Get Ready For The Next Date

Danny arrived home in time for dinner. As he finished his dinner, he headed upstairs, giving Skipper her score.

She had her priorities a bit off, but he still thought she was a great girl and gave her an 8. With that, he was ready to see who his next date will be.

Before he could turn on the computer, his phone went off. Seeing it was Tucker, he answered.

"Yo." Danny said.

"So, how was this date?" Tucker asks.

"Skipper, yes that's her name, was a neat girl. You and Sam might like her, she's an independent girl who likes tech." Danny said.

"She sounds pretty cool in my book." Tucker said in approval.

"And your date?" Danny asks.

"It was a girl named Teresa Rivera. She's neat, if a little spacy, but she vacationing from Malibu, so I don't know how that'll work. I'll give her a decent score." Tucker said.

"TUCKER! DINNER!" His mother was heard.

"Gotta go!" Tucker went with an eager tone as he hung up.

With a chuckle, Danny went to his computer and decided to see who his next date will be.

User Name: K Asuka

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Height: 5'3"

Weight: 107 lb

Home Town: Osaka

Physical Description: Tall, short brown hair, tough and… hate to bring this up, developed in the chest

Personality: As long as you don't stare at my chest, act like a creep, make me lose food or hurt innocent people, I'll be more than willing to get along with you

Likes and Interests: Martial arts, helping people

Type of person I wish to date: Someone who won't act so dirty and not afraid of girls who can fight back.

"17, huh? That would make her my oldest date, outside of Lapis, that is." Danny reasoned before pondering. "Someone who is 17 and, likely, human… this might be my most mature date yet… or she's crazy. Either way, better be ready. Let's see… it says I meet her… at the park? That works." He said.

He got up and readied for bed, wondering just what kind of girl this will be.

A knock at the door.

"I guess it's time for the last guest author who has appeared here to make his appearance." NeoMark said. "It's open!"

In came BatGuy01.

"Hey guys. Sorry I didn't join you for ramen or hanging at Dave & Buster's. Infinity Crisis and life likes to take up time." He said.

"Your car is all fixed up?" Neo asks.

"Yes, planning on moving soon." Batguy01 said before glancing at Deadpool. "Would have been better if it never happened…"

"Not my fault your car was the only means I could find to get your attention." Deadpool said.

"There are multiple ways to get my attention. Like knocking on my door." BatGuy01 said, sounding frustrated.

"You could have just sent a PM." 61394 said but was ignored.

"Well, the important thing is that it's all behind us now and you're here." FP11 said.

Batguy01 noticed a distinct smell that made him smack his lips in interest.

"You guys ate seafood pasta and other foods in here?" Batguy01 asks.

"Sorry, you were busy so we didn't order anything for you." Neo said.

"I can share my bruschetta if you'd like…" FP11 offered.

"Sure. So… I take it Batgirl's replacement is here?" Batguy01 asks.

"Ah, BatGUY came to see who replaced BatGIRL…" Deadpool snarked.

"I guess you can call that irony…" PF1991 said

"We were just about to see who it's going to be." FP11 said.

"I assure you that is just a crazy coincidence. I just wanted to go along for the ride." Batguy01 said. "So, who is replacing her? Stephanie Brown? Raven? Donna Troy? Or perhaps Supergirl?"

"I'm not sure if I mentioned this before when you were around, and I'm too lazy to just scroll up the doc file this is on, but I replaced all of the comic characters who aren't based on a specific version with video game characters since video games are still an animated medium. I replaced Supergirl with Sakura from Capcom's Street Fighter, and Shadowcat with Kula from SNK's King of Fighters." NeoMark explained.

"So it stands to reason that Batgirl would get the same treatment, right?" 61394 asks. "Besides, most animated versions of Batgirl are college aged so too old for Danny."

"And since Kara and Barbara are both DC characters, are you replacing the latter with another Capcom character? Maybe… Darkstalkers?" Deadpool asks.

"I'm not that much of a video game guy. I have at least heard of Street Fighter, and I can assume from its name that King of Fighters is something like it. My best guess for who this could be is Ellie from the Last of Us, but she's a lesbian from a zombie apocalypse world." BatGuy01 said. "I also noticed all of them are fighting game characters, so I assume that this one's another one too, right?"

"Indeed. And now, I'm fully aware you guys found out what the title of this chapter is and, anyone who knows fighting games, probably figured out who it is." NeoMark said.

"It was his idea." FP11 said, pointing at Deadpool.

"Guilty!" Deadpool said, taking 61394's cola and drinking it.

"Hey!" 61394 shouted.

"Ha!" Deadpool went. "Finally vengeance is mine."

"Two words for you, Wade" "tranquilizer gun ." 61394 went, pulling out a rifle with a cartoon of Deadpool sleeping on it

"You forget, this isn't your story and NeoMark can just not let you do your threat if he feels this bit is too long!" Deadpool pointed out.

"He's got you there." Yakko said as his siblings nodded.

"You're the one who's been keeping up this chimichanga grudge." 61394 rebutted.

"Knock it off, you two." NeoMark said in disapproval, causing the two to break it up.

"So, who's the next date? And can we expand the room? It's getting cramped." BCFW poked at the boundaries of the room. The walls sunk back like rubber as he prodded playfully.

"I'll move a little bit more back so you can get in." PF1991 went, trying to make room for Batguy01.

"I just realized I'm the only author who wasn't here alone instead of with the rest. Am I missing something?" Luiz4200 pointed out.

"Sorry dude… I'd have made it just you but… we're close to the end." NeoMark said.

"And this is replacing a character you wrote for." Deadpool pointed out.

"My bad…" NeoMark said.

"So, let's see that I'm right, shall we?" 61394 asks.

"The day Number Boy is right is the day I give up chimichangas for a year." Deadpool declared.

"You do remember he used the continuity stone earlier to change one of Danny's dates, right?" Wakko asked.

"I changed it back after I told him not to do that. If he's right, it's pure coincidence." NeoMark said.

"Oh yeah… sorry." Wakko said.

"Ha! Besides, I don't really care who this is anyway… even if it's obvious to many readers, so let's get to it." Deadpool said.

"Yeah, let's. I want to know who this girl, who is already older than who I used in my take, is." FP11 said.

"Let's go!" NeoMark said

The next day at 11:30

Danny took a deep breath as he arrived at where is to meet this K Asuka.

"Okay… hair… clothes… breath… all good. Okay…" He took a deep breath. "Any minute now…"

He tapped his foot as he waited, glancing around at the people milling about. He was beginning to wonder if he was in the right place when he saw someone coming his way.

She appeared of Asian descent with brown eyes and chin-length brown hair in a feathered cut with a side-parted fringe

She wears a light blue, high-collared, sleeveless zip-up jumpsuit with black side paneling and a black swallow design on the back, which is unzipped down to her torso, showing a blue crop top underneath. The jumpsuit is adorned with a black, two-pronged belt with green stars. She also wore black, blue, and purple armored boots with three green stars around the cuff over dark blue and light blue ribbed, striped socks. She also wears elbow-length armored blue, light blue, and gray gauntlets with puffy, black banded, white cuffs above her white fingerless gloves. Over these gauntlets are blue knuckle guards and elbow guards, and she also wore leg guards over her boots.

She was, simply put, very attractive as Danny couldn't help but notice that her chest was rather developed.

"Whoa... she looks... uh... impressive..." Danny whispered to himself as he gathered his courage and approached her. "Hey there... uh... K A-sue-ka?" He asked tentatively, not knowing how to properly pronounce that.

This girl raised an eyebrow.

"Sore wa watashi no namae no hatsuonde wa arimasen." She said, looking rather annoyed with him.

"... come again?" Danny asks.

"Kikoemasendeshita ka?" She responds, a fist at her hips.

"... what?" Danny asks.

"Bakaka nani ka na no, shōti?" She questioned.

Danny just stood there, frozen in place and unsure what more to say before trying to introduce himself.

"Hi..." He said quickly.

"Dōmo." She said before giving him a judgy look. "Are… mata senohikui yatsu ka?"

"Huh?" Danny asks.

"Karera ga watashi to dēto suru tame ni okutta saigo no kobito wa,-te ni kimyōna dōgu o motta ano yotsume no henshitsu-shadeshita." She went.

"... uh... come again?" He asks.

The girl he was meeting raised her head in surprise.

"Kare wa nihongo o hanasemasen yo ne?" She became irritated.

"Uh... what?" Danny asks.

With a tired sigh, she closed her eyes and did her best to recall how she should present herself.

"Hello..." She said in English.

"Uh... hi." He went. "So... are you... K Ah-Sue-Kah."

"Ah-sue...? Bakananoka nanina no ka?" She snapped before recognizing her tone was making his nervous, causing her to start shaking her head to calm down. "It's pronounced Oz-ka. I am Asuka Kazama. I am... not that fluent with English." She said.

"Oh... it's... cool. Anyway, I'm Danny Fenton and... these are for you." He said.

Asuka was presented with flowers and seemed to be more relaxed.

"Off to a decent start, getting my name wrong aside..." She said, taking the flowers and nodded.

"Sorry… you'd think after meeting 2 or 3 girls before with Japanese ancestry, I could understand a few words." Danny said.

"You've met other Japanese girls?" Asuka asks.

"Yeah. Anyway… I'm sorry I got your name wrong, Asuka." Danny apologized.

Seeing him genuinely remorseful, Asuka smiled at him.

"It's okay…" She said, waving her hand in a friendly manner. "So... let's go." She went, gesturing him to come as she started walking.

"Sure." Danny said as he followed her.

As he did, he thought to himself.

Huh... so it's not K Ah-sue-kah, it's K Asuka... He thought before it dawned on him. Wait...

He stopped in his tracks as his mind raced.

"My date tonight was a girl who went by the handle of K Oz-ka!" He heard Tucker pronounce.

"K… huh?" Danny asks.

His mind replayed it, only now the letters K Oz-ka that flowed through his head were replaced with K Asuka.

"My date tonight was a girl who went by the handle of K Asuka!"

"Wait… so…" Danny realized as his memories of hearing that name replayed, the correct spelling now appearing in his thoughts.

"If you see your date is K Asuka… run!" Tucker went.

"Of course… not sure who to feel bad for. Him or this K Asuka girl…" Danny recalled how he went in bemusement, pronouncing a name he never heard before as best as he could.

He recalls Kim mentioning her when it came to her friend, Ron.

"He went with some girl named "K Asuka"." Kim explained with air quotes. "All he could say is "she's a 20 out of 10 but she's also hazardous to my health"." Kim said, emulating Ron's voice as best as she could.

"There's that name again… K Asuka. Tucker said he met her and sounded a lot like what your friend said." Danny remembered he told Kim.

He then recalled the next two times he heard that name.

"Although, Danny? You should watch out. Yesterday, I found a biker gang that was beaten by a girl named "Asuka". I met her and fought her… she was… tough." Makoto said.

"I can't believe you let that Asuka girl do that to you on the train. What's her problem if you wanna break up with your sensitive girlfriend?" One rude looking man said.

It all made him realize he never knew how the name was spelled. And with her saying how it was pronounced, it made him realize who he was with.

"Oh my gosh... that's her... She's the girl everyone warned me about." He said, slightly afraid of what she's capable of to have made even Makoto concerned for his well-being around her.

Asuka looked back, questioning him being so far back.

"Hey! You comin'?" She asks.

"Oh... yyyeah! Yeah!" He went, hurrying up.

I have to be extra careful with her... He thought.

"And our final video game character, penultimate new girl, and antepenultimate date of this take… Asuka Kazama from the Tekken series." NeoMark said proudly.

"HELLO NURSE!" Yakko and Wakko went in unison, much to Dot's irritation.

"Boys…" She muttered.

All of the other authors had different expressions. None of them speak a word yet.

FP11 looked confused.

61394 looked happy.

BCFW sighed, dropping his shoulders. Whatever he was thinking was hidden behind his face as he muttered about needing coffee.

Luiz4200 looked shocked.

PF1991 looked interested.

And finally, Batguy01 looked and just shrugged before speaking up.

"Who?" He asks.

"Isn't this the arcade game you played at Dave & Buster's before we left?" FP11 asks.

"Yup. How lucky am I it was a Tekken 5 arcade cabinet. By the way, let's just say this takes place after 5 for those wondering where in the timeline this takes place. Before Jin, who may or may not be her cousin, basically started World War III to hunt down a demon only for that to go South because killing the demon didn't cause the scary Devil Gene that turned him and his sociopath dad into winged monsters as a super form that they inherited from his paternal grandmother. And this is before Kazumi, the grandma, tried to kill Heihachi Mishima, Jin's grandfather who was one of the big baddies of Tekken until recently, forcing him to take her life and become more of a bad dude than he was before, and Kazuya, Jin's dad, wanted revenge after his dad threw him off a cliff when he was a kid, then years later Kazuya got his revenge and took over his dad's company, the Mishima Zaibatsu, only to lose and is saved by Jun Kazuya, a woman who is convinced she could redeem him and resulted in the birth of the illegitimate son, Jin, but Kazuya has no real attachment to either and is obsessed with power and dominance and Jin wants to end the terrible things the Mishima have done, even though he ends up taking over the Mishima Zaibatsu and causes said war because… I can see from expressions that I may have lost you all in that really long explanation of what Tekken is." NeoMark said.

"Sort of…" FP11 said. "I mostly just heard someone who may or may not be her cousin started World War III, the rest sounds like a soap opera with pure evil roaming about with a family ruining people's lives."

"So… like a regular soap opera?" Deadpool asks.

"... that's an oddly accurate description…" FP11 said.

"Yeah…I haven't looked into the history of Tekken yet, just getting into the game out of respect for things I've heard." BCFW remarked.

"I'm not saying anything since I'm not familiar with Tekken." Luiz4200 said.

"The special moves are cool." PF1991 said.

"Again, not much of a gamer, but okay." Batguy01 said.

"I was right, it's Tekken." 61394 said. "I love these games."

"You've played them?" Everyone asks.

"It's been a while, but yeah. Tekken is a fun fighting game. The character roster is cool and the fights are awesome." 61394 answers.

"So… demon genes and… her cousin's dad's side of the family are pretty much evil? I got that right? Anything else you want to cram into that or is that the end of it?" FP11 asks, rubbing her head as she felt she got more information than she needed to.

"I know from google at least that Tekken 8 came out recently, so I assume what you said was just the basics of its main story. Alright, I might need a pen and paper to write down anything I would need to know about this character specifically." Batguy01 said.

"Okay… that was more Tekken as a whole, I should probably just mention Asuka's whole thing. She's the alleged cousin of Jin Kazama from his mom's side… but they've never canonically met… and BOY were people upset when they two were finally in the same room in Tekken 8 but… let's recall this is set years before that game was even announced. Anyway, here's the basics of Asuka: she's an aggressive tomboy who is close to her father and practices their own style of martial arts, she beats up thugs and gangs in Osaka because she likes to keep the peace, she's a rival to Lili de Rochefort, and I'm guessing Katsuhiro Harada must hate her because he doesn't let her get involved in anything important despite that. Even if she's not Jin's cousin, she shares his last name so she should at least have some dialogue with him that's not left to a non-canon ending…"

"Who's Katsuhiro Harada?" FP11 asks.

"Head of fighting games at Bandai Namco, owners of Tekken. People have complained about Asuka's lack of involvement in the main storyline and how she's presented… and I think he seems to miss the point but that's not relevant here." NeoMark explained.

"What is important is that this guy here is probably gonna treat Asuka with more respect than the guy who is in charge of the franchise she's from." Deadpool said.

"Typical studio interference." 61394 grumbled.

"Well, Danny is a nice guy so it's possible, even if I don't know the level he's being compared to." Luiz4200 said.

"Yes he is, and I guess he's going to be a better date if he doesn't screw up." PF1991 said.

"Well… even though I'm not much of a gamer, I'm kind of curious as to why her?" Batguy01 asked.

"I figured, what with Sakura being from a Capcom game, you'd have used another Capcom character like how I used 2 DC characters. Right?" FP11 asks.

"Well, I did get suggestions for someone from the Ace Attorney games, and those being re-released recently did make them cross my mind… but since Sakura and Kula are fighting game characters, I figured in the end not to break this streak and them being fighters makes them more likely to be of aid in a fight. Plus, I kind of wanted to find someone more on the semi-real world fighting side. See, despite that Tekken features people with devil genes, cyborgs and bears as fighters… I'm not kidding… the fighting styles for the characters are mostly wrapped around real world martial arts. Asuka doesn't have fireballs or eye beams or the Electric Wind God Fist, that's Heihachi's move and yes that is the name, she fights like a normal person… relatively speaking. And, like Barbara, she's close to her dad and went after a martial artist named Feng Wei for assaulting him but didn't get payback, instead she got a rival that- Actually, too long. Basically, cares for her dad, no magic powers, like Barbara. Close enough…" NeoMark said.

"If you say so." Everyone else said.

"Works for me. I wonder if Danny's going to run into King or Roger. Kazuya's probably going to show up somewhere in this." 61394 grinned in excitement "This is going to be great, guys."

None of them shared his enthusiasm.

"So…that's the criteria?" BCFW asked slowly.

"Right… back to the story. This bit took too long…" NeoMark grumbled as his rambling took a while.

"So… one last thing. Why did she seem surprised that Danny didn't understand her speaking in Japanese? Does she think he's bilingual or that he has a universal translator?" Batguy01 asks.

"Short answer: everyone in Tekken speaks their first language and somehow everyone understands everyone, I'll get more into it later…" Neo answered.

At a Japanese restaurant

Asuka sat back with a smile on her face as her order arrived.

"Subarashī! Dōmo arigatōgozaimasu!" Asuka smiled at the large plate of sushi that appeared before her. "Itadakimasu!" She said as she put her hands together as if in a prayer.

Danny blinked as his dish of yakisoba arrived.

"I take it that you like sushi." Danny said with a playful smile. Asuka looked up, seeming annoyed with his question that it made him pull back. "Uh… don't take that as an insult and all… that wasn't me making some jab at you being Japanese."

To his relief, Asuka laughed it off.

"Don't worry…" Asuka assured him. "When it comes to food, I'll eat anything. All my training, I can't afford to be too picky."

"Training?" Danny asks, only to be ignored as Asuka took spicy tuna into her mouth and moaned in delight at tasting it. "Uh… nevermind…" He said as he started eating with chopsticks.

I gotta thank Sakura for showing me how it works… He thought as his eyes darted to Asuka.

She noticed him looking, causing him to look away. Asuka went back to her plate and was about to take another piece of her sushi mix before seeing Danny's eyes dart up again. She glanced at him, thinking he's doing something wrong as he looked away.

"What do you think you're doing?" She asks.

"N-Nothing." Danny went nervously.

"I know what you're thinking…" She said in a low voice.

"You do?" Danny asks, feeling nervous.

Her chopsticks came close to his face, Asuka holding them as if they were blades ready to pierce his face.

"If you try to make jokes about my chest, I'll clobber you like I threatened that dorky kid I got more than a week ago from this town when he tried it." She said.

Hearing her use of the word dorky made Danny realize something.

"Was this dorky kid a guy with glasses and a beret, and did he happen to be named Tucker?" Danny asks.

"You know him?" She asks with an eyebrow raised.

"He's my best friend. He called you, and I'm sorry if this upsets you, a babe, but you're scary. Of course, now that I know just what he did, I can see why he didn't have a good time…" Danny said, eyes darting away now that he knew just what happened.

Seriously, Tuck… Danny thought, knowing talking about a girl's chest, even if you were dating her, was a good way to upset them big time.

Asuka nodded as she pulled her chopsticks away.

"I see… well…" Asuka then stood up and, to Danny's surprise, she bowed to him quickly, her fists clenched and her hair obscuring her face. "Gomen'nasai. Sore wa watashiniha kūrude wa arimasendeshita."

"Huh?" Danny asks.

I should probably pick up a Japanese to English dictionary… Danny thought, figuring that even if he didn't pick one of his many dates from Japan, it wouldn't hurt to learn the language.

"While he was being a lecherous little pain… he was harmless compared to people I've seen around this town. So, please let him know I apologize for scaring him." She said before standing up and sitting back down.

"Uh… sure." Danny went, going back to eating his food.

Well, she's willing to apologize. So, is she like some kind of bully or something? Danny thought.

"So, outside of him being your friend, tell me more about yourself, Fenton-san?" Asuka politely asks.

"Well… I go to Casper High here in Amity Park. I'm 14, lived here my whole life, with my parents and I've got an older sister. You already know about Tucker...but my other best friend is Sam, but she's out of town for the summer. As for what I do, I like video games, bowling and want to be an astronaut." He answered.

"Uchū hikō-shi? That sounds neat." Asuka said with a tiny smile.

"Thanks… so, you?" Danny asks.

"I live in Osaka, specifically the prefecture, not the city, in Japan. Although, I sometimes go to the city. I live with my dad, and I go to school on my bike." Asuka said.

"Really?" Danny asks.

Weird… she doesn't seem so bad… He thought.

As the two ate and talked, the television was playing, though neither saw the news.

"And in other news, police and military are on the lookout for wanted criminal Bryan Fury… if anyone has any information on this man… please contact your local police immediately." The anchorwoman said.

To her right was the picture of a pale-haired man with sunken eyes and a scar over his left eye.

"Who?" All the authors asked.

"Recurring Tekken villain… I needed a villain from that series and Heihachi's too big, Kazuya's too big, Azazel's their equivalent of the devil, Nina Williams is too out of place, and Reina's too recent." Neo explained.

"Aren't you a Tekken fan, 61394? How do you not know who he is?" Yakko asked

"Just because I like something doesn't mean I know who every character is. I love Animaniacs but I never heard of Katie before the original chapter." 61394 answered.

"No offense, Number Boy, but she was a pretty well known character despite her few appearances in the actual show. Not necessarily because she was the funniest, mind you." Deadpool said.

"None taken, Wade. I haven't seen a lot of the original show, only times I saw Katie was when she was a background character in Wakko's Wish and the one time in the reboot." 61394 shrugged as he decided to sit back down.

"Hey wait." Batguy01 spoke up. "You said characters in Tekken speak only in their native languages, right? Unless she has a translator of some form as said before. So, shouldn't Asuka only be speaking Japanese? One of your rules said these characters had to have English voices. Right?"

"True, but she's only been dubbed in English once. Street Fighter x Tekken… it ain't the most beloved crossover game… but it did give her an English voice. The only English voice she's ever had as she's not in the Blood Vengeance movie or the Netflix anime… though those could be blessings in disguise." NeoMark admitted.

"Really? Were they just bad or the like?" Batguy01 asks.

"A little of that and a pinch of not so accurate to the games. Anyway, since she's only had an English voice once, I figure we make it that she never really uses it that much, hence why she's using it here." NeoMark said.

With Danny and Asuka

Once their lunch was over, the two walked together down the street. Asuka had her hands behind her back as she thought to herself.

"So… what do we do for the day?" She asks herself.

"Anything you wanna do, I know all the good spots in town like the mall, movie theater, and bowling alley." Danny said as he walked beside her.

"Hmm… that's tough to pick, considering this date has already gone longer than my usuals. Most guys at this point were scared off… the ones that remained did so because they were scared to upset me…" She said.

I can't help but wonder how dangerous she is that they'd be afraid of her… Is she just normal level strong or superhuman level strong? He thought.

"So, Asuka? Can I ask you something?" He asks.

"What's up?" She asks, turning her head slightly.

"So… what's your reason to join this program? Also, what're you doing here in America?" He asks.

Asuka looked at him, seemingly puzzled that he'd ask that before looking way.

"My dad… wanted me to take a trip with my class to get my mind off stuff. When someone spotted the flier, my dad insisted on it." She admitted casually.

"What kind of stuff?" Danny asks.

"Extended family drama, some obsessive rival, trouble I'm in with local troublesome boneheads… stuff like that." Asuka admitted.

Drama? Rival? Boneheads? Danny thought, wondering what this meant.

Before he could ask, they reached the entrance to an alleyway where a group of men stepped out, looking oddly familiar to Danny.

"There she is!" One of them shouted.

"That's the girl who made a fool out of me!" Another went, hand on his face in recollection of an injury.

It took Danny a moment to realize these were the men he saw days ago.

"I've seen them before…" He said under his breath.

"Oi! What's the problem?" Asuka asks as she had her fists at her hips. "You better tell me you made up with your girlfriend! Bakana gomi!" She went.

"I don't know what a buccaneer gummi or whatever you said is… but I know when I'm being insulted!" That man shouted.

Danny stepped back, reaching for Asuka's elbow.

"We should probably go." He said.

"No. Lemme show these guys they can't just be rude to their girlfriends…" She insisted.

As Danny tried to calm her down, he heard the sounds of motorcycles coming down the street. Soon enough, he saw several aggressive looking men in a biker gang arrive, getting off their vehicles and marching towards them.

"Well well well… that tip we got from that weasel from the restaurant was right… the gutsy girl from the east was there." Their leader, an overweight man with a large beard, said as he and his men approached. "You made a fool out of me in front of that shop we were demanding protection money from. The cops almost came and nearly busted us." He said as he scowled at her.

"Those people need protection from you, not to pay you for it." Asuka said.

"Protection money?" Danny said to himself, wondering what kind of trouble she causes to attract this many people.

"THERE SHE IS!" A familiar voice called out.

Turning his head, he saw a familiar group.

"Dash and his buddies?" Danny asks.

"Fenton? What are you doing with her?" Dash went before scoffing. "Whatever, I'll pound you after we get payback on Ashley here!"

"It's Asuka… and it's not my fault that Bonnie girl from yesterday thinks you're Kanzende taegatai orokamono." She said.

Dash and the group stared blankly as they slowly looked towards Kwan, who raised an eyebrow at them.

"What?" He asks.

"What'd she say?" Dash asks.

"She's Japanese, I'm Chinese. That's Racial Profiling…" Kwan complained.

All of them looked away, wanting to move on from that unpleasant moment as Dash resumed his bullying ways.

"Bonnie would have turned around… eventually…" Dash insisted. "But after that Mandy girl said no to me and stormed off… then I saw you and Twinky here down the street, I decided to be merciful and give you a choice: go out with me or we'll pound ya! And Twinky here, too!"

Asuka scoffed at everyone before waving her hand dismissively at them.

"Kimitachi wa amarini mo orokananode, hotondo waraeru. Tadashi,-gao o kowasanai hodo omoshiroku wa arimasen." She went.

"What'd she say?" Dash asks.

Asuka held her hand out at Danny, having him step back.

"Promise me you'll step back…" She said as she pound a fist into her hand. "Now…Dare ga saisho ni kossetsu shitai to omoudeshou ka?" She asks.

Okay... now what? Is this the part where I find out why Tucker was so scared of upsetting her? He thinks.

Two of the college men stalked towards Asuka with sneers on their faces. They stopped in front of her and tried to look intimidating.

"Look, little girl, we're a bunch of nice guys, so we'll give you one chance to apologize, now." One of them said.

"Well, you are cute, so how about you show us a good time, and we'll leave your pretty face alone." The other one said as they both looked at her chest.

He tried to grab her, but she suddenly disappeared.

Blinking, the two didn't see Asuka jumping into the air, spinning vertically, and hitting the two with her heels, knocking them face first to the ground, heel indents on their heads. She then landed behind them and patted her shirt, like something dirty touched it.

"Lyana buta-tachi…" She said before turning to the shocked college men who suddenly grew mad.

"You'll pay for that!" They shouted as they rushed her at once. When they got close, she started doing a lot of kicks, her leg moving so fast that it seemed like she had several of them. Surprised, the men didn't react in time as they got pummeled by her foot, falling to the ground, barely conscious and covered in her shoe prints.

"Boys! Take her!" The leader biker shouted as they pulled out weapons, ranging from metal bats, metal pipes, chains, and brass knuckles.

With loud shouts, the bikers all rushed towards Asuka. Danny tensed his muscles, ready to jump in when necessary.

Calmly, Asuka waited for the first one to come closer, ducking the wild swing from the biker's pipe, before she delivered a strong palm strike that sent the biker crashing towards two bikers, sending them to the wall.

She then moved her head to dodge a chain from behind, grabbing it and giving it a strong pull, pulling the biker along before giving a kick that sent him crashing to some garbage bins. She suddenly leapt into the air, dodging two bikers that swung their metal bats, missing and hitting each other's face.

She landed between two more bikers, who couldn't react fast enough as she struck at their throats, stunning them, followed with a roundhouse kick that hit both of them, sending them to the floor.

"Anata wa nioi to onaji kurai hidoi tatakai o shimasu…" She said, waving her hand in her face before turning her back to them to face the bikers.

"You'll pay for that!" The leader exclaimed as he rushed towards Asuka, swinging his pipe wildly.

With a quick chop to the wrist, Asuka disarmed the biker, and gave a punch to the jaw, causing him to spin before falling to the ground.

Taking a calming breath, Asuka turned to the jocks, who were staring at her with wide eyes and jaws.

"Uh… should we go?" Kwan asks as he felt this was a bad idea.

"Flank her!" Dash ordered.

Reluctantly, the jocks followed Dash's orders, flanking around Asuka, who didn't look impressed.

"Nante baka no shūdan'na nda." She said in a dismissive manner as the jocks all rushed at her. Jumping to a handstand, Asuka performed a spinning split kick, hitting the jocks at once, sending them flying across the alley.

Dash watched with a terrified expression as he watched his crew easily get beaten by the girl. He then turned to Danny, his expression becoming angry.

"This is your fault!" He exclaimed, rushing towards Danny.

Before he could reach him, Asuka got in front of him and delivered a kick.

Though she intended to kick Dash in the stomach, she miscalculated her aim and accidentally hit him between the legs.

Dash fell to his knees, feeling pain that he never felt before. He turned his terrified eyes towards Asuka, who looked at him coldly.

"Anata no naizō o zerī-jō ni suru mae ni maigo ni natte kudasai… Baka yarō." She responded before smiling. "That basically means leave now…" She added.

Dash squealed as he slowly crawled away from her. Once that was done, Asuka motioned for the pile of injured men to try again. Instead, all the jocks, bikers and the rest shuddered in fear.

"RUN!" Dash squealed, holding his groin.

As all of them ran away, some carrying the rest over their shoulders as they couldn't run, Asuka huffed as she saw Danny just stare at her blankly.

"Ā... Kare mo kowaidesu ka? Ā, nante kotodarou. Watashi wa kareshi nado o sagashite ita wakede wa arimasendeshitaga, kare no yōna hito-tachi o kowagara setakunakatta nodesu." She said to herself in Japanese, clearly regretting what she just did in front of him, before clearing her throat. "Fenton? Uh… I know you might have questions...about… What you just saw… See, my dad runs his own dojo, we teach our own martial arts and… well, the Kazama family has a history of stopping conflict and… well… I go to Osaka and beat up thugs and bullies. It's given me kind of a reputation, it doesn't bug me but… if it scares you… Well…"

Asuka was unsure what else to say, having not wanted anyone to think her a monster.

"You…" Danny suddenly went, his face being emotionless.

"So… if you're scared of me like the rest… I understand." Asuka bowed to him graciously. "We can call this off as soon as you-"

"You… Are… AWESOME!" Danny went, having the biggest smile on his face.

Asuka's head raised, her expression contorted with shock and confusion.

"Nani?" She asks.

"The way you… and you… then you just…" He made gestures to match how she fought, looking excited as he did so. "That was so cool!"

Asuka blinked in surprise before a small smile came to her face.

Most boys are scared away, even back home. I never cared that much even though I don't want everyone to be afraid of me… but this is… oddly comforting. She thought.

"So… you're not scared of me?" She asks to be sure.

"Nope." Danny went, fists under his chin as his eyes seemed to sparkle as he looked at her.

Asuka could tell he wasn't looking at her chest, but her arms, especially the muscles. Clearly, this boy seemed to find women like her attractive. She didn't know why, but she found him more endearing as a result.

"So… Danny, I- oh, wait… I used your first name now, huh?" She went.

"I give you full permission to call me that." Danny went.

'Oh, okay. So, Danny-san? Any chance we can just walk around the town for now?" Asuka asks.

"Definitely." He went.

Asuka smiled as she put a hand on his head and patted it as a sign of friendship.

"Lead the way, Shorty." She said.

"Sure thing." Danny went eagerly as he guided her.

Her nickname she just gave didn't bother him, seeing it as a sign she was warming up to him. He was just happy to see this girl was not at all what he was afraid she'd be.

What the heck was Tucker so scared of? She ROCKS! Danny thought happily.

"Show of hands. Who here figured Danny would go full on into tough girls for Asuka Kazama?" Deadpool asks.

Everyone raised their hands.

"It's kind of how Neo writes him. He meets a girl, she kicks butt… though Asuka might have caused some internal bleeding and some fractured bones… and Danny is so into her that it's like he's been hit by a million arrows from Cupid." FP11 said.

"I agree, although I admire that Danny's got nothing against women who can kick some butt." Batguy01 said.

"It had been hinted at, but are you sure you want him to go full? Sounds a bit overboard." BCF said with a concerned face, scratching his beard fuzz.

"Yep." PF1991 said.

"Without this personality trait, he'd have never been interested on Sam." Luiz4200 said as he decided to speak his mind.

"Shocker, the guy whose profile picture is Danny and Kim smooching likes pairing with girls who can kick butt." 61394 said.

"He's made Danny the biggest… not sure if this word is okay to say here with this rating… rhymes with wimp, for Asuka." Deadpool said.

"That's right. I guess we should be thankful Asuka doesn't really know her cousin Jin that well, as Heihachi would find out about this and, well, Danny wouldn't have lived to see his wedding." 61394 says with a shudder.

"That's true. Asuka not being in the original might've been a blessing for that universe." Deadpool said.

"Is this Heihachi guy as dangerous and crazy as you keep hinting at?" FP11 asks.

"Yes." NeoMark and 61394 said in unison.

"He's been basically the big villain of the series for years." NeoMark said.

"He's also been the kind of father that someone like Fire Lord Ozai, Walburga Black, Belos and the Fruitloop would admire." 61394 said with a nod.

PF1991 agreed with 61394.

"I noticed the choice of words. You said he's been the big bad, not that he is. So, what happened?" FP11 asks.

"Let's just say… from Tekken 8 and onward, he's retired. No spoilers for people who don't play Tekken. But yeah, Boss, Heihachi Mishima is bad news like Pariah Dark with his crown and ring." 61394 said.

"I guess that works…hopefully." BCFW added with a shrug.

"Well, Asuka being able to take down all those men without taking a hit does paint her as tough and skilled. So, she's mentioned something of a rival, right? Like, fighting game rival or personal rival?" Batguy asks.

"Fighting game rival." NeoMark answered. "And speaking of her…"

"And there is where the ghost we call Danny Phantom fought that giant plant monster that took over the town for a few days." Danny said as he pointed to where Undergrowth was defeated.

"Ghosts. I've seen a few over the days. I remember at the mall two days ago that there were monsters, like some girl dressed like KISS and a knight. I'd have stepped in, but I saw a bunch of those superhero people doing the job. Figured I wasn't needed if someone else was handling it." Asuka said with a nod.

"You were there?" Danny asks.

"The darn dating service was down, so I had to kill some time." She admits.

"Huh…" Danny said before thinking. "So… did you by any chance meet a girl named Makoto Kino? She was one of my dates and left that day."

"I did. I took down those biker punks. She thought I was gonna hurt that store, so we fought. Gotta say… she was tough. She realized I wasn't gonna hurt those people." Asuka admitted.

"She also warned me not to get in trouble with you." Danny said.

"Well… to be fair, I kind of get people a little worried I'd rough them up." Asuka admitted before seeing Danny with a small smile on her face. "Gotta say, most boys wouldn't want to spend time with me, much less stand around me, after seeing what I just did to over a dozen guys."

"I don't have a problem with that." Danny said.

Asuka, hearing that, felt a little flustered. She didn't see him in a romantic sense, but she did seem to find his interest in her rather flattering.

"Well, for someone who is a bully victim by that bonehead in the jacket, you're quite the charmer…" She said to him with a smile.

"Thanks." Danny said with a blush. "So… where'd you learn to fight like that again? Your dad?"

"Yup. After some creep beat him up big time at our dojo, I went out looking for the guy at the tournament. Didn't get the chance but thankfully he lost." Asuka said, looking disappointed she never got her chance to fight.

"Tournament? One of the World Warrior Tournaments or the King of Fighters?" Danny asks.

"I'm impressed you heard of those. But no, King of the Iron Fist." Asuka said.

"... that street level hero I hear about in New York?" Danny asks.

"No. It's a martial arts tournament held by the Mishima Zaibatsu." Asuka said.

"I think I heard of them… My friend Sam is super anti-corporation and brings up the dirty deeds that company did. Including military weapons, rumors of experiments on humans, and some secret mercenary group called… I think… the Tekken Force?" Danny responded.

"Your friend is smart. The Mishima family, including Heihachi Mishima, are a bunch of psychos." Asuka responded.

"So… what does Tekken mean?" Danny asks.

"It basically means Iron Fist, that's where the tournament name comes from…" Asuka responds.

"And that's where the name came from, in case any of you were wondering…" NeoMark said.

"Good to know." 61394 said with a nod.

"Thanks for the info, Neo." FP11 said.

"Okay… So that's three franchises of martial arts tournaments in this world. How often do contestants from each get involved with each other in this shared universe version of them?" Batguy asks.

"Often, and that's kind of canon. Not only do the Capcom vs SNK games exist, and the infamous Street Fighter x Tekken, but Akuma is kind of canon to the backstory of Mishima's history in Tekken 7." NeoMark said.

"...who? Sorry but I mentioned I'm not much of a gamer, the only games I've had interest in are Mario games." Batguy said.

"A bad guy from Street Fighter." NeoMark said.

"This Danny's gone through a lot more fighting than in the original story." 61394 said.

"Yep." Batguy said.

"Anyway… back to action." Deadpool said.

"Huh… I've met someone who is a fan of Ryu from the Street Fighter tournaments, I've met one who went to the KOF tourneys, and you've been in the Iron Fist King Tournaments. I'm suddenly a magnet for people who go to these things. I'm kind of wanting to see them myself." Danny said.

"Well, next time the MIshima Zaibatsu is up for grabs, I'll let you know." Asuka said.

"Huh?" Danny asks.

"Heihachi has been willing to put his company up as the prize for the winner… assuming they defeat him." Asuka said.

"That seems… disproportionately great a reward for a fighting tournament." Danny said, scratching his head as he recalled what Asuka said about her father. "So, remind me. Did you beat up the guy who beat up your dad?"

"No…" Asuka said in disappointment before looking a bit miffed. "I did get a rival I never asked for…"

"Huh?" Danny asks before a limousine suddenly cuts them off at the crosswalk they were about to cross. "Hey! You could've gotten a lawsuit here!"

The limousine that had about 4 doors on each side stopped with the final door appearing in front of them before it swung open.

Stepping out was a young blonde girl with long hair, yet dressed in a strange outfit. A frilly white jacket worn over a shorter, more frilly skirt white heeled boots with red socks, and a red plaid tie pinned with a likely expensive pendant. She scoffed at Danny's shouting.

"My family has more than enough money to pay for your inability to watch where you step." She said dismissively.

Great, a blonde Paulina… Danny thought before seeing Lili directing her attention to Asuka.

"Ah, Miss Kazama… Good to find you." She said.

Asuka's face turned red with anger as her fists clenched.

"Ittai nani no tame ni watashi o oikakete iru nodesu ka? O shiri o watasa reru no ga son'nani kutsūdesu ka?!" She shouted.

"Uh… Asuka?" Danny asks.

"I was punished for entering the tournament… and I couldn't get my revenge on your defeating me… but, because Father made me come with him, thinking you wouldn't be here… once I found out you were here, I had to come find you. Now… Asuka Kazama…" She said with an air of haughtiness as she took on a fighting stance. "... you will regret ever meeting Lili de Rochefort."

Asuka was fuming angry as Danny stepped up.

"Are you talking about someone else or are you speaking in the third person?" He questioned.

"Speak when spoken to." Lili dismissed him as she gestured for Asuka to come closer. "Come… face me, if you dare."

And… I already regret meeting you. Danny thought in bitterness.

"Hinto o mite mayotte mimasen ka?!" Asuka shouted, fist raised not for combat but to indicate she was angry.

Danny remained there, conflicted on what to do.

On the one hand… Asuka's fighting is hot… on the other… fighting this girl in a more public area is gonna attract attention. He thought.

Fortunately, a street brawl was cut short when her butler briefly stepped out of the limousine.

"I'm afraid your father has called for you, Miss Lili. He wants you back at the penthouse because his deal with the mayor of this town was canceled due to him still being in the hospital." He said.

"Is that so, Sebastian? Well… I best not keep Father waiting…" Lili said as she dropped her stance and pointed at Asuka. "Know this, Asuka Kazama, next we meet is when you and I face each other once more!"

Lili then re-entered the limousine, which drove off. Asuka grumbled.

"O shiri no itami…" She said under her breath.

"Huh?" Danny asks.

"She's a pain in the butt…" Asuka answered him before taking a deep breath. "Anyway… anywhere else you'd like to show me?" She asked politely, doing a 180 on her mood.

Danny blinked, figuring this Lili girl must be the rival she spoke of, and how irritating she is, so he decided to please Asuka and get her mind off that pest.

"Sure…" He said. "We c-

An explosion went off down the street.

"Nani datte?!" Asuka asks as she hurried down to see, with Danny following her in case it was ghost trouble.

No ghost sense… He thought, wondering who is causing this.

That's when they saw a burning truck had crashed into an abandoned gas station. Thankfully, no casualties were seen, but that's when the man driving it broke out from the back windshield and pulled himself out.

"Hua-hahahahaahah!" He went madly.

Asuka's eyes squinted a bit as she somewhat recognized this man.

This man who was shirtless showing off his muscled abs he wore a red bandana on one arm and a bandolier of bullets on the other black jeans and steel toed boots a silver belt buckle his hair was close cropped and he had a manic look in his eyes

"Bryan Fury?" She questioned as a sense of anger and a sliver of fear towards Bryan and protectiveness towards Danny was emerging in her.

Danny, meanwhile, remained still, wondering who or what this Bryan Fury is.

And here I was hoping for a date without a fight… Danny thought wondering how he could slip away to go ghost

"Okay… what do I do now?" He asks under his breath as Asuka takes him by the wrist and pulls him back. "Hey! What the-"

"Danny-san! Run!" She said.

"Huh?" Danny went.

"Don't argue, this man is dangerous. Let me handle this, I'm a better fighter than you." Asuka insisted.

Although he wanted to argue, the fact that he could go someplace to morph to aid her in stopping this crazy man as Danny Phantom.

"Okay." He said as he stepped back before stepping back in briefly. "You got this."

Once he went, Asuka pounded a fist into her hand.

"Oi! Kurutta mania yo! Ittai nani o kangaete koko ni kite iru nda?! Koko ni wa tōnamento mo nani mo arimasen!" She shouts.

Upon seeing a somewhat familiar face in Asuka, Bryan laughed maniacally.

"Mwuahahaha! Play time!" He went with a scary grin.

Asuka, unafraid, decided to take care of this herself.

Bryan charged at Asuka and threw a haymaker, which she ducked, followed by a wild swing with his left, which she dodged by swaying right. She threw a kick, which Bryan blocked with his arm. She quickly pulled back and backflipped away to dodge Bryan's attempt to grab her.

"Fast and dainty, still lacking some muscle, ha!" Bryan taunted as Asuka just narrowed her eyes.

She charged and used her Thunder Fall Kick, but Bryan easily blocked it. She followed with a Wheel Kick, but Bryan deflected it, making her lose her balance. Taking advantage, Bryan threw a punch that struck her gut, making her gasp in pain. Not done, Bryan managed to lift her up and then spun around to throw her away. She flew straight towards the dump, breaking through the metal gates.

Smirking, Bryan walked towards Asuka, who tried to stand up. When he got close, he kicked her, making her cough a little and roll on her back. He then raised his foot, a sadistic smirk on his face.

"Die! Die-die-die!" Bryan said as he readied to stomp on Asuka. Before his foot could stomp on her, something flew in and carried her away, much to his anger. "No!"

Asuka opened her eyes and, looking down, found herself off the ground by several feet.

"Nanite kotoda! Watashi wa shinda!" She called out before realizing she was in the arms of someone else. "Nani?"

"Don't worry, As-awesome girl who fights…" Danny Phantom said as he lowered and let her go. "I got this."

"Anatahadaredesu ka?" She asks, surprised to see Danny Phantom for the first time.

"Uh… mi no hablo español?" Danny responds before seeing a rocket being fired in their direction. "I got this!"

He made a shield to block the missile, causing it to harmlessly explode. Smirking, he removed the shield, though he lost the smirk when another missile flew through the smoke and hit him, causing it to explode and sending him flying through the dump.

"Nani?!" Asuka cried as she watched her savior fly through the air. She quickly chased after him as Bryan walked through the smoke, dropping the rocket launcher.

"Come out! Little boy! Pretty girl! Let's play!" Bryan called out. "I heard about some freak here, so I came prepared. Bought a few ectoplasm rockets in case I saw you. Guess it pays to be prepared."

Meanwhile, Asuka was running through the mountains of garbage and junk to look for the Ghost Boy. She didn't know why he was her or why he would save her, but she knows that he was a good person.

She found him on top of a car, head first in the windshield, which broke upon impact. She carefully took him off the car and cradled him, seeing his dazed look. She set him down on the ground.

Asuka tries to shake the unconscious Danny Phantom awake.

"Kite! Okiro!" She looked around. "Kare ga me o samasu no o tasukeru tame ni watashi wa nani o sureba īdeshou ka? Yūrei tte dō yatte mezameru ndesu ka?"

"Easy peasy lemon squeezy…" Danny said in a dazed tone before passing out again.

She didn't see that Danny's body was morphing back, only it wasn't in the usual way. It was almost like his Phantom form was slowly melting away the longer she touched him.

In seconds, Danny Phantom was Danny Fenton, though Asuka didn't see that.

"Where are you?!" Bryan called out.

"Kare o anzen'na basho ni tsurete ikanakereba narimasen…" She then looked to who was in her hands, only to gasp upon seeing this person changed form. "Danny-san?"

Danny stirred awake as he sat up, a hand at his head as he rubbed.

"What happened?" He asks upon looking down and, to his horror, he has changed back to human form. "Uh oh…"

Looking up, he saw Asuka was gesturing to him with a baffled expression on her face.

"Wha-what are you?" She asks, at a complete loss at what she just saw.

"Oh… uh…" Danny went, drawing a blank.

Before anything else could happen, a missile struck a nearby, broken down bus, blowing it up. This causes them the two to be knocked back from the shockwave of the explosion, despite being 30 feet away.

"Play-ay!" Bryan Fury called out before laughing maniacally.

As the two were getting back up, Danny morphed to get to action.

"Explanations after?" He asks.

Asuka looked to him, then in the direction they heard Bryan called out, then back to Danny. She nodded.

"Wakatta." She said.

"I'll take that as a yes." Danny said. "So… ideas on taking this guy down?"

"So… what happened with Danny? How did he change back in an odd way? Did Asuka just turn Danny back into his human form?" Batguy asks.

"So… abridged take: the Kazama family have some ancestral power that cancels out the Devil Gene. That non-canon encounter with her cousin I've mentioned? She unknowingly canceled out his Devil Form. I'm just assuming this power can work with others with supernatural powers but not as well. Since Danny's powers are artificial, it took longer. Thankfully, unlike Jin and Kazuya, Danny's not starting world war III or seeking to kill his own dad." NeoMark said.

"So, with a power like that, shouldn't that make Asuka overpowered or at least somewhat important?" Batguy asks.

"You'd think… but after her introduction, her role has been… be Lili's rival. Her relation to Jin isn't all that relevant to her… which makes me wonder why bother making her related to him in any way. She tried to deal with him in 6… but that never happened. 7… still nothing. 8 is the first time she's been in the same room as Jin Kazama… and they never speak. I don't even think he even looks in her direction. You'd think that with her being a relative on his mom's side, as he was close to his mother before… well… when he became the new protagonist…sort of… of Tekken, that'd be important. This is why I complained earlier about how she's used earlier, she's the only relative of his, and the only one in the cast who isn't a Mishima, who NEVER speaks to him despite that he's pretty much hating his dad's side. This is like, say Doctor Who for example, if they introduced a character who is the Doctor's brother… but it's more like an afterthought, not really brought up nor does he know about the Doctor, and this character doesn't even meet the Doctor until like 5 seasons later… and they don't even talk before the end credits." NeoMark said.

"That does sound like a complete waste of a character with a lot of , funny story, the Doctor does have a brother in the Expanded Universe named Irving Braxiatel. Who is the exact opposite of the Doctor in terms of personality, since he is a Time Lord politician and temporal art collector who runs his own trans-dimensional museum for example." Batguy said, having chuckled a bit at what Neo said.

"I don't care what Harada says, she should be more important. They have the same last name, she was made to use his mom's playstyle, she should be more important than just force her to be nothing more than Lili's rival because it's not as good as Sakura and Karin in Street Fighter since they aren't even friends." NeoMark said.

"Considering you said Jin's last name is Kazama and not Mishima, I'm assuming he was an illegitimate son. It sounds like he should be a little closer to his mom's side, seeing as you keep describing the Mishimas as jerks and the like." Batguy said.

"NeoMark… you're taking up time with this bit." Deadpool said.

"Oh, sorry…" NeoMark said as the story continued.

Bryan Fury walked around, a grin on his face as he waited for the two he was aiming to shoot at them again.

"Come out! Play with me! MUAHAHAHAHAAH!" He went.

Danny and Asuka exchanged glances before they nodded in unison, deciding it was time to face their adversary. They both dashed out from behind their cover, each of them adopting a fighting stance. Danny's body glowed with an ethereal energy, while Asuka's muscles tensed up.

"Back off, dude with the admitted cool yet kind of 90's as heck name!" Danny said. "Best turn around and leave, you don't wanna trouble."

"Yes I do!" Bryan Fury snarled, his eyes narrowing. "You think you can just tell me what to do? Huh? I'll show you!" He charged forward, his fists flying at them with brutal force and a wicked cackle.

Danny Phantom ducked under the first punch and then shot upwards, his ghostly hands turning into energy blades that slashed across Bryan's chest. Asuka Kazama, meanwhile, sidestepped the second punch and then countered with a spinning kick that sent the massive man stumbling backwards.

"Bakana panku." Asuka said in between clenched teeth.

"Yes! Pretty girl hits! Die now!" Bryan cackled as he got up and charged at Asuka, swinging his fist wildly.

The girl jumped to the side, her agility on full display, and countered with another spinning kick that sent him flying across the clearing. Danny, meanwhile, floated above the brute and unleashed a barrage of energy blasts from his hands, forcing Bryan to dodge and weave.

Bryan, seeing Danny in the air, grinned as he pulled out the rocket launcher and aimed.

"Forget that!" Asuka said as she swung her fist and knocked the weapon out of his hand.

"My new toy!" Bryan growled, reaching for another weapon, brass knuckles. "You think you can just take away my stuff?!"

"Sore o kau okane o nusunda no wa machigainai..." Asuka said.

In response, Bryan performed a technique he called Whipping Fury. He kicked her into her torso, backhanded her, then swung another kick that sent Asuka flying backwards, spinning in the air.

Seeing his date injured, Danny Phantom felt a surge of anger course through his veins. He flew toward the enraged psychopath and grabbed him by the neck with one hand. His other hand formed into a ball of energy, ready to launch a devastating attack.

"It's not nice to hit a lady... especially when she's keeping you from hitting others!" Danny said.

Bryan grinned an unafraid grin as he performed the Gravity Brain Buster. Kicking one leg up, he wrapped his arms around the ghost boy before kicking with said leg to make Danny lose his footing, allowing Bryan to slam him faceup into the ground.

"Ha! Hurt you!" Bryan cackled.

Danny phased out of his grip and dashed behind the madman, aiming his energy blasts at his back.

"You're not getting away with this!" He shouted.

Bryan avoided it with simple motions from left to right.

"You're no fighter! I got kickboxing! You got fancy tricks!" Bryan shouted as he continued to dodge the energy blasts. Danny Phantom growled in frustration and decided to change tactics. He floated above the madman and extended his hands, forming two more energy blades. With a devious grin, he threw them at Bryan who jumped out of the way. "Mi-issed!" He went in a childish manner.

"Wasn't aiming at you!" Danny responded in a mocking tone that matched Bryan's.

Bryan looked back and, to his displeasure, the anti-ghost rocket launcher he got his hands on was cut in half. He marched over and glared at what was left.

"No! Do you know how much money I stole to pay for that?!" Bryan shouted as he kicked the two halves of the rocket launcher away. "You're dead!"

Before Danny could make a crack, Bryan pulled out a grenade and threw it at him.

Danny caught it in a split second, only for it to explode and send him hitting the ground.

"UGH!" He went, landing facedown.

Bryan cackled as he walked with overconfidence. He looked down at Danny and raised his fist.

"Phantom goes splat!" He then slammed his foot down, only for Danny to disappear the second he made contact with his head, causing his foot to kick up dirt. "Huh?!"

Before he knew it, Danny Phantom flew in and kneed him in the back of the head. The impact sent Bryan spinning before landing on the concrete ground. Unphased, Bryan stood back up, his nose slightly bleeding, before he saw four Dannys surrounding him.

"Yeah, making copies is something I'm better at nowadays." Danny said.

"What? Couldn't beat me on your own?" Bryan taunted.

"Nah, it's just beating you up is so fun, I want to do it three times more," Danny said as they cracked their knuckles.

"Bring it on, little Phantom." Bryan said with a wide grin.

The four Dannys rushed at Bryan, who just stood there with an eager grin. One Danny threw a kick, which Bryan ducked before jumping sideways to avoid a punch from another Danny. He then jumped sideways to avoid another Danny before throwing a punch, hitting the last Danny on the face. He then jumped back and elbowed another on the chest before delivering a wild swing that struck another Danny, making him laugh loudly.

"Is this all you g-Ugh!" Bryan went.

Suddenly, Danny delivered an uppercut that sent him flying before three other Dannys rushed at him, flying at him at fast speed. Bryan bounced around the air from every punch and kick they gave him, making him look like a pinball. Three Dannys then heel kick on the head, sending him crashing to the ground.

He shakily stood up before the four Dannys ganged up on him, surrounding him in a circle, throwing punches and kicks that he couldn't block.

"RAAAAH!" All three went.

His face and vision turning red, Bryan suddenly grabbed one of the Dannys and used him to slam the others away, causing two to turn into smoke and the real Danny smashed into a car as the Danny he used as a weapon turned to smoke.

"What are you going to do now, Ghost Boy?" Bryan asked with a manic grin as he walked towards Danny, cracking his knuckles.

"Dumb guy said 'huh'." Danny went.

"HUH?!" Bryan went before a knee from Asuka hit his face. "Gah! You stupid br-gah!"

Asuka quickly followed her surprise attack with a kick that struck his chest before using the same leg to kick Bryan's chin, sending it upward, and finishing it with a heel kick that hit his head, making him buckle down. She then did a roundhouse kick that struck his face, making him stagger a little. She continued her barrage of kicks before Bryan grabbed her leg and lifted her into the air intending to slam her to the hard ground.

Before he could, he suddenly felt an intense cold below him. Surprised, he looked down and saw his feet encased in ice. He looked and saw that the ice trailed towards Danny, who winked at him. Taking advantage of his surprise, Asuka punched him on the face, causing him to let her go. Still in the air, Asuka did a roundhouse kick with her right leg, using the momentum to slam her left heel. She then delivered a barrage of punches, turning Bryan's face into a blueberry.

"Baka, hontōwa tatakai ni kyōmigāru atarashī tomodachi to jikan o sugoshitakatta dakenanoni, sorenara anata ga watashi no kawarini sore o dainashi ni shinakereba narimasen, baka!" Asuka exclaimed angrily in Japanese as she pummeled the man as she raised her fist one more time.

Bryan only has a moment to notice this before Asuka punches him with so much force that his head was pressed into the ground, making dirt around him rise in a cloud.

Danny blinked as he watched this before he smiled in a lovesick manner.

As Asuka dusted her hands clean, sirens were heard.

"Police. Let's bail before they think we're responsible for this too." Danny said.

Asuka nodded as she raised her arms and let him pick her up and flew to the top of a pile of broken cars, turning invisible.

"Why are we still here?" Asuka asks.

"Making sure he's arrested. I know I said we should bail, but I wanna see this first." Danny answered before shushing her.

The two teenagers watched at a safe distance as dozens of police cars stopped in front of the dump. Men in blue uniforms rushed out their vehicles, followed by a Chinese man wearing a blue jacket with tigers roaring at the chest. He walked towards the unconscious Bryan, looking intrigued as the man lay unconscious, looking no worse for wear. He also noticed him being trapped by ice.

"What happened to you?" He muttered to himself before he looked to where the two teens were floating, as if sensing they were there.

"Who's that?" Danny asked as the man seemed to be looking at them.

"I've seen him, that's Lei Wulong, a strong fighter." Asuka replied. "He's usually the one in charge of taking down Bryan."

"Wow, sure hope he gets paid a lot, considering what we went through." Danny commented.

Shrugging, Lei turned to the policemen.

"Well, let's grab him before he wakes up." He ordered.

The officers cuffed the unconscious psychopath, and had to chipped off the ice surrounding his feet because they couldn't remove it, and locked him at the back of the vehicle before driving him away, the Chinese man going with him.

Once he was gone, Danny turned himself and Asuka visible and landed her on the ground.

"That was close…" Danny said before noticing Asuka's back was turned. "Uh… Asuka?"

"So…" Asuka spoke up. "Care to explain…" She turned and gestured to him. "... this entire thing?"

"Oh... right…" Danny said, knowing he's got a lot to talk about.

"Okay… pay up." Deadpool said to everyone but NeoMark and Batguy.

"Huh?" The two went.

"Deadpool made a text bet with us. He bet if Asuka learned his identity like Barbara, we'd pay about $25. Which unfortunately for us, happened…" FP11 grumbled.

"You guys have been doing bets the whole time?!" Batguy asks.

"It passes the time." BCFW went for his wallet.

"Joining in was the only way to get Wade to quit his chimichanga grudge." 61394 said as he paid in quarters.

"... so… I'm not a gambling man but… any bets people are making right now?" Batguy asks with some interest.

"What do you have in mind?" Deadpool asks.

"Well, can you cut me some slack?" Batguy asked.

"We'll talk…" Deadpool said.

10 minutes later

Now caught up to speed, Asuka walked over and lightly touched Danny's bangs of hair, examining them.

"So, your dad's weird gizmo did this to you? Who'd be stupid enough to build some weird gadget like that and think to put the on button INSIDE the thing?" She asks in disbelief.

"You'd be surprised." Danny muttered.

"He should be grateful, even though he don't know it, that all it did was give you ghost powers. I'm bettin' Ocean… wait… what are they called? O-shoe? O-show? O…sshhh… OSHA! Right… I'm bettin' OSHA doesn't like him very much?" Asuka asks as she lets go of his hair.

"Nope. It's more like he thinks they stifle his creativity or something." Danny responded.

"I still can't believe anyone can do something so dangerously stupid. I mean, he almost killed you, his own son for crying out loud! Warugi wanaikedo, kimi no otōsan wa chotto bakadane! " Asuka complained as she pressed her fists into her hips.

"I don't even speak Japanese but I can still tell you think my dad's irresponsible… which you're not wrong…" Danny said.

"I'm bettin' Heihachi Mishima would hire the guy if he found out…" Asuka said under her breath as she went back to address the idea of Danny's ghost powers. "So… that kid I've seen around was you, huh? How strong are you?" She asks, sounding a bit intrigued.

"Pretty strong...I once lifted a bus but that's only in my ghost form...otherwise, I'm pretty average in human form." Danny said.

"Any chance I can get a bit more of a demonstration than what Bryan Fury got?" Asuka asks eagerly.

"You want me to demonstrate my power? How?" Danny asks with an eyebrow raised.

"We could go toe-to-toe in a sparring match! Right here and now!" Asuka went with her fists up and an eager grin on her face.

Danny looked at her with a flat face, silent for a moment before laughing at what he's just heard.

"This month has been the only time in my life that not one but two girls from Japan have challenged me to a fight just to see how I do. If I had a nickel… I'd have two… not a lot but still…" He mused.

"So, is that a yes?" Asuka asks.

"Sure. Why not?" Danny responded with a shrug.

"Yatta!" Asuka went with a fist pump.

Not sure what that means...but I cannot deny how amazing a fighter she is… Danny thought in amusement and admiration for her.

Asuka took several steps back before raising her arms, looking determined.

"Get ready for the next battle!" Asuka said.

"Huh?" FP11 asks.

"The announcer in the game always says that as the next match loads up." NeoMark said.

"Ah… that's where the title comes from." FP11 said.

Asuka ran in, her fist raised.

Danny, on the other hand, remained still, seemingly unprepared. He simply stood there, watching her approach. At the last moment, he leaned to the side, avoiding her punch completely. Asuka's fist went through the empty space where his body was supposed to be, making a loud "thud" against the door of the broken down car behind him.

Despite the terrifying level of strength in this otherwise normal human girl, Danny could not help but feel attraction towards the much older opponent.

"Cool..." He said under his breath as Asuka pulled her hand out.

"Don't get too impressed!" She said as she rubbed her fist. "That was just my warm-up! Now let's see what you got!" She challenged him with a grin.

"Alright..." Danny said, feeling a strange sensation in his chest. He raised his fist and went into an offensive stance.

Asuka mirrored his movements, getting into her own stance.

"Hajime!" Asuka shouted, managing to step in and land a hit to his chest.

Danny's muscles tensed up at the impact, but he managed to keep his balance. He responded with a kick to her stomach, but she easily dodged it.

It was clear that they were both highly skilled, but Asuka's own experience and skill was beyond his. Even in his ghost form, Danny struggled to keep up with her.

How is it that I'm the one with powers and yet she's the one with inhuman skills? He thought as Asuka stepped to his right and landed two punches and slams to his shoulder.

Eventually, Danny managed to land a powerful uppercut that sent Asuka flying back several feet, causing her to skid along the pavement on her back. She quickly got back up, breathing heavily but grinning nonetheless.

"Not bad..." She said, wiping sweat from her brow. "But you still have a long way to go before you can beat me."

Danny smiled and wiped sweat from his own brow.

"I'll keep practicing." He said.

"You'd better, Danny-san." Asuka said, punching the air in front of her. "Because I'm going to keep getting stronger!" She paused, looking at him more closely. "You know, for a guy with ghost powers, you're actually not that bad of a fighter."

"Thanks...I think?" Danny replied, still catching his breath.

"You should come by the dojo sometime, when you're around." Asuka said, holding out her hand. "I could teach you a thing or two."

"I've been learning from watching videos of Ken Masters... seeing as I don't have time to learn proper martial arts..." Danny responded.

"Ah, that guy from those Street Fighter tournaments I hear about." Asuka said as she swung her fist upward, which Danny narrowly avoided. "A video can only show so much... but if you ever decide to learn from a real master, you know where to find me."

"Thanks..." Danny said, his heart still racing from their fight. "I appreciate it."

"No need to thank me, Danny-san." Asuka replied with a grin. "Besides, you'd be doing me a favor by giving me someone interesting to spar with."

Danny chuckled.

"Well, when I'm not so busy with everything else, and if I'm ever in Japan, I'll make sure to drop by the dojo."

"Good..." Asuka said. "Now then..." Asuka pulled back. "Maybe you should stop holding back."

"Uh... what?" Danny asks.

"I saw what you're capable of. Now let's see what you can do when you're not holding back." Asuka challenged.

"Uh… I don't know…" Danny hesitated.

He saw that Asuka was strong as some of the other girls he dated and could fight equally with them, but he didn't want to go all out, not wanting to hurt Asuka as this was meant to be a spar.

"Come on!" Asula went competitively. "Show me what you got!"

Danny hesitated for a moment, then nodded. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Alright..." He said. "But you're gonna see why I should have."

"We'll see about that." Asuka said with a grin.

They took up their fighting stances again, circling each other warily. This time, Danny felt a surge of adrenaline course through his veins as he prepared to go all out.

Their next exchange was even faster and more intense than before. Danny used his speed to unleash several powerful blows, but Asuka managed to block or dodge each one. In return, she countered with a flurry of her own attacks that left Danny struggling to keep up.

As this happened, he saw the smile on her face. She was enjoying this.

Amazing... she doesn't even ghost powers... and she's holding her own even though I'm still not going all out. Not only is she hot, she's strong too. He thought, impressed and a little intimidated.

"You're still holding back, aren't ya?" Asuka asks as her fist was caught by his hand.

"Yeah…" Danny tripped her slightly as he swung to her left. "Again, I can lift a bus. I don't know how these Iron Fist King Matches or whatever goes…" He waited for Asuka to get up. "But I'd rather not hospitalize someone who means no harm, including friends."

"Good to know…" Asuka said as she put her fists back up. "I guess I can accept you wanting to hold back if it's against someone who you regard as a friend. But since I know you can take a licking, I'll hold back less."

"Guess that's-" Danny didn't finish as Asuka punched him with enough force to send him sliding on the ground before he hit the wall of a rundown bus. "...fair."

Asuka waited for Danny to get up before she rushed towards him. Danny stood ready as Asuka jumped towards him, doing a Spinning Heel Drop, which Danny barely dodged, getting thrown a few feet back. He could feel his arms throb from the punch.

Before he could react, Asuka was in front of him and did her Step-in Rising Palm and Danny barely avoided it, feeling the air graze his face, like dodging a flying boulder. Asuka quickly followed the attack with Enchanted Circle, throwing a wide uppercut towards him, but he dodged at the last second, his right cheek getting grazed.

Danny fought back and threw a punch when she was pulling her fist back, but she dodged by ducking. Danny was then surprised when she aimed for his legs, using Violet, chopping on his legs.

"Gah!" Danny stumbled back before he crossed his arms to dodge her Swallow Mallet, causing him to stumble down before he stood back up.

"How's that?" Asuka questioned.

"Not bad…" Danny said with a tired sigh yet a big smile.

Really glad I didn't get her sooner… I don't think a clone of mine with her DNA would have been the easiest to deal with… He thought.

Finally, after several minutes of intense combat, Asuka managed to land a blow that sent Danny flying across the junk yard. He skidded to a stop, panting heavily.

"Not bad..." Asuka said, walking over to him. "But you still have a long way to go."

Danny looked up at her, feeling a mixture of frustration and admiration.

"You're really something, Asuka." He said. "I guess I should start doing more than just watch Ken Masters online… Maybe join a gym? Or take like… 5 different self defense classes…" He said without knowing the basics on how to start improving his fighting style.

Asuka looked down at the ghost boy at her feet with a smile.

"You gotta not overdo it, y'know? Can't do well in a fight, even a sparring match, if you're exhausted." Asuka tells him as she offers a hand to help him up.

"What are you, my trainer now?" Danny asks playfully with an eyebrow raised.

Asuka, hearing that, looked up and pondered before an idea came.

"Okay." She said with a smile as she lifted him up.

"... okay? What?" Danny asks, getting back on his feet.

"Okay. If you pick me… I'll be your trainer." She said.

Hearing that, the ghost boy looked lost.

"Wait… really?" Danny asks.

"Well, to be honest, I'm still a little too old for you. That said, you're a great guy and… with some training… I can see you can become a worthy opponent ." Asuka admits. "You're short… but you're younger, so it's not a deal breaker. And you got real potential here, and you'd be awesome if you were to know Kazama style martial arts." Asuka tells him as she gestures to his body.

"I bet you say that to all the superheroes who think you're really cool…" Danny said in a light-hearted manner.

"No… just the one." Asuka said with a wink.

Danny felt his face turn red as he nodded.

"Okay… it should take me like… what? 2-3 years?" He asks.

"If you could excel better than any of our disciples by then, then I'll be your girlfriend." Asuka said. "But only if you pick me. I'll still train you if you pick someone else and they're okay with it… but no cheating on them."

"You got nothing to worry about. It's a deal." Danny said.

The two of them shared a fist bump.

Asuka, seeing a potential ally and someone she wouldn't mind going out with someday, nodded as she pulled her fist back.

"So… let's go before we're spotted here." Asuka said.

"On it." Danny said as he walked calmly to the chain gate of the junkyard and, holding it, made it intangible. "Ladies first…"

Asuka, though reluctantly, stepped up to the fence. Seeing Danny nod to her that it's safe, she stuck her arm through, glaring.

"Shinjirarenai…" She said with eyes widened as she stepped through.

Once she went through, Danny let go and phased through the fence on his own. As he joined her, his ghost sense went off, causing him to go alert as the tall Japanese girl reacted to seeing that for the first time.

"Uh oh…" He went.

"It's not cold, is it? I don't feel it and look at what I'm wearing." Asuka said, gesturing to her clothes.

"That means a ghost is nearby." He said, looking left and right between the buildings they were between right now.

"I am the Box Ghost!" A familiar voice went.

"Ugh… this idiot…" Danny muttered.

"Beware! I am the Box Ghost...master of all things cardboard and sqaure! I am here to get my revenge and to not feel left out on all the ghosts that have attacked you!" Box ghost said as he made his "grand" entrance. "Beware!" He added.

"Nani? This is a ghost?" Asuka went, looking disappointed. "I expected something… cooler. I saw a dead man possessed by a demon and a cyborg ninja in the last King of the Iron Fist Tournament… this is just lame."

"Those sound more fun than dealing with this moron." Danny said in minor jealousy.

"Beware! For I have power over all things square shaped! Fear me!" The Box Ghost said as Asuka approached him.

"Let me do this…" She said. "Oi, yūrei!"

"Oh… someone who speaks Japanese? Okay… Uh…" The Box Ghost said before clearing his throat. "Kiwotsukete!" He went with his overly dramatic tone.

"Maigoninaru!" Asuka shouted before pulling her arm back and punching the Box Ghost in the stomach.

The impact sent the Box Ghost through the wall, creating a hole in the shape of his body, as he was heard groaning in pain through another wall.

Danny, behind Asuka, held his fists close to his chest and smiled in appreciation and interest.

"Not gonna lie… this is making me wanna pick you the most right now." Danny said.

"Sore o kii te ureshikattadesu." Asuka said.

"So… we still got time… care to find another ghost to hit?" Danny asks.

"Sō sō!" Asuka went with a fist pump. "That was Japanese and it means yes, not so-so." Asuka said.

Hearing that, Danny nodded.

30 minutes later

"Kore o kande kudasai!" Asuka shouted as she punched the large three-headed bear-like ghost Danny had found for her to fight in a local Chintatown shopping center. "Orokana kuma no yūrei!" She shouted.

Seeing the ghost hit the ground, Danny Fenton pulled out the Thermos and fired, capturing it.

"There we go." Danny said.

"Now that was more like it!" Asuka said with a big grin.

Wow… no powers and she sent that thing, a kangaroo ghost, and some weird salmon thing flying… Nice… Danny thought.

"So… what now?" Danny asks.

Before Asuka could answer, her phone went off and she groaned.

"I'm out of time… I promised my dad I'd be back soon." She said.

"I could walk… or fly you back if you'd like." Danny offered.

Before Asuka could respond, a car honked at them. A familiar limousine parked next to them as a certain girl opened the door and stepped out.

"Ah! Asuka Kazama! I had heard some woman with dangerous strength was seen punching a large beast… then I recalled you are in this little town… so I came looking." Lili said with a haughty tone in her voice.

Asuka's mood became soured as she began to lose her patience.

"Hinto o moraemasen ka? Maigoninaru!" She shouted.

"What she said…" Danny said with his arms crossed.

Lili glanced at Danny briefly.

"Who is this boy who has followed you? Your new practice dummy?" She questioned.

"Danny-san wa sonohi no buraindodētodesu. Soshite, kare wa toshishita de sentōkide wa arimasenga... Watashi wa anata yori mo kare to issho ni jikan o sugoshitaidesu." Asuka answered her with a serious look on her face.

"Blind date? Ha! Such jest." Lili said.

Okay, she's starting to get on my nerves… Danny thought bitterly.

"Now then… you and I shall finally have our rematch!" Lili insisted as she readied for a fight.

"Mō unzarida!" Asuka said.

"Uh, Asuka?" Danny went. "Your dad?"

Asuka, hearing that, nodded as she turned to her rival.

"Ikanakucha. Ima sugu shuppatsu sa sete kudasai." Asuka said with a quick bow.

"Unacceptable! Face me now!" Lili demanded.

"U ̄ n,na n to iu gaichūda…" Asuka said as she rubbed her head in irritation.

Thinking fast, Danny walked back, hiding behind a car so he could turn invisible and walk towards the limousine.

"Do not dilly-dally any longer, Asuka Kazama! I demand…" Lili went, her back turned to the limousine. "... that you face me this instant!"

That's when the sound of the limousine hitting the concrete got her attention. Turning her back, to her horror, the tires popped.

"Miss Lili!" Sebastian said, getting up. "This is not good! Your father wants you home in an hour! It will take longer to get new tires!"

"What?! What happened, Sebastian?!" Lili questioned.

As she did so, Danny returned to Asuka and playfully elbowed her arm with a wink.

"That was me… let's go." He said.

Asuka nodded, deciding she wasn't going to deal with Lili right now.

Lili continued expressing shock and outrage as the two made their escape.

Once they were far enough, Danny had gone ghost and carried Asuka to where she was staying. He carried her around the arms as he landed near the hotel her school was staying at. Unlike the past hotels, this one was smaller, located near the mountains.

"This is it?" Danny asks.

"Not exactly 5 stars, but it suffices." Asuka said.

Danny then landed and, making sure no one saw them, morphed. Both of them walked out when they made sure the coast was clear by the vegetation they hid behind.

"Well, guess this is it." Danny said.

"Yeah. I promised my dad I'd be here. He told me to take a photo of me being here and not to cheat by sending pics from different times. I gotta show proof, like standing by the digital clock inside." Asuka said.

"Or… I could show the time on my phone so he'll see proof it isn't faked." Danny suggests.

Asuka, hearing that, thought about it and smiled.

"Better idea? Why not stand in with me?" She suggests.

"You sure?" He asks.

"Sure. I can take a photo to send to him and one I can send to you." She said.

Danny, pondering, nodded.

"Let's do it." He said as he got next to her, using her left arm to position her phone as Danny held up his to show the date and time.

"Hai Chizu!" Asuka said with a smile. "That means: say cheese."

"Uh… Hi Chi-Zoo?" Danny went with a small smile as Asuka took the picture.

"Perfect." Asuka said as she sent it to her father. "Now… let's do one for us."

"Okay…" Danny said.

"Again… "Asuka readied to take the photo as Danny lowered his phone. "Say it again."

"Okay… Hi Cheezy?" Danny went.

"Close enough." Asuka said as she took the photo.

After she took the photo, she decided to thank Danny for both the save and the spar.

Danny felt a pair of lips on his head, on the side of his forehead.

Asuka had just kissed the side of his head before winking at him.

"That was just a thank you for saving my butt… and being a fun sparring partner." Asuka said.

"You're not the only date I've had who wants to pick me to be a sparring partner…" Danny said. "Two nickels…" He mused as his face turned red.

"Remember…" Asuka said as she held a fist up. "You ever wanna get better at fighting, learn from everyone you can… my dojo's doors are always open." She said.

Danny smiled and nodded as he raised his own fist.

"And if you ever got ghost trouble… I'm an email away." He said.

With that, the two shared a fist bump. Asuka smiled down in appreciation for her new friend as Danny's smile and blush never left him.

Finally, someone who isn't obsessing over my chest. If only he were older and taller… She thought in amusement.

"See ya later, Shorty…" Asuka said.

"Do you really have to call me that?" Danny asks with a smile.

"Sorry… I kind of like it." Asuka shrugged.

"Shorty it is, I guess…" Danny said with sigh as he shook his head and waved to her as he walked away. "Take care, Asuka!"

"Kiwotsukete ganbattekudasai!" She said with a thumb's up and a wink. As Danny walked away, Asuka smiled to herself once he was out of sight.

A shame… if he were just a year or two older, I'd be more okay with being a couple so soon. Oh well… I did say he could train with me. Plus, he got me away from Lili… that's a plus in my book. Maybe dating him for real someday isn't too much of a stretch… She thought as she went back to the hotel.

Danny, meanwhile, walked away with the biggest smile on my face.

"What in the heck was Tucker so afraid of? She's like… awesome! Definite top 10!" He said to himself as he headed for home.

The antepenultimate date was over.

"And there we go, the date with the last video game girl is finished." NeoMark said.

"Huh… I'm iffy on the age difference but Asuka seems like a tough girl...though I admit I am not too familiar with her character." FP11 said. "Still, she was kinda fun to watch when she took down those groups of guys attacking."

BCFW nodded silently as he kept an eye on the display.

"I think she and Danny hit it off pretty well." 61394 said grinning. "Pun not intended." He adds, taking a sip of his drink.

"Sakura remains my favorite videogame character among Danny's dates but Asuka is still a good match." Luiz4200 said.

"I agree with Number Boy on that. Also, I'm excited for the next date and wondering who she is." PF1991 said.

"So, this means two left." Deadpool said.

"Ooh!" The Warners went.

"Okay… but we got something to do before we get to her…" NeoMark said.

Batguy01 whispered something to Deadpool, who nodded.

"You're on!" Deadpool went.

"Did you guys just bet?" NeoMark said.

"That, well... You'll find out when we get there…" Batguy said.

"I've got a feeling Danny's next dates are going to be fun." 61394 said

"Maybe… but first…" Neo said.
