Fight
Emmett
"THE DIVORCE? YOU WANT THE DIVORCE?!" Rosalie shouted, beside herself, waving a hand full of papers around.
She looked beautiful as ever and her black eyes were fixed on Bella and me.
Why did she always have to be such a drama queen!
The wolves around us had phased and growled at them.
I was about to speak when Bella walked up to her.
"You turned her?!", she asked, shocked.
"Shut up, Rosalie! Who do you think you are? Of course he wants to divorce you!", Bella yelled at Rosalie and held out her hand with the engagement ring.
"WHAT? Who do you think you are?"
Rosalie became even angrier than she already was, and I considered intervening.
But Bella slapped her across the face to get her to shut up.
My tough little newborn.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?", Bella screamed.
Faster than Rose could look, Bella grabbed her by the arm and flung her full force against a tree, which splintered under the weight.
Damn, my girl went crazy. Hot!
Rose was already standing again and flying toward Bella.
"YOU and Edward are cheating on both of us ..." She shoved Rosalie back. "You're hurting us." She pushed her further. "Then we're still nice enough to save you both from the Volturi. And now you come here and think you have ANY RIGHT to him?"
Rosalie hissed at Bella, but she hissed back and rammed her knee into Rose's stomach.
The wolves and I watched in shock as Bella snapped.
"YOU have NO right to be mad at either of us. We did not cheat on you. And if you don't sign those papers right now, I'm going to freak out," she said.
I chuckled so softly that she couldn't hear.
I would have liked to see what 'freaking out' meant to Bella. What was it that she was doing now?
Rosalie hissed.
"You have nothing to say to me!" she said and took a swing to hit Bella in the face.
The wolves next to me growled just as loudly as I did.
But one of the wolves, a gray, jumped in between and flung Rose with his head ten meters away from Bella. The wolf happily tripped back to us.
"What do you think, anyway? Do you think you can have both of them? Did you really think Emmett would stay here alone, waiting for you to lust after him again? You're not as great as you might think yourself!"
Rosalie stood right in front of Bella and spat on the floor.
"Do you think you are something better? Edward didn't want you. Why would Emmett want you?"
She hit Bella against a tree, whereupon she hissed even more.
Oh shit, should I intervene?
I was just too captivated.
She jumped on Rose and pinned her to a rock wall. The rock wall crumbled and splintered. Their faces were so close that they almost touched.
"You sign those damn papers now, bitch ... or I'll SWEAR I'm gonna fuck you up."
"I won't let YOU marry him."
Rose spat her venom directly into Bella's face.
I wondered if Rose had ever done anything more stupid. Nope, that was really the dumbest idea she ever had.
Bella grabbed Rosalie's arm and flung her into the air, jumping up and ramming her down in the air with both fists, where Rosalie crashed onto a rock.
"You ... spit ... in ... my ... face?", Bella screamed in complete rage and threw her anew against the rock.
And punched her in the stomach again before nailing her to the wall again.
"Sign."
It was more of a growl.
The gray wolf trotted to the two … with the papers and a pen. Three other wolves went to them and circled them.
"Rose," I spoke up and stepped up next to Bella. "Bella is absolutely right. You can't expect me to wait for you like a puppy. You can't expect me not to want a divorce after everything you and Edward have done to us. Now sign or I'll leave and let Bella and the wolves figure out what to do with you," I said, holding out the papers to her.
I didn't want Bella and the wolves to kill her, of course, but her performance was the last straw.
She stared at me with her black eyes.
"If you want me to sign this, don't ever come crawling back to me, Emmett!", she said.
Bella pressed her ulna against Rosalie's neck and pushed her harder against the rock.
"Who do you think you are, beauty queen? Emmett deserves so much better than you!", Bella said, showing her razor-sharp teeth.
Rose looked from Bella to the wolves that now surrounded us all to me. She reached for the contract and Bella let go of her so she could sign it. She threw the papers to the ground and disappeared into the forest.
We all stared at Bella.
Which apparently made her uncomfortable, as usual, because she lifted the papers and acted as if nothing had happened. As if she hadn't just beaten up the biggest fury in the world.
"Bella, that was amazing. Really!", I said in amazement as she handed me the papers.
The dogs around me nodded enthusiastically.
The gray wolf from earlier came up to Bella and nudged her nose at Bella's raised 'high-five' hand.
"Thank you LeeLee," she said.
That was Leah? Wow ... those two should be UFC fighters!
The rusty brown wolf next to me, that is Jake, gave a short howl and said goodbye with a nudge to Bella.
The others followed him.
Bella took my hand and pulled me towards the house.
I was still pretty speechless.
Alice stood in front of the house and smiled her 'I know everything' smile.
"Alice, if you knew Rose was coming and going to go nuts like that, why didn't you warn us?", I asked annoyed.
She shrugged her shoulders.
"I've seen Bella take her down. And don't act like you didn't like it. Bella is awesome!"
I rolled my eyes.
Of course, she was awesome.
I took her in my arms from behind and kissed her neck.
"Well, it did look pretty hot, my fiancée."
Bella laughed.
Finally she said something. I had already wondered what the silence number was about.
"Don't be silly, Emmett," she said, turning to me.
"Bella, I swear, if you didn't look sexy as hell doing that, me or the wolves would have stepped in by now. Why do you think Leah was the only one who could even react?"
She rolled her eyes and kissed me.
Of course, she did not believe me.
"If you say so. Alice, can you see what Edward is up to when Rose tells him I'm a vampire?", she asked Alice, whom I had completely forgotten.
Her gaze glazed over and after a minute she looked at us again.
Edward would not like that at all. Now her blood no longer sang for him. Well ... I really hoped he would come and make a drama too, then I could think about all the things Bella and I did through the night and what he never wanted to do with her.
"He's going to be pissed ... But that's all I see yet," Alice said and walked away.
Bella still seemed a little too calm in my arms.
"Belly, what's going on."
She buried her face against my chest.
Pointless, as she would neither blush nor burst into tears.
She shook her head.
Was she injured anywhere?
I took her by the shoulders and pushed her away a little.
"Please, tell me what's on your mind," I begged her.
"It's nothing," she said, burying her face in her hands again.
What was she making a fuss about now? Everything had gone great.
"Bella ...", I said softly, forcing her to look me in the eye.
"It's just something Rose said," she said humbly.
Even as a vampire, my look still confused her.
"How can you take anything that comes out of her mouth to heart?", I asked incredulously.
A moment ago she was full of self-confidence and had really stomped on Rose, and now?
"But she's right. Edward didn't want me. Why would you want me?", she asked full of uncertainty.
How could she believe such nonsense. I had just proposed to her and then one word from Rose and she doubted my love?
"Bella? Please don't doubt so much. You know how much I love you. I want to spend my eternity with you. You are EVERYTHING I could ask for! Please Bella! Don't believe a word this person says. What matters is you and me."
She took a deep breath and looked up at me.
Her eyes were as uncertain as I had not seen them in a long time and as I certainly did not expect them to be after such a struggle.
"Really?"
I rolled my eyes and leaned my head down so my forehead touched hers.
"Really. I love you so much. There are no words to describe my feelings for you. When will that get into your stubborn little head?", I said and smiled at her.
She smiled back.
"I love you too."
