I had yet to have officially met the girl although, I fear that I may have intimidated her a bit. She's a special girl she is, much different than any human I've met or drank from for that matter. I remember when she first walked through these doors, she was resembled that of a walking corpse. It was scary to see her the way she was. It was scary to know that a human could even reach that point of malnutrition. Her eyes seemed hunted by grief and sadness, as if she had lost someone or something that meant a great deal to her. I guess you could say that's the only reason we made that deal with her, not only because she was our mate, but also because my wives hoped that maybe we could fill her life with at least a glimmer of light. Maybe make her look a bit more...human, I guess you could say. I do wonder, however, just why she even made that deal with us in the first place, we were of no threat to her or her family. We only wanted to talk with that Cullen boy and his sister.

I would have plenty of time to get all the answers I needed out of her, soon enough. I made plans to take her on a lovely stroll throughout my garden, and maybe even show her my favorite place to go to, to sit and watch the sunset. I feel that the the sun setting is more beautiful then the sun rising, they're both of equal function and beauty, but I just find a sunset more beautiful.

It wasn't long before I heard a pair of feet making it's way towards here, I could hear Sulpicia trying to converse with the girl. Although, it doesn't sound like she's in the mood to b conversing with anyone.

"I hope you'll enjoy your time in Athenodora's garden as much as I do." I heard Sulpicia say. "I know you'll truly enjoy it."

Sulpicia appeared on the path leading up to the gazebo I was residing in with Bella, Sulpicia grinned when she saw me. She was always happy to see Didyme or I, even if it was only a brief period or time we were separated. Bella however looked shy and nervous, which was understandable, this would be her first time interacting with me alone, since coming here.

"You look beautiful my loves, positively ravishing." I wanted to take Bella's hand in mine and kiss it, but I was unsure of what her reaction would be, so I did not. Sulpicia however I just pulled into a kiss. To be honest I think that's the way we all greet each other, but if you loved these women as much as I did, you'd be doing the same.

Sulpicia was the first to pull away, she knew continuing on any more would lead to other grinned the leaned in and whispered into my ear, "Have fun." She went over to Bella and gave her a small hug. "Until we see each other again." She said, then left.

I turned my attention to the human girl in front of me, nervousness radiated from her. She looked down at the ground,biting her lips, and fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.

I cleared my throat to capture her attention."Bella, it's a pleasure to finally officially meet you."

"Me too." Was all she said in a small voice.

I smiled and offered her my arm. "If you please."

She hesitated, but then went ahead and hooked her arm with mine anyways. "I thought it would be best, if we got to know each other a little better by taking a nice walk through my garden." We started towards a familiar pathway. "I also thought that maybe I could show you one of Italy's many hidden surprises."

"Like what?"

I chuckled."You'll see."

We were silent for a bit, it wasn't one of those awkward silences you get, when you've run out of things to talk about. No, it was a comfortable silence, an...enjoyable one. I looked over at her, she was marveling at all the flowers, her eyes danced in fascination as they admired my garden.

"You like?"

"This amazing, this is the most beautiful garden I've ever seen, not even all the ones i've seen online could ever compare to this." She mused.

"Ones online?"

'Yeah, my mom wasn't much of a gardener, she always tried to, but the plants never lasted long." She chuckled.

"Well just have your mom pay me a visit, and i'll show her all the nicks and canny of gardening."

"I don't think that'll help either, I guess you could say she just doesn't have a green thumb like you do." Bella laughed.

"Well come along now, theres more in this garden that i'm sure will very much delight you even further."

"Okay."She giggled.

I was happy to see her smiling and enjoying herself so much, she deserved it. Especially with the events that are soon to occur, I wanted her to have somewhere she could go to, to relax, clear her mind. I don't care whether or not she accepts us as her mates, what's ours is hers. She may banish us from ever being in her presence, but we will still ensure that she lives a long and prosperous life. I glanced over at her, she was grinning from ear to ear, her head moved that way and that, as she continued to take in the scenery. A sense of pride overfilled me as when I saw how joyful she was, I loved her, god I loved her so much it hurt. She does not know how deep our affections for her are yet, but soon she will. It didn't take long for us to reach our destination, a door hidden by overgrown plants and ferns. It led to another part of my garden, a hidden part. It was the part of the garden that where the guard weren't allowed inside , in any circumstances, this was the part of the garden only my wives and I were allowed in.

"I wanted to show you something, Bella, something I think you'll very much enjoy." I produced a key, and unlocked the door. It creeked and groaned, then finally shuddered open.

A lovely setup of fruits and candles awaited us under a stone canopy, the canopy was set so that one would have a perfect outlook over the village and the sky. It resembled one of those romantic scenes in American movies, but better, more elegant. I had recently brought one of those circular outdoor couches that could swing, and would now finally have the chance to put it to good use. It could get extremely cold at night, so I had made sure there was at least one blanket set out to be used. One large blanket perfect for cuddling to be exact.

"This is beautiful! Athenodora, you didn't have to do this for me!" She exclaimed.

"But of course my love, you deserve it. It was about time you saw something different from stone walls and heavy drapes."

"Well, thank you, I love it." She sat down.

"Good, now I know I have done well." I handed her the plate of fruits and joined her on the couch.

I have to admit I got a little bit aroused when started on the strawberries. I couldn't help, but watch the way her lips moved to take each piece of fruit into her life. Now I know how much of turn on it is to watch a woman eat fruit, I guess that's one very few things westerners got right in their movies. Very few things to be clear. A harsh breeze blew pasts us, sending her skin into a wild frenzy of goosebumps she shivered a little as she began to look around for anything she could use to cover with. Thank goodness I brought that blanket.

"The temperature tends to drop as the evening begins to come to an end."I covered us both with the blanket."Thats why I made sure that a blanket would be out here."

Things were going just as I planned, after Sulpicia was boasting all about how Bella kissed her, I decided why not try and make a move on her now. Maybe who knows it'll make her feel the bond more and faster.

I smiled, and decide to be a bit bold and intertwined my hands with hers. She didn't say anything,but she didn't move her hands either."Look, mi amore, look up at the sky. Don't you just love it?"

She looked up and awed in amusement, the sky had turned into beautiful hues of pinks, and blues, and yellows. It slowly begin to morphe into darker shades signifying the beginning of night.

"Beautiful, is it not That's one of the amazing things about Italy, beautiful sunsets, and beautiful sunrises."

"It must be amazing to live here, to see that every night as you please." She continued to look up at the sky.

"It is, a peaceful way to the end the day isn't it?" Little did she know that one day she will be free to come here whenever she pleases and enjoy the beggining or the ending of a day. Oh if only.

We were stayed silent for a while, basking in the beauties of Italy. I had a hard time containing my joy, when she had moved closer to me, and snuggled into my side. I leaned back so she could be in a more comfortable position, I could tell that she was getting a bit tired, her eyelids getting heavier and heavier by the moment. To say I was overjoyed would be an understatement, I don't think there are any words adequate enough that can describe how happy I am at the moment. I may not have gotten a kiss, like I was aiming for, but I still got something worthwhile.

"I'm not asleep, if that's what you're thinking." She mumbled.

I stroked her head."Doesn't sound like it, you sound very drowsy to me."

She sat up, but did not move away."How about now?" She smirked a little.

"Convincing, enough."

She let out a small chuckle, but snuggled into me further."I have a feeling that if I were to fall asleep, you'd just carry me to my bedroom."

"Of course, there would be no reason to wake you, when I could just carry you."

"And if I wanted to walk?"

"Well I'd simply walk with you, make sure you are not harmed"

She seemed to think for a minute, but then, she moved closer so that our foreheads touched. She slanted her a head a little, so it looked as if we were...

"And if what I said I wanted to youto kiss me goodnight?"

"I would gladly do so." I caressed her cheek.

"Good."

And just like that our lips touched.

I did not mean to have overpowered her, but god was she delicious. I made sure I was careful with her, knowing very well it would not take much to possibly break her in half. I knew that I could only continue to kiss her for a short time, before I would lose control, and well have things lead to other things.

She was bit reluctant at first, but pulled away, gasping for her breath. She smiled, and nuzzled my neck."Thank you, I very much enjoyed myself."

"Always, mi amore, always."

I knew exactly where I would find my bookworm of a wife, she was probably rereading one her many collections of books. Each year for her birthday, Athenodora and I try to find something new for her to read. The difficulty of doing so vastly depends on what she was currently interested in.

I found her in her favorite armchair, the one next to the window, according her it had the best scenery. Her legs were propped up on the arms of the chair, whereas her torso rested on the other arm. She did not look up from her book when I came in, she merely held out her hand.

"My love," I kissed her hand, slowly making a trail towards her lips."I have enticing news for you."

"Oh really, and what would that be?" She put her book down, so it was facedown on her chests.

"We are close, so very close." I grinned.

"Close to what?" She stroked my cheek.

"Well the guards we posted to observe Seattle as reported back to us. They think they might have come across the ring leader of all this newborn army mess, occurring."

"That's great, were they able to find out what their planning? Why their doing this?"

"No, nothing of that sort, but at least we have somewhere to start." I sighed and sat on the ground next to her chair, she moved so that my head would be between her legs. Immediately she began running her fingers through my hair.

I smiled, even letting out a purr. "You don't have to do that."

She bent down to kiss me."I must, you know much how much I like to show my affection, my love for my wives."

"Hmmm, seems like theres more to it than that."

She sighed, but did not stop."I'm afraid we have harder days ahead of us Sulpicia. Our ability to protect those we love will be tried greatly."

I hesitated to reply, knowing what she said was true, very true, especially in the matter of our new human mate."We will protect her, we will do everything in our power to protect her."

I felt her kiss the top of my head, then moved to massaging my back. Something she did only when she knew I was close to losing my temper. It was her way of calming me, preventing me from making rash decisions."
