"That won't happen Kakashi and you know it," Kakuzu said smiling.
Kakashi backed away as Kakuzu walked closer. He shook his head as he ran into a wall. Kakuzu laughed. "You're still waiting for someone to help you aren't you? Well guess what there's enough drugs in their systems to last until tomorrow afternoon. By that time we'll be long gone."
"Who gave them drugs? And how did you find us?" Kakashi asked. He jumped up and ran to his right trying not to step on his friends. He grunted as someone grabbed his ankle. He looked down to see Shino holding his leg. "It was you Shino?"
"Of course. I could never really like a dog breathed person who ran a small pet shop," Shino said standing. He stepped on Kakashi's torso and waited for Kakuzu. Kakashi whimpered as Kakuzu picked him up. Suddenly Shino turned and kicked Kakuzu making him drop Kakashi. "Then again, there is always that one person you'd make an exception for."
"What the hell?! What do you think you're doing? I told you to stay out of the way," Kakuzu yelled. Shino grinned evilly. He pulled out a strange gun and pointed it at Kakuzu. The taller man backed away slightly. "So, you're one of them. How did you find me? I was gone and made sure no one would find me. Especially you people."
"Well, it seems your plan failed. Why? Because I'm the one they send after those who are most dangerous. I'm the one who will use any way to catch my prey. Watashi wa nani ga hito ni iku nda(1)" Shino said glaring at Kakuzu. The tall man flinched and turned. He ran towards the front door. Shino fired and hit his shoulder, swearing profoundly. Kakashi looked at him scared. Shino looked down at Kakashi. "Watashi wa anata o kowagatte mōshiwake arimasen baai. Watashi wa Shino-yu on'nada. Watashi wa majikku-bu Nihon-ka no seiginotameni hataraku. Wareware wa nagaiai kare no nochi ni shite kita. O~tsu to, anata wa, Nihon wa anata o okonau rikai shite inai? Mōshiwake arimasen. Watashi o yurushitekudasai(2). What I just said was, sorry if I scared you. I'm Shino Aburame. I work for the Justice of Magic Department Japan Division. We've been after him for a long while. Sorry, I forgot you speak English only. Sorry, sometimes I forget I'm in America. Speaking English can be a pain in the ass so I automatically switch back to Japanese."
"It's fine. Will he be back?" Kakashi asked gesturing at the door. Shino nodded.
"What I've learned about that man is he never gives up on something he wants until it's dead or gone without a trace," Shino said shaking his head. Kakashi nodded and crawled over to Itachi. He lifted one of his lover's arms and cuddled into his chest. Itachi naturally hugged him closer. "You'll have to leave here. Sorry Kakashi."
"Where will I go? Everywhere I've gone he's found me," Kakashi said sadly.
"What do you mean this isn't the first time he found you?" Shino asked. Kakashi nodded. "What happened the other times? How come you didn't tell us?"
"I didn't want Itachi worrying," Kakashi said sadly. He yawned and turned back to Itachi's warm safe chest. "Good night."
"Yeah," Shino said turning. Kakashi woke up in the morning and looked around. Everyone was gone, but he was still in the pet shop. He jumped up looking around.
"Itachi? Itachi!" Kakashi yelled panicking. Suddenly Itachi came around the corner. Kakashi ran and hugged him in relief. "Itachi."
"Why are you yelling so loudly in the morning?" Itachi asked as Kakashi hugged him. "Is it because you thought we were gone?"
"Yes," Kakashi said muffled into Itachi's chest. He stepped back and looked at him smiling mischievously. Itachi raised his eyebrow questioningly. "You know it's been sometime since we've been alone. Every time we're getting to the good part we get interrupted."
"You're right, but everyone we know is out there and would hear us. Does that not matter to you?" Itachi asked. Kakashi sighed in defeat.
"You're right. I just wasn't thinking," Kakashi said sadly. Itachi smiled and pulled Kakashi to him and kissed him. They stood kissing each other deeply until someone cleared their throat. The two looked to see Obito standing in the door way. Itachi smiled and pulled Kakashi over.
"Breakfast is ready," Obito said monotone. Itachi and Kakashi followed the other Uchiha smiling. They were greeted by everyone sitting at a table covered with food and plates. "Okay everyone EAT UP!"
Everyone grabbed plates and shoveled food onto their plates. Kakashi smiled and got a small plate of eggs with a sausage. He walked out of the room and realized they weren't in the pet shop anymore. He looked around curiously walking into another room. He spotted a window with the curtains pulled over it and ran right for it. He stopped and looked out. There was green grass and hills as far as he could see. He jumped back as a giant eye appeared in the window. He looked at it alarmed. He screamed as two giant fingers came through the roof and picked him up. He gasped and grabbed the finger as he looked down. He was thousands of feet above the ground.
"What the hell is going on!?" Kakashi screamed as the fingers stopped. He turned shaking towards the eye. It was attached to a large bellied man with red hair and two lines on his face.
"Hey Choza. What are you doing just pulling my guests out of my house?" Shino asked down below. The giant looked down at Shino smiling. He leaned down and put Kakashi on the ground. He immediately fell to the ground trembling. "So how are you Choza?"
"I've been good. And you Shino?" Choza boomed. Kakashi stared up and fainted. "Kakashi, Kakashi, seems like he really doesn't remember where we are. Kakuzu must have done this."
"Done what?" Kakashi asked sitting up. He looked around for the giant, but his eyes fell upon a miniature of the giant creature. "B-but y-you were l-like f-fifty feet t-tall. W-where the hell are we?"
"We're in our home land. You don't remember, but it's where you come from," Shino explained. You are a prince and the king and queen miss you greatly. They have been searching for you for decades. You're an elf prince. That's why you are so handsome and heal quickly. You belong here. Kakuzu erased your memory. He must have used a spell on you to find you whenever you move. All though, I don't know why he would want you to not remember where you're from. That part concerns me greatly."
"Watashi wa chōza, watashi wa watashi ga idaina daiichiinshō o nokoshite inakatta chi tte iru. Mōshiwakearimasenga, watashi wa anata no chichioya to omotte ita. Dakara watashi wa sore ga atta ka dō ka o kakunin shitakatta. Shikashi, watashi wa anata o hirotta toki, watashi wa sorede wanai koto ni kidzukimashita. Watashi wa hijō ni mōshiwakearimasenga(3)," Choza said smiling. Kakashi looked at him confused. Shino face palmed as he sighed and shook his head.
"Chōza kare wa nihonjin o rikai shite inai. Kare wa amerikahitoda," Shino said grinning slightly. Choza's eyes widened and he cleared his throat.
"I'm Choza, I know I didn't leave a great first impression. Sorry, but I thought you were you father. So I wanted to see if it was. But when I picked you up I realize it wasn't. I'm very sorry," Choza concluded. He looked at Kakashi nervously scratching the back of his head.
"It's fine. But you know my father?" Kakashi asked. Choza looked at Kakashi confused. He nodded.
"Well, you act as though you don't know your own father," Choza laughed. Kakashi looked at him slightly hurt. Choza stopped and looked at Shino. "You're joking right? He must remember his parents."
"Kakuzu erased his memory. He doesn't even realize where we are," Shino explained. Choza shook his head. "I know it's sad, but we are taking him to see Lady Tsunade. I know it's risky, but we must. Especially if Kakuzu is after him. He'll probably be here soon."
"Then you all should get going," Choza said smiling.
"Well, I can't take them all with me. So please keep an eye on the others. I'm only taking Itachi, Kakashi, and Kiba. It'll be faster that way," Shino said. Choza nodded and walked to Shino's house. Kakashi followed them as they both went to the house. "Itachi, Kiba you two are coming with me. We are going to see Lady Tsunade."
"You're kidding me?" Itachi asked as they walked up. Kiba let out a loud whoop pumping his hand in the air. Kakashi looked at Itachi curiously. He shook his head and walked over to Shino. They got into a heated discussion. Eventually Itachi walked back over and grabbed Kakashi. "We're leaving now."
"What? Where are we going?" Kakashi asked curiously. Itachi didn't answer. Kakashi stopped and Itachi looked back. "I'm not going until I know where we are going."
"I'm taking you home," Itachi said seriously. Kakashi returned his look. Itachi hugged him and they were gone in a puff of black smoke. Kakashi looked around in awe. They were in a grand mansion with large paintings and tapestries. "Come."
"Where are we?" Kakashi asked as he saw a painting of him and Itachi when they were younger. Kakashi looked back and forth between the painting and his boyfriend. "Why are we in that painting?"
"Because, you were my best friend for my whole life. One day you went missing. I went to find you and when I did it was the night they took you. I had used two powerful spells that day so I couldn't change my form. So I resorted to following you as a cat. I followed you and made sure you were ok," Itachi said sadly. Kakashi smiled and hugged him.
"You were my cute little cat that followed me?" Kakashi asked happily Itachi nodded. He pulled him into a passionet kiss making them both moan. They pulled away leaving a string of saliva connecting them. It broke and footsteps were heard around the corner. Two men talking came around the corner. One slightly resembled Itachi with frown lines around hiss mouth, but no stress lines, and the other had blonde hair that went in spikes all around his head, with bright blue eyes and a cheery face. They both stopped and looked at the two men in their path.
"Itachi?" the first said running and hugging said person. The blonde stood smiling at Kakashi. "Itachi, I'm so glad you're home. Where have you been?"
"I was finding a friend and protecting him from harm," Itachi smiled slightly at Kakashi. The man looked behind Itachi and gasped at Kakashi.
"What is he doing here? He is the enemy Itachi. His Father declared was on us when he disappeared. He shouldn't be here. But since he is, we'll take a prisoner," the man said snapping. Immediately guards surrounded Kakashi. The silver haired man gasped and jumped as one tried to grab him. He looked side to side as two came at him. He slid quickly into the right split and pulled his legs in(5) pulling the guards legs out from under them. The other guards ran at him. He spun on his shoulder moving to his head with his feet hanging out and knocked out the guards. The man growled as Kakashi stood. He looked at Itachi sadly and ran. Itachi started after him, but was stopped. Itachi looked at his father angrily. "Why are you glaring at me? If we had him then our kindom would have had the advantage."
"Now, he probably thinks I brought him here for a hostage. He has no memory of this place and Kakuzu is after Kakashi. Now he is going to be taken back to the human world and the war will continue," Itachi growled. His father looked at him confused. The blonde walked up putting his hand on Itachi's father's shoulder.
"Hey Fugaku, shouldn't you be trying to stop this war rather than keep fighting? I mean if you just gave them back their son then the war would stop, you could explain you never had him, and be at peace with them," the blonde said smiling. Fugaku turned to him.
"You're to soft Minato," he answered. Minato's head dropped in depression. "That's a perfect example."
Kakashi ran through hall after hall until he lost his breath completely. He stopped and turned into an open door. He turned around as he heard shuffling. A scream sounded as a pillow hit his face. "Wait, please be quiet. I don't know where I am. "
"MOM! DAD! NARUTO! HELP THERE'S A MAN IN MY ROOM!" a teenage girl yelled. Kakashi panicked and looked around. He spotted a window and went towards it. He jumped out and screamed as someone caught him.
"Oh no you don't! No one makes my sister scream and gets away with it!" a boy said. Kakashi cursed himself for taking off his jacket as he fell. He went limp and hit the ground with a sickening crack. Pain exploded in his right arm. He got up and ran towards a large group of trees. He looked back to see guards chasing him. He turned and kept running until a tree hit him. He fell backwards stunned. He looked around as the tree started changing.
"Huh?" Kakashi said out of breath. The tree turned into a girl with pink hair and a large forehead. She leaned down towards him. "What the hell is going on here?"
"Who are you?" she asked in an annoying voice. He shook his head and scooted back slightly. She followed. "Well, my name is Sakura. I'm the princess of the cherry tree guardians. Now, I command you to tell me your name."
"Well, I dont' feel like telling you," Kakashi countered. He carefully stood up and looked around. Sakura followed him as he started moving. "What do you want?"
"Your name."
"I'm not telling you."
"Why not?"
"Because there's no point. Why do you want to know my name anyway?"
"You're cute and I'll make you one of my concubinus(6). So tell me."
"No way in hell."
"So you're a demon from hell? That's even better."
"Go away."
"No."
"Why?"
"Because this is the forest I look after so I don't have to."
"Fine," Kakashi said as he ran towards an opening in the trees. He found himself on a grassy hill. The annoying girl was nowhere in sight. Kakashi looked around and found two sticks. He took them in one hand and put them by his injured arm. He carefully tore the bottom of his khaki shorts and lay his broken arm in between the sticks. He carefully pushed the bone back in place and wrapped his arm in the make shift splint. He got up and started walking towards a small village. He looked around and sighed as he saw no guards. Kakashi slowly made his way through looking at the people curiously. They all ignored him or looked and him with the same curiosity. He smiled at a few who returned the gesture. Kakashi walked faster as he heard guards coming. He heard them round the corner. "Shit."
"There he is!" one yelled they all started after Kakashi. All of the villagers ran to their houses or the nearest building. 'This is bad. At this rate they'll catch me.' Kakashi thought. He hid in an ally when someone kneed him in the stomach. Then they hit his head with their knee. Everything went black. Kakashi opened his eyes and everything was bright but came into focus. "Where am I?"
"Heh, doesn't really matter. But you, you are really important to the king aren't you? I mean why else would he send that many guards after you," a strange girl said. Kakashi looked at him. He was surprised to see a younger person around Sasuke's age with red triangle tattoos on her cheeks and flat smoot brown hair in a low pony tail. "If that's the case you'll be kept for rand some and then I'll hand you over. The letter has already been delivered."
"You, who are you?" Kakashi asked as he looked at the person. They turned to him and smiled. "Who are you?"
"I'm no one important," they answered. Kakashi growled and another person came around the corner. It was a woman who resembled the girl talking to him. She smacked her in the head. "Ow, mom what was that for?"
"You were supposed to bring him to me. Now he just looks scared. What did you do?" she asked. She shook her head. Kakashi watched them then looked around. He figured they were in a house. "Sorry if Hana scared you. I'm Tsume. I think I've met you before."
"Well, even if you have I have no memory of this place. So, sorry," Kakashi murmured. She leaned closer to his face looking at him curiously. He smiled as she leaned closer. "Yes?"
"So you really don't remember huh?" Tsume said as she stood up normally. Hana looked at her still rubbing her head. "Well bring him. And untie him Hana. He is a guest."
"Yes ma'am," Hana said untying Kakashi. She helped him to his feet. "Sorry if I did scare you. I was just messing around."
"It's all fine," Kakashi said.
"But Mom, he was being chased by he kings guards. Should we do somethin' 'bout that?" Hana asked leading Kakashi. Tsume stopped and turned around.
"You should have said that sooner. Where were you going any way Kakashi?" Tsume asked. Kakashi shrugged. "Very well, we'll take you to the border of our country and you can wander after that. Well give you some money and different clothes. But you should do something about that hair. It'll be your down fall."
"Thank you," Kakashi said smiling. Tsume nodded and stopped. She nodded and Hana let go of him. They gave him clothes and money and left. Kakashi stood up, changed, and started walking when he saw a blue berry bush. He stopped and grabbed large hand fulls. He squashed them and rubbed it on as much of his hair possible. He repeated this until he was sure his hair was covered. He looked around and saw some apple trees. He quickly ran towards them. He stopped as he saw some one in the orchard. He looked back and saw a man in a hood picking up apples. Kakashi looked down. He picked up the apple laying at his foot. He started to walk away as quietly as possible when a twig snapped.
(1)Shino says 私は何が人を行くよ which translates to "I'm an anything goes man" I thought it would be cooler in Japanese so. Yeah.
(2) What he really says is "Sorry if I scared you. I'm Shino Aburame. I work for the Justice of Magic Department Japan Division. We've been after him for a long while. Oops you don't understand Japanese do you? Sorry. Please forgive me."
(3) Choza didn't know Kakashi was American. Here's what he said. "I'm Choza, I know I didn't leave a great first impression. Sorry, but I thought you were you father. So I wanted to see if it was. But when I picked you up I realized it wasn't. I'm very sorry."
(4) Shino is explaining Kakashi's nationality. "Choza he doesn't understand Japanese. He's American."
(5) This was like something you'd see in a martial arts movie I think.
(6) I think this is the male equivalent to a female concubine.
