"They came back" Atreus said after Kratas killed the walkers."It is finished" the old war goddess said."I want to leave" Atrues said softly and Naruto nodded looking up."I need you to climb up there and let the rope down" Naruto said and Atreus nodded as he climb up moving slowly mind immersed in thoughts.

"I didn't want him to take a life so early. . . In such an environment" Naruto said and Kratas frowned."There is no way to good way to prepare to take a life" Kratas said quietly "Just do it and close your heart to it" She repeated the mantra she learned in her Spartan training."You know Atreus loves to much to just close his heart" Naruto said.

Atreus after some nudging dropped the chain and Kratas and Naruto climbed the chain."I'm not giving up. I can do this. I just have to… you know… catch my breath. Come on up. I'm ready" Atreus said."Listen to me…" Kratas said, taking Atreus' shoulder."To be effective in combat, a warrior must not feel for his enemy. The road ahead is long and unforgiving… no place for a boy. You must be a warrior".

"I understand" Atreus said steeling his heart.

The three continue to make their way on a bridge and saw a creature being ushered by a blue dwarf."Get up and move your ass! I'll kick you square in the ringer you don't move! C'moooooon! Whatcha waitin' for? C'mon already! LET'S GO! Whatcha waitin' for? C'mon already! Let's go! Grrrrrahhhh!" The dwarf growled.

"Huh why I never. . . . is that you Brok?" Naruto said and the dwarf paused."Is that Big Odinson Naruto? . . .as I live and breath" Brok grinned and the two walked up and fist bumped. "Where have you been this whole time ye blond bastard" Brok said and Naruto frowned."Got threw in Tartarus by a greek titan asshole after I slept with his daughter" Naruto said and Kratas kicked his shin and Kurama laughed.

"Ow sorry" Naruto grumbled as Kratas eyes narrowed.Kratas hated that Aphrodite slept with her husband but stuffed it down. . .till Atreus was out of ear range."But that aside what problem got you here" Naruto asked and Brok scowled."Can't get this sloe-eyed cocklump to cross the bridge! Hrmph!" Brok said and Atreus looked at the beast and the treelines.

"It's scared of something over there by the trees" Atreus said and the former God of the Wild narrowed in by the trees."He's right. ." Naruto said take out Lunaria and threw into the treeline and killed something

before he summoned it back to him.

"Hey… you must be smart or somethin', boy. You are a boy aren'tcha?" Brok said before slapping the hind of the creature. "She has a name?" Atrues asked and Brok shook his head.

"I dunno. Rude bastard ain't ever asked mine so I ain't ever asked hers. HAAA!!" Brok said and Kurama rubbed the bridge of his nose."Vera logn" Atrues said and the beast began moving."Say… you're not gonna believe me but uh… that axe you got, uh? It was me what made her - me and my brother. Was one of our best. So don't let nobody else go work on her except for us two." Brok said.

"Really? I knew you made Sol and Lunaria from the remnants from those mindless ol giants but not the Levithan Axe" Naruto said surprised and Brok nodded."Yea so you gotta handle her special or she'll wreck beyond fixin'. . .I can enhance her for you right now if it so pleases you sons of bitch. So what say you?" Brok said to Kratas.

"You believe to easily beloved" Kratas said and Brok gestured to Naruto."Just like ye boy toy there's a fork on the pommel of ya axe" Brok said and the god duo blinked in surprise.Taking out Sol and Leviathan they said there was indeed a fork on the bottom of their pommels.

"Aw… digr bikkja! Dumbr bak-rauf!" Brok said to the beast before turning back to the couple "That was our brand my brother and me, before we split. I got half of it right here – see?" Brok said taking out half of a fork "Look, you want upgrade her or not?".

"Still think the argument is stupid" Naruto huffed and Brok scoffed."Like ya know you blond bimbo" Brok said and Kratas nodded to herself.

Fuck that short bluebeard bastard.

"Very well. .I expect an improvement" The goddess of war."So. . .what argument?" Atreus asked and Brok scoffed."Oh, my dumb brother's got it. But I got all the talent. Look! Let's get to it! Try that on for size…" Brok said offering Atreus some new fur pelts.

Naruto and Kratas got some new armor and got their weapons upgraded."Where you get that Claymore" Brok asked and Naruto frowned and Kratas growled."It's a long story. . . something the old bastard knows about" Naruto said with a scowl looking at his cursed blade.

"So.Kurama where the broad?" Brok asked and the mood became somber."She's uh. . .resting in Valhalla" Naruto said and Brok eyes widened and he looked down."Oh well uh. . .sorry about that" Brok said and the kitsune shook his head."Its fine. .I'll just pray for her spirit" Kurama said and Naruto nodded.

Suddenly a groaning noise was heard and the group turned and saw more of the creatures from the treelines."Well, don't look now but our friends who were hiding in the trees are back for more! Go on, give them tools a twirl!" Brok said and Naruto and Kratas stepped up.

"Got room for me behind there?" Atreus asked and Brok shrugged."So long as you don't break nothing" Brok said and the boyoved behind the counter.

Naruto spun Sol and Lunaria and Naruto looked to his friend."Hey so let's see if these two can handle our linked form" He said to the kitsune who nodded and began to glow.Naruto tattoos glowed gold and a light blue aura coated him and Naruto eyes reflected that.

This is Naruto Beast Form:Kurama.Its mode that drastically boosted his physical stats and giving him regeneration while it decreased his control over his godly magic and spells.Naruto flexed his hands and blitzed forward and cut two of them down in a trail of fire and ice.

Kratas swing her axe and in a explosion of frost and ice crushed one of the creature with her axe.Pulling it out she turned and threw it with one arm and splitting the head of another.Naruto jumped up and slammed down creating a pulse of energy that burned the rest to a crisp.

"Y'see?! See what my touch brung? Say your ma and pa can KILL! You gonna learn to do that too?" Brok asked and Atrues then frowned."I'm not sure" he responded and Kratas walked up.

"This path leads to the mountain?" Kratas asked and Brok nodded."Should put you on the right path" The blue blacksmith said and Naruto grinned."Thanks for the help then Brok" Naruto said as they all left the warehouse.

". . .i dont like him" Kratas said and Naruto laughed and wrapped his arm around his waist."Since when do you like anyone on the first meet Miss Grumpy" Naruto said remembering their own fight when they first met."I don't know. . . Atreus was pretty cool when we met" She said and Naruto deflated while Atreus grinned.

"You left us to fight" Kratas said to Atrues who looked down."I did" he said and his mother looked at him."People are one thing. Everything else, you fight… until I say stop or we are dead. Understand? Pull your weight or we go home" Kratas said firmly and Atrues nodded.

"Yes ma'am" Atrues said.

They came up on some stray dragurs and Atrues drew his bow."Lets see if your aim is better" Naruto said as he drew Lunaria and threw it and pierced the head of one as Kratas walked up and tore the head off another."Over there Father. .Nista!" Atrues said firing off a arrow which stunned a dragurs before Naruto stabbed it and tore it in two.

"Nice work boy" Naruto said patting his son on the back with a grin.The family and fox traveled through a cave."I was sure we wasn't gonna make it" Atrues said and Kratas frowned before smiling."Trust I am not gonna let you die" Kratas and Naruto said together.

Atrues eyes widened when he took in the view of a lush mountain area."Wow I've never been this close to the mountain before. .it's so big" the young said and the kitsune smiled."Kyu would've loved this place" Kurama said gently to the nods of the parents.

Naruto notes how Kratas tried to go for a hug with Atreus but stops herself."She's still stuck in her Spartan training" Naruto thought.Naruto breaking the ice pulled both his wife and son into a tight hug.

"Let's go and climb this mountain eh?" Naruto said and the group continued their way going through puzzles along the way using Atreus and Naruto help since. . .

"Ya know it's still funny you can't read" Naruto said and Kratas huffed and Atrues chuckled."When they took me from the Isle of the Amazon they told me a Spartan need not education" Kratas said and Naruto nodded in understanding.

Suddenly the ground shook and Naruto grabbed Atreus and leaped out the way of a burning Pillar that Kratas caught with her superior strength."Woah!" Atrues said as he looked at the troll Brenna Dauði or Burning Death.

Kratas snarled and threw the pillar up and the troll off balance and Naruto sat Atreus down and launched at the troll and kicked him down.Landing on the stomach Naruto drew Sol and stabbed the giant.The troll yelled as his stomach was burnt.

The troll grabbed Naruto and threw him to Kratas who caught him."Awww my hero" Naruto said only for his beloved wife to drop him."Focus up" She said and tossed the Leviathan Axe into his shoulder."Fine be like that" Naruto said and the couple raised their hand in unison.

Sol vanished in an explosion of flames and the Leviathan Axe was yanked out of the troll towards Kratas taking a chunk of flesh with it.The troll then stumbled as one of Atreus arrows sank into its eye."Good shot my boy" Naruto said as he tossed Lunaria at the troll feet which exploded in a large chunk of ice.

Naruto and Kratas ran towards the troll and leaped at it.Kratas took one horn and punched the troll on the face.Naruto took the other ans kicked it.This continued for a bit til Naruto and Kratas nodded towards each other.Taking the horns firmly with their hands they leaped off the head and twisted their body snapping Brenna Dauði head cleanly backwards.

The giant then fell to the floor with a loud thud.Looking around where the giant came from Kratas noticed a chest."Its locked" the war goddess noted "What does it says" she asked her son."The runes symbolize the three Nornir" Atreus said. "Nornir?" asked Kratas.

"The fates" Naruto said and he frowned when Kratas violently flinched."Nothing good comes from the fates" Kratas hissed and Naruto nodded and Atrues looked a bit confused at the defensive stance his mother took.

"Alright let's get on with this. . .we still have a long road ahead" Kurama said and the family continued their way not seeing a crow watching them nearby.
