"Step away from the two princes."

Itachi and Kakashi turned to see a large wolf next to a woman. Kakashi smiled and thanked the gods to see the Inuzuka leader. She glared down at the king of the monkeys. What a stupid king. "Leave them be or suffer my rath."

"Tsume, queen of the forests. What business do you have with these two miscreants?" Sarutobi asked with a frown. She scoffed and laughed loudly. "What is so funny?"

"I have no business with them except that you have driven them to my land. Not to mention he trespassed into my forest as did you," Tsume yelled down to him. Sarutobi frowned deeply as he thought of a way to take them. "Leave or you shall suffer."

"Very well, we shall," the old man responded raising his hand in retreat. His men turned and started to retreat. Tsume whistled with an evil grin. As she did wolves descended upon the evil king and his men. Kakashi and Itachi clung to each other and fell to the ground. "You lying bitch! How dare you attack when we gave way to your threats. You shall be damned in hell for this!"

"And let the devil welcome me with open arms!" Tsume laughed hysterically. The two princes lay on the ground until everything went silent. Itachi lifted his head and looked around, cringing at the stench of blood. "Well, you two are coming with me then."

"Thank you Lady Tsume. We owe you our lives," Itachi stated helping up his fiance. They bowed to the amazon woman before following her into the forest behind. "Where are we going?"

"To my village hidden in this forest. Your parents await us," Tsume answered leading the way. Silence filled the air as they walked. Then music could be heard through the trees. Kakashi looked around in awe as they walked into a village made of trees. "It is hidden unless I permit you to see it."

"It's beautiful," Kakashi spoke quietly. The forest queen turned to him with a smile. She led them to an old oak, with branches as high as the sun and as far as the eye could see. "It's truly beautiful."

"Thank you," she replied leading them into the opening at the base of the tree. Kakashi looked around curiously as he heard giggles and laughter of small girls. He looked around at the villagers curiously. All of them were women, who were looking at the visitors curiously. "So you've noticed we're all women? Strange huh?"

"A bit," Kakashi answered looking around still. "Why are there only women?"

"We Inuzuka are notorious for scaring away any males that come near us. We find a man, have a child, then he runs off with his tail between his legs. Not that we care. Our life is just fine as it is. Until I was chosen as the village leader because of that," Tsume explained pointing somewhere. Kakashi looked to see the boy who kidnapped him weeks ago. "Kiba is the only male in our clan. He is our only male survivor. Usually they die after they're born. But he didn't. Now he's shaping up to be the next clan leader and first king of the forests."

"That's incredible," Itachi stated with a smirk. He coughed as he was tackled by a blur. "Hello mother."

"Thank goodness you're safe. I was so worried about you and Kakashi," Mikoto sobbed hugging him and his betrothed. "Your fathers are both safe as well as your brothers and sister."

"Thank the gods. Kakashi you're alive," Tsuyoi's voice filled Kakashi's ears. He turned to see his family together in the great oak. He ran to them letting tears of relief flow. "It's alright. We're fine."

"I was so worried," Kakashi sobbed hugging them. He felt the slow shaking of his sister alerting him to her sobs. "Utsukushi, it's okay. I'm safe, you're safe, and we're all together again. Don't cry or worry anymore."

"I am just so relieved," the small girl replied hugging him tightly. Itachi smiled at seeing his love so happy. He then turned to his family with a smile. Sasuke glared at him angrily.

"Why do you glare at me Sasuke?" Itachi asked walking over to them. He stopped as a single tear fell down his brother's cheek. "Sasuke?"

"You scared me to death foolish brother," Sasuke growled as he hugged his brother. They stood clinging to each other as the younger let tears flow freely from his eyes. "Don't you ever do that again. Or else I'll come after you and kill you myself."

"I promise I shall do no such thing again brother," Itachi replied with a small smile. The rest of the night was spent partying and singing in the forest. Itachi smiled as he watched Kakashi dance with a small girl. She pulled him around making him lean over to keep up.

"Sarutobi is dead then?" came his fathers quiet voice next to him. He stayed silent still watching his love dance comically with the small girl only nodding to answer his father. "And Kakuzu?"

"I have no sure proof that he was slaughtered by the wolves as well. But I would not count on that. I have my suspicions that he followed us into this forest and is trying to find us as we speak. That Creature would never be killed so easily as long as Kakashi is still alive. He'll stop at nothing to get his hands or fangs on my Kakashi," Itachi whispered coolly. His father sighed in defeat at his son's words. "Father, we cannot stay here long. We will endanger the inhabitants of this forest the longer we stay. You know this, and yet, you still came here. Why would you come to a forest where the people would be put in danger for shielding us?"

"We had no other choice. We had to come here. Tsume even said she would fight for us if need be. I did not by any means want to endanger these women," Fugaku replied sadly. Itachi smiled as Kakashi hopped in a circle with the young girl. He felt sadness envelope him as he thought of the amazon women in terrible danger because of them. He sighed and turned to his father. "Itachi?"

"Father who else is against us?" the young prince asked. His father frowned and thought for a moment.

"The monkey kingdom and its ally the Hyuuga. If any others exist I am unaware of them," he answered quietly as the song ended and everyone clapped. "Very good! Now, let me show you youngsters how to dance."

"Oh no you don't," Sakumo challenged pulling his wife. The kings and their queens danced fiercely together as everyone watched. During the distraction Itachi sneaked over to Kakashi and pulled him away from the merry crowd.

"Itachi, what's wrong?" Kakashi asked as he was pulled far from the warm fires and cheery crowds. He turned to his lover in confusion. "What is it?"

"It's been far too long since I tasted your skin," Itachi growled possessively as he pinned Kakashi to a tree. "I shall enjoy having you out here if you permit it."
