Okay, I'm really, really sorry about the length of time it took me to update this. I've been busy with schoolwork and just stupid family stuff. I own nothing and hope you enjoy. Again I'm sorry for how long it took for this to come out.
"I wish I had met you under different circumstances."
"Well, i could make that happen," came the terrifying voice. Itachi looked up with a frown.
"What do you want, monster?" the prince growled as he looked at the hideous creature above him.
"Simple, i want you dead and my prize," the psychotic man declared with a snarl. With a smile he leaped to the ground and glared at the young men. "Look at you. Naked, hopeless, face it. You're nothing now. You have no way of protecting him."
"Kakuzu, if so much as touch him, I swear to you. I swear that you will never see the light of day again. You will never feel the warmth of flesh or the cool breeze of the wind. I will destroy you so completely that you will be written out of history," the panther growled as he stood carefully so as to not wake his sleeping love. He glared at the creature, ready to pounce. Before the Prince could twitch he was on the ground, his head throbbing uncontrollably.
"Didn't think I would come alone, did you? How else would i be able to find you in this enchanted forest if not for other, equally powerful, magic," the large figure declared walking in front of the prince. He stopped and knelt. "I always get what I want."
"Let us go and take the Inuzuka. They party and celebrate with no inclination of our presence," Hiashi declared walking away. Kakuzu smiled as he dressed Kakashi and carried him away. When they reached the large oak tree the amazons had disappeared. "They must have known we are here. Take him and leave. Send the army."
"As you wish your highness," Kakuzu growled as he left the forest. Moments later found the forest being invaded and torn down as the Hyuga invaded. They searched and searched as they found none of the Inuzuka.
"Find them!" Hiashi yelled as they destroyed the forest. Itachi groaned and sat up as he woke up. He looked around and frowned as he saw the forest in ruins. A choked sob escaped the panther as he tried to breath and take in the sight of the destroyed scene. His heart became terribly heavy as he looked at the forest. The hard work and long years the Inuzuka had taken for their forest was now wasted.
"Father?!" Itachi yelled as he ran around the rubble. Itachi searched for hours and hours until he collapsed from exhaustion. Everyone was gone. His mother, his father, his brother and Kakashi had been kidnapped again. How could he protect him? Kakuzu had been right. He'd been useless to everyone and now they were gone. "Damn it."
"Well, I knew I'd find something, but not this. Itachi, the mighty Uchiha. My, my, how the great ones fall," came the annoying voice from behind him. Itachi struggled to look at the man who had caused all of this misfortune.
"Gai, you bastard. What are you doing here?" he hissed letting venom fill his tired voice.
"You see Itachi, I have come for you. My job is to ensure you are dead. But I believe that Kakashi will want to see you when you die," Gai answered wrapping a blanket around the naked prince and picking him up. He carried his captive for days on end. Itachi faded in and out of consciousness until he was dropped in warm water. His eyes flew open and he looked around coughing up water the water he had inhaled. "Good, you're still alive. I was worried that I'd killed you on the way here."
"Gai, where have you taken me?" Itachi growled as he looked around again. He was in a castle of some sorts that much he could tell from the walls.
"You have been brought to the mighty kingdom of the Hyuga. Here, you will be publicly executed after you reveal the location of the Inuzuka and your family," the green clad man explained with a sadistic smile. Itachi felt himself brighten as he heard that his family and friends were still alive. "They're alive for now."
"I will never tell you where they are. Even if it meant my death, I would never tell you," Itachi countered. He spit at Gai's feet and smiled at his disgust.
"That was rude," the other man declared with a back hand to the prince's face. "After you're cleaned, the torture begins."
"Damn you to hell!" the panther yelled after his enemy. He looked at the water and nodded. It was drowning or dying of torture. Itachi nodded to himself again as he decided. He plunged his face into the water and held himself under waiting for himself to loose his air. He finally felt the last of his air leave his mouth and waited for the water to fill his lungs. Then he was pulled out of the water and thrown on the ground. Itachi sat coughing up water as he breathed. He looked up and glared at the Hyuga. "What do you want?"
"I want the kingdoms of the Uchiha and Hatake. Then I will be the most powerful man in the land," Hiashi declared with an evil smile. He let out a disapproving scoff as he looked down at the prince. "You're pathetic family will fall at my hand and you will be the first."
"I would rather die than see my father's kingdom fall into your treacherous hands, you backstabbing urchin!" the panther yelled as he spit at the man. He groaned as a hand met his face with a hard smack. "I will never tell you where they are. I would sooner die."
"Then die you shall," Hiashi growled as he kicked Itachi. "Guards! Bring him to the chamber and get Nagato!"
"Yes my lord," several guards replied as Hiashi left. Itachi glared at the pair of guards walked in and pulled him upright. They dragged him down hallways and staircases until they came to a cold damp room far under the others. Itachi scoffed as he looked at the room full of torture devices.
"Pathetic. You call this a torture chamber?" he asked with a small laugh. "Please just kill me now. This is pathetic."
"Well, we will kill you, but not yet." came a strange voice Itachi didn't know. He looked and saw a man with bright red hair who was rather frail. "Bring the other one as well. Tell Kakuzu that I am taking him."
"Yes sir," the guards responded before walking away. Itachi glared at the red head. He gasped as he was suddenly lifted in the air and drifted over to one of the devices.
"You will know pain Itachi Uchiha," Nagato declared twitching his fingers and securing his prisoner to the torture device. The both looked as the guards returned with Kakashi in hand. He was still unconscious. Itachi felt his heart leap at the sight of his love. "Now, you will know pain."
"No! Leave him alone! He doesn't know anything!" Itachi yelled with fear. He watched trembling as Kakashi slowly woke up and spotted him immediately. "Kakashi, I'm sorry."
"Itachi? No, no, no, no, no," Kakashi sobbed as he looked at his fiance in the device. The cuffs around his wrists and ankles made it worse. The silver prince felt tears roll down his face. "Let him go."
"He has vital information that Lord Hiashi wants. I will let him go when he has given me such information or has died," Nagato declared walking over to Kakashi. He waved the guards away and flicked one finger. With the flick of that finger Kakashi was in the air.
"Please, he knows nothing," Itachi yelled as he watched the other prince float through the air. "Just let him go."
"I cannot," Nagato replied. He carefully twiddled his fingers and Kakashi was placed on a long plank of wood. His hands and feet were tied on the other side making it so he could not move them.
"Stop," Itachi begged as he watched Nagato grab a whip. "Please, I beg you. He knows nothing!"
"Whether or not he knows anything is not relevant. Whether you speak the truth or not about your family will be his release," the red head declared raising the whip. Itachi shook his head and sobbed as he watched the leather meet Kakashi's pale skin.
"Stop it!" Itachi yelled, pulling at his restraints as Kakashi's back was opened by the cruel man. "STOP IT!"
