Chapter 3, Genshin Impact is introduced to Anakin Skywalker. Still thinking how to progress this story forward, especially character development. For this chapter, things be getting interesting!

Aether POV

What's with the sneakiness? Paimon asks, just as Kaeya runs off like the wind.

"Huh, better go follow him I guess" And to the courtyard we go, something doesn't seem right, he's never like this. Running to meet with him, I can't help but feel as if this is related to that strange explosion Amber and I heard earlier today..?

Earlier that day

"...Make sure you obey the rules. Whatever you do, don't get your license revoked" Amber finished explaining things.

"Oh brother... If you ask me, that's a bit rich, coming from Amber..." Paimon replies, more funnier than usual. Turning to Amber "Well then, looks like things are about to get-"

"Boom..!"

"Whoa! What was that?" Paimon asks, confused by the faint, yet loud, noise. "I don't know guys, but it can't be good..." Amber answers, a look of concern on her face, not a good sign.

Present

Catching up with Kaeya in the courtyard, our quiet meeting begins.

"This place will do" He starts, "Tell us what it's about already!" Paimon asks, a little too loudly. "How should I begin... Oh, right, let me tell you a secret first..."

So, long story short, we're looking for a lost pirate sword, which, might not even exist.

"...We're looking for a sword that fell from Celestia... One that can kill eight-headed banshees and silver-haired hydras." Paimon explains to the man, an adventurer named, Cyrus. "It's super, mega, uber powerful!" She finishes.

"You've said too much" I say, giving her the hint. "It's fine! As long as Paimon doesn't tell them the treasure's location!" She continues "So, Cyrus, do you know where the Lost Arcadian Ruins are supposed to be?" "Now she's done it..." I think to myself.

Unknowing to us, our conversation has been leaked.

Minutes later

On our way to the Whispering Woods, an informant is waiting for us, we better be fast.

"Look, Traveler! She's in trouble!" Paimon alerts me, pointing to a woman being chased by three Hilichurls!

"On it!" I yell, using Wind Blade to cripple them first before switching to my sword to finish them off quickly. "Are you okay?" I ask the woman, Vile, making sure the creatures are gone, "Why is this happening to me? I shouldn't have helped him..." she says.

"Him who?" Paimon asks, maybe it's Kaeya? "Well, more like 'them' but mostly the one who sent me here, the other one was some guy near the ruins I had to help, probably spooked by that sound or something" Vile explains, brushing dust off her clothes.

"Near the ruins? Spooky sound? Does she mean that explosion from earlier?" I wonder, not trying to get too distracted.

"Anyway, listen well then, the intel on the Arcadian Ruins..."

Now on our way back to Kaeya, I can't help but think about what Vile said earlier, that guy near that old temple ruin, could he have? From this morning? No, I don't think so, it could just be a coincidence, right?

Thousand Winds Temple

"By the gods... What happened here?" A Knight asked himself, looking at the ruins of the...ruins. Sent here to investigate the mysterious sound, the lone Knight continues to search for clues.

"...! What..the..?" Then he sees it, wrecked metal, lots of it, the remains of an Automaton! "My...gods.." In disbelief, he examines the mangled machine, more specifically, what's on the metal.

"Are these...burns..?" He looks carefully, parts of the metal covered with scorch marks, as if severed by a hot knife, or...sword?

As the Knight of Favonius continues to investigate, he goes on unaware, of another knight, watching from afar, before turning away and heading off...to Falcon Coast!

Aether POV - Springvale

"How much further? Paimon's legs are getting tired!" My small friend declared, not that it wasn't true. "You don't even have legs, besides, we're almost there" I tell her climbing up the last cliff "Hey! That wasn't nice!" she yelled back.

Making it over the top, I can clearly see the chest, just behind a few trees. "Looks like we're at the right place" I said, walking over to the second chest "That's wasn't so-"

Next thing you know, Ameno Slimes take us by surprise.

"Whoa! This again!?" Paimon yells, recalling the several times this situation has occurred. "Knew this was too easy" I thought with a sigh "Let's get this over with" getting my sword ready, I run into the action.

Anakin POV - Falcon Coast

"Agh...heck" Laying back against the stone walls of a cave I found, I slide down and take a seat, recounting the journey I've had so far...

Some time ago

Leaving that old temple and heading what I presume is south, I walk old paths and worn down structures, making sure to avoid any 'unwanted company'.

Making it to a cliff, the view of a coastline welcomes me "Wow...If only they were here.." I thought to myself, longing for my old family. Not in any kind of mood for swimming, I walk along the shore, avoiding those strange creatures with masks.

"Hm, must be the world here" I assumed, continuing my walk until I find a trace of who I seek, unaware of the fact that I have stepped into the water.

"Woosh! FREEZE*" "Agh!" Caught by surprise, I feel my legs freeze just before seeing these strange slime creatures appear from nowhere. "I got a bad feeling about this" I said to myself, doing my best not to fall over.

With the slime creatures approaching(Cryo), 3 more appear, out of nowhere? "I'm not looking for any trouble, just passing thro-"

"Electric buzzing sound*"

"...Never mind" activating my lightsaber, I figured that this would make a good use of practice "Nice meeting you guys" I tell them, just before putting them down.

"Bzzz!" Deflecting the electric strike of the main purple one, I backflip back onto dry land, remembering the basic science between water and electricity.

"Here we go" I think aloud, and ready myself for this short fight.

Present

"...Heh, I guess that was fun" I tell myself, chuckling for a while, flinching as the pain on my shoulder reminds of my major wound. "Agh...great, so much for a first day" I thought, trying to ignore smell of either my slightly burnt clothes, or the ashes I've left nearby.

Chapter 3 has ended, just to make sense of things, the story will revisit the end of this chapter, what Anakin meant by, 'ashes'. And for a heads up, Skywalker meets the characters of Genshin Impact next chapter. P.S. I welcome reviews on my story and stuff.
