I'm calling some cop cars there too", Joe added, dialing on his phone as Robert walked out, Joe a little behind him, because he planned to call Flash as well.
"Wait for me!" Virgil called out as Mr. Osgood started following them too.
"No, you go home, son", Robert said immediately.
"Yes, your father, Jimmy's father, I and the cops will handle it", Joe added as they all walked downstairs, got in the car and drove away, leaving Virgil behind.
In the car, Joe's eyes widened. "Wally is there too!"
"Oh boy!" Robert said in horror.
Robert's shelter
Jimmy angrily marched into the shelter, as Nick's buddies Kevin and Ray saw him, the latter muttering. "Look who's here."
Nick saw him too and quipped. "Hey Jimmy, forgot something in your locker?"
"Nick, that's enough!" Frieda said angrily.
"Okay, sorry", Nick replied, not sounding sorry at all.
At that moment, Jimmy suddenly took out a gun, to the horror of all, as Nick gasped in terror. "What's that?"
Jimmy aimed at him. "It's a gun, Nick!"
"Jimmy, you don't need to do this", Daisy tried to reason with him.
"I do!" Jimmy snapped.
"Hey, put it down! Its not funny!" Nick said, raising his hands.
"Lots of things aren't funny. Breaking my laptop's mouse wasn't funny." Tears were streaming down Jimmy's face. "Shoving me into the locker wasn't funny!"
"I…you're right, it wasn't", Nick said desperately, trying to save his skin. "I'm sorry, man!"
"No you're not", Jimmy said in anger.
"Jimmy, don't do this!" Frieda cried out.
"Yeah, he is not worth it. You'll ruin your life", Daisy added.
"They're both right." Richie stepped in, trying to deescalate the situation, hands raised. "You're upset about this right now, but next week, would it even matter?"
"I get it, Jimmy, I do", Wally added, also walking up next to Richie. "You're angry, you're lashing out, you want them to feel what you feel, but it won't make it better. Its gonna make this worse."
"Yes, Jimmy. Don't waste your whole life over this", Richie added.
Jimmy was still crying, his hands shaking. But slowly, steadily, he lowered the gun, as Wally, Richie, Frieda and Daisy sighed in relief.
"Get 'em!"
The relief was instantly gone as Kevin and Ray rushed Jimmy from behind, and as he turned around, they tackled him to the ground.
BANG!
The gun went off right before Jimmy lost grip of it.
"AAAAAAAAAAAARGHHH!" Richie fell to the ground, holding his wounded leg in agony. "AAAAH!"
Everyone's eyes were wide, Daisy gasping, while Wally looked between the injured Richie, and the three bullies in utter shock, just as Flash sped in, having been a bit late due to stopping a bank robbery. Static Shock flew in after him.
Flash first saw the gun and sped to it, picking it up and emptying it within half a second. Static flew to Richie, who was still holding his leg. "It hurts! Its not like on TV!"
Flash rushed to him too, Wally kneeling nearby, while Richie continued to scream.
"I'll get him to the hospital", Flash said, picking Richie up gently, before speeding off.
"No….no…" Jimmy trailed off, crying even more now, having a breakdown on the spot as he curled into a fetus. He'd been calmed down….and then the gun had gone off, and one of his few friends, who'd given him a new mouse for his laptop, had been injured!
With his own gun!
It was supposed to be for Nick, Kevin and Ray! Not Richie! He was a friend, not an enemy!
This should not have happened! Why did the gun go off on Richie? Why couldn't a gun differentiate? Why had he even tried this in the first place?
Wally clutched his fists, then turning to Nick, decked him hard, sending him to the floor, holding his face in pain. "See what you did? Someone could have died, all because you couldn't let up on your bullying of that kid!"
Ray started. "We tried to disarm-"
They were cut off when Wally shoved both of them to the wall, his hands on their chests, as they gasped in fear on looking into the rage in his eyes.
"No, Richie and I'd talked him down, he'd lowered his gun. You two tried to play hero, but you were just being stupid. He brought in the gun, but he wasn't alone in firing it!" Wally snarled in anger. "You two aren't tough guys, you're just cowards! Do you feel tough now? DO YOU?!"
Wally had seen actual tough guys during his drag racing stint, and he himself was taking out a lot of his frustration when he used to do that.
Seeing the rage in his eyes, both of them crumpled to the floor in fear, shivering, as Wally turned around, sharing a nod with Static Shock, as cops cars were heard, and soon Joe, Patty, Lloyd, and other cops were there, as well as Robert.
"What happened?" Joe asked, before they saw Jimmy crying in the corner.
"Jimmy was stopped but….." Wally gave a scathing look to Kevin and Ray, who averted their gaze in fear and shame. "The gun went off because of these two idiots. Richie got injured."
Words couldn't describe the horror on the faces of both Robert and Joe.
Then, recovering himself, Joe walked to the three bullies. "You're under arrest for assault." With that, he, Lloyd and one more cop started cuffing the three bullies and reading them their rights.
Patty knelt near the crying Osgood, mixed about the situation, including his actions, but knowing he needed some comfort in this moment. "You were stressed and pressured, you made an honest mistake. They will see it."
The World Between Worlds
It was as if he was walking among the stars. A vast void of darkness littered by dots of flight out in the distance. Beneath Plo Koon's feet, a path similar to light bridges, began to curve and descend the further It went. Along the path were doorways, similar in design to the one Plo and the baby entered.
"This place…as if we have joined the Force itself." Plo said in awe. There was no light or dark, there was only the Force. Pure, ancient, balanced Force. He did not think he would ever experience such a feeling until he left his physical form to join the Cosmic Force like many Jedi before him.
There were many more paths than the one he stood upon. Countless others, with even more doorways. Plo walked further down the path to look into another door, and his protective goggles widened. A young man stood upon a planet he did not recognize, but that did not matter, what mattered was the immense power he radiated, cloaked within the Dark Side. It matched that of a Jedi Master. Yet, he sensed no ill intent. The Kel Dor, with his young charge on his back curiously gazing at the world around him, watched as the young man raised his hands to the descending star destroyer and pulled it down, forcing the ship to crash on the surface below him.
Plo Koon walked further onwards, and yet another powerful presence emanated from a doorway. A young man with blonde hair in robes befitting a Jedi, teaching the Force to a variety of students of different species and age. Whereas the young man from before felt like a storm, raw, chaotic, this Jedi was calm and shone bright like a star.
"What am I seeing?" The Jedi Master wondered aloud, before looking at his companion over his shoulder. "Any thoughts, little one?" Connor could only babble as he reached out to one of the other paths. Plo Koon chuckled, "I suppose that is the best answer I could hope for." However, the way the boy focused on another path, it gave Plo Koon a curious thought as he walked back away from where he once was before.
Walking a fair distance compared to before, the Jedi General looked at another door and could not contain his shock. "Tython?"
The Jedi Temple of Tython, once the home of their order for thousands of years, abandoned soon after the New Sith Wars. Only here, it was bursting with life, as if the Jedi Order had returned.
"Or have they ever left?" Plo Koon looked further down the path again to the doors from earlier. He recognized neither of the men, but they were trained in the ways of the Force, the second man was clearly a Jedi Master. And now this doorway to Tython. Could it be…both the future and the past? Doorways through time. And yet, as Plo Koon looked at the millions or more pathways, the young one still called out to another. "I wonder…" The Kel Dor channeled the Force in his legs and leapt to another platform. He felt the same pull as before, but stronger now. Looking into the closest doorway, he found a strange sight.
A red-haired young boy with some sort of sword in his hand.
Plo Koon walked forth, looking through another door to see a woman with short, red hair, and another with longer, dark blue hair, the latter seeming to be in more formal clothes.
And then, he walked further, looking through another doorway to see a group of people, with their leader being a man with rich dark brown hair, and next to him stood a dark-skinned woman, a blonde man to her side. To the leader's another side was an exotic-looking woman, with a studious looking man next to her, and then an old man to his side. He was followed by a young, studious looking woman, and a large man was at the end of it. And at the end of the other side was a young girl. Even from here, Plo Koon felt something from her. The group was inside a spaceship. Connor made a small sound but nothing more.
They were close, the Jedi realized.
On the fourth try, the little one finally cried out, and Plo Koon could see why. He sensed a connection between Connor, and the door before him, where a horrid creature with horns and jagged fangs roared at a group of humans and one green skinned being. Drawing his lightsaber, Plo Koon leapt through and acted quickly.
Earth-1, Central City, Hawkins House
Virgil was in his room, still thinking about the events of the previous day, when there was a knock.
"Can I come in?"
"Yes."
The door opened, Robert walking in. "Had a call with Joe. Jimmy will be put in juvie, alongside some community, and will also get therapy. Nick, Kevin and Ray are in juvie too." On seeing Virgil's horrified look, he added. "Not the same one, theirs is in Star City."
Virgil nodded, Robert asking. "You wanna talk about it, son?"
"I wish I could have done something", Virgil admitted, wiping a tear as Robert sat next to him.
"We all blame ourselves, son", Robert pointed out, not knowing Virgil as Static had been at the area after all.
"I just…I'm mad at Jimmy for shooting Richie. I'm mad at Nick and his buddies for messing with Jimmy. And I'm mad at myself because I didn't do a thing when I first heard of the gun! And I'm mad at everyone, including myself, because we didn't speak up sooner!" Virgil snapped, Robert putting a hand to his shoulder.
"I know, mistakes were made on all sides", Robert agreed. "But doing this won't help."
"How could this even happen? Richie was his friend", Virgil trailed off.
"Bullets don't differentiate between friends and enemies, son", Robert pointed out, Virgil nodding.
"The school says I've to go to counselling….as well as everyone else connected to the incident, including Daisy and Frieda", Virgil sighed, standing up, hating that something like this had happened.
But this meant that now, he'd to be more vigilant of such situations.
"I told you that you're grounded till there is a change in attitude", Robert said, then looked at Virgil with pride. "You were proactive in trying to stop the shooting before it even happened, and because of you, Joe and I found out about this mess in time. You showed good response time and a lot of maturity for someone your age, son."
Virgil turned around to look at his father. "Meaning?"
"You're ungrounded", Robert said, walking up to his son and giving him a hug, Virgil returning it, unshed tears in both their eyes.
Smallville, Kansas
"Honey, lets go." Sandra urged Connor as she finished paying the bill, plus a tip, after another round of delicious IHOP pancakes. Despite the near-death experience after moving the Smallville, the Hawkes began to settle in comfortably into the small, quiet town. Everybody knew each other, helped each other, and usually said 'hi' as they passed you in the street. Sandra thought places like this had died out.
"Yeah, yeah." Connor said as he shouldered his bag.
"Don't "yeah, yeah" me." The mom got her son from under the armpits and tickled.
"Mom!" Connor exclaimed in embarrassment despite his laughing along with her. The sudden movement caused the action figure in his unzipped bag to fallout, unseen by the duo as they passed through the door, held open by a tall, muscular man in glasses.
"Thank you." Sandra said as she passed him.
"My pleasure." The man said as closed the door behind them. He was about to wave at the waitress, Megan, when he noticed toy on the floor.
Sandra pulled out the keys for her car when she heard, "Excuse me!" The mother and son looked up and found the same man that held the door open for them running up to them. When he finally got to them, Sandra noticed how good looking he was, clear blue eyes with black hair, wearing flannel and slightly worn boots.
"Can I help you?"
"Sorry, I just figured you might want this back." He offered the fallen action figure.
"My Green Arrow!" Connor quickly took the toy back and looked up at the man. "Thanks."
"It was nothing." He tried to wave it off but Sandra insisted.
"He loves that thing. Green Arrow is his favourite." Sandra said while hiding the irony behind a smile as she stroked her son's hair. "I'm Samantha, by the way. And this is William." To ensure their protection, ARGUS gave them cover IDs. Connor had the toughest time getting used to being called another name. But it was for their protection.
"Clark Kent." He shook her hand, even if he tilted his head slightly when she introduced themselves. "I think I've seen you around town. You moved into the old Cushing place?"
"Small town, word travels fast."
Clark shrugged. "Only when you know the biggest gossips in the state." That being the local florist, Nell. Smiling kindly at the younger boy, he gestured to the action figure. "So, you love heroes."
"They're the coolest."
"Oh absolutely." Clark said enthusiastically as he kneeled to "William's" level. "Being able to break the sound barrier by jogging? That's pretty amazing."
"And beating up a whole room of guys by yourself!" Sandra had to laugh. Nothing got him excited more than talking about heroes. It was good though that the experience back in Star City hasn't affected him. "Is that a new hero?"
Clark turned to the paper in his other hand, before unveiling for the young boy. It was a blurry picture, but it was of a man and woman with wings stopping a car chase. "Two of them. The Hawks, New Orleans' own heroes." Well, there's an irony, Sandra thought as Connor continued to talk to the man.
"I won't keep you any longer." Clark stood up and nodded to the two. "Samantha, William, it was great meeting you."
"And you, Clark." Sandra said as they stepped away. Opening the door for her son, Connor stopped before waving to the man.
"Bye, Mr. Kent."
Clark turned around and waved back before entering the IHOP. Sighing, he still had the smile on his face as he thought back to that talk. Heroes, there was more popping up by the day. More people with extraordinary abilities, doing the right thing. Helping people. Saving lives.
And here he was stuck on a farm.
Taking a seat in his regular booth, Clark took off his glasses to rub his eyes. Regrets and conflicted feelings were starting to rear their head again. He wanted to go out there, use his powers for something good, or else why have them at all? But his fear always kept him back, and the words of warning that told him to hide what he can do since he was a kid and even as a grown man always echoed in his head. Those warnings are becoming more frequent.
His attention was stolen as Megan stopped by his table with his regular order and coffee. "Clark Kent, always saving the day."
If only that were true, Clark thought as he shrugged. "Someone has to."
"I can only imagine how much weight those shoulders are bearing." She smiled down at him, and truly wished he wasn't taken. Megan looked up and noticed she was being signalled. "I'll be right back."
Clark nodded as he raised the cup to his lips. "They can shoulder more than you know." Clark muttered to himself. Even if he could not be out there all these years, he did his best to look after the community he was raised in. Helping his fellow farmers, local store owners, volunteering, it was his small part to help.
And he wanted to do so much more.
Hearing a familiar voice coming through the door, Clark waved his hand as Lana hung up the phone and joined him in the booth.
Earth-92, Los Angeles, Hyperion Hotel
Angel Investigations stared at the Demon before them. None of them have seen it's like before, orange skin, four fingers, some kind of tusks or horns coming out of their head, and the face, something long and black covering where the mouth and nose should be, the eyes were surrounded by something black with multiple holes in them, or maybe that was how it always looked. Either way, they remained tense, after the Sluks, and that other Demon the new one just killed, they trusted nothing that came out of Quor'toth.
That weapon though was alarming. It looked like technology at the hilt, blue energy that emanated from it that sliced right though the other Demon hinted at just what the thing is capable of.
Angel watched with cold eyes as the creature pressed something on the handle that made the energy dissipate before attaching it to a belt on the waist. His team were behind him and waiting to make a move. "What the hell are you?"
"Umm, Angelcakes, you might not want to-" Lorne tried to stop his favorite Vampire from doing anything rash against what was without a doubt the strongest aura he's ever sensed. It was like a calm breeze and a gentle warmth at the same time, with the possibility of turning into a fiery tornado at a moment's notice. However, the new Demon guy raised his hand up, the team reacted on instinct as Angel rushed forward before the new creature from Hell could make a move but found his movement halted and his feet were kicking the air. He looked down and saw he was floating over all of them, dangling in the center of the room, and the Demon's other four fingered hand raised up.
Cordelia, Gunn, and Fred tried to make a move when the creature lifted a strap across the chest over it's head and unveiled…
"Connor?" Cordelia choked out.
"Ah, so that is your name." Plo Koon looked at his charge as he lowered his hand with his would-be attacker's feet returning to the ground. The man, one of the women, and the green-skinned species all felt different from the other two humans, but while there was the Dark Side lingering around the light-skinned male, light surged from within. Plo walked to the man with undaunted steps while cradling Connor in his arms before they stood in front of the other. "I believe this one young belongs to you."
Angel looked at him in shock as tears began to well up in his eyes before returning to Connor. He was safe, and he was smiling. The world felt lighter as the father took his son into his arms again, something he feared he would have never been able to do after losing him through that portal. "Oh Connor." Angel kissed his son's head and hugged him close. Plo stepped back as the team huddled around their youngest member. There was no better sight as the two other men and women came closer to adore the young one and cry over his return. A warmth bloomed in the Kel Dor Jedi; he couldn't be happier that the Force chose him for this mission.
Despite the fact he never wanted to let his son go again, Angel looked up at the Demon who saved him. He reluctantly let Connor go into the arms of the woman he loved, who gladly cradled the baby and cooed at him while the Vampire approached the newcomer. "I can't thank you enough for this."
"Seeing the young one returned to his family is thanks enough, my friend." The Jedi happily said.
"I'm sorry about-"
Plo held up his hand and stopped him. "Think nothing of it. You had no knowledge of who or what I am, nor who I came with." Plo finished with a look to Connor as the team looked at him, smiles all aimed at him. "It all worked out in the end."
"All the same," Angel offered his hand out to his son's saviour, "My name is Angel, and thank you."
Happily taking the hand, the alien from a galaxy far, far away in another Universe shook his hand with a strong grip. "Master Plo Koon of the Jedi."
"You mean to say there's more of you?" A race of people that strong was terrifying, but hey, at least there's a chance they're nice like the good Samaritan here, Lorne thought as he dangled his finger over Connor's little nose, and the little nipper reaching out to him.
"There are many in the Order from across the galaxy."
That was when their attention turned from the baby to the Jedi.
"You're an alien?" Fred whispered, forgetting about the exhaustion the Sluk's possession caused.
"I suppose I am to you", Plo admitted as he walked around the lobby. "I am not from this planet, or this galaxy. I also believe this is not my Universe."
"An alien from another Universe that killed a Demon…how did our lives come to this?" Gunn asked the group.
"I blame the Hellmouth." It all started with that thing in Sunnydale for Cordelia, but that didn't matter, what mattered, as she returned her attention to the baby, rubbing her nose against his, was that Connor was back.
Plo Koon chuckled as he faced the group again. "It was the will of the Force that brought me to this boy."
"The Force? Is that magic?" Lorne asked honestly. The power coming from this Plo guy was unlike any other he sensed.
Shaking his head, Plo Koon explained to them, "The Force is what gives the Jedi their power. It is an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, it binds the Universe together, connecting us all."
Lorne whistled. "Sounds more tranquil than the kind of magic I heard."
"Make no mistake," Plo warned the Demon gravely, "where there is light, there is also dark. The Dark Side is born out of fear, hate, and rage. It has corrupted even the strongest of our Order, often promising power, but only delivering destruction, and pain."
"So this Force, is it spiritual, or is there a psionic element to it?" Fred asked as she got closer to the alien, looking him up and down, before noticing the armored talons on his fingers. "And what is with the hardware?"
"We Kel Dor have sensitive fingertips, it is to protect them, but through my own design, they help focus some of my abilities."
"Fascinating." Fred's smile was so excited and giddy, Gunn and the others almost thought she resembled a mad scientist. Plo only smiled behind his mask, there was no harm in her curiosity, her nature reflected a bright personality in the Force, but also one of strength. This woman has suffered, they all have.
Seeing Connor in Cordelia's arms made Angel's undead heart do flips. There was one thing he had to ask; one thing he could not let go. "What happened to Holtz?" The room froze and the cheer was replaced by quiet, save a moan from the baby. Angel locked eyes, or whatever they were, with Plo Koon and demanded to know. "What happened to the man who took my son?"
"You have nothing to fear from him." Plo assured the father as he folded his arms behind his back. "Not anymore."
"How do you know?"
"Because I know."
Quor'toth, sometime ago
It was a day into their journey together through this dark world, Plo Koon had created a fire as he settled the child on a smooth enough rock that the Jedi deemed suitable to lay the child down. The boy began to fuss before Plo's hand waved over his face, and the baby's eyes began to grow heavy. "I am not the most pleasant of sights, my young friend, but I assure you, I am good company." Connor tilted his head cutely. The Jedi could only chuckle.
That chuckle died when he sensed another presence nearby. Instead of reacting, Plo went about his duty to clean the child and protect him from anything he may have caught since his travelling began. The Force would have allowed him to know of such a thing, but it was better to be safe, with the chaos of this place, Plo had to keep all his senses alert. Speaking of which.
"If you are going to sneak up on someone, best to do so from downwind." Plo discarded a rag torn from his robes before tying the child to his back again, then faced the kidnapper, clutching a sharpened piece of bone.
"That child is mine, Demon." Holtz growled at the Jedi, his head stained with the blood from the blow he took when his head knocked against the rock.
Calmly and unphased, the Kel Dor joined his hands in front of him. "I think not."
"Away, you monstrous filth!"
"And you wonder why I took the boy." Plo said with a hint of dryness that made Holtz nearly lunge. "I know the truth. This boy was taken from his rightful family, because of your own selfish desires."
"That boy's father is a monster!" Holtz stepped around the fire, only for the General of the 104th to match his step, keeping the flames between them. "I was saving the boy!"
"Yet all I sense from you is vengeance, deceit, and murder."
"You describe Angelus."
"If that be your name."
"A monster like you does not need to know my name."
"Hmm." Plo hummed as he faced the ground, continued his pacing around the fire with the human hunter on the other side, not a step out of place or a muscle tense, the opposite of the near deranged man holding the sharpened bone weapon. "You call me monster, demon, but look what I have risen above." Plo said with a pointed look at Holtz.
"I will kill you, leave you festering in this Hell, and that child will be mine." Holtz said with confidence, even if he felt his own exhaustion rear its head.
Threats did little to phase the Jedi. "If you define yourself by your ability to take a life, to possess, to dominate, then you truly have nothing." Wisely warning the hunter, Plo awaited the inevitable.
He did not need to wait long.
Holtz leapt over the fire with the bone in hand. Plo's hand went to his lightsaber. With a hiss and a flash of blue, Plo Koon stood on the other side of the fire, deactivating his weapon as the human cried out in pain. The lightsaber jabbed along Holtz's right arm and left leg, not severing limb, but severely impacting their use. It was pure plasma after all.
"No longer will you plague this child's family." He told the downed man as he tried to push himself up, only for Holtz to collapse. Walking away, the Jedi Master turned his back on the man, who saw the child, asleep, tied to the Demon's back.
"Steven! STEVEN! BRING ME BACK MY SON!"
Earth-92, Los Angeles, Hyperion Hotel
Plo finished recounting the tale. Without even looking, he could feel the anger radiate from each member of the team, none as dark as that coming from the father. He judged them not, losing one as loved as young Connor, the rage was justified.
"You should have killed him", Lorne said darkly.
"Or worse", Cordelia muttered as she looked into the beautiful blue eyes of her boy. Her world when she found out he was gone nearly collapsed around her, but someone needed to be there for Angel.
"That may be true, but whatever fate lies in store for Holtz, it does not end by my hand."
Angel nodded with him, Holtz can suffer in Quor'toth and forever know, he lost. Angel won. He beat him, and all it took was an alien with Space magic and a laser sword.
My God they lived in weird times, and this coming from a 275-year-old Vampire with a soul.
All that mattered, as he asked for Connor back from Cordy who happily/reluctantly gave him back, was his son was home. "We can help send you back to your Universe."
"An appreciated offer, but unnecessary."
"You got some ruby shoes to "no place like home" your way back?" Lorne asked with honest curiosity.
"Nothing quite like that." Plo chuckled good humouredly at the Pylean's question. "It was the Force that brought me to the child, and I believe it will bring me back."
"You keep referring to the Force like it's alive."
"My dear," Plo addressed Fred, "it is life. We are all connected to it, some of us are gifted with the power to understand it in ways better than anyone else." Then his goggled eyes turned to the smiling child in his father's arms. "Connor especially."
Angel tensed up. "Woah, back up, what are you talking about?"
"I did not mean to alarm you, but your son is what we call Force-sensitive."
"You mean he can do what you can?"
"Exactly. It is a rare and precious gift that needs to be controlled and understood. A time will come when Connor needs to be trained." Angel made to shout his protest with his team standing close with him but was stopped by a four-fingered hand raising. "But that time is not now." Though they could not see it, the crease on his brow softened as he looked at them all, including the baby. "Let him enjoy his life surrounded by love. When the day comes, a choice will be offered, when you are all ready to make the decision. Until then," A doorway appeared before the Jedi, "this is where we part ways."
Cordelia looked between the door and the alien, then back again. "Did you do that?"
"The Force works in mysterious ways." Plo said with amusement.
"Huh." Cordy shrugged. "Beats the crap out of anything the PTB have done lately, that's for sure."
"Amen, sister." Lorne agreed with her.
"Look, I-uh-I'm sorry about-"
Plo waved him off as he approached. "I understand, I am sorry to worry you, I only wish to keep you informed to the blessing your son has been given."
His boy is gonna be powerful, huh? The thought made Angel worry, but also proud, as he looked down at the baby that was fully aware of the people around him. "He is a blessing."
"That he is." The Kel Dor's brow furrowed in a way that Angel believed he was smiling, Lorne knew the truth, and it was a beautiful happy aura he was feeling. Made him all mushy inside. Plo stroked his thumb over Connor's head, while the baby grabbed at his finger, amusing his caretaker. "Remember, my little friend, you have been blessed with a wonderful power. It is the duty of the powerful to protect those who have none. That is the Jedi way, and I believe," the Jedi nodded to each one of the unique little family around him, "I am leaving you in good company. Farewell, Connor."
Plo walked towards the doorway, with baby Connor reaching out to him. Angel shifted his son to hold him up and grabbed his hand to wave bye at the alien who saved him. Glancing once more over his shoulder, the Jedi's final words echoed through them all.
"May the Force be with you."
With one step through, the Jedi Master was gone.
"…well he was charming."
Not disagreeing with Lorne, Gunn still felt the need to raise his hand. "Guys, I know it's bad timing and all, but if we're dealing with aliens, I'm gonna need a raise."
Earth-1, Smallville, Kansas
What would have been an exhausting day of work for any one man, Clark was barely winded as he returned his father's tools to the barn. They were his tools now. The alien raised by humans paused as he looked up at the framed photos above his workstation. It was Clark with Martha and Jonathan Kent when he was eighteen, during his graduation. Another of having just being taught to drive the truck. That was a good day, his dad laying his hand on his shoulder when his mom took the picture. Another, when he was a young boy, wearing a blanket as a cape as Martha hugged him from behind.
He missed them. They were his guiding light, no matter how many times they argued, they were all he had. They could have given him up to the government, or left him in that field, but the Kents taught him right from wrong, to do good for the sake of good.
After their deaths, Lana was the only one who ever knew, besides Pete. She came into his life when everything was too difficult to handle and was there as he needed someone to lean on. Lana was also the one who told him to keep his secret and stay hidden.
Clark loved her, he truly did, but every day it was getting harder not to go out into the world and be more than just a farmer.
Clark descended into the storm cellar, where the ship that brought him to Earth still laid since his father brought it to the farm. Staring at the machine, Clark always wondered about who made it, why he was here, why did his birth parents send him away? The only constant in Clark's life was questions, who he was, what he should do. As he turned to a light switch and pulled it, illuminating the dark space even if he did not need the light, Clark Kent, or whoever he really was, looked at mural of pictures and newspaper clippings he had gathered over the years.
Ever since his parents passed, Clark took the time to study and learn of other people out there. Were there more like him? Was he the only one? In his particular case, he was, but that didn't mean Clark was alone.
Headlines of when Green Arrow first appeared as the Hood were the beginning, but he spread out, and dug deeper.
The man who could run like lightning brought a new age of powered people into the world, or more accurately, the Particle Accelerator of STAR Labs did.
A black and white picture from World War I, what little he can find called them the Wonder Men, but what drew the attention was the woman in the middle wielding the sword and wearing armor and a tiara.
Green lights over Coast City, followed by the disappearance of a pilot from Ferris Air.
Rumors of a boy who could talk to fish in Amnesty Bay, and years later, a man appearing at sea saving sailors and fighting pirates and whalers.
The Batman, when he first appeared, everyone believed he was a giant man-sized bat.
A woman in Detroit, who'd some kind of necklace, and the auras of animals around her.
In World War II, whispers of a superhero group that was removed from the history books, all he could find were eyewitness statements, old films, and a name, the Justice Society of America.
A magician whose shows seemed all too real, whose daughter then followed in his footsteps.
One seeming dabbler in the dark powers, who went around, performing exorcisms and whatnot.
A psychic woman in Keystone City, stopping crime with just a gesture.
Someone with a chainsaw for a hand, who'd apparently killed Demons possessing his friends, and was around again.
A crime-fighting pair who'd popped in Washington DC a few months ago, a man and a woman, named after birds.
Recently, a teenage boy in Central City itself who spewed electricity from his fingertips while flying on a saucer.
And a detective with no face, solving cases others thought were impossible.
All these unique and incredible people, doing something with their gifts, powered or not. Meanwhile, here he was, stuck in the same small town in Kansas, afraid to be someone else. Or perhaps, afraid to be who he was meant to be.
Clark stayed down there for a long time, reading every article, examining every picture, before adding the newspaper clipping of the Hawks. It took time to find each of them, even the more obscure and older articles. Everyone in town always said he was too smart for a farmer, maybe he was, but he didn't see it that way. His intellect and time was all he could give. But he had more to offer.
Finally, Clark ascended from the storm cellar, closing the door behind him when he found Lana at the entrance at the barn. Sighing, the farm boy knew that look.
"Lana-"
"You were down there for over an hour." She said as he sighed deeply and tried to walk by her, but his girlfriend grabbed his arm, even if he could have easily walked out of her grip. "Clark, I'm worried about you."
"You worry about me, my father worried about me, my mother worried about me, everyone worries about me, but why can't I be the one to worry? It's my life." Clark couldn't contain himself.
"Why are you acting like this?"
"Because I could be out there and be something else!" Clark shouted as he spread his arms. "Twenty-eight years, I have stayed in this same place, looking at the same fields, the same people, when I can hear so many others screaming for help."
"You know you can't reveal yourself." Lana grabbed him by his chin to look at her, if he hadn't let her, he wouldn't have budged. "It's too dangerous."
"The world is different now, people are coming out with powers and saving lives, doing the right thing! Why can't I do the same?"
"Because you're not like them!" Lana screamed at him. She could not tell, but even if he could shrug off getting hit by a truck, those words hurt him. "You're different, whether you like it or not, and we have to protect your secret."
"My father always told me to hide myself but hiding isn't living!" Clark pulled away and looked up into the house that he was raised in.
"What, so you want to be famous? Show off your power? Prove you're the best?" Lana asked in exasperation. "Being Smallville's favorite son isn't enough for you?"
"It's not about that!" Whirling on his girlfriend, Clark let the pent-up emotion out at last. "It was never about fame! I only want to help! It's all I ever wanted. Doing the right thing, because it should be done. My parents taught me that but they were afraid, I was afraid too, but I know I can do this!" For once, in a long time, Clark felt exhausted, but relieved. He finally admitted what he wanted to say for so long. "You don't understand, no one could." No one could hear what he hears, see what he sees. There was so much more trouble in the world that went beyond one country. People crying out for help, but he could never reach out to them. Sighing, Clark calmed down and held Lana's hands, noticing her eyes were teary, but she needed to know. "When you can do the things that I can, but you don't, and then the bad things happen, they happen because of you. I am tired of feeling that way."
For the longest time, Lana only stared at him. Hurt. Betrayed. Finally, she pulled away from the farmer and stepped back. "I'm going to stay at my Aunt Nell's for a while. When you figure things out, let me know."
He knew what that meant. Clark could only watch as Lana entered her car and drove off. Still standing there, he watched her until she left Kent land. A whining next to him had Clark look down at his dog, Dusty. Kneeling next to the border collie, he scratched the canine's ear and told him. "She's gone, boy. She won't be coming back."
He's made his choice. And she made hers.
Some days later, Central City, Central City High
Virgil walked into the school, Richie next to him, his injured leg in a cast, as he used a walking frame.
"I'm repaired, rested and ready for autographs!" Richie said, Virgil taking a pen out of his bag before kneeling down and signing Richie's cast.
"Pretty big cast", Virgil noted.
"Yeah, the doc said I was lucky", Richie replied, then frowned. "If the bullet hit even a little bit higher…."
"Don't even talk about it!" Virgil said.
"Yeah", Richie nodded, then looked around. "Anyways, maybe everybody has learnt a lesson from all this."
Hearing some kids laughing in a way that clearly did not sound like harmless fun, Virgil replied. "Maybe." He looked ahead to a hallway and saw two bullies dropping the books an overweight kid was carrying.
"Dropped it!"
They ran off, laughing, as the boy knelt down to pick up his books, and Virgil ran up next to him.
"Let me help you, man." The kid turned to Virgil, who picked up one book, handing it to him.
"Hey, thanks", he replied as Richie limped closer.
Earth-92, Los Angeles, Hyperion Hotel
Angel and Cordelia were back in bed, with Connor between them, the latter feeding him his bottle, this time both of them fully awake, as they didn't want to lose sight of their boy.
"He is gonna be powerful", Angel commented.
"Our powerful little boy, huh?" Cordelia said, stroking the baby's head. "Can't believe someone so adorable can be that powerful."
"I know", Angel sighed. "Our powerful little boy."
Every moment from before Wesley took him felt like he took his child for granted, whether it was true or not, Angel felt an unbridled joy, to be back in this position. His son, his love, it almost felt like it was enough to make him lose his soul.
However, while nothing could contain the relief and happiness he felt in this moment, it also reminded him of what happened. Wesley still betrayed him; he won't forget that. And more than that: Holtz.
He thought he could take his son. Turns out fate, or the Force, was on Angel's side. The Vampire hopes the bastard realizes that in the Hell he sent himself to.
Quor'toth, sometime ago
Holtz spent months trying to recover from the wounds that Demon inflicted on him, that was when they found him. Hordes of the unholy spawn found him and took him prisoner. Beatings were regular, especially when he tried to escape, until they made it to some putrid city of sorts. After being thrown into a cage, Holtz was left to rage and seethe in silence as he thought to the ones at fault. Angelus, and that hell spawn spinning honeyed words to make Holtz sound like the villain. How can he be evil compared to monsters like them?
It was over a day Holtz was left in the cell, no food or water, nothing since that flying Demon he managed to down with a makeshift bow and cook. What little good it did him now.
Suddenly, Holtz found himself thrown to the side of the cell. Looking around, alarmed, the human tried to find answers, only to feel the ground shake, and the structure his cell was in seemed to begin to crumble. The shaking caused the wall of his cell to break apart, and the floor began to break off with it. Finally, the light of day, or what passes for day in this Hell, illuminated Holtz's figure as he blinked to recover from the influx of light after its long absence.
Then he found the caused, and there was nothing Holtz could do to contain his scream.
A giant monstrosity with an exposed brain and no eyes loomed over him, half of its head seemingly burned black. Its monstrous limb took a hold of the structure Holtz was in, and then he began to hear the screams of others in cells above him, and chanting echoing across the city. One name that made Holtz' blood chill.
Quor'toth.
Thoughts fled Holtz now as terror filled the old hunter and he felt the floor disappear from beneath him, replaced by the gapping void of the Demon's mouth below him. One last scream was all that was left of Daniel Holtz before he disappeared in the mouth of the Old One.
Earth-1, Central City
Static Shock was flying around on his saucer, when he saw Flash down below, speaking with Joe, Patty and Lloyd, and flew down to them, as they saw him, Flash greeting him. "Static."
"Flash", Static greeted back, then looked at the other three. "Guys."
"Been a while", Lloyd noted, as last time they'd seen each other was during the shooting incident.
"Since then, I found out some things", Virgil said, then told them. "In one year alone, 6000 kids were expelled for bringing a handgun to school."
"Its worse, as many as 4000 kids are killed by guns each year", Joe added glumly.
"This is a huge issue that isn't talked of as much as it should be", Barry agreed sadly as well. "And no one is giving a real solution to it either, just swinging things to the extreme ends based on their ideologies."
"Meaning things like this need to be looked into at an individual level, starting from us", Patty said, the rest nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, these incidents can be as bad as massacres done by Michael Myers and other sickos like him", Lloyd admitted with a grim face. "Only, they are much more stoppable if we act."
"Yes, if someone shows us a gun, we shouldn't stay quiet, but get away from them, tell those who need to know, and try to stop any incidents from even happening", Virgil agreed, flying back up. "All of us should do our parts to increase the peace out there."
"Wise words, Static", Barry agreed with a nod.
"You're still a kid", Joe noted, then added. "Your parents would be proud of you if they knew what you're doing."
Smiling for once, Virgil said. "Thank you."
With that, he flew off, as Barry shared a nod with the cops, and sped off too, the two Heroes off once more to keep the peace in Central City in their usual ways.
But they knew that sometimes, daily acts of simple kindness, or telling someone of something crucial at the right time, was just as important in regards to keeping the peace.
Hell
Sam, Dean, Castiel and Gabriel staggered away, holding their heads, this journey having been quite painful, but then turned to see Chuck and Michael had come too.
"Well, looks like you failed again", Michael said with a smirk. "Father shall punish you now!"
"Uhh….who are you lot?"
All of them turned to see a handsome man dressed in an immaculate suit, sitting on the throne of Hell, and standing next to him was a dark-skinned man in a coat.
"Who are you?" Michael asked the man with a snarl.
"Oh me? I'm Lucifer Morningstar, the ruler of Hell", Lucifer said with his usual smirk, and Michael looked shocked.
"Insolent fool! You are no Lucifer!"
"Uhhh…yes I am. I think I'd know who I am."
"I am Amenadiel, the Fury of God", the dark-skinned one, Amenadiel, added from his own end.
"God is standing right here!" Michael snapped, pointing at Chuck.
"That doesn't look like God to me", Amenadiel said simply.
"So, he is really not God?" Sam inquired.
"Nah, he is not", Lucifer said.
"Whoa!" Gabriel looked at Chuck in horror. "So…..you're a fake then?"
"I am NOT a fake!" Chuck snapped.
Lucifer's eyes narrowed on seeing who was with Sam, Dean and Gabriel though. "Brother, is that you?"
"What…" Castiel looked up at Lucifer and Amenadiel with a groan. "Do I know you?"
"Castiel, it is us! Lucifer and Amenadiel, remember?" Amenadiel added, walking to Castiel and grasping him by the shoulders, making him look up at him. "You have been missing for a long time. What happened to you?"
"I…." Castiel trailed off.
"Come on…remember us", Amenadiel begged.
"What is going on?" Michael asked, looking utterly confused.
"Your father is fake god, and from the looks of it, you're a fake Archangel", Dean revealed with a smirk.
"NO! THIS CAN'T BE!" Michael snapped in anger.
"I may be fake, but I can destroy all of you", Chuck smirked as he raised his fingers.
"Can you though?" Lucifer asked, standing up from his throne and revealing his wings. "You are in my house now."
Seeing his wings, Castiel grabbed his head and screamed, flashes passing through his mind.
"Cass!" Dean cried out. "Cass, come on! What's happening?"
Castiel's scream turned into a roar of rage, and then white wings sprouted from him too, but unlike before, he did not need to show them as a silhouette.
"Oh boy!" Sam muttered, while Castiel stood up, his injuries healing, and turned to the horrified Chuck with a murderous glare.
"You…."
Thanks a lot to Brainstorm Sorcerer for his writing for the Parker/Felicia, Plo Koon/Connor, Rogue/Bobby and Earth-1 Clark scenes. And thank you to gussygus28 for the outlines of the Black Lightning and Fellowship plots.
'Jimmy' is one of my favorite 'Static Shock' episodes, and it was done here, its something else.
Imagine Dominic Purcell as Earth-38 Wardog. I've never seen 'Black Lightning' beyond a few episodes but from what I know, he has never shown up in it or Arrowverse in general. This was between Seasons 1 and 2 of 'Black Lightning', and hope the team-up between Static Shock and Black Lightning, and the reference to Static's team-up with Anansi in DCAU, were all enjoyed.
Imagine Skai Jackson as Daisy, Sadie Sink as Frieda, Aiden Gallagher as Jimmy Osgood, Nicholas Hamilton as Nick Connor, Griffin Gluck as Kevin, Jacob Bertrand as Ray, and Rob Schneider as Mr. Osgood, thank you to gussygus28 for the casting.
The breach cameos during Virgil's little journey were Yusuke Urameshi from 'YuYu Hakusho', Captain Karanveer "Karan" Singh Dogra from the 'Commando' film series (an Indian film series, not to be confused with Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1985 film), Toshinori Yagi/All Might from 'My Hero Academia', Blade/Eric Brooks from 'Marvel Anime', Hal Jordan/Green Lantern from 'Green Lantern: The Animated Series', Shinji Ikari from 'Neon Genesis Evangelion', Aragorn from Ralph Bakshi's 1978 animated 'The Lord of the Rings', and then a version of DCEU Bruce Wayne/Batman before falling onto Earth-38.
And the cameos when Plo Koon was in The World Between Worlds were Galen Marek/Starkiller from 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker from 'Star Wars Legends', the Jedi Order in the Temple of Tython, Tanjiro Kamado from 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba', Vi and Caitlyn from 'Arcane', and the Serenity Crew (Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds, Inara Serra, Zoë Washburne, Hoban "Wash" Washburne, Jayne Cobb, Kaylee Frye, Shepherd Book, Simon Tam and of course, River Tam) from 'Firefly' and its follow-up film 'Serenity'.
And I'd Connor react a little bit during the last cameo and Plo Koon realizing he is close because 'Firefly' was also created by Joss Whedon (a person with good creativity, though not without its major flaws born out of pettiness as seen in Buffy Season 6 and Angel Season 4, who is unfortunately a piece of shit in real life and deserves to face consequences for all his actions), just like 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel' were. Only show of his I still haven't seen is 'Dollhouse'.
The World Between Worlds is a realm where time and Space are linked together, and here, it exists between all Universes. As the Force connects all life, it also now connects the Multiverse. Each pathway was its own Universe, hence why Plo travelled through a few before he found the right one.
The three 'Star Wars' cameos were basically windows through time, as Galen Marek bringing down the star destroyer and Luke Skywalker teaching a New Jedi Order are potential futures for Plo Koon's Universe, while the Jedi Order in Tython is the past.
So, the Fellowship is having its own separate adventures before setting out. Merry, Pippin and Trixie from 'Lucifer' fought a Negative Zone bug from EMH while Frodo, Sam and the Scoobies fought Kayako Saeki from 'The Grudge'. Her looking at Buffy as if she knows her is because Sarah Michelle Gellar was the protagonist in the first American Grudge film.
The extrapolators for the entire Fellowship, Aragorn visited Team Flash off-screen between Ward's takeover and Lex shooting Cisco, and so Cisco made those for all of them.
Felicia is saved, Alahi is taken care of, but Eliot knows Felicia has some issues.
Rogue really is going through the ringer, almost starving herself due to the return of her powers, and has broken up with Bobby, but is convinced to try and be better still.
Lord Krishna is a form of God, and gave Uriel and Zachariah theirs. Chuck is an Imp with delusions of being a God, not the real God and the entire truth will be revealed in next chapter.
On Earth-3013, the Mahabharata war has happened, and most of it was text-accurate, other than some instances, but everyone looks like they did in the 2013 Mahabharat show.
Meanwhile, Earth-1 Clark wants to do more, but has Lana to deal with. I'm sure you recognized all the Heroes. In the middle, I threw in Carrie White and Ash Williams because they exist on the same Earth and their exploits would be known to Clark due to all his investigations. The rest are DC superheroes.
Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter.
