A Wild and Freaky Girl
Danny had returned home from his date with Kimiko. Going to his desk, he decided to give Kimiko her ranking.
He ranked her a 7, if only because she lives extremely far away thanks to this temple she lives in and that he realizes she goes around the world finding these magical weapons and battle for them.
He managed to get a good idea of what she does from that brief showdown he was a part of and realized her going around the world might make a relationship difficult.
Then there's the risk of coming across Katnappe again. She's pretty but she's also clearly a troublemaker. He thought.
He paused as he typed.
"Okay, not only is Kimiko's voice familiar, but Katnappe I just realized sounds familiar too." He said to himself.
Danny sat back, questioning just where he heard those voices.
Kimiko's sounds like a voice I've heard everywhere. Katnappe's sounds… oddly distinct. He thought.
That's when his phone went off.
"Hey, Tucker." He greeted him over the phone.
"Sup?" He heard Tucker say casually.
"How'd it go?" Danny asks.
"Eh, this one was just ok." Tucker responded.
"Really? Who was it?" Danny asks.
"Some girl named Tina Belcher. Her mom took her on a trip to get away from some guy she likes who's a real pain." Tucker explained.
"Huh, mine was named Kimiko Tohomiko. She takes marti-"
"HOLD ON!" Tucker went, causing Danny to flinch. "You got the daughter of the head of Tohomiko Electronics?!"
"Uh… yeah?" Danny went.
"No fair! All I got is this girl, who sounds like a guy, who obsesses over horses and talks about how disappointing my butt is… That's not even getting into how mouthy her mom is." Tucker grumbled.
"Oh… well… at least you had 2 decent dates so far." Danny pointed out.
"Says the guy who had only 2 bad dates so far." Tucker points out.
Danny rolled his eyes at this.
"Well… tomorrow's a new day, right?" Danny asks.
"I… guess so." Tucker said before a timer went off. "Time for dinner, later."
He then hung up.
With that, Danny shrugged and looked at the next girl.
User Name: Style Queen Clawdeen
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Height: 6"6"
Weight: N/A
Home Town: New Salem
Physical Description: Tall, athletic, 16 year old girl with brown hair and golden yellow eyes.
Personality: I am confident, energetic, and fierce. I am a strong willed girl who is deeply loyal to and protective of my pack and I won't stand for anyone messing with them.
Likes and Interests: I am a fashionista and my passion lies in shopping, designing clothes and partying. I also love dancing, meat, nice full moon nights and going out at night.
Type of person I wish to date: I am tired of dealing with people who look down on even normies, and I'd love to meet a nice guy who doesn't mind me being a little freaky from time to time.
Interesting… Danny thought before seeing the name of the place again.
"New Salem?" He asked out loud. "I think Sam mentioned that it was built outside Salem, but which one?" He took another look, seeing which Salem it is regarding where he's to meet her. "Oh, that one. Still… guess I'm taking a late flight tomorrow… This says a later time than I'm used to." He said to himself.
He had no idea how special this girl was going to be.
"And guess who's joining us for this chapter? I'll give you readers a hint, it's the guy who did the Spectra story where Danny chose her as his girlfriend!" Deadpool went cheerily. "... the Monster High character… not his villain… that's so many levels of wrong…" Deadpool said.
"Right…" NeoMark said. "Welcome back, BeConFuzzled Writer."
"And here I thought I was gonna come in with a boo. Oh, well. That is for having me. How have things been since I last visited?" BCFW asked, looking over NeoMark to get a better view of things.
"Oh, I brought back Penny Proud and finally put Kimiko from Xiaolin Showdown in here." NeoMark said.
"Very nice. I remember both shows quite well. Nice touch. And today's date is…?" BCFW leaned into the display as he held a finger under today's date profile. "Ah… yes. Her."
The Next Day, 6:00pm
"Am I in the right spot?" Danny asked as he looked around, confused at the location.
He was on the street where he was supposed to meet his blind date. However, he was unsure of the choice of location to meet her, as he is in front of what looked to have been an abandoned school.
He looked at his phone to see for sure he wasn't seeing things.
No… the address is the same. But this can't be the place, can it? He thought.
"Did I take a wrong turn...or is somebody messing with me?" Danny muttered as he looked around.
Suddenly, he felt that there were eyes on him.
Why do I feel like I am being watched? He mentally wondered, feeling uneasy.
"Are you my date?" He heard a girl ask out loud.
Turning his head, the ghost boy went wide-eyed as he saw a girl run towards him. He had some unusual dates, but this girl was covered in brown fur with fangs and claws. With wavy long brown hair and black and yellow eyes, there were questions about this date.
Ok, I guess she likes to wear practice clothes for Halloween... Danny thought when he saw the girl and saw her heart sticker on.
"Hi. You wouldn't happen to be Style Queen Clawdeen, would you?" Danny asked.
"Yes, I am. And you must be D-Fenton. And that's Clawdeen and don't forget it!" The werewolf girl said to the boy with a fangy smirk, making him blink.
"That's not a costume, is it?" Danny asks, gesturing to her.
"Do I look like I'm wearing a costume?" She snarked, leaning forward as her fangs and claws were now on full display.
I'm dating a werewolf?! Danny thought as he went over some of his other dates. There was an alien, a girl from another dimension, a super soldier with a sweet tooth, and other superheroes, and now I'm dating a werewolf? What kind of program is this? He thought.
"I...I'm Danny Fenton...It's nice to meet you Clawdeen..." Danny said, only for the girl to look at him strangely. She sniffed the air around him before backing away.
"Hmmm...Have we met before? You look kinda familiar." She asked.
"I...I don't think so..." Danny said before recalling what he held in his hand. "Oh, these are for you."
"Fang-ks," Clawdeen said as she took them. She smiled, smelling the plants. "So, let's go!"
She grabbed Danny by the hand as she pulled him into the abandoned building. Normally this would be a red flag, yet he had a feeling this was normal for her. Or monsters in general.
This takes the cake for weirdest date so far… and I dated an amnesiac with ice powers. He thought in disbelief.
"Okay… for Monster High. I've mentioned this before, but of all the characters from shows featured in this version… it's the one I have least connection to or interest in. So, when it came to Monster High and the 5 works with their representatives replaced, it's the one I mostly kept because there weren't any other girls from other works I wanted to use." NeoMark said.
"Meaning?" BCF asks.
"He really wanted to put an Equestria Girls character here… but wanted to be nice and keep 5 works but replace their reps. Monster High was just the only one he kept because he had no one else." Deadpool said flatly.
"Yeah… let's see… I picked Sam from Totally Spies as Clover wasn't the kind to strike me as willing to date Danny, Daphne Blake was honestly a more important Scooby-Doo character to feature, Bridget wasn't similar enough to Sam to feel like another Sam… as for other characters I could have replaced… Jen I thought was too nice a character, Karai at the time was a baddie, I know almost nothing about As Told By Ginger… Eliza Thornberry was too young…" NeoMark said.
"You should see what he wrote about the girls he chose to take off." Deadpool said, taking out a file.
"Wait… where'd you find that?!" NeoMark asks, looking scared.
"Get this, BCF." Deadpool put on a comical pair of glasses before reading. "In it, he wrote… Debbie: Boring… Gwen TDI: Repetitive… Katie: Your own franchise hates you… Ginger: I don't know her well enough… Spectra: You'd only be here for one joke about whose name you share… Felicia: You're actually cool in other stuff, but you only had two appearances in the most middling Spider-Man cartoon ever and your actual age is likely too old… Daria: I only know you for the memes…"
NeoMark pulled the folder out of his hand with a glare.
"Don't make me get Origins' Pool in here." NeoMark warned.
Deadpool glared silently at him as BCFW's chuckling was heard.
"How very…blunt…" BCFW smiled, settling down as he cleared his throat. "So I guess the next question would be: why Clawdeen?"
"Well, like I said, I have no real connection to this series, so I asked who people would want to see replace Spectra. Clawdeen was the name I saw the most. So… yeah, that's it." Neomark said.
"If it helps, I don't have as much connection besides writing the fic…" BCFW leaned against a wall. "Nonetheless, if it's interesting, why not write it?…"
"Enough with the nerd talk. Let's start the date…" Deadpool said as he pressed play. "The readers aren't here for either of you. The only reason this part is interesting is because of me. You're welcome…"
With Danny and Clawdeen
Danny couldn't believe what he was seeing. Past the entrance to the abandoned school, Clawdeen had led him into a tunnel that pathed into what looked like a mall. There was a sky light, stores, and everything expected of such a building except everyone there were not human
"Monsters." Danny whispered. He looked around as the wolf girl guided him by his forearm.
"You got it. Still surprised I got set up with you… but it's not a total deal breaker since you're kinda cute." Clawdeen said.
"Uh… thanks…" Danny responded.
"Come on." Clawdeen said with a wave of her hand.
Danny could hear the comments from other monsters. Anyone who locked eyes with him showed surprise or resentment glaring back.
"Do I have a "glare at me" sign on my back or something?" Danny asks before he tripped over something. "Oh, so-"
He saw what it was he tripped over. It was tentacle of an squid like monster, who was dressed like teenage girl.
"Watch it, normie." This creature said in a feminine voice.
Danny only stared in disbelief.
"This is the part where you acknowledge Darkstalkers, right?" Deadpool asks.
"No." NeoMark said.
"How does this shout out to Darkstalkers?" BCFW scratched his head. "I mean, I know the cast is full of creatures of the night, and that their goals force them to fight—ohh. I think I get it now."
"It's his fault! He's the one who pushes for it so much that Capcom should make a new game and make Danny a guest fighter!" Deadpool went.
"It's been a few years since I played a game, mind answering the question of why Darkstalkers so much?" BCFW asked.
NeoMark held up his copy of Capcom Fighting Collection.
"To quote Marge Simpson… I just think they're neat." NeoMark said
The dirty looks and glares continued as they reached the diner. Even when seated, the waiter sent Danny an unwelcoming look.
"What's going on here?" Danny asks.
One male vampire walked up to him.
"You're not welcomed here, human!" The vampire insisted.
"Back off!" Clawdeen went, snarling at this bully. "He's with me today! Got it?!"
The vampire glared as more monsters voiced their complaints.
"He shouldn't be here." One whispered loudly.
Normally this would hurt, but the ghost boy had enough of this from the town to his ectoplasmic half. This was weirder, mainly due to the irony he saw in this.
"Unbelievable…" Danny muttered.
"Never been with monsters, huh?" Clawdeen asked.
"You could say that." Danny kept looking around, still processing everything. "I mean, I know ghosts exist, but I've never seen monsters outside of an alien and some… bird thing from another dimension." Danny said, unsure what Ludo was.
"In case you haven't noticed, monsters don't like normies and it goes the other way around. So, we just hang out in monster communities." Clawdeen made a circle with one claw, repeatedly. "New Salem is one of the few mixed communities that acknowledges both sides."
"Right." Danny dragged the word out as he turned his attention to the menu. Any hope in finding some sanctuary in food was lost as he looked over anything edible. Everything seemed to be the same as human food but with a pun-like name like schreechz or Al-bone-digos.
Bloodberry pie? Casketdillas? I'm probably gonna need my stomach pumped after this. He thought.
"So…Clawdeen…tell me about yourself." He needed to break the ice.
"What's to say? I go Monster High, like most of the ghouls and boos here. Fright now, I'm studying to become the next big fashionista." Clawdeen flipped her hair, posing with a hand on her hip and the other behind her head with a smile.
Danny took notice of her clothes. He was so distracted by the fact she was a werewolf, it was forgotten how dazzling the ghoul was dressed.
Compared to the ghost boy's white t-shirt and blue jeans, the wolf girl had a black crop top jacket with a white fur collar over a sparkling pink tank top. Her black skirt was mini, which he couldn't help staring at for a moment, with a fishnet trim that showed off her purple and white striped socks with open toed wedge boots. All with two good necklaces and a collar-like choker.
Even her claws were not casual, painted black with purple dots.
It's official. I have no clue about fashion and girls. Danny thought to himself.
"Meow. What have we here? Seems like someone was desperate for a date." Came a smug voice.
Clawdeen growled with gritted teeth. There was only one ghoul who would show up like this. Turning around, the wolf came eye to eye with her not-so-friendly schoolmate, Torelai Stripes.
Danny leaned to the side to see a trio of cats. One the side were gray twins with darker shaded stripes in matching makeup and outfits, only differentiated by their hair style and length. The one in front struck his eye.
That was Toralai, a tan werecat with tiger-colored hair. Half of her face was split in two shades of her fur as her green eyes narrowed in on the boy. Her attire screamed rebellious with a silver spiked leather jacket, a magenta tank top with bleached tiger stripes, scratched up capri jeans, and open toe black wedges.
The werecat's green eyes locked with Danny's blue, and he could tell instantly she was trouble. While not the destructive kind he could in his ghostly foes, right now he needed not to draw too much attention.
Great. I guess having trouble is going to be normal for me no matter what. Danny thought.
"A normie, huh?" Torelai strutted around Clawdeen with a clawed hand out.
Danny stood still, staring off against the lead cat as she flashed her fangs. Her outreached hand spread out with claws extended as she gave a wicked grin.
"That supposed to scare me?" Danny snarked.
"Ooo. Not afraid of a little scratch?" Torelai teased.
"Get lost, kitty." Danny pointed behind with a thumb. "I can smell trouble a mile away, and you reek."
Clawdeen chuckled, holding a hand to her mouth to contain herself. Her eyes darted to Danny, no teased how he was holding himself. For a moment, a small woof escaped her mouth.
Torelai's was not going to take that comment, especially since she could hear her posse giggle. A quick over the shoulder glance silenced them. Keeping a calm catty face, she leaned into Danny's personal space.
"Funny, coming from a normie that smells like…smells like…" Torelai did not finish her statement as she sniffed the boy.
Between the scents of monsters, humans, and anything else, she could detect the human in front of her. Yet the odor she expected was mixed with something more aromatic.
The boy was human, yes, but there was something else. A sporadic fragrance spiked here and there. Almost intangible yet solid, a familiar scent she could not put her nose on. To put it in one word, Danny was powerful.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Danny questioned, the werecat looking at him almost fondly.
"Ok, you get your claws off my date, right now, or I'm gonna turn you into kibble!" Clawdeen's growl interrupted Torelai.
The werecat widened her eyes, not noticing she was pressing herself against the human, almost hugging him. His arm were raised up high with the most uncomfortable face of confusion he ever felt so far.
"Something tells me monster puberty is worse than human puberty, especially now." Danny quipped, stepping back as the werecat let go. He swore there was a tinge of red flashing on the ghoul's face, but he couldn't get a good look as she left abruptly.
"Hey, get back here!" Clawdeen stepped in between Danny and the werecat. "Scaredy cat! You do not just-"
"I'll be back to settle things, Wolf breath." Torelai said before disappearing.
Clawdeen scowled in her direction before looking at Danny sympathetically.
"So sorry, she's not usually like that with normies." Clawdeen went before realizing what she just called him. "Oops... sorry..."
"I would say it's fine but… I don't really understand what that means." Danny said quickly.
"To be honest, Danny, it's pretty self-explanatory. Someone who is 'normal', human." Clawdeen explained, giving an air quote at the term normal.
"That... sounds a little like a slur, to be honest." Danny said, not liking how it sounded.
"In some way it is..." Clawdeen responded, looking regretful for calling him that.
"Suddenly, I miss being called Loser…" He muttered.
Her ears twitched upon hearing that as Clawdeen cleared her throat loudly. She glanced around, noting some monsters staring. A mean glare steered them away.
"So… let's… move on from that uncomfortable topic, shall we?" She went with a nervous smile and sat back down.
"Sure… maybe find something safe for me to eat." Danny said in response.
Clawdeen inched closer as she and Danny went back to chatting.
"So, tell me more about yourself, Danny. What exciting things happen in the nor-humanworld?" Clawdeen asked.
"Uh...well, there isn't much. I go to Casper High, I live with my parents and big sister, and I wanna be an astronaut..." Danny said.
"Astronaut? As in go to the moon?" Clawdeen asks with interest.
"Moon landings haven't been a thing for years… but that would be cool." Danny admitted with a smile.
"I bet." Clawdeen responded.
"What about you?" Danny asked to be polite
"Me? Well, me and my ghoulfriends pretty much try to survive everyday life. Though with one of us, it's more afterlife. We try to survive the brawl known as school, followed by us hanging out at the maul. Anyway, I am going to be the next premier fashion designer for monsters everywhere, even the ones who do kung fu or whatever..." She said
"I see..." Danny said as the waiter arrived to take their order.
"What will you have, miss?" He asks.
"Ahem…" Clawdeen said with a disapproving look as she gestured to Danny.
"Oh… and what will he have?" The waiter went with a disinterested look, much to Danny's ire.
"Was that a reference to what I think it was?" Deadpool asks.
"Depends. Were you asking for an actually reference to the aptly named Chinese movie Kung Fu Monsters?" BCFW asked with a smirk, earning a glare from the merc.
"No, Darkstalkers. Caving in here." NeoMark said.
"AHA! See?! I got my Darkstalkers reference after all! So [censored] you!" Deadpool went.
"I feel like you should add either Morrigan or Felicia to shut him up. Although BB Hood, Lilith or Hsien-Ko might work better, the former more so in shutting him up, temporarily," BCFW held out a censor machine in case the merc had any more swears to give, verbally or gesturally.
"I would but they kind of barely qualify. Plus I already have my last video game rep in mind." NeoMark said.
20 minutes later
Clawdeen had ordered haunt dogs with some chilling cheese fries, while all Danny got was water and a side of booberries. It was tiny, but it was at least safe to eat.
"I'm starting to miss eating constant ice cream with Kula…" He said under his breath.
"Want some of the garnish on my fries?" Clawdeen asks, seeing how miserable he was only eating some fruit.
Danny then felt relief at being offered the least strange thing she had.
"Yes please..." He said as he picked up the garnish and ate it.
"So, Danny? What made you decide to do this program?" Clawdeen asks.
"Well… my friend Tucker really didn't want to do it alone. At first, I thought I'd give it one go, but my date with a girl named Kim convinced me to give it a real try." Danny answered. "And you?"
"My friend, Draculaura, thought it would be a good way for all of us to meet guys. She didn't realize too late it was for humans. To be fair, it beats the last time she tried to set me up." Clawdeen said.
"What happened last time?" Danny asks.
"I kind of don't want to say. Not something you want to say if you still want to look like the ghoul kids." Clawdeen admitted sheepishly.
To the wolf girl's surprise, she heard a chuckle coming from Danny. Soon, they both shared a laugh. Any lingering tension from earlier was gone, leaving only them.
"Wow… you too? A friend made you do this? Guess we have more in common than I thought." He said.
"The two of us or as humans and monsters?" Clawdeen asks with a smile.
"Both, I guess." Danny said with a smile.
With that, both of them laughed at how they were in an unenviable situation.
"It wasn't too bad though. Met this green kid who changes into animals, but he's a vegan so we didn't sync too well." Clawdeen admitted.
"Well, good to know it wasn't too bad. I've had two dates I didn't really like. One was a bully, the other was just… let's just say chaotic." Danny admitted.
"Good to know." Clawdeen said.
As the two talked, they didn't see Toralie watching from afar, eyes on Danny before shaking her head in disapproval.
"What's wrong with me? No way in my horrorscope did it say I'd find a normie smelling nice…" She said to herself as she tried to ignore them, but couldn't.
Deadpool looked at his watch.
"Ok, I'll bite. What's on your mind?" BCFW asks.
"I'm expecting trouble to happen in… 3… 2… 1…" Deadpool said.
Before he could take another small sample of the garnish, Danny then spotted something headed their way and panicked.
"Look out!" Danny said as he pulled Clawdeen away.
What almost hit them was a small missile of some kind that flew past them, destroying a wall that led to the outside.
"What?!" Clawdeen went, shocked to see such artillery in use. "Who's the manster who brought that in here?!"
Soon, more missiles were headed their way, causing various monsters to run for their lives. After the missiles were fired, Danny saw who it was that launched them.
"Oh no… not them…" He muttered.
To his displeasure, he saw the Guys in White. It wasn't just the two he's used to, he saw the entire team that once bought his house, along with the hazmat suited agents.
Clawdeen stood up, snarling at them.
"Who are you creeps? And why are you dressed like that?" She questioned with fists at hips.
"We're the Guys in White… and you're all under arrest!" Operative K shouted as he threw two metal balls of some kind.
When the balls dropped-
Deadpool snorted, much to the annoyance of NeoMark and BCF.
"You know, cliché line or not, they're still armed government agents attacking unarmed teenagers with no fighting experience," BCF complained.
"Fine… gimme a moment." He said with an eye roll.
When the metal orbs hit the floor, a pink gas was released from them, causing nearby monsters to start falling to the floor and seemingly fall asleep.
Toralie and her crew were among those who were hit by the gas, causing them to also fall asleep.
Thinking fast, Danny took Clawdeen by the wrist and pulled her along.
"What're you-"
"Trust me." Danny said quickly.
They were spotted by the Guys in White, who couldn't recognize Danny thanks to the smoke released by their devices.
"Two are escaping!" Agent M said.
"Take aim!" Operative L ordered one hazmat agent, who fired.
The blast missed the target, yet it did not avoid causing any harm.
"Ow!" Clawdeen hissed, stopping a moment as she held onto her boot..
"Clawdeen?" Danny asked in concern as they stopped. "What's wrong?"
He saw an injury on her leg, which she was currently nursing.
"Ow, oh my ghoul does this hurt. Those dumb jerks, I'll get the CIA for this..." She said in pain.
"You guys know the CIA?" Danny asks as he quickly went to her side to help her up.
"It's not the same as yours… but-" Clawdeen hissed in pain. "Quick, outside the hole they made!"
As they got out, Danny looked back and saw the Guy in White were taking monsters and putting them into cages made of energy thanks to panels they placed on the floor.
Danny was furious now. He pulled Clawdeen to safety behind a tree and made sure no one saw them.
"Okay, that does it." He said as he pounded a fist in his hand.
"Danny, what are you doing?" Clawdeen asked.
"Question, can you fight?" Danny asks.
"In this outfit? Plus, do I look like I belong in Killer Instinct?" Clawdeen questioned with an eyebrow raised.
"I'll take that as a no." Danny said.
"Seriously, what are you up to?" Cladeen asks.
"Stay here. I'll take care of these morons..." He said.
"Seriously?" Clawdeen asks.
"You're my date and it's my job to make sure you have a good time." Danny insisted.
"That's sweet of you to say, but they got missiles and what I'm assumin' is some kind of knockout gas." Clawdeen said.
"I got this. I've handled these guys before." Danny said.
"What?" Clawdeen asked.
"Since you're as human as the living gem from space I dated, I think I can trust you." Danny said quickly.
Before she could question him, Danny changed into his ghost form. Clawdeen stares at him for a moment before she was speechless no longer.
"Oh my goth, what is this?" She went while shocked out of her werewolf life.
"So… ta-da? Sorry I didn't share this sooner, didn't really have a need to… until now at least." Danny said, trying to downplay the surprise.
Clawdeen had to rub her eyes just to make sure she wasn't seeing things.
"I don't believe this. You're actually him? Danny Phantom?" Clawdeen went quickly.
"You heard about me?" Danny asked in surprise.
"Duh, pretty much the entire monster community heard about the ghost kid who fights other ghosts, protects normies and seems stationed in that town of Amity Park..." Clawdeen said before she realized something. "That's how I recognized you and why I picked up the weird ghost smell off you that Toralie probably did too. Oh goth, Spectra is gonna be so jealous about this once she hears this..."
Danny flinched upon hearing that name.
"Wait, you know Penelope Spectra?!" Danny exclaimed.
"Who? No, I mean Spectra Vondergeist. She is another ghoulfriend of mine who has the biggest crush on you... She's how I heard of you." Clawdeen explained.
"Oh..." Danny said, calming down before recalling the situation in hand. "I'll be right back."
With that, he went off to deal with the Guys in White.
"Ugh… what happened?" Toralie questioned as she woke up, seeing herself and her ghoulfriends inside the energy cages. "Huh?!"
The monsters soon woke up to find themselves in these cages, though that pales in comparison to the nasty group of humans, those without helmets looking at them with utter contempt.
"Ghosts, vampires, squids, mummies, zombies and… a cat person. And that's just this cage out of the 3. We hit the jackpot." Operative K said to his partner.
"And when Agent Alpha sees this capture… we'll be getting that huge grant that we have been waiting for, which will make catching all ghosts in this world a cinch…" Operative O said.
"Why are you doing this?" Heath, a fire elemental, questions them.
"Originally, we were after the punk ghost kid Danny Phantom. That' when we got a tip that he was around this area...but we saw you monsters, so we decided we might as well take you all as well..." Operative K said.
"But we haven't done anything wrong!" Heath responded.
"You can't do this to us...we have rights!" Toralei shouted at them.
All of the Guys in White laughed at her for saying that.
"Get real, freak...There are no rights to monsters and freaks like you!" Operative O said.
"Stupid normies…" Toralie hissed in response.
"What are you going to do to us?" One fish-like girl asked while terrified of their presence.
"Take a guess. It involves examination tables and scalpels." Operative L said with eagerness.
"Let's load them into the cargo hold of the jet back on our side and then head back to headquarters…" Operative O said.
However, before the agents could put the cage into their jet, something happened. An ecto-blast hit them, sending them crashing into each other before hitting the floor
"Huh?!" Those in the cages exclaimed.
"Leave them alone!" Danny Phantom shouted as he appeared.
The monsters in the cages gasp in surprise and relief.
"That's Danny Phantom!" All of them went.
Toralie sniffed the air.
"That smell…" She said, finding it coming from Danny.
The Guys in White aimed their weaponry.
"I don't know how you found us Phantom, but you saved us the trouble of searching for you!" Operative O shouted.
"I am warning you jerks, let these monster kids go right now, or else..." Danny said as he effortlessly avoided a shot with a slight tilt to his right.
"Why bother? You will be joining them in a moment! Fire!" Operative K shouted as they opened fire at Danny.
Danny raised a ghost shield to redirect their fire back at them, causing the Guys in White to jump out of the way or take cover.
"Best set these kids free before those clean clothes of yours get stained with dirt and maybe drops of blood from broken noses!" Danny warned.
"Don't even bother Phantom! That cage is completely ghost proof, neither you nor those freaks can even leave a dent in it! Operative K shouted.
Danny mentally processed what he said before an idea sprung. He quickly sped up and got behind the operatives.
"What's the matter, Dorks In White? Am I too fast for you?!" Danny shouted in mockery.
This did the trick and Guys In White started blasting more.
Danny sped up as best as he could to avoid their fire and to get them to fire at the cages, namely at the panels on the floor.
Thankfully, it seemed to work as the panels were damaged enough to make the cages start to fade away.
"They're gonna escape!" O shouted.
Before the Guys in White could react, Danny fired a blast of cold that created ice, enough that acted as a barrier to keep them and the monster kids safe.
Danny landed in front of them.
"Everyone okay?" He asks.
As everyone nodded, one had a question of their own.
"What are you?" The question escaped the werecat's mouth before she knew it.
"What?" Danny blinked, staring back at Torelai.
He could see the recognition in the latter. Sweat beaded down as he contemplated the complexity of the situation.
Right now, all he wanted to do was open a can of butt kicking on the Guys in White once again and get back to his date with Clawdeen.
"What now?" Heath asks.
"Do any of you know how to fight?" Danny asks.
"Do we really look that dangerous?" Heath asks, looking insulted as his fists clenched. Danny gestured to Heath's fists, which were lighting up with fire. Heath, realizing he's making Danny's point correct, cleared his throat and swung his hands to put the fire out. "Never mind…" He went sheepishly.
Danny, seeing the fire, had an idea.
"Can you do that again? I got an idea to get you all out of here without them seeing it." Danny said.
Curious what Danny had in mind, Heath made a fire.
Here goes… something. Danny thought as he fired a beam of cold onto Heath's fire.
In seconds, Danny would make a large mist that soon grew into a large cloud that filled up the entire mall.
"What's going on?!" Operative O shouted in surprise and anger as the mist made it difficult for them to see once it filled up the monster's side of the ice wall.
"Run for it!" Danny shouted, pointing to where he and Clawdeen went.
All of the monster kids listened. None of them had a moment to think, all but one left.
Danny turned his head and, to his surprise, Toralie was still there, sniffing the air around him.
"You're him, that normie that smelled different." She said.
"Uh… what?" Danny asks nervously.
"I heard that this Danny Phantom was a normie who somehow got ghost powers, but I just thought it was a dumb rumor. Course, I didn't think you'd be as handsome manster as the Jaundice Brothers." Toralie said, sounding flirtatious.
Danny made a face of fear and rejection.
"I think I liked you better when you were rude to me…" He responded.
The sound of laser fire caught their attention as the two whipped their heads to see the ice starting to break.
"Keep it up, men!" K shouted.
"We'll break through soon!" O shouted alongside him.
Thinking they'll be through soon enough, Danny looked to see Toralie, still at his side, and needed her to leave.
"Has anyone told you to say thanks when someone saves your life? Like running and hiding from the bad guys?" Danny questioned angrily.
Toralie, seeing this side of him, smiled in an almost playful manner as she pounced on him, pressing him onto the floor.
"Don't presume a normie can tell me how I can say thanks, especially like this." She said as she grabbed the side of his head and pulled him in.
Before Danny knew it, he felt a pair of soft lips on his as Torelai did nothing to stop herself as her arm wrapped around the ghost boy. The same arm that grabbed him and pulled him in for a deep kiss.
Toralie only purred as she kissed him without consent before Danny's anger rose and he pushed her off.
"Yuck!" He shouted as he glared at her while wiping his mouth. "I was kissed by an actual cat girl!"
Toralie only giggled at his reaction.
"Well… you're half a normie… but I don't mind the other half…" She said in an almost flirtatious way before heading off.
Danny gagged a moment, scratching his tongue before spitting out.
"I'm gonna need mouthwash tonight…" He complained before recalling the situation in hand.
The ice began to break down as Danny hovered up above the mist. He could see the shapes of the Guy in White going through where the barrier was, seeing them stop.
"Where'd he go?" K questioned.
Seeing an opportunity, Danny fired a beam of ice at the floor, freezing it. The ice found its way to the feet of the government operatives, keeping them from escaping.
"Hey! I can't get loose!" L shouted.
"Me neither!" M responded.
"I'm so glad N's not here… he'd laugh at us forever…" O responded.
"Be thankful Agent Alpha's not here!" K responded. Before O could respond, he felt his body stiffen a moment, much to K's surprise. "O?"
O then punched himself in the face, knocking himself out. K then stiffened as well before punching himself out. Both men were phased out of the ice, being left on the floor.
The operatives in and out of hazmat suits looked around, questioning what was happening.
"Who's next?" Danny was heard asking.
10 minutes
Danny threw the last of the unconscious operatives into the jet on the human side. With that done, Danny had one last thing to do to humiliate his foes. He threw dirt from the ground all over them. He then flew to the cockpit.
"Auto-pilot, take this jet back to base." He ordered.
"Voice recognition invalid." The computer went.
Thinking fast, Danny flew to the unconscious O and overshadowed him, going back to the computer.
"Auto-pilot, take this jet back to base." Danny said with O's voice.
"Voice recognition accepted." The computer went before the jet began to start up.
Danny then left O's body, leaving him plopped on the floor, then phased out of the jet.
"Have a fun time being scolded by your boss!" Danny called out with a smile before returning to the monster's side.
Once he went through, he found Clawdeen waiting for him with a relieved smile.
"Is it over?" She asks.
"Yup." Danny said as he morphed back to human form.
"So… what now?" Clawdeen asks.
Before Danny could answer, an entire crowd of monsters spotted him.
"That's him! He's the normie who turns into Danny Phantom!" Heath was heard shouting.
Danny stiffened in shock as the monsters soon crowded around him and Clawdeen.
"Uh… hi?" Danny went nervously.
As some of the monsters approached, Clawdeen got in front of Danny protectively.
"Don't even think about messing with him if you want to avoid learning what werewolf fangs feel like!" he threatened.
"Mess with him? Heath asks before he and the monsters' expressions softened. "We wanna thank him!"
That's when, to Danny's surprise, they lifted him up over their heads in gratitude and celebration.
"Danny Phantom! Danny Phantom! Danny Phantom!" All of them went.
"Yo, for a normie, you're not so bad!" One was heard going.
"Thanks… I think…" Danny said.
30 minutes later
Danny was with Clawdeen, being introduced to more of the monster world.
"And that's the Coffin Bean. That's where we get the freakiest fine coffee there. Here is one of my favorite shops, Sasquatory & Cadaver." Clawdeen said as she showed him more of the monster side of the town.
So… their world is monster puns on real world stuff? He thought in amusement.
"Cool." Danny said before a thought came to him. "So… if you're a werewolf… does that me-"
"I'm not human. Werewolves aren't all humans, some of us are pure canines, like yours truly here." Clawdeen said proudly.
"I see. Cool." Danny said.
"Being pure werewolf means I don't got the same limits as humans, like being a better runner." Clawdeen joked.
"Well, being half-human isn't all bad." Danny said.
"True… your hearing and smelling isn't as great as mine. You don't know how many times I've had to hear or smell someone passing gas when they eat boo-rittos." Clawdeen said with joking envy.
As the two laughed, someone spotted them.
"There you are." Toralie was heard speaking.
Danny stiffened, the kiss she gave him without consent going back to his mind.
"Oh wonderful…" He muttered.
Clawdeen saw the werecat now standing before them with her hands at her hips and snarled.
"I thought I told you to take a hike, Torelai. Go, before we see how many lives you can lose fast..." Clawdeen said hastily and angrily.
"Meow, how rude. I'm not here for you… I'm here for the half-normie who saved my life… and kissed me. " Torelai revealed
"What?!" Clawdeen questioned as her head whipped to look at Danny.
"It was one-sided and totally without my consent..." Danny corrected, glaring at the cat creature
"Yeah, that's more believable..." Clawdeen said.
"I did not want to be kissed by her... And I still wish I had mouthwash to get rid of her nasty fish breath.." Danny stated, offending the were cat.
"Hmph… first normie I'm nice to and he rejects me." Toralie grumbled before a smile appeared on her. "I kind of like that…"
Danny hid behind Clawdeen.
"Sorry, I'm a dog person." He said before noticing Clawdeen's eyes were on him, thinking he was calling her a dog. "Not you… you're a wolf. I mean when it comes to which animal I'd rather have in my house." He said.
"Gotcha." Clawdeen said as her expression softened.
"So… that's a no?" Toralie asks again. Danny and Clawdeen glaring at her made it clear that was their answer. Toralie only shrugged indifferently. "Fine… but if you ever change your mind…" She said with a wink before leaving.
Once she walked away, Danny let out a breath in relief.
"I've been kissed by two cat girls… and that one's my least favorite." Danny said.
"Another werecat?" Clawdeen asks.
"Huh? No, she was a crook dressed like a cat, not Catwoman bee tee dubs, who was stealing some magic thing." Danny explained.
"I see." Clawdeen said before gesturing to the rest of the town. "So… care to see the coffin bean?"
"Sure." Danny responded.
9pm
Danny noticed how late it was getting and asked Clawdeen to take him to the nearest portal that could get him as close to Amity Park as possible. They arrived at a green portal of some kind, seeing it swirling.
"Is this what I think it is?" Danny asks, gesturing to it.
"A ghost portal? Yup." Clawdeen said. "Spectra and other ghosts in town use it. Not sure where it'll lead you, but you seem to know your way around the Ghost Zone pretty well."
"Not really, but I know enough. Where exactly will this lead me?" Danny asks.
"I think…" Clawdeen looked up in response as she chewed a casketdilla she brought along the way. "Close to the realm of some cold place. Frozen Far Away or something."
"The Far Frozen? I know the ghosts there. That's a relief…" Danny said with a sigh.
With that, Clawdeen finished her snack as she knew it was time.
"You sure you don't want to stick around? I bet I could introduce you to my ghoulfriends, including Spectra. My friend, not this bad ghoul you've mentioned." Clawdeen offered.
"Sorry, my curfew's at 10 and my parents don't know about…" Danny gestured to his body. "This whole thing I got going on."
"Too bad you ain't Kim Possible, her folk give her the kind of freedom I wish mine did." Clawdeen said.
"Yeah, sh-" Danny realizes she just said the name of his first blind date. "Wait… you know Kim Possible?"
"Duh, I think everyone does. She's a legend even in these parts. Just last week, we saw the fabled Spider-Man during our trip to Boo York. We know our heroes." Clawdeen said.
"You mean New York?" Danny asks.
"Not on our side." Clawdeen asks.
"I should probably make a note to come back here one of these days..." Danny said, wanting to see more of this world just to learn about the puns.
"That mean you wanna pick me?" Clawdeen asks with some eagerness.
''Uh...well, you're a great girl Clawdeen... But I only joined this service for a friend...and the reason I stayed is because...well, I have been having fun and meeting a lot of cool girls. I just got 6 more to go..."Danny said.
"Yeah, I get it. I think I should see this to the end too..." Clawdeen said.
"Funny you mentioned Kim Possible, she was my first date here. Honest." Danny said.
"I believe you." Clawdeen said, knowing Danny has no need to lie to her about who he's gone out with since he trusts her with his real name, which few non-ghosts even know.
So he went out with Kim Possible, huh? Looks like I have stiffer competition than I thought... She thought.
She decided to bid him goodbye, thought she knew her limits on a blind date.
"I'd kiss ya, but this ghoul don't kiss on the first date. That and I ate something you probably don't want to taste, considering Toralie's tongue is a taste you're trying to forget." Clawdeen said with a bit of sheepishness.
"Thanks for your restraint." Danny said before raising his arms. "Still, a hug would do."
''Works for me..." Clawdeen said, hugging him quickly.
Once it was done, Danny pulled back.
"Laters." He said.
"Laters." Clawdeen responded as they waved.
As soon as he was gone, Clawdeen smiled to herself.
Danny Phantom… he's as much of a cool Manster as Spectra said. She thought.
Before Clawdeen could go home, she heard a wailing from afar. A wail she's familiar with.
"Spectra?" Clawdeen asks.
She sees a certain specter flying towards her as fast as she could before arriving at blinding speeds.
"Is it true?!" She asks with a rather disbelieving look on her face. "Danny Phantom was here?! And you DATED him?!" Spectra questioned with such volume in her voice.
"Uh... yeah..." Clawdeen went.
"No fair! How'd you get paired up with the guy who defeated the ghost king, while I got stuck with some obnoxious perv from Canada who complained that I'm hot but too scary?!" Spectra complained.
"Must be Jonesy…" Deadpool realized.
"And with that, this chapter comes to a close." NeoMark said.
"Bravo." BCFW clapped, elbowing Deadpool to join. The merc groaned, but participated in the applause.
"So are you finally gonna cave in and put in the characters that people actually want? A darkstalker? One of the gals of UA?" Deadpool asks.
"Unless I'm mistaken, you said you were going to put five characters from works that were in the original, but not the same characters that were featured. Did I get that right?" BCF asked.
"Yes, you are correct. Next time is Winx Club, and it will be the fifth and final replacement character from a pre-existing work.." NeoMark said.
"Then the next chapter will be one of the most anticipated yet to come, let's go!" BCFW smiled.
Special thanks to Flower Princess11 and BeConFuzzled Writer.
Side note, I'm not making any of the dates unwanted admirers like Katie, so I decided to make it girls who interfere with the dates.
Now, next time Winx Club, and one of the characters I wanted to use the most.
guardian1989: We'll find out after the next chapter.
RonaldM40196867: Dunno. Showdown. Dunno. Dunno. Nope. Nope. Because he's a bald kid who manipulated the elements, in this case water...
The Disquieting One: I thought about it, but I will. I will also have more than one returning date for it.
amit . avrashmi: We might see it.
pokemon fan 1991: Thanks.
Jebest4781: It was fun to make.
IrishKatana: Perhaps.
ClassicCartoon27: Which is the first?
Menatron the Angel of Ideas: Good thing Avatar characters can't cross into other worlds... if they did, then I'd have used Ty Lee.
djinn: Clawdeen.
Invader Johnny: Certainly getting used to it fast.
NiteOwl18: Oh boy indeed.
61394: Thanks.
danifan3000: 1. Slowly, at least. 2. It came back. 3. I kind of blocked out Chronicles. 4. Seeing as it'll be rated R, I'm open to the idea it might go well.
cybirddude: 1. Well, there's a chance we won't get too much into the lives of the kids. 2. I did this to celebrate its 5th anniversary, and I chose animated media to give it a shared theme but also encourage more interesting ideas. 3. Sure. 4. We might only see a brief look at the kids, not enough to go through all that. 5. Might mention villain fates. 6. Uh... no. No pedophiles. 7. Sure. 8. Sure, we'll see.
Leonardo: As said, Clawdeen seemed the one I saw the most requested.
Warrior of the Forbidden Flame: True but I think 10 was a potential amount that'd work... but yeah, Kimiko was the better pick.
Luiz4200: Chronicles don't exist in this take.
Bob the mammoth: I just assumed she was Jack's age.
tomahawkESP: Happened again... and it's a less pleasant girl.
Joe: Here she is.
