Kakashi smiled as he looked around the store. There was clothing galore and shoes too. Everything excited him to no end in the store. Asuma laughed at his friend. "What are you laughing at Asuma?"
"You look like a little kid in a toy store for the first time with a fifty dollar bill," Asuma explained chuckling. Kakashi glared at him like a little kid. "Go on, find stuff you like. I'll buy."
"Really?" Kakashi asked a little worried. Asuma nodded. Kakashi flew off looking at all of the clothes and shoes. He stopped when he found some good looking jeans. He held them up to his lower body and nodded. He looked at the size and frowned as he grabbed more. "I can't believe I'm this small."
"What's the matter Kakashi?" Asuma asked appearing out of no where. Kakashi jumped then looked at his friend showing him the size. "Wow, you really slimmed down."
"Yeah, I'm a twig. But thank you for saying it in a way that did not offend me. Any way, do see these in a lighter color too?" Kakashi asked looking at the dark jeans. Asuma smiled and grabbed some off a shelf. Then he pulled Kakashi to the fitting rooms. "Thanks Asuma, for everything."
"Just try on those clothes," Asuma scolded. Kakashi chuckled and went into the fitting room. Ten minutes later he came out after trying on all ten pairs of jeans he and Asuma grabbed. "Jeez, now we need to get you formal clothes, shirts, and shoes. Maybe some socks depending on the shoes."
"Don't forget a pair of swim trunks and sandals. We do live on the coast after all," Kurenai jingled out of nowhere. Asuma nodded and looked at Kakashi as Kurenai ran off again. She came back with a bikini, two pairs of swim trunks, and three pairs of flip flops. "Here, go try these on both of you."
"Yes ma'am," they drawled together. They walked into the fitting rooms and tried the clothes on. A few minutes later they returned. She held up a thumbs up then down in question. Kakashi and Asuma both raised thumbs up.
"Alright, let's go get the other clothes I've been talking about," Asuma announced as Kurenai disappeared. Kakashi found some loose fitting t shirts in all colors. He grabbed some and looked at Asuma with a dark green shirt, a navy blue shirt,a deep purple shirt, a yellow shirt, a red shirt, an orange shirt and few other colors from the rainbow. Asuma smiled and pulled down some dress clothes for Kakashi to try on as well. "Take those to the fitting room and I'll be there with other stuff for you."
"Okay!" Kakashi answered excitedly. He took the shirts and dress clothes back to the fitting rooms. Upon his arrival a fragment of his dream flashed through his mind. A tall looking shadow was over him. He shook his head and the memory faded. He tried on all of the clothes and grinned. He ran out of the dressing room. "I hope he doesn't mind that I like all of them."
"You haven't changed at all," a strange but familiar voice said behind him. Kakashi turned and felt his heart stop. Standing in front of him was a tall man with tan skin, very muscular build hidden under his business suit, long dark brown hair, and his eyes had an unusual coloring: green irides and no pupils. He slowly backed up until he hit a wall with his back. "What's the matter Kakashi?"
"How do you know my name? Who are you?" Kakashi asked panicking. He whimpered as the man leaned down and touched his face. "W-what are you d-doing?"
"Relax, I'm not going to hurt you. I've just been looking everywhere for you," the man whispered. Kakashi shuddered as the man pulled his face up to look at him. "Your skin hasn't changed at all. Neither have you."
"Who are you? What do you want from me?" Kakashi whispered. He whimpered as he felt a hand on his back. "Please let me go."
"Oh, I'm not going to hurt you. That is if you come with me without a fight. Otherwise I'll just have to go after your friends over there. Now come quietly," he threatened pushing Kakashi towards the door. The smaller man dropped the clothes and quietly left with the stranger. "Kakuzu."
"Is that your name?" Kakashi asked as they walked the tall man nodded. "Where are we going?"
"Nowhere in particular at the moment," Kakuzu answered. Kakashi nodded and stared at the ground as he walked. "Stop asking so many questions."
"Yes sir," Kakashi responded quietly. He stared sadly at the ground until he was pulled into a coffee shop. Kakashi looked around curiously. He turned as Kakuzu directed him to a chair and sat down. He jumped as a menu was in front of his face. "Uuummm?"
"What? Is there nothing you like on the menu?" Kakuzu asked sitting across from Kakashi. Kakashi shook his head and looked at the menu again. "Well?"
"I'd like a strawberry danish and some coffee please," Kakashi told Kakuzu quietly. The larger man nodded and whistled. A waiter walked over, talked to Kakuzu, nodded and left. Kakashi put down the menu and looked at the other. "Why did you bring me here? I-I don't know you and you don't know me. So why did you take me?"
"I didn't take you. Plus I wanted to get to know you. I didn't intend to hurt anyone in the store," Kakuzu declared with a sigh. Kakashi tilted his head in confusion. "I saw you in the store and thought that I needed to talk to that beautiful person. So, that's what I did. And here I am, having coffee and talking to you just like I wanted. "
"But, I'm just a little confused. How can a nice man like yourself be interested in men?" Kakashi asked. He jumped as Kakuzu let out a loud bark of laughter. "Did I say something funny?"
"Yes. But I'm not sure how to answer that question," Kakuzu answered. Kakashi looked at him and smiled.
"Just answer truthfully," Kakashi suggested. He felt his smile fade slowly as Kakuzu stared at him. "I-is there something on my face?"
"No, there's nothing. But I've never had anyone say something like that to me," Kakuzu stated as Kakashi's food and their coffee arrived. They talked quietly as they ate and drank. After they finished their coffee, Kakuzu stood up, payed, and took Kakashi back to the store. "Well, Kakashi, goodbye."
"Wait Kakuzu, I had a nice time talking with you. C-could we maybe meet there t-tomorrow at the same time?" Kakashi asked blushing. Kakuzu smiled and nodded as he left. Kakashi stood staring after the large man until he was hit in the head. "Owwww."
"You deserve it for disappearing like that. Where were you?" Asuma asked worriedly. Kakashi turned to him smiling. "Where were you?"
"I was taken out to coffee for a little while," Kakashi answered still blushing. Asuma glared at him and shook his head. "What?"
"Nothing. Let's get you a job and somewhere to stay," Asuma replied as Kurenai walked over with the bags. Kakashi nodded and followed Asuma as they walked around looking for a good job for Kakashi. They stopped when they all got too tired and lost track of time. Asuma looked at Kakashi panting slightly. "Well, is there any kind of job you'd want?"
"No, any would be fine," Kakashi answered shaking his head. Asuma nodded. "Why?"
"Well there's a family looking for a butler. It'd give you a job and place to stay," Asuma explained. Kakashi tilted his head side to side.
"Yeah, what are the requirements?" Kurenai asked. Asuma nodded smiling.
"Just no criminal records, or anything like that. So Kakashi should be fine for the job. He just needs to be interviewed," Asuma replied. Kurenai nodded. They got the car and set off to the house. Kakashi changed into some of the nice clothes Asuma bought on the way.
"Are you sure we can just walk in like this. It's really unprofessional," Kakashi said looking at the large house. "Who are these people anyway?"
"I'm sure it'll be fine. To answer that question, they own a large computer software company. But rumor has it they're also part of a mafia," Asuma replied. He stepped up to the gate intercom and pressed the button. As soon as a voice came through Asuma pulled Kakashi in front of it.
"May I help you?" a man asked. Kakashi swallowed loudly.
"Yes, sorry to disturb you, but I'm here for the butler position if it's still available," Kakashi answered nervously.
"Yes, it is come in," the man said as the gates opened. Kakashi looked at Asuma and Kurenai. He nodded and started up the long drive way. He sighed in relief and triumph as he reached the top. He marveled at the large magnificent double doors and jumped as one opened. "Hello."
"I am Kakashi Hatake. Thank you for taking the time to interview me," Kakashi said bowing. He looked up as they said nothing. Kakashi felt his heart skip a beat as he saw the man he had been talking to. He was young man as tall as Kakashi at least, thin with muscles, with tan skin, onyx eyes, and jet-black hair to his shoulder blades and center parted bangs that framed his face, extending to his chin. He had long, pronounced lines running beneath his eyes, an earring in his left ear, with a dark blue tank top, and black sweatpants. Kakashi stood up strait and stared at the man.
"Oh, that was you. I'm Itachi."
Till next time. Laters. I own nothing.
