A Break Pt 2

Danny had left with Yuki. Both of them had something to discuss.

"So, what do you feel like doing today?" Danny asks.

"Oh uh…" Yuki went with a nervous smile, looking away.

I didn't think about this part! I was hoping he'd keep me busy until I found Phantom and spoke with him again! Where do we go?! She thought.

"I...uh...what I mean is...um..." Yuki went before pointing away. "There! Let's go there!"

Danny looked at where she was pointing, raising an eyebrow.

"A car repair center?" He asks.

Realizing where she was pointing, Yuki laughed nervously before pointing to someplace else.

"There! That store!" She went.

She was pointing at a store known as Bullseye.

"Okay, that works." Danny said as he motioned for Yuki to follow him.

Yuki let out a breath in relief.

Inside the store

Danny and Yuki were now inside, simply looking around.

They passed by a tall blonde guy with brown eyes and a red and yellow shirt, a pretty brunette girl with green eyes who seemed to be annoyed with him, and a burly looking middle aged guy who looked around curiously, like it was his first time in a store.

"Darn… I heard this town had a lot of ghosts and monsters appearing… but nothing…" Martin grumbled.

"I told you, this is all some weird hoax." Diana insisted.

"Java no like ghosts." Java said.

"I figure that Danny Phantom guy took care of stuff…" Martin said.

"Oh please, that has to just be some cute kid who is part of a hoax…" Diana insisted.

Danny and Yuki overheard her, both laughing at the idea.

"If she only knew…" He said under his breath.

Before Yuki could speak, someone who wasn't paying attention bumped into her.

"Oops! Sorry!" This girl went.

It was a pretty blonde girl with blue eyes, fair skin and was dressed in a blue sweater, pink pants and blue shoes.

"Oh… it's okay!" Yuki went with a nervous smile.

This girl, Katie, just now noticed something.

"Uh… isn't it summer? Why did you feel so… cold?" Katie asks, having realized the icy feel of Yuki's body despite how brief it was.

"Oh… uh… the AC in my hotel is… powerful." Yuki went.

"You okay, Yuki?" Danny asks, hoping she won't get upset and let the area get colder and expose herself as a Demi-Human.

"Y-Yeah, thanks Danny." Yuki said.

"Okay." Danny said before looking at Katie. "Sorry about that…"

"It's okay." Katie responded.

Katie watched the guy and whom she assumed was his girlfriend walk away.

Huh, he was actually kinda cute. Why are all the cute ones taken? She thought, frustrated but kept her cool.

"Katie, Katie darling?" Her mother's voice was heard.

"We're going to that carnival out of town. Let's go, pumpkin." Her dad was also heard.

"I'll be right there..." Katie said as she went to where her parents are.

Now far away, Danny looked back to where that blonde was.

Huh? She was actually kinda pretty, as much as that brunette. Danny thought off handedly.

"So… I don't think there's anything I want to buy here..." Yuki said.

"I did see something I want, so let me get that first..." Danny said.

In the "real" world

After finishing ramen, the authors were all ready to move onto dessert.

"So, FP?" NeoMark asks.

"Yeah?" She asks.

"So… you did only use the gem for what we talked about?" NeoMark asks.

"Oh… uh… actually…" FP11 went, looking nervous and sheepish.

"Actually…?" NeoMark asks.

"There were some dates I wish were still here, so… I kind of… made them make cameos by accident." FP11 went before holding her hands up apologetically. "But don't worry… they won't interfere or get involved with him like his dates here."

"I don't get why we let the Deadpools keep that thing." 61394 said. "It's crazy powerful."

"You want a crack at using that thing? Because since I got 4 dates left, you might not have time to be able to do what she did." NeoMark said, casually tossing 61394 the continuity stone

"Whoa, this thing is a rush. Huh, so many things I could do, so many possible pairings." 61394 said, thinking out loud. "I got it." He went, snapping his fingers there was a wave of energy

"What'd you do?" Neo asked curiously

"Switched up one of Danny's future dates." 61394 said. "Nothing too crazy but knowing Danny and his luck, he'll have a wild time with."

NeoMark shook his head disapprovingly and took the stone back, snapping his fingers.

"Please don't do that. I gave her a free pass for what she did as she was the author of the original. Did you do anything else?" He asks.

"I put Colette in French juvie." 61394 said with a briefly savage grin

"Colette's not in this story." NeoMark responded.

"Right... she's got no reason to go after Danny. But still, it's Colette so she'll probably wish she were never born." 61394 said.

"She wasn't." NeoMark responded.

"... huh?" 61394 asked.

"Remember, this is an alternate universe, still 2018-2019. The story that introduced her hasn't happened yet, so she doesn't exist yet." NeoMark said.

"Oh… so… I just put some other girl with that name in French Juvie?" 61394 asks.

"Probably…" NeoMark said.

"Oh. Uh, oops…" 61394 said, worried he put an innocent person behind bars. "I'll be right back" 61394 ran away.

Back with Danny and Yuki

The two were walking together as they entered the park.

''So, where to next?" Danny asked.

"I'll let you decide this time..." Yuki replied.

Danny was about to suggest something when he heard it.

"Shouoken!" He heard someone shout.

"Shouoken? That sounds familiar…" He said as he scratched his chin.

As they continued talking, something was happening nearby.

Two women were in a fight, with a crowd circling them and watching. One was a young Japanese girl in a sailor uniform who shot a fireball at her opponent, a young blonde girl in red with a rather elegant hairstyle with a blue bow in her hair, who had barely managed to dodge it in time.

All but one person were in awe

"Pfft… whatever…" A young woman said with disinterest.

It was a teenage girl with brown hair, glasses and seemed to be bored with just about everything.

"What are you talking about? She shot a fireball out of her hands, Daria!" Jane, her friend, said.

"I have no interest in smoke and mirrors being used for some publicity stunt." Daria said with disinterest as she left.

Danny, overhearing this, raised an eyebrow before going back to see Sakura's spar with this other girl.

Wait, is that Sakura? He thought, as the fight soon ended

Once Sakura and Karin bowed, the fight ending, people applauded before parting away. All but Danny and a confused Yuki.

"Sakura!" Danny went, waving to her.

Looking back, Sakura smiled and stood up.

"Danny-san." She said as Danny approached her.

The two of them high-fived.

"Hey, how ya been?" Danny asks.

"Good, good. Glad to see you, since I may be heading home soon." Sakura said.

"That so? Good timing then." Danny said.

Yuki noticed the girl speaking to Danny before staring at her with recognition.

"Wait… Kasugano-san?" She asks.

"Do I kn-" Sakura then recalled where she had seen her. "Oh! Kusukabe-san!" She went cheerfully.

"That's me." Yuki responded.

"You two know each other?" Danny asked, surprised to see two of his dates knowing who the other is.

"I met her right after our date." Yuki said.

"Yeah." Sakura went.

"I see…" Danny responded.

Sakura then got closer to Danny's ear.

"She doesn't know… does she? About… y'know… your whole situation?" Sakura asks.

"Uh… no." Danny responded.

"I thought so…" Sakura responded.

"What are you two talking about?" Yuki asks, noticing their whispering.

Both of them stood up straight, nervously smiling.

"Nothing! Nothing at all!" Sakura went, her hands nervously raised up.

Before Danny could speak, he noticed Sakura's opponent was now observing him in an almost elitist manner, with her hand cupping her chin.

"Ah, so this is the boy you're charmed by." The blonde she fought asks as she examined Danny. "Hmm… rather common but he's cuter than that bespectacled boy."

"Karin… please don't. You're gonna embarrass me." Sakura said with a nervous smile.

"Karin? Karin Kanzuki?" Danny asks, recognizing that name.

"Yes, that is I." Karin said in a haughty manner.

"My friend, Tucker, is the bespectacled boy." Danny said before he wondered what happened. "What exactly happened during your date with him?" He questioned with some irritation at what made Tucker upset.

"Let's just say he wasn't up to my standards. And his hygiene was atrocious, just as his eating habits were…" Karin said in a dismissive tone.

"I can't disagree with that, to be honest…" Danny admitted, figuring it might've been Tucker's fault.

"So, Danny-san? Wanna spar?" Sakura offered.

"Uh… can't…" Danny said, eyes darting to Yuki.

Recalling Yuki doesn't know, Sakura nodded.

"Understood. Oh, and before I forget… I met another date of yours yesterday." Sakura said.

"You did?" Danny asks.

"Makoto Kino. Apparently, her plane home was delayed. If you're fast enough, you could see her right now before her bus arrives." Sakura insisted, pointing ahead.

"Thanks!" Danny said, bowing to her before motioning her to come closer. "Be tee dubs, I've been practicing Ryu's moves. I can show you later, if you'd like."

"Awesome." Sakura went with a thumb up.

As Danny nodded he left with Yuki at his side.

"Where are we going?" She asks.

"Someone I wanna bid goodbye before she heads home." Danny said.

As Yuki was silent, Sakura nodded. Karin couldn't help but ask questions.

"I thought you like that boy?" She asks.

"I do… but I want to give other girls a chance." Sakura said with a nod.

"Ah… you have a great heart, Miss Sakura Kasugano." Karin went with an elegant tone in her voice before she took notice of something on the ground. "What is that?"

It looked like a bug, but they soon saw it was a small robot with an unusual appearance

"A machine?" Sakura asks.

"Is this the work of some pervert?" Karin questions.

"We should find out where its remote is or whoever is controlling it." Sakura stated.

30 minutes

Danny soon arrived at the hotel Makoto was staying at with Yuki.

"Here we are..." Danny said.

"You were in quite a hurry to get here..." Yuki said, panting hard.

"I guess I shouldn't have made you hurry…" Danny said, realizing he's put her through a bit of exhaustion.

"My body… doesn't do well since I don't sweat as much." Yuki said, panting hard.

"Is it because you're a de-" Danny paused, remembering something.

She doesn't know she told me she's a Demi! Idiot! He thought, recalling she only shared that with Danny Phantom.

"I'm… a what?" Yuki asks, taking deep breaths as she stands up.

"You're… a… uh… the kind of person who didn't inherit enough sweat glands? I hear that's a thing." Danny said.

"Oh… y-yeah! That's it!" Yuki went with a relieved smile.

I don't have that many sweat glands thanks to being a snow woman… I'll let him think that. She thought.

"D-Danny-kun?!" A surprised girl's voice was heard.

Danny turned around and smiled when he saw who it was.

"Hey Lita..." He said.

Makoto blushed, letting go of her luggage a moment before she smiled.

"Hi...I...I didn't think I'd run into you here..." She said shyly.

"I heard from someone you met recently that you were still around. A ms. Sakura Kasugano..." Danny said.

"Kasugano-chan? I remember her. I was taking care of some local bullies, she saw me, we got into a talk that led to us knowing you and we spar with each other.." Makoto said.

Seeing them talking so casually, Yuki was growing ever curious.

"So, Danny? Friend of yours?" Yuki asked.

"Oh right, Yuki... This is Makoto Kino but I call her Lita as a nickname... Lita, this is Yuki Kusakabe, the girl I met after our date..." Danny replied.

Yuki was floored when she saw the girl he was talking to was the girl he dated previously.

Wow...she's so tall! ...and so developed. She thought as the other girl sent her a friendly smile, unaware she was gawking briefly at a certain region of her body.

"It's nice to meet you, Kusakabe-san..." Lita greeted politely.

"L-Likewise, Kino-san..." Yuki said.

''So, Lita? You're still here in America?" Danny asked as she nodded.

''Yes, our vacation was extended. Amity Park has been a lovely city." She said with a smile. "Although, Danny? You should watch out. Yesterday, I found a biker gang that was beaten by a girl named "Oz-ka". I met her and fought her… she was… tough." Makoto said.

For some reason Danny thought that name sounded familiar but he couldn't remember who.

"On it." Danny said.

Makoto nodded before seeing her bus boarding.

'Gotta go." Makoto said before, quickly, kissing Danny on the cheek. "Bye! Danny-kun!"

Danny, turning red, nodded.

"S-Sure…" He said.

Makoto waved before hurrying on over to her bus.

Yuki, seeing this, couldn't help but feel somewhat jealous.

She's so pretty, no, gorgeous, and sweet, how do I have a chance with Danny? She thought before shaking her head.

As Danny snapped out of it, he heard a familiar voice.

"Take care, Ami." A boy's voice said.

"You too, Ben." A girl's voice that he deduced was Ami responded.

Danny looked to his left and saw a familiar face. Ben Tennyson.

He was speaking to a girl with short blue hair, Japanese like Makoto, who smiled at him warmly before going.

Danny noticed the smile on her face, a mix of sadness and happiness.

He saw her go to the same bus as Makoto before turning back to see Ben walking towards a familiar muscle car.

"Do you know him?" Yuki asks.

"I sure do." Danny said before waving his arm. "Ben!"

Ben turned around, seeing a familiar face.

"Danny?" He asks

"Ben!" Danny went with a smile, surprised to see the bearer of the Omnitrix here in Amity Park.

"Well, guess it's not just that girl we get to see?" The familiar voice of Kevin went as he and Gwen stepped out of the muscle car.

"Hi, Danny." Gwen said politely.

"Gwen? Kevin? What are you guys doing here?" Danny asks.

"We were just in the area, enjoying a day off from the service, when I bumped into one of my blind dates." Ben explained before noticing the girl with turquoise hair next to Danny. "Who's this?"

"Oh, this is Yuki Kusakabe. She was one of my blind dates." Danny said to them before looking at Yuki. "This is Ben Tennyson, his friend Kevin, and his cousin Gwen. She was date number 3."

"Nice to meet you." Yuki said, bowing her head.

"Likewise." Gwen said.

Another very pretty girl… just like those two at the swap meet, Kasugano-san and that tall girl. Yuki thought, thinking she has no shot with Danny Fenton.

"So, how are you liking Amity Park?" Danny asked.

"It's very nice." Gwen answered.

"A little too goofy for me." Kevin remarked.

"We were going to get a burger at that place called Nasty Burger. Would you want to join us?" Ben asks.

"I would." Danny said before looking at Yuki. "Yuki?"

"I would like something to eat." She responded.

"Guess we're tagging along." Danny said

Danny and Yuki were at the Nasty Burger with Ben and his team.

Danny enjoyed his usual as he saw what the rest were having.

"What do you think?" Danny asks.

"It isn't Burger Shack, but it hits where it needs to." Ben said.

"This is… pretty good." Yuki admitted.

"These fries rock..." Kevin said.

"I know, right..." Danny said as he took a sip of his shake.

"Didn't I hear something about the condiments being explosive? That seems like a massive oversight by the FDA." Yuki said, wondering if it was safe to eat.

"No, ever since… uh… the incident with Danny Phantom…" Danny emphasized his words so that even Ben and his team got what he meant. "... the FDA heard and shut it down."

"I see…" Yuki said with a nod.

Gwen raised a brow at that.

I could sense she's not entirely human. She must be a hybrid, one of those Demi-Humans Grandpa Max said are not aliens. And judging from her reaction, I doubt she knows about Danny's " hobby"... She thought.

"So… Yuki, was it?" Gwen asks.

"Y-Yes?" Yuki went with a flustered look.

"I'm heading to the bathroom. Care to come with?" Gwen asks.

"Umm… okay." Yuki said.

While the girls were headed to the restroom, Kevin got up.

"I see some chili cheese fries that need to be ordered." Kevin said with a smile.

As he left, Danny and Ben were chatting and exchanging stories about the dating service.

"So, this Makoto girl. I saw her, she's Ami's tall friend." Ben said.

"So… you dated Ami?" Danny asked with a smile.

"Yeah, she was my seventh date. We ate, talked, she was surprisingly patient with me..." Ben said, smiling at recollection with her.

"Sounds like someone's in love…" Danny jokingly said.

"Hilarious. Why ask? You're into her?" He asked.

Danny shook his head.

"No, I just saw her. Didn't even speak with her." Danny said.

"Oh… I see." Ben went, looking a bit embarrassed to have asked.

Danny noticed how Ben smiled as he talked about Ami. Even he wasn't clueless enough not to see what might be happening.

"So, Ami... Any chance she is gonna be your choice?" Danny asked.

Ben blushed.

"I mean...I haven't NOT considered it. I have four more to go..." Ben stammered.

"Same here..." Danny said.

"I can't say I hated it. Granted, her living on the other side of the planet is a bit of a pickle." Ben admitted.

"I've had 3 dates from Japan so far, counting her friend. In all honesty, I think you should go for it." Danny said.

"Someone's got an urge to see me with her." Ben commented with a smile.

"Does she know? About... y'know..." Danny gestured to the Omnitrix.

"She does. She's pretty... eager to learn about my alien forms. It's kind of cute." Ben admitted.

"Makoto doesn't know about my powers." Danny said.

I'm gonna assume if Ami's a Sailor Guardian then he doesn't know. Danny thought.

"And Yuki doesn't know?" Ben asks.

"Nope. She's got a crush on Danny Phantom though." Danny said.

"Huh. Whadya know? You're in a love triangle with yourself." Ben commented.

Both of them laughed before Danny looked to the bathroom where the girls were.

"Good thing Yuki's not here to hear this. She doesn't know I'm Danny Phantom… who she is probably looking forward to meeting." Danny said.

"You gonna tell her?" Ben asks.

"I mi-" Danny's eyes darted to the top of the door, his eyes widening. "What?"

"What's wrong?" Ben asks, looking to where Danny was looking.

"Cover me." Danny said as he looked to make sure no one was looking.

He went under the table, turned invisible and made his way to the bathroom, grabbing what he saw above the door and bringing it with him.

Upon returning and changing back, Danny got out from under the table and revealed what it was.

"A bug? Wait… a robot?" Ben asks.

Danny frowned at what he was holding.

"So Plasmius finally crawled out of the woodwork?" He asks.

"Plasmius? Isn't that your Arch-Enemy?" Ben asks.

"He is. I haven't seen or even heard from that fruitloop since a few days before I started the dating service. Why am I not surprised he'd stoop low enough to spy on my dates?" Danny said with an angered look in his eyes.

"Weird… I can understand you, but why spy on two girls who, as far as he knows, aren't a threat to him?" Ben asks.

Elsewhere

A monitor showed Danny and Ben conversing from within Danny's hand.

He hovered off the floor, tapping a finger impatiently.

"It seems Daniel has caught on that I've been keeping tabs on him. It seems I need to speed things up… that Demi-Human girl is clearly less a threat than the redhead. So, she will do." Vlad said with a sinister smile.

Back with the authors

61394 returned.

"Okay, good news. The other Colette is a delinquent, even if she's not as bad as the Colette we know." He said.

"Most people aren't." Everyone else said in unison

"True." 61394 conceded.

Kim Possible... and that's it as after that I'll stop watching it as I don't want to give Rooster Teeth any more views for anything. Again, not taking story ideas this year.
